Twitter exploded with mockery and anger at the ridiculous MSNBC tweet that smeared all members of the “right wing” by assuming we’d hate a commercial with a biracial family:

msnbc-cheerios

So here are some famous biracial and mixed-race families that MSNBC would probably deride as being right-wing racists.

* * *

Mitt Romney’s adorable adopted grandson was actually mocked by MSNBC. Apparently the network’s execs have already forgotten about Melissa Perry having to tearfully apologize for the disgusting attack.

* * *

Actor Nick Searcy is constantly accused of being a racist on Twitter because he’s an unabashed conservative. His family begs to differ:

* * *

Of course, everyone knows the Duck Dynasty family members are all racists, right? Oh wait…

* * *

OK, we have to admit Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., clearly is no right-winger. But he’s a Republican — and for that reason, he’s still accused of being racist, even though his daughter-in-law is black, and his adopted daughter is from Bangladesh:

      As far as I’m concerned, we don’t. Personally, I do not give a rat’s rump what they say anymore. Such accusations are a lefty, knee-jerk reaction. It’s like breathing to them; they say it without even thinking about it.

        Proverbs 29:11 – A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise [man] keepeth it in till afterwards.

        Matthew 5:22 – But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

        • Tre

          Obviously MSNBC reporters are not wise. They say all that is on their minds. Out of one side of their mouths they attack Mitt Romney for having a black grandchild, then out of the other side they say Conservatives hate bi-racial families. That brings to mind another verse;

          James 1:8
          8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

    “We’re not racists.”

    And then think about race while digging up photos of some families, to point out they have someone different.

    • Michelle ✓classified

      And what are the circumstances for “them” digging up photos of multiracial families?

      • nc ✓s & balances

        No, no Michelle. WD and his ilk wants us to ignore the slander and the taunts. That will make it all go away, right?

        Or, maybe we’re CAUSING the slander and the taunts, hmm?

        Pointing out a family having someone different is exactly what MHP did to the Romneys. And that’s what these photos do.

        “Look, guys, they got a black person in their family.”

        We are families, who cares what we look like?

        • Michelle ✓classified

          Who cares? Go ask the employees at MSNBC. From where I see things, I don’t see one Republican or Conservative family bringing up their mixed race marriages and or children unless someone on the Left makes an issue of it.

          That’s total garbage for you to bring up the idea these families think in terms of race. They clearly do not. When you see them “digging up photos” it’s in response to someone on the Left trying to put forth and/or perpetuate the idea that Republicans are against mixed race families.

          I’m losing a lot of faith in you WhoDat, you are seemingly very dense lately.

          • WhoDat

            I am not saying these individual families are thinking in terms of race.

            I am trying to say that this post, this collection of tweets, just screams, “Look, they have someone in their family who looks different.”

            And, to me, pointing out someone’s race is racism.

            There’s racists on every side and it’s wrong.

          • Michelle ✓classified

            We’re back at Square One WD. WHY are they doing that?

          • WhoDat

            Because some jackass said that “right wingers” won’t like a Cheerios commercial.

            It was wrong to label all conservatives in that way, much like it is wrong to say all liberals are racists.

          • Corey Dennison

            pointing out someone’s race is racism.

          • NRPax

            pointing out someone’s race is racism.

            Really? So pointing out that someone is black, white, other in a conversation, even if you are describing them, is racist?

            How adorable.

          • DwellsInFire

            WhoDat: “And, to me, pointing out someone’s race is racism.”

            Racism / Racist are words liberals should never be allowed to use since they spew them out every chance that can and don’t know definition of them. Making a factual statement about somebody’s race isn’t racism. Racism is the belief one race is superior to another.

          • H50 ✓RAT

            I suppose you believe that when a bully punches you in the face you should just say thank you and not defend yourself. You cannot possibly be this stupid.

          • M C

            Michelle you speak loudly but you are not always correct. In this case your response though well written is the “garbage” in which you were referencing i hope. When you post a pic of your family and friends which include a minority, just for that purpose, it means you are the one that has to show race and point to it. Families are just that, you do not have to show me a picture of your black son for your political posturing. Its not right and this thread/story is pretty offensive now that people are being used like pawns to prove points. All bc of what they look like.

          • Michelle ✓classified

            Oh, OK. And yet another who doesn’t understand what this post is all about or why those families posted those pictures. I speak loudly? You must be using a text-to-audio device in which case, you might want to turn the volume down.

          • M C

            It is you Michelle that is missing the point of what this is “all about”. You are the one that must understand why they posted the pictures. To use their friends and family to prove a point. It is a “look at us” mentality to try to defend themselves against a stereotype. There is nothing more to understand beyond that.

            When i say you speak loudly on a topic, i am referring to your constant posting and and often divided positions. You want to be noticed. It is clear to me in the redundant content in your posts throughout the sites threads.

            It is only my opinion but i am entitled to it.

        • Corey Dennison

          who cares what we look like?

        • Corey Dennison

          Pointing out a family having someone different is exactly what MHP did to the Romneys.

          I missed the part where all of these conservatives who posted pictures of their families laughed at their loved ones and referred to them as ‘tokens.’ Could you point it out, please? Then it will be exactly what MHP did.

          You’re really struggling on this one, WhoDat.

    • Jer

      Were you born that stupid? Or did you take some kind of vocational training to get there? I don’t have to “dig up” photos of multiracial families. Every photo of my family is of a multiracial family. Idiot. Once a year I allow myself to feed a troll. Now I’m already done for 2014.

      • WhoDat

        Every photo of 99% of American families are multiracial. But, do we need to say why it’s that way?

        • Michelle ✓classified

      If a conservative says nothing and just lives their lives, while ‘ignoring’ the racist/bigoted comments of the left, that lets the comments stand as some sort of ‘truth’. It’s been like that for a very long time. But now when they open their mouths and say ‘look you jack wagons, you’ve got it wrong’ then they’re being racist?

      No, what it means is that the right is bone tired of the blatantly untrue comments coming from the left. We’ve been called every name in the book and then some. Meanwhile, we’re really just average decent people living average lives.

      • Michelle ✓classified

        I saw that clip also and most unfortunately, Liberal idiots with a talk show analyzed that interview among their “panel of experts” and painted the picture that the hate and racism spewed at Mrs. Housley is coming from the Right. Now, we all know that to be total bullcrap. Anyone with access to Twitter knows darn well the hate being thrown at her for being married to a white man who also works for Fox comes from those ever loving, tolerant and accepting Liberals.

  • Maxwell

    If liberals were truly color blind, they wouldn’t point out how great it is that Cheerios’ ad features a biracial family. They would just see it as everyday normal.

  • Beth Gregg

    I have a bi-racial family also. We live in the south and there are more bi-racial families than… You could throw a stick at. This is why I have felt a bit confused that this is still — what’s the word? — a non-issue that can still be used as an issue!? Of course, all these families are not conservative but as far as the racial tension which has been so greatly elevated in the last few years this “issue” of libs harping on it always baffles me. I can’t grasp why this is still an issue!! Our society seems pretty colorblind… We’ll, until someone continually says that we’re not.

  • Mr_Wrestling_XIII

    Really? What decade does BSNBC think it is? Where they think a commercial with a biracial family is so risque.

  • SupplyGuy

    I would say that I’m in a biracial marriage because my wife is of Asian descent, but liberals would disagree because they think that all Asians are white man’s whores. In their eyes there are only two races, white and black. Even Hispanics they try to call white, at least when they kill black thugs in self defense.

    Idiots like Obama have been indoctrinated in the old Afrocentric anti imperialism mantra the communists formulated in the sixties. Too many young college students were swayed by these silly ideas and joined the sad movement.

    Look at Obama, he has to watch his mother get knocked up by a black man, then abandon them. Then he has to endure watching his mother get used and abused by black men for years. All the while he wonders who his daddy is while being indoctrinated by blacks who suffer from this communist ideology. Add to this while he is being indoctrinated he has to watch these white people provide for him everything he needs to survive. Later he will be handed accolades that he knows in his heart he has not earned.

    The poor petulant little boy is so conflicted he has to be angry so he expresses that anger at the whites who showed him love and care because they confuse him.

    All of the people mentioned do practice racism. I also recall how McCain’s adopted daughter was subjected to racism by McCain’s own party. Remember,how McCain was said to have fathered black baby by the Bush team,fellow republicans.

    More proof nobody’s watching MSNBC and their desperation is ratcheting up so high they make Howard Stern seem pious; nobody believes them either. Sadly, this network makes a joke out of honest journalism and they should be laughed to scorn and out of business.

    Love the “Editor’s note”. Please use it as needed.

    There have been too many MSNBC race-baits to believe that anyone there is truly repentant.

    Anyone who equates ideology and race is a racist. The reason liberalism is preoccupied with “race” is that it views individuals as mere examples of groups; conservatism views groups as mere collections of individuals.

    It is time to hurt MSNBC where it counts, with an organized boycott of MSNBC advertisers. Unfortunately, that means someone has to watch it, in order to know who advertises on it.

    Just don’t watch MsNBC or NBC. Don’t go stand outside the “Today Show” and wave like an idiot. Don’t watch their prime-time or sports and make sure you write the companies who advertise on their networks and let them know what and why you are doing it. And while you’re at it, dump comcast for an alternate and stop buying GE products; particularly appliances. THEY own that sordid detestable network. Oh, and if you go to the movies (I’d skip them if I were you), avoid anything done by Universal Pictures. It’s owned by the same cabal that owns MsNBC.

    We have the economic power, not those left wing lunatics who infest the networks, law offices, government buildings, universities, and welfare roles. It’s time we start USING it for real change. ACTION, not words!
