South Park’s first episode of this season took on ultra-liberal actor Alec Baldwin, and tweeters raved over the obliteration he received at the hands of Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The storyline revolves around a new social media platform that shares the user’s thoughts instantly. Given Baldwin’s crazed escapades on Twitter, he was an easy target.

Many Twitter users asked Baldwin to respond, but so far his account is keeping quiet. For now, maybe he’s actually listening to the MSNBC president who told him to tone down his Twitter feed, but it’s just a matter of time before another meltdown.

  • Guest

And next week South Park will mock Cruz and everyone will outrage.

    • ARandKsmommy

You can bet on it. We like Senator Cruz. Besides if libs can be outraged over every little thing so can cons. It’s the only way to be fair right?

    • Herbert Rex Shanahan III

      Doubt it, troll.

    • brando

Only because they’re one of the few shows to make fun of all political perspectives, unlike MacFarlane or Matt Groening.

    • PD Dave

So what’s your point, Baldwin is NOT a ridiculous douchebag? That’s what’s great about SP–they make fun of everybody not just conservatives as on Family Guy or Simpsons.

      • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

And, unlike the latter two shows, South Park still knows how to be funny.

        • Daddy-Government Knows Best

Not trying to insult anyone, but Family Guy seems to be a show for people with low IQs. The humor reminds me of only one notch above the “butts f*rting” entertainment in the movie Idiocricy.

        • Rebecca Brasher Counts

I have no problem with humor when equally applied . There is something funny about everyone . It is when people think they oh so smart , funny and oh so very intellectual but all they can do is bash one side , the conservatives , it becomes boring and lacks any real skill or true sense of humor .

      • Fred Doninger

Instead of a douche could he be a turd sandwich?

      • Hiraghm

        or American Dad.

      • Kdiity

Baldwin is a loud mouth, clueless and idiotic liberal douchebag. What planet are you from?

        • PD Dave

Please note question mark at the end of that statement. It’s an important distinction on my planet!

          • Kdiity

Oooops ! My bad ! Welcome to earth lol

    • NRPax

And when it doesn’t happen, I’m sure you’ll be here to admit you were wrong…

Oh wait. You’re a coward hiding behind a Guest name so you’re covered.

      • Ty in TX ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Methinks you just called out Downtwinkles the down voting troll.

        • NRPax

I’d feel bad about that except I save my compassion for people.

          • Ty in TX ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

    • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

If they do, I won’t be outraged. One of my favorite episodes is when Cartman becomes student body president after doing a Glenn Beck-style show.

      Now, what were you saying?

    • Orwellian_Dilemma

It depends on whether it’s offensive and funny or simply offensive.

      • Graham Shaw

Amen, there’s also a line between being offensive and making a point and being offensive for the sake of being offensive.

    • Maxwell

Hmm… not really. They spread mockery around evenly, similar to Dave Cheppelle, and, to a lesser extent, Daniel Tosh, so I won’t be too particularly offended.

When, and if, they make fun of Ted Cruz, it will be because there’s actual comedy to be had there, not because they want to mock a conservative.

    • Andy from Beaverton

      Won’t happen, keep dreaming

      • Caves45

Is that Jacks wife Avery Jessup ? Ha

    • ARandKsmommy

If we are then we have just as much right to our outrage as libs do. If they do I’ll make sure to be completely outraged. Difference is I’ll own up to it and take the heat.

    • Diane Stephan

South Park mocks EVERYBODY. That’s why I love that show, equal opportunity offenders.
They mocked Baldwin in Team America and all the members of FAG (film actors guild).

      • Hiraghm

Didn’t they once mock South Park?

      • Caves45

One of the only movies where i laughed so hard that i couldn’t control my bodily functions .

    • Mama Bear

Hiding behind the “guest” tag, I see. Coward.

    • Hiraghm

I’m gonna beat the crowd and start outraging now. On the inside… yeah… that’s it… on the inside…

    • factsobill

Your mama’s calling ,slacker! No sense of humor if it’s your ox being gored, huh? You people amuse me!

    • Kdiity

Hey Guest, maybe they can mock you and you’re idiotic, insidious and clueless liberal ways ! But then again, you’re a NOBODY so it won’t happen. Dang it all !!

    • ObamaFail

Doubtful. THis week was government related issues, next week will be something else. But I bet if they said anything about Obamacare being bad, you libs would be demanding the execution of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s children.

South Park pegged you liberals hard though last night. When Butters was praying to the government and Barack Obama, it was hilarious because you liberal scumbags act like Obama is a God. BTW, Obama leaves office in 2017, so you libs need to remember not to commit mass suicide because your “God” isn’t getting a lifetime stay.

    • irishgirl91

SP mocks hypocrites. You can find them with an R after their names as well as a D. I personally think Cruz is not mockable in that regard, though he is open to some poking because of the speech. Most people can laugh I don’t know where you trolls come off thinking we don’t have a sense of humor. After all, PC in your invention, not ours.

    • spoonman_red

…and?? like the right cares, the right is used to it and has proved thick skin, they don’t get passes like your boy here!

  • Jake Wilde

South Park is about the only comedy not compromised by ideology. They make fun of everyone and everything and I love them for it!

    • Magnifico

I find them to lean right in a big way. They’re foul though, so a lot of conservatives get the wrong idea.

      • Ben Bollman

I don’t know if it is so much that they lean right as it is that there is much more to make fun of on the left.

        • TugboatPhil ✓Mate

Correct. SP is willing to trash the sacred cows of the left with no mercy, which might cause one to think they lean right. Some of their shows I can’t take. When that happens, I do something really weird. I change the channel.

          • Ben Bollman

I do think Matt and Trey are probably libertarian-ish. They are definitely anti-establishment. I found it funny when Roger Ebert reviewed Team America: World Police that he couldn’t figure out why they made fun of both Bush and Matt Damon(which was hilarious). Liberals are so out of touch.

          • TugboatPhil ✓Mate

I love Team America, yet am still disturbed by marionette sex.

          • World B. Free

Especially the scatological part. Definitely not a kid’s movie!

          • Hiraghm

Actually, I was kinda turned on by marionette sex… which I found very disturbing…

          • TN05

They are libertarians… They go after liberals more because they hate liberals more than conservatives (although they say they hate both).

          • Maxwell

They said they do trash the left more than the right simply because it’s different. They said that everyone out there has made Sarah Palin jokes, so there’s nothing new there.

Although, I find they are pretty fair in spreading their mockery, which is nice.

          • Jake Wilde

No one is exempt from their humor. I can see someone thinking they lean right, but you’re right Ben, there is just more to make fun of from that spectrum, I’d say Libertarian leanings myself or it would be skewed one way or the other. We live near Evergreen and Heritage schools where they attended. I guess they met at CU Boulder. — Parker is a self-professed Libertarian

          • Jake Wilde

I found a spot where they both used to be GOP but have lost faith. Parker is Libertarian self-professed. They said that they hate everyone, they just hate libs a lot more than conservatives.

          • Dee

They DESPISE actors (99% libs)! That’s what I saw years ago on the Team America “behind the scenes” as one of the reasons they used marionettes. Plus, they showed up at the Acadamy Awards mocking the whole thing by wearing gowns and makeup, which was beautiful, since it’s really a joke and not to be taken seriously. So glad they weren’t in suits.

          • Hiraghm

OMG… you PERVERT WEIRDO! The channel up/down buttons on the remote are DECORATIVE ONLY!

            (just teasing, of course).

        • marylandman

Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Steve King, and many, many more beg to differ.

          • Ben Bollman

Show me where I said that they didn’t make fun of Republicans(in fact I even pointed out that they made fun of Bush). Like most liberals your reading comprehension skills are lacking.

          • marylandman

            “Like most liberals…”

Only children and partisan idiots make generalizations like that.

And it’s rather ironic you would ridicule my reading comprehension skills. You said there is “much more to make fun of on the left.” I disagreed with your statement and provided just a few examples of comedic gold on the right. Simple enough for you to follow now?

But seriously, relax with the ideological hate. Just because both sides have much to make fun of doesn’t make either one more right or wrong. I’ll gladly admit that the left has much to make fun of. For you to deny that the right has laughable elements as well is just silly.

          • Ben Bollman

I’m waiting on you to show me where I said they didn’t make fun of Republicans and now show me where I said there was nothing to make fun of about Republicans. My statement about your reading comprehension skills or lack thereof still stands and has been reinforced by your last comment, thank you very much.

            Oh, and uh… hoo.

          • marylandman

I’m impressed by your stupidity. Never once did I contend that you said “they didn’t make fun of Republicans.” Never. So why are you acting as if I said that?

You said there is more to make fun of on the left. I disagreed, and cited a few hilarious Republican politicians.

What is so hard for you to understand about that? It’s incredibly straightforward yet you’re really struggling to understand it.

I actually pity you. Too stupid to understand simple conversation and completely blinded by ideological hate. Most rational adults can separate personality and intelligence from political ideology. Apparently your parents never taught you that people are individuals and that people are not defined by their political beliefs. Sad, really. You have my pity.

          • Ben Bollman

            Still waiting….

          • marylandman

            Still? You still don’t understand?

Let me break it down as I would if you were a 4-year-old child and see if that helps.

You said there is “much more to make fun of on the left.”

I disagreed. I provided examples of humorous politicians on the right, and said they “beg to differ.”

When I used the phrase “beg to differ,” I was referring to your statement that there is “more to make fun of on the left.” That should be clear to anyone who reads above a third grade level.

At no point did I contend that you said “South Park doesn’t make fun of Republicans.” In fact, I wasn’t even referring to South Park. I was referring to the part of your post that said there is “much more to make fun of on the left.” The politicians I named have never been ridiculed on South Park. Even when Palin was on SP, she was an intelligent British woman. I was clearly using them as counter examples to your claim that there is “much more to make fun of on the left.”

Is that simple enough for you? If you still can’t understand that, I really don’t know what to tell you.

You are an impressively stupid person. It might be time for you to go back and get your GED, bud.

It’s also really sad that you think you’re somehow superior to all liberals. Most people realize that ideological groups are diverse. That people are all individuals. Sadly, no one ever taught you that. I blame your failures of parents. It’s pathetic that you have a need to judge an entire group of people just to feel superior. You really do have my pity.

          • Ben Bollman

The very fact that you believe in the liberal ideology is enough for me to know that I am superior because it is a failed ideology and those who believe in it are morons.

          • Kdiity

And you probably love martin” I Love Taxing MD lib Idiots ” owe’malley ! Shows how much credence your statement has !!

          • marylandman

            Why so angry?

      • marylandman

“Ripping on Republicans is not that fun for us only because everyone else does it. It’s so much more fun for us to rip on liberals only because nobody else does it, and not because we think liberals are worse than Republicans but, just because…” – Matt Stone

        • Magnifico

  • Guest

I missed it. Does ManBearPig put in an appearance?

    • TugboatPhil ✓Mate

No. But Alec Baldwin is hawking a new social media service that goes beyond Twitter. Electrodes are implanted into the skull and the person’s thoughts are transmitted audibly to other “subscribers.” The service is called Sh*tter.

At different times during the show, Baldwin is in public settings and his insane thoughts are broadcast for all to hear, but he seems oblivious. The only other subscriber is Cartman. Baldwin is having dinner in a restaurant and his lady friend hears Cartman’s voice coming from Baldwin.

She asks, “Who’s that?” Baldwin replies, “It’s a little fa**ot inside my head.” Which wouldn’t be all that funny, if it weren’t totally believable.

  • Jack Deth

Alec Baldwin’s thoughts were the funniest thing on ‘South Park’ last night!

Though the Joe Friday/’Dragnet’ parody plot line with Cartman had its moments, too.

Remarkably fresh idea of wiring Santa Clause to an NSA Cray computer gets high points as well.

  • Guest

well remember, Trey & Matt did ‘Team America’, and in that movie the puppet Alec Baldwin gets his head blown off by Kim Jung Il who shouts ‘you are use-ress Arec Barwin!’

    • liberalssuck

      That was classic, roflmao!!

I have to admit, Baldwin is a genius, He throws up a comment playing the Devil’s advocate on any subject, and all of you go nuts and play right into his hand! He feeds on watching how people react after he pushes your buttons. He hits the button and you all dance for him! Why?

“I’m not homophobic, my thumbs are homophobic.” Baldwin cuts thumbs off, and later you hear multiple thoughts on his Sh!tter that use derogatory remarks about gay people. Liberals love when their side is homophobic or racist.

Ah, Alec Baldwin and the Film Actors Guild. Gotta love Trey and Matt.
