What odds is Vegas offering that Hillary will walk out in a huff mid-interview?

    • nc ✓s & balances

“Mid-interview?” You really think she’ll show up at all?

We should have a pool on what the excuse will be.

      • conservativechick

I bet she shows up. It’s a set up, guaranteed. Everything these people do is calculated. There will be no surprises or stunning revelations. Fox will just end up being the bad guy in the war on women. (remember after the oversight hearings, instead of covering the scandal, all the media could talk about was Cummings being disrespected by Issa and that became the story)

        • Hot_wings

Remember the Tim Russert interview from ’07 ? LOL ! This should be priceless too!

    • conservativechick

What are the odds that other news media are all outraged, right after her interview, by how unfair Fox was to Hillary? Does anyone else think she will want to review the questions first? Will we know if she sees them ahead of time? It probably won’t matter anyway. I bet she is more than ready with avoidance answers to most of the important questions we all want answered anyway!

      • GaryTheBrave

“Good evening. I’m Bret Baier. Tonight both Greta Van Sustern and I are interviewing Hillary Clinton live. Mrs. Clinton’s people asked to see and approve the questions. We allowed that. Once they selected the questions we threw them out and kept the rest.

Welcome to our studio, Secretary Clinton.”

        • conservativechick

Now you know she’ “preparing” for this interview. She had a secret lunch with Obama NOT on his schedule? hmmmm

    • Republicanvet

What I find pathetic about this whole thread is the idea that Greta or Brett may be too harsh on her causing her to walk out.

Why is it any media considered slightly right has to walk on egg shells when interviewing one of the anointed leftists? When was the last time some leftist like Pelosi deigned to interview with Fox?

Does any leftist media act this way?

Look at that Cow Crowley helping Obama during the debates. Look at Dan Rather. Look at how Sam Donaldson was. Or that nasty old Helen Thomas. None of them would have worried about whether they might be too harsh on someone on the right.

Anything other than a totally fawning interview, and the left will whine loudly. Even slightly uncomfortable questions and they will whine, then laud Killery for how well she handled it.

      • TooOldToBeCool

Which was kinda my point. During the last election, Dianne Feinstein simply stood up and walked out of an interview when asked a question she didn’t like – and IIRC it was a live interview.

  • Mark1971

Why do people think this will be a tough interview? Rupert Murdoch has hosted fundraisers for Hillary Clinton.

    • ceemack

      Two words–“Bret” and “Baier”.

      • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

Actually it should say “Bret ” and “Greta”

        • ceemack

I don’t expect Greta to be that tough.

          • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

Maybe she’ll surprise us. Too bad it’s not Bret and Megan Kelly. She’d rip Shrillary to shreds, while looking faboo!

        • TomJB

You mean she couldn’t negotiate it being done by Juan Williams and Bob Beckel?

    • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

I’d like to see Stacey Dash do the interview purely so she couldn’t yell about being grilled by a white male.

  • Acuda4me ✓Please!

I’m guessing she goes off on them the way Bill did with Chris Wallace a few years ago.

  • CableNewsGuy

Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren both have June 17th off, Bob Beckel and Juan Williams will be hosting that day👌

  • Steve__Jacobson

I don’t expect any tough question from either of them.

  • Kawfy

I’ll pull a “Boehner” and reserve judgement

  • Barry A. Brewer

Not just Fox, but Bret AND Greta? Hitlery better wear her rubber pantsuit that day

    • SFfam

Don’t get too excited. Hillary and Greta are actually good friends. -_- Hopefully Bret will come through. I’m sure she only agreed to do it if Greta would be there to protect her.

  • mrspinky85

I say let a female do it. So she can’t cry for Fox being too mean. I don’t think this will be good journalism and even if it is the left will chop it up or rag on the interviewer.
I do give her credit for doing it but I think it will be as bad as Obama and his smidgen interview with O’Reilly.

  • Republicanvet

Killery is running. This makes it official. What better way for the Clintons to put dirty laundry behind them than to go on Fox, avoid a few hard ball questions, give flimsy answers to others, monopolize time, filibuster and maybe look slightly bad in some answer…then go for the sympathy and talk about being a granny…and for the next several months, claim any issue has been addressed or old news?

    • mrspinky85

I hope she does run and she is crushed. The left believes that they have elections in their back pocket and a blow strong to Clinton would be great. However, if its Hillary versus Bush, I will forever know that this who process is rigged.

  • Dexter Alarius

Megan Kelly should be doing it.

    • haI9000

      Or maybe Judge Jeanine Pirro.

  • Mary Mommy Happy 2016!

I predict that liberals will cry sexism and claim fox is being a political bully. when Fox dare to ask Hillary any tough hard questions.

Then I see that Greta Van Susteren will interview Hillary and now know nothing will be said but soft ball questions.

  • ee1774

Well then…….let’s propose a few questions of our own, shall we?

    – What would you say to the millions who’ve lost coverage due to Obamacare?
    – Do you regret being a supporter of Obamacare?
    – Why don’t you feel our borders should be secure?
    – Why do you feel it is appropriate for the President to bypass Congress to change laws so that they suit his agenda?
    – As a wealthy white woman, how do you justify lecturing others on income inequality?

    • AT

      “Never happened.”
“I’m a supporter of the Affordable Care Act, thank you.”
“They are. Our primary concern should be with feeding and sheltering the DREAMers that want to come to America.”
“Well, the Constitution is a fluid document that must be adapted for the immediate needs in government progress against an obstructionist GOP, which is clearly in the Koch Bros pocket.”
“I didn’t build that. It took a village.”

    • Mary Mommy Happy 2016!

Hillary usual responses to tough questions.

      I don’t recall.

      What difference does it makes?

I’m deeply sorry for unfortunate incidents that occur and was not intentional regarding insert any failures that Hillary is criticize for.

    • Republicanvet

      That should be a hashtag…#QuestionsforKillery.

  • Taxpayer1234

Why why WHYYYYY is Greta doing the interview? She lobs softballs as often as BabaWawa.

    • nc ✓s & balances

Are you kidding? Greta is a great interviewer.

      • Sherry

her last interview with Hillary was so soft it wasn’t funny. It was not a great interview by any stretch of the imagination.

        • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

They might as well hit her with the toughest questions they can come up with. She’ll go right from the interview to complaining about how mean they were to her just like Obama did.

      • Taxpayer1234

        Meh.

      • SFfam

Greta and Hillary are good friends. In her last interview, she talked about how close she was with Hillary’s mom. ??????? I found it odd to bring up in the interview, but they did (I think Greta did).

  • Sherry

She’s been interviewed by them before. Greta Van Susteren interviewed her last year and it was like watching a girls slumber party….extremely disappointing.
    http://foxnewsinsider.com/2013/01/29/hillary-clinton-goes-on-the-record-about-benghazi-ever-since-the-bush-administration-our-requests-for-security-money-havent-been-met

  • ee1774

    My suggestions for interviewers:
People who’ve lost their health insurance…
    Families/relatives of Benghazi victims….

    Sheriff Joe Arpaio…….

    • Republicanvet

My question for Killery, can you speak to the thinking in your campaign in 2008 that suggested Obama was not a legal US resident?

Do you foresee any kind of pitfalls like that in the next Presidential election?

  • MinnesotaSlims

Bret will not back down, that much is sure.

Greta will do a fairly good job too, but Bret can be a bear if he needs.

  • LegalizeShemp

Fox News will ask tough questions, then Fox News will be accused of picking on a woman in 3….2……1

  • WhoMeToo

Countdown to Killary falling and hitting her head prior to interview….4…3…2…

  • Michael Armstrong

I’d much rather have Megyn Kelly interview Hillary

    • ceemack

Yeah, but putting that much beauty so close to that much ugliness might create a rift in the space-time continuum.

      • nibblesyble

        lol!

  • Hotlanta Mike
  • FaithColeridge33

I’m sure there are a million and one ground rules that Hillary gave out. They will be followed. It won’t be hard hitting. It’s just like when Bill O’Reilly would get an interview with Obama. Bill suddenly wasn’t so tough. I’m not even a professional journalist and I could ask questions and have a demeanor that would shred Hillary’s narrative beyond repair. Anyone could have. For years. Yet she’s still here.

I would start the interview with a brief tape of her standing in front of the coffins speaking, I would then turn to her and say: “Mrs. Clinton, do you still think a YouTube video was the root cause of one of your ambassadors being assassinated?”.

That would just be the start.

    • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

You’re right about the ground rules for the interview. That was my first thought too, when I saw the headline. Anything tougher than “What color is your favorite pantsuit?”, or “May I have your cookie recipe”, and she’s outta there.

      • FaithColeridge33

You can play a drinking game that night and get really drunk. Every time the question starts with the softball intro of “in your book you say…..” That way the whole interview is Hillary’s narrative and that’s what she demanded for the interview and that’s what she’ll get.

        • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

4 1/2 years sober, so drinking’s out. Maybe I can substitute donut holes and go for a sugar buzz instead? 😉 😀

          • GaryTheBrave

            Congrats. Keep it up.

          • FaithColeridge33

Come on over and watch it at our house. Let me be the one to welcome you back…LOL anyway congrats…

          • Hot_wings

I quit drinking too when I found out I had Diabetes last year! Which means donut holes are out too! UGH ! What game can I play ?

          • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

Actually, I’m diabetic too. I’ve got it well controlled with diet and oral medication, so I can cheat once in a great while. I would suggest that there are a number of good sugar-free goodies at most bakeries. If I might suggest a naughty way to have fun, you and your significant other set up two lists of two columns of “buzz words”. Mix them up evenly, and each take a list. When a buzz word in column “A” sounds, take off a piece of clothing. When “B” column pops up put one piece of clothing back on. But start at the top and go in order without skipping around. It doesn’t matter who ends up nekkid first, you both win!!! 😉 ;-P

          • Hot_wings

That’s cool ! My wife is diabetic too. So we could play, and not cheat. Of course we do cheat occasionally too anyway (on diets I mean lol )

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Greta van Susteren was a trial lawyer by profession before turning, in her 40’s, to working as a TV host. One would imagine she’d still have her instincts as to trying to lock someone into a story (what you do when you conduct pre-trial depositions of the other litigant in a lawsuit), a story that, after the deposition, can often sound like Jon Lovitz as the Pathological Liar had been telling it: “So– it’s your contention, Mrs Clinton, that yadda da yadda dee, despite the contrary evidence– just so we’ve got you right, here…” “Yes– that’s my story, and I’m gonna stick to it, see?”

      • FaithColeridge33

She can and she has the skills. Both orally and in writing. My point is she won’t. Watch. it will be an “In your book you say. . . ” type of interview. It’s a 1/2 interview between two shows. With commercials and the segue between shows the actually interview will be about 17 minutes. Then she will have the bragging rights of “I’ve already faced a tough media”. Just the way it goes.

        • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I was thinking more like, it will look as if Greta’s feeding Hillary straight lines for Hillary to do the talking points, but the choice of which talking points Hillary will be allowed to expound on might not necessarily be the easiest for Hil to sound convincing on. At best, Greta will only get to muss Hil’s hair a little bit– that’s how these things go– but Greta has a professional reputation to uphold, too, and doesn’t want to be seen to be throwing herself at Hil’s feet.

        • betzinva

What about Bret Baier, are you expecting him to softball her?

          • FaithColeridge33

Medium ball. He’ll get the on questions about Benghazi that Hillary agreed too. It won’t be tough though.

          • betzinva

Guess I’ll reserve judgment ’til after the interview. The time is too short, and the format is odd. I’m definitely not expecting any groundbreaking.

  • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

    Suggested interview questions:

How much do you think your white privilege will affect your chances to win the election?
Will your victimhood as a woman cancel out your white privilege?
Will you be hiring people to drive busloads of other geriatric people to polling places to vote for you?
Do you believe that it is empowering to women to accept that your husband cannot honor his marriage contract with you and let him continue to cheat on you in order to further your political career?
Have you improved your sense of ethics and relationship with the truth since Watergate?

    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/925684/posts

  • Steve in Katy

She will need a transcript of all questions asked before the interview.

  • http://youhavetobethistalltogoonthisride.blogspot.com/ keyboard jockey

I have a question for Hillary Clinton, just what steps does she think should be taken to restrict citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights?

  • DanielSFL

I think we can trust them to give her fair but tough questions, rather than the usual softball bullsh*t she’d receive anywhere else.

  • notenoughtime

Not worth the precious time to sit and watch Hill dodge and weave. After the interview, the Clinton minions will rally around Mama Hillary! No, thanks. We heard we need to know about her, so what difference does it make!

  • Hank_Scorpio

I highly doubt this will happen. Hillary’s demands will be too insane and Fox will balk. Then Hillary will say she tried to engage but was rebuffed…poor innocent Hillary…

  • chetnapier

The question i want asked .What have you learned about ethics since 1974

  • Anna E

Fox News goes too easy, Hilary wins.

Fox News goes too hard, Hilary wins.

    Damned if you do…

  • bicentennialguy

If this happens, it will be lie after lie with a few shrieks thrown in for emphasis. The clown act at a two-bit circus would be more informative.

  • Right Wired ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

      That and “I don’t remember….” or “I have no recollection…”

  • walterc

All I can say is “thank God it isn’t being conducted by O’Reilly. The way he soft balled Obama (both times) this would be like having it on MSNBC. Thank you FOX for giving it to a couple of journalists.

  • CoastalMaineBird

    Boxers or briefs?

  • Doug_Piranha

What difference at this point does it make?

  • Hotlanta Mike
  • Scott Anderson

It’ll be just as earth-shaking as when OReally rimjobbed the prez over his IRS crimes.

  • Jake Bradford

I’m not getting excited. Sean Hannity interviewing her would be interesting. It will probably be a tougher interview than The View though..

  • Al’s Annoyed Grandpa

I’d rather see Megan Kelley interview Mrs. Clinton.

  • JD Son

Great. A half hour to filibuster and obfuscate via Obama style on Fox. Even when O’Reilly interviewed Obama, he gave him an out. I suspect the same will happen here. I pray it will be otherwise, but I won’t get my hopes up.

  • http://www.davidsmusings.com/ David

And the ground rules must have already been established. No Benghazi, no Monica, no what did you accomplish as Sec. of State, no why are you running for president, etc.

  • Jerry Barnes

Fox news is all us righties have, but even they don’t go after the left as viciously as the left winged media attacks the right. You have to equally meet opposition with equal vigor… I’m praying that God delivers us from the road this country is headed down.
