The report tonight by Bloomberg that the Obamacare employer mandate might be delayed until 2015 must have caught the president’s supporters by surprise too — how else is there to explain Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ tweet arguing that the delay is somehow a sign that President Obama (or @BarackObama, which is an independent nonprofit with no connection to the president, remember) is “in it for the long haul”?
By the time the Sunday shows roll around, a less desperate set of talking points will have gone out, but for now we’ll have to settle with the reassuring promise/threat, “You can’t stop it.” Really? That just makes it sound even more like a train wreck.
@DWStweets Which is why he's delaying enforcement of a major mandate of it… #DebbieKnowsNothing
