Here’s how:

Ding, ding, ding!

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) shouted out, “you lie” to President Pants on Fire during a speech to a joint session of Congress in 2009. The Left clutched their pearls madly, natch. How dare someone tell the truth?!

The New York Times on Sunday disgracefully and shamefully called Obama’s “you can keep your plan” lie, a lie told consistently and repeatedly, just a little misspeaking. Sheesh, guys! Talking is hard and stuff.

Citizens didn’t buy it, natch. You see, they aren’t idiots.

Many Twitter users have been remembering that Rep. Joe Wilson called out the president years ago.

Actor Nick Searcy weighed in as well.

Another great pic:

Where is Rep. Wilson’s phone call?

And this exit snark brings it all home:

Boot-licking fail: You won’t believe NYT’s excuse for Obama’s ‘you can keep your plan’ lie
