Well this is a new spin on the Twitter death hoax.
Not only have thousands and thousands of people tweeted about the death of the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin laden — they’ve even given him a name.
This tweet alone has been retweeted more than 11,000 times.
Many thanked him for his sacrifices.
But sickeningly, this American hero seems to have been targeted by Twitter assassins. Here’s the first clue that this is yet another death hoax:
In addition, there are no credible sources reporting the death.
The Navy Times has also debunked this rumor.
A Navy Personnel Command official told the Navy Times that they don’t even have a SEAL named Todd Jones in their database.
