'Empty words': Samantha Power's apology for this Obama-era offense is 'too little, too late'

Today marks the 102nd anniversary of the start of the Armenian Genocide. And, after eight years of President Obama refusing to call it a genocide, Samantha Power, his ambassador to the U.N. is finally speaking up:

After all this time, Power’s apology indeed rings hollow. Unfortunately, it looks like those hoping for an American presidential administration to call the Armenian Genocide a genocide are going to have to continue to wait:

The Trump administration could learn a great deal from Ronald Reagan. Calling a genocide what it is would be a good start.
