Multiple large tornadoes are being reported southwest of Oklahoma City this evening, with storm activity heading east toward heavily populated areas.

A tornado currently being tracked might actually pass through Moore, Okla., which was devastated May 20.

About 1,000 people have been evacuated from Will Rogers Airport and directed to take shelter in a tunnel beneath the airport.

The staff of the Oklahoman newspaper has taken shelter in the basement.

“It’s heading right for downtown.”

A clear picture of the damage from tonight’s storms isn’t likely to form until morning, but early reports of deaths are being coming in.
