Why Lena Dunham, one of The Atlantic’s “Brave Thinkers of 2012,” decided to commemorate Memorial Day by tweeting about her restroom activities is beyond our understanding. The tweet earned plenty of well-deserved backlash and, according to Dunham, wishes from “conservative guys” that she’d get breast cancer. Even one such comment is too many, and a quick search shows that one such comment is all that could be found.
BTW… I searched and only found ONE dude, not dudes, that mentioned anything about @lenadunham getting breast cancer.

That ONE dude is a moron. And @lenadunham is an ass for trying to make it sound like multiple dudes said that to her.

This was the ONE dude who said anything about breast cancer. http://t.co/R7MPNhetV7

Dunham did find a defender in sex columnist and anti-bullying advocate Dan Savage, who shared his vision of a just universe.
In a just universe… wishing breast cancer on someone would quadruple a man's risk of prostate cancer.
— Dan Savage (@fakedansavage) May 27, 2013
What’s the penalty for wishing oral cancer on someone, then? Say, Sarah Palin? We confess we don’t understand how the rules work in this just universe of Savage’s.
For some historical context, just THREE FRIIGGIN' WEEKS AGO, @fakedansavage saw the 'upside' of oral cancer'. So kindly, STFU, hypocrite.

Funny how Lena Dunham had zero outrage when @fakedansavage wished cancer on Sarah Palin.

@fakedansavage Wait…wait… just how short is your memory, scumbag? ps…go get your prostate checked #SavageLogc http://t.co/AIbVIQKh3i

You wished cancer on Palin. MT @fakedansavage In a just universe, wishing breast cancer on someone would quadruple risk of prostate cancer.
— Jim Treacher (@jtLOL) May 28, 2013
Shorter @fakedansavage: "Wishing cancer on my political allies is wrong! Now let's all pray that Sarah Palin gets a horrible fatal disease!"
— James Del Rey (@JimDelRey) May 28, 2013
@TwitchyTeam Doorknob-licker Dan Savage is up 2 his usual hypocrisy. Apprntly, now it's WRONG to wish cancer on ppl. https://t.co/Z0LWJHcg2b

So is @fakedansavage completely lacking self-awareness or is he a hateful hypocritical fame whore? #Yes

In a just universe hypocrites like @fakedansavage wouldn't be celebrated by society. https://t.co/jFdvlAs5iQ
