As Twitchy reported earlier this week, the National Park Service denied a permit to a group of cyclists who wanted to ride through Washington, D.C. on Sept. 11 to honor the military and the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Two Million Bikers to D.C. decided to show up anyway, permit or not, and word is that the group is being welcomed and assisted by D.C. police. James Woods sent along his sincere thanks that the bikers were being allowed their right to peaceably assemble.
Editor’s note: Twitchy has removed a tweet containing a video that documented an August 2013 9/11 memorial ride. We regret the error.
