Things looked dire earlier this week when it was announced that former president George H.W. Bush had been admitted to the intensive care unit of Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, with a stubborn fever. Soon after the announcement, Bush asked through an aide that people “put the harps back in the closet” because his condition was improving.
Sure enough, Bush spokesman Jim McGrath has announced today that Bush has been moved out of intensive care and back into a regular room.
Bush has been hospitalized since Nov. 23 for treatment of a persistent cough. We wish him a speedy and full recovery.
Update:
Were the Oak Ridge Boys responsible for pulling Bush back from the brink?
After Barbara Bush requested, Oak Ridge Boys call and sing for Pres Geoge HW Bush. He asked for Elvira and then they did Amazing Grace.
