Jim Carrey’s pretty pleased with himself after branding gun owners “heartless motherf**kers” and mocking Charlton Heston with his asinine “Cold Dead Hand” video. He probably thought those stunts would put some much-needed polish on his dulling star. Unfortunately for him, hasn’t quite worked out that way. All he’s accomplished, really, is alienating a significant chunk of his fan base.
Count “Red Eye” host Greg Gutfeld among those fed up with Carrey’s loathsome schtick. This afternoon, Gutfeld let the ghoulish gun grabber have it, opening up a can of whoop-ass and giving Carrey the throttling he so richly deserves:
