On Monday, citizens took to Twitter to urge lapdog George Stephanopoulos to ask President Obama about the Benghazi terrorist attack. It’s been six months and Americans still don’t have answers; Families still don’t have justice.
The interview aired Tuesday morning on “Good Morning America” and Stephanopoulos’ feelings on the matter quickly became clear: What difference, at this point, does it make?
Stephanopoulos didn’t bother with any questions about the attack, but he did give the president an opportunity to minimize the nation’s debt problems. Shorter Obama: No biggie!
Obama on GMA: "we don't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt. In fact, for the next ten years, it's gonna be in a sustainable place"

Obama tells @GStephanopoulos failure to get a debt deal "won't create a crisis. It just means that we will have missed an opportunity"

More than 16 trillion in debt? Totally “sustainable,” says Obama.
[W]e don’t have an immediate crisis in terms of debt. In fact, for the next ten years, it’s gonna be in a sustainable place.
Reality is hard.
That really explains it all. Obama doesn't really care/worry about the debt. That's why he only wants higher taxes and more spending.

Shorter Obama: I’m going to let the next president inherit the debt problem. #KeepKickingThatCan

The federal government borrows $4 billion per day RT: @jonkarl Obama on GMA: "we don't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt."
— Stephen Hayes (@stephenfhayes) March 13, 2013
Obama's comments on the debt echo what he told David Letterman last fall. He doesn't believe it's an immediate problem.
— Stephen Hayes (@stephenfhayes) March 13, 2013
Reality is notoriously insensitive to charm offensives. Saying the debt isn't an issue is astoundingly out of touch.
— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) March 13, 2013
I guess the president wants to wait til we're Greece to get serious RT @jonkarl: 3 times Obama told @GStephanopoulos there is no debt crisis
— Reince Priebus (@Reince) March 13, 2013
16.7 trillion = "not a debt crisis" to Obama? Truly laughable.
— Reince Priebus (@Reince) March 13, 2013
When Obama took office, national debt = $10.6 trillion. Now it's $16.7 trillion & he says there isn't a debt problem http://t.co/yjqaI2wfLJ

In '08, Obama said it was "unpatriotic" & "irresponsible" to add $4 trillion debt; he's added $6 trillion since '09: http://t.co/wA5xO9ZPim

This kind of steps on his whole "We must raise taxes to address the debt" message: https://t.co/SmEQL3m6ma.
— Sean Davis (@seanmdav) March 13, 2013
So I guess Obama was just being disingenuous all those times he talked about the need to reduce the debt. If there's no crisis, why bother?
— Logan Dobson (@LoganDobson) March 13, 2013
Weird that Obama thinks there is no debt crisis at 16 trillion, but thought it was dire at 10 trillion.
— AG (@AG_Conservative) March 13, 2013
Yes, isn’t that odd?
