‘What a farce!’ RNC just pulled some SERIOUSLY shady crap with the D.C. delegation

This system seems pretty rigged to me.

— Steven Shepard (@POLITICO_Steve) July 19, 2016

Un. Freaking. Believable.

After the D.C. delegation demanded a roll call vote and announced its vote allocation:

District of Columbia delegates give their votes to Rubio and Kasich. None for Trump. #RNCinCLE

— Tulsa's Channel 8 (@KTULNews) July 19, 2016

The RNC decided it knew better:

The chair then CHANGES the DC vote – and makes it 19 for Trump

Convention secretary awards all 19 DC votes to Trump despite DC vote

— Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) July 19, 2016

D.C. booed as they cast 10 for Rubio and 9 for Kasich. Convention overrules and gives all 19 to Trump.

Beg your pardon?

How did secretary give all DC votes to Trump?

— Philip Klein (@philipaklein) July 19, 2016

Trump got under 14% of the vote in DC, but 100% of the delegates.

Can’t let rules stand in the way of crowning the Orange Messiah, right?

WTH?!?!

So the RNC just gave Trump 19 votes he didn't win. It's a farce.

— Drew McCoy (@_Drew_McCoy_) July 19, 2016

Farce is right.

DC GOP didn't elect a single delegate for Trump, but RNC rule just gave all 19 to him. GOP delegate is furious #RNCinCLE

Lol you thought your votes mattered. Sad! https://t.co/G722N9r5d1

— Ben Domenech (@bdomenech) July 19, 2016

What is the point to this? Trump is obviously going to win w/o faking the vote, but they fake the vote anyway https://t.co/WFckYZQH2T

You got to be /f'n kidding me….Larceny!

— VanSnap Sports News© (@e_vansmack) July 19, 2016

Good for DC for trying, I guess. They cast their votes against Trump and the chair was like, nah. #RNCinCLE

— Corie Whalen (@CorieWhalen) July 19, 2016

Well, you tried, D.C. https://t.co/XmFpvC7P93
