It isn’t just Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s creative spelling of “devices” that makes her gun-grabbing proposal absurd. DiFi’s proposed mutilation of gun owners’ rights is even more extensive than her maiming of the English language.
Fascistariffic. RT @adamsbaldwin: Instant Feinstein gonna get you… – http://t.co/Hr4eFszP

People calm down. @SenFeinstein doesn't want to ban all guns. Just ones that have handles, bullets, and triggers. All others are fine.
— Ben Howe (@BenHowe) December 27, 2012
That’s not much of an exaggeration.
For those asking, we don't know the details of Feinstein's new AWB because it doesn't actually exist. Bill text to come in January.

Feinstein’s legislation has yet to be released — she probably wants to pass the bill before you find out what’s in it — but today her office shared a summary of her gun-grabbing proposal. “Onerous and absurd” look like mild criticisms after reading her outline of the proposed “assault weapons” ban.
National gun registry? Check! Banning guns based on the way they look? Check! Possible outlawing of certain BB guns, handguns, and semi-automatic rifles and shotguns? Yep, you guessed it. Check!
So…..registration. Senator Feinstein is going there. And continues the stupidity by banning guns based on their appearance.

Registration of firearms is the killer app for confiscation. Just saying.

Feinstein’s proposal starts off with a ban on 120 “specifically-named firearms” that aren’t specifically named anywhere in her summary.
Feinstein's bill would also ban 120 "specifically-named" – though yet unrevealed – weapons. http://t.co/YXSPmh7v

It’s like a Cracker Jack prize. The mystery is part of the allure, right?
More details:
Feinstein's AWB would ban any long gun with a pistol grip. http://t.co/YXSPmh7v
— Lachlan Markay (@lachlan) December 27, 2012
All existing guns grandfathered in under Feinstein's plan would have to be registered with the ATF. http://t.co/YXSPmh7v
— Lachlan Markay (@lachlan) December 27, 2012
Feinstein's bill would ban handguns that have a "military characteristic." I'm sure that's not at all arbitrary.
— Lachlan Markay (@lachlan) December 27, 2012
A “military characteristic”? Like the ability to fire bullets?
–> RT @BenHowe: @lachlan "military characteristic?" You mean bullets?

Musket Morgan will be pleased as punch!
Think that if you like your BB gun you can keep it? Think again:
Perspective: this gun would probably be banned under Feinstein's AWB http://t.co/wxJ48yop

Of course, there’s one class of citizens that won’t feel any pressure to comply with the law if it passes.
If I were a criminal, I'd be LOLing at Sen Feinstein.

Will the well-known exemption for people committing acts of journalism in the “public interest” be included in the bill?
Does Feinstein’s proposed gun ban come with the Gregory Exemption included?

Stay tuned.
