On Monday evening, actor Rob Lowe tuned in to Fox News to watch Shepard Smith’s coverage of Sandy after the storm made landfall. While Shep Smith has critics on both sides of the aisle, it was the oh-so-smart and totally tolerant “Faux News” haters who blasted Lowe for daring to flip the channel to Fox.
@RobLowe Shep Fox News is your channel? I guess U vote Romney. No wonder it was so tough for you to play the brilliant Sam Seaborn,

The nerve of Lowe, watching anything other than MSDNC!
Lowe did not endorse Romney (or anyone else, for that matter), though some do suspect that his presidential vote went to the GOP nominee.

@RobLowe Watching FauxNews? That channel is pure scripted Hollywood entertainment #fixnews

@RobLowe Can't believe you watch Fox "News", even Shep Smith. That network has absolutely zero credibility. Are U watching them for laughs?

Lowe dished it back to one particularly obnoxious follower.
“@HighwayStarrrr: @RobLowe Why the fuck are you watching that channel?”
I watch all channels. MY brain can take it.— Rob Lowe (@RobLowe) October 29, 2012
As Twitchy has reported, Lowe also tunes in to CNN, though it’s often to take swipes at the anchors. Sadly, Piers Morgan is proud of that.
@RobLowe @HighwayStarrrr ..and he'll be switching to CNN at 9pm, right Rob?

But Lowe kept his response classy.
“@piersmorgan: @RobLowe @HighwayStarrrr ..and he'll be switching to CNN at 9pm, right Rob?”
Always, my friend.— Rob Lowe (@RobLowe) October 30, 2012
