President Trump on Monday reinstated the “Mexico City policy,” which bans U.S. foreign aid from any groups that provide abortions.
He issued the order on Jan. 23, one day after the 44th anniversary of the Supreme Court‘s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.

Also known as the “global gag rule,” the policy restricts non-governmental organizations getting U.S. Agency for International Development funds from using their own dollars to provide abortions. They’re also prohibited from lobbying for abortion rights or providing patients with abortion referrals.

It’s amazing, really. All that purported concern for women’s lives and yet to her, unborn children (many of whom are yes, women) are nothing more than a burden leading “to all other sorts of violent and dangerous outcomes.”
Ms. Valenti said it last week when she was pitching a fit about pro-lifers wanting to participate in the Women’s March on Washington: “Abortion is central” to feminism.
