It does seem so simple now. Writing in Rolling Stone Friday, Jesse A. Myerson breaks down the “Five Economic Reforms Millennials Should Be Fighting For.” Just five?
Well, along with guaranteed work for everybody, Myerson argues that millennials should “take back the land” from landlords (“landlords blow”) and “make everything owned by everybody” (because “hoarders blow”). For the record, unemployment and Wall Street also blow.
Rolling Stone blows.

You know what else really blows? Communists.

.@AdamBaldwin The writer blows. He doesn't realize Obama blows. He also rides a unicorn that blows rainbow toots out of it's hind end.

Many are wondering: is Myerson simply paraphrasing Karl Marx, or is the piece an elaborate parody of Karl Marx?
Google Translate did a pretty good Russian-to-English translation of this recently discovered Karl Marx column. http://t.co/5hGx3VcHCD

Seriously, @JAMyerson's article reads like Bill and Ted if they did their report on Karl Marx. I'm very skeptical.

Had anyone heard of @jamyerson before tonight? That article really does have the tone of a parody. I think you're all getting played.

@AdamBaldwin I think that article was plagiarized from Karl Marx.

Holy hell. This cannot possibly be real. Jeebus. RT “@AdamBaldwin: #NUTS! – http://t.co/irCOsfv9Kt”

@HarrietBaldwin @AdamBaldwin I need to jumpstart my brain after reading that.

Someone should tell Yglesias the bar on economic columns has been lowered.

What are your thoughts on PIV @JAMyerson ?
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) January 4, 2014
Heh.
Myerson popped up on Twitter to defend his piece, suggesting it’s not a parody at all.
So far, except a timid question about UBI disemployment, no one has refuted anything in the article, so I feel pretty good about this turn.
— #FeelTheBurghardt (@JAMyerson) January 4, 2014
.@JAMyerson How does one refute satire? Help me out here.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) January 4, 2014
Here's my conservative rebuttal to Myerson
1. Nuke our enemies
2. Give everyone a gun
3. Eliminate the federal governmentNow refute me..
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) January 4, 2014
No, I will not link to @JAMyerson 's nonsense, but here is my official response: https://t.co/tGVQRSpFxr
