The butt hurt is strong with this one. MT @MMFlint
Thank you President Jimmy Carter for bringing up the "disputed election of 2000"— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) April 25, 2013
Michael Moore found something he liked about today’s dedication ceremony at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, and it’s no surprise it was Jimmy Carter’s flashback to an alternative future where Al Gore still had a chance to become president. Note Moore’s insistence on putting the word “library” in quotation marks — they probably don’t even have a single copy of “Dude, Where’s My Country” to check out. Besides, Bush can’t even read; right, Albert Brooks?
HIstoric day today. Never thought I would see Bush and Library in the same sentence.

I get it. RT @AlbertBrooks: HIstoric day today. Never thought I would see Bush and Library in the same sentence.

What sort of nation opens this “fake” library while allegedly closing real libraries from coast to coast? Is it all part of Bush’s plan to keep the nation ignorant and pave the way for Jeb? Or is it Al Gore’s fault for inventing the Internet?
Scores of libraries across the US have been closed or cut-back. An ignorant nation is an easy-to-fool nation. Reading only gets in the way.

@MMFlint disagree with that, what about the internet? Widely accessible and a forum for all.

@MMFlint Another reason could be tech like iPads replacing books. I agree though, reading is important. But the way we read is changing.

U ever hear of the Internet? @MMFlint
— Jersey Shore Rises (@bohratom) April 25, 2013
@MMFlint why go to the library when I can download my favorite book to my phone?
— Frank Hardy (@HardyNerd) April 25, 2013
@MMFlint think that a little thing called internet has anything to do with that Michael? More info on my phone than my grade school library

@MMFlint If only we had some means in which we could access reading materials from our homes by sitting in front of machines… one day…
