It isn’t. Then again, when it comes to constitutional matters, Musket Morgan doesn’t have a clue.
This morning, he’s throwing in his unsolicited two cents about Phil Robertson’s suspension from “Duck Dynasty” over Robertson’s religious beliefs regarding homosexuality. And it’s clear that in light of recent events, Morgan is as big a jackass as ever:
Phil Robertson is not a 'victim of political correctness'. He's a victim of his own repulsively racist, homophobic bigotry. #DuckDynasty
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
Just as the 2nd Amendment shouldn't protect assault rifle devotees, so the 1st Amendment shouldn't protect vile bigots. #PhilRobertson
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
Yes, Phil Robertson was horribly racist too. Read this: > http://t.co/iVEcUC6WbQ #DuckDynasty
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
I'm entitled to loathe them > RT @adam_c_profitt @piersmorgan We have freedom of speech in this country, the man is entitled to his opinions
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
No, I hate racist bigots > RT @twackley @piersmorgan just admit it Piers, you hate conservative Christians
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
He won’t tolerate intolerance!
Calm down, everyone. I'm merely exercising my own 1st Amendment freedom of speech rights to say Phil Robertson's a racist bigot.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
What a colossal dolt.
Factually incorrect > RT @ruffansore .@piersmorgan You're the bigot, Pencil-Dick.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 19, 2013
While we’re not gonna comment on the nickname, we can say without reservation that Piers is most definitely a bigot — a very, very stupid one.

You wouldn’t think.
I wonder if Piers Morgan thinks the Fifth Amendment should protect guilty people, or the Tenth states he wouldn't visit.
— Matt Bramanti (@mattbramanti) December 19, 2013
.@piersmorgan Actually that's exactly what the First Amendment is for you cheeseheaded ponce.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) December 19, 2013
Your hatred of the Bill of Rights is (constitutionally protected) bigotry. @piersmorgan
— ن Mikey Ramone ن (@ThePantau) December 19, 2013
.@piersmorgan His grandson is black, you idiot. He was speaking about his personal experience, that's not racist. Shut up, already.
— Savannah (@thesavvy) December 19, 2013
@piersmorgan Tolerance of religion is just as important as tolerance of sexuality. Americans don't like Brits telling them what to do.

"The 1st amendment should not protect people who offend me" – Constituional scholar and photoshop expert @piersmorgan
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) December 19, 2013
.@piersmorgan Dear schmuck, point of the 1st amendment is to protect unpopular & offensive speech. Popular speech doesn't need protection.
— AG (@AG_Conservative) December 19, 2013
@piersmorgan We have freedom of speech in this country, the man is entitled to his opinions.
— Adam C. Profitt (@adam_c_profitt) December 19, 2013
@piersmorgan Don't forget, were it not for free speech rights, you would have been unemployed long ago. Off the high horse, Piers.
— Keith Burgin (@KeithBurgin) December 19, 2013
Piers Morgan confused as to point of Bill of Rights https://t.co/UPooZ2hXcc
— Sunny (@sunnyright) December 19, 2013
@piersmorgan Perhaps you need to watch the speech from The American President. Free speech means exactly that, even if you hate the words.
— Jason (@Frugleone) December 19, 2013
@piersmorgan I'm offended. Let's fire you. That's how it works right?
— Dr Hugo Hackenbush (@MangyLover) December 19, 2013
Dear @PiersMorgan, you're bigoted against gun owners. Should you be suspended?
— RBe (@RBPundit) December 19, 2013

@piersmorgan I'm glad to see that you misunderstand other amendments as badly as you misinterpret the 2nd amendment.
— G.R. Hall (@Garrett_R_Hall) December 19, 2013
.@piersmorgan Piers' misunderstanding what the Constitution stands for and protects now moves into legendary status. #GetEducated

Based on this tweet by @piersmorgan https://t.co/COznYzlOz8 one expects he'd like to see this: http://t.co/EpTEBR6SdS
— Jay Caruso (@JayCaruso) December 19, 2013
Since @PiersMorgan doesn't think the 1st Amen should protect "vile bigots", maybe he'll find he's next.Rights for all or they're for none.

Be careful what you wish for, Piers.
