As Twitchy reported this afternoon, a 14-year-old was shot in the back of the neck at Price Middle School in Atlanta, Ga., today in what police suspect was a targeted shooting. The Associated Press is reporting tonight that an armed officer on duty at the school was able to diarm the shooter just moments after the incident. The shooter was then taken into custody.

School shooting in Atlanta. Thankfully there was an armed officer there to stop it.

The Atlanta school shooting won't be covered by the national media. It was stopped by an armed officer on campus. Doesn't fit the narrative.

An armed officer at a middle school stopped a school shooter in Atlanta today. So, is Wayne LaPierre crazy? http://t.co/r3HAqP56

Wayne LaPierre? Isn’t he the guy who suggested kids should be armed so they could shoot back? No, that was David Frum. The NRA had suggested trained adults like the one at Price Middle School stand guard, but, whatever.
“@SkyNewsBreak: Reports: Two people have been shot at a middle school in Atlanta, Georgia”
If only they had been armed!

Too bad these kids weren't armed, this wouldn't have happened. Right? Atlanta school shooting: 14-year-old shot in head http://t.co/UnSirAB9

Update:
How will liberals react? Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert points out the obvious: an armed guard didn’t prevent the first shooting from happening. Did he prevent a second shooting from happening? We’ll never know, because he managed to disarm the shooter.
they cant stop shootings; RT @CharlieKayeCBS There was armed resource officer on duty at the middle school where a student was shot today
