In 1955, a 14-year old African American boy, Emmett Till, was brutally killed for supposedly whistling at a white woman in Mississippi. His murderers were acquitted of the crime.
The horrible murder of Till is a stain on our nation’s history.
As heinous as this event was, some are using it in order to push a leftist race narrative and erase all the civil rights gains made in the last 60 years:
