People who like to call themselves “pro-choicers” have descended upon the Supreme Court today to protest the right of Christian-owned Hobby Lobby to not offer health care coverage for contraception that could kill a developing embryo.

Naturally, they’ve brought some of their best artwork with them:

I guess since Hobby Lobby is a Christian-owned franchise, they are obviously homophobic /sarc.

Yet obviously not, as they employ a gay man that is treated the same as any other employee.

If you pay close attention to anything that the left supports you will find them supporting the opposing argument in a different venue. It is mostly smoke and mirrors to disguise the true actions or diversions to sneak something else through Congress. It is easy to get the left into an up-roar for anything, so easy to manipulate them, Obama and the rest of his Commie Muslim Brotherhooders are haveing a blast.

What if two lesbians paid for sperm from a bank to get pregnant and then got a divorce? Could the pregnant lesbian have an abortion or could the other lesbian sue for damaged property? Just wondering what the liberal position would be?

        Proabortion or Progay?

        • rhondacivic

It’ll be pro-abortion over progay. I’d say they’d probably only allow the suing woman to claim the money back that she put in but not the right to force the carrying woman to have a baby. Courts don’t ever want to seem like they are forcing people to do anything with their bodies… that is….unless you’re a pedophile…or alcoholic….or drug addict…or, you know what fuck it – of course they do; just not about this.

oh yeah, the “raped” thing…though ironically most animals sent to market have never had sex (unless its an old tough used up dairy cow), it’s about how animals in captivity “have” to mate with whoever the farmer has them (or are artificially inseminated, so there’s no actual rape going on). However this is not actually rape, because animals don’t really have a choice even in nature (in the same way humans do, at least).

They are totally dismissing this Freedom of Religion lawsuit. What a bunch of ignorant, brainwashed idiots! We’ll gladly stay out of your bedroom but don’t make us pay for what happens there! You want pills, pay for them yourself. You want an abortion, pay for it! Neither has anything to do with a woman’s HEALTH. Do what you want, just leave me out of it! I have the right to freedom of choice, too. I choose NOT to pay for your choices!

    • thetreyman

i’ll bet most of these activist don’t even realize that HL is not even saying they wont include contraceptives in their health plans. they just don’t want to pay for abortions or pills that cause abortions. this is the same view as most christian denominations. besides, how many of these idiots will really be affected by this court decision either way. my guess is none.

    • Chris

I beg to differ, stay with me here, you will like my point. Abortion actually has a major affect on most women’s health. For some it is mental anguish, depression and things of that nature. For others, they have some physical problems, i.e. not being able to get pregnant later in life “when its their time”. I agree with you about all of that, I just had to throw my 2 cents in.

    • WhoDat

Meh, we all sometimes pay for stuff we find objectionable.

      • pinkelephant22

Not directly though. What if government wanted to force you to go to the ATM and deliver the money to the Koch Brothers?

      • Hey, That’s Pretty Good

Like when Conservatives objected to Obama sending money and arms to Al-Qaeda last year?

      • Ethanery

I believe that religious organizations shouldn’t have to provide insurance for abortifacients, but I don’t feel too strongly about it. The main thing that irks me is the slander and absolute vitriol this company has gone through for its stance against abortifacients. They have been painted as anti-women and have had to endure people claiming that they force women to go without birth control (complete and utter BS). I maintain that the employer should have some discretion in insurance when it comes to religious beliefs, and that the employee has the right to either attempt to change the owner’s mind, or locate another job where their demands are met.

Also, I feel that insurance paying for birth control, whether or not mandated by the government, is idiotic. Since birth control is available over-the-counter, the only thing insurance would do is jack up the prices. Involving a middleman where one is not needed always inflates costs. In people’s minds, the BC is free, but they don’t realize that the cost, with an additional charge that goes to the insurance company, is hidden in the insurance, so they end up paying more for a non-essential service in an attempt to make it free.

Edit: wording was a bit off before, so I fixed it.

      • Corey Dennison

Being forced by the government to do something contrary to your religious beliefs is a little more than simply ‘objectionable.’ That’s why we have this thing called the Bill of Rights.

No, but it does cover Freedom of Religion. You know, where the government shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion.

    • ButteryWench

Well, that would be progressive liberals. They’re so open minded about sex ya know.

  • $7329248

Well, since we don’t alter the Bible like the democrats have done with the dictionary over and over in the past 10 years, there’s never a chance in the world that our religion would segregate women that take a pill over those who don’t.

It’s funny that Christians can be forced to cover a pill to keep a woman from getting pregnant, but when they get pregnant Christians can’t force them to keep from having an abortion.

Pro-Choicers say that “including it in your insurance plan does not mean that anyone will actually use it.”

So you can be forced to go against your religion to carry a contraceptive that someone may or may not use to avoid pregnancy, but if they don’t use it and get pregnant after you offer it, you can’t force them to not have an abortion? Does that seem fair and balanced to you?

Pro-Choicers say that “if you want to lower the rate of abortion, then universal contraception should be your rallying cry.”

Jim Morrison said: “We must find a solution, instead of a way.” Your best rally cry is to tell women not to open and close their legs all day long like the fridge at Oprah’s house. Self respect, and responsibility. Something liberals know nothing about.

If it’s a woman’s body, and I have no say so over what she does with it, then I cannot be forced to have say so over what she would take to avoid the problems that come with a woman’s body. You cannot have it both ways.

    • mrspinky85

    Sometimes I think we’re doomed.

I wont post it cause I dont want to get deleted and end up on double secret probation tho.

  • Nahalban

Liberals they are just like real people only far far more idiotic.

  • http://twitter.com/starwarsfan107 Hayekguy

For every corporation that won’t provide birth control there’s at least 50 that will more than happily do so.

    • Nahalban

That’s fine whatever their conscience can bear but they shouldn’t be able to force a company to provide it.

      • http://twitter.com/starwarsfan107 Hayekguy

Exactly! I was making the point that leftists have nothing to complain about here. It’s not like birth control is being banned.

        • Nahalban

          agree. +1^

  • Emily Teachout Greenier

I wonder where all these anti hobby lobby protesters got their stuff to make their ridiculous signs and crochet uterus? Hobby Lobby?! HA

  • ledzepp8

I’m convinced that there’s some kind of alarm that only lefty protester nuts can hear, which goes off and they all assemble to protest against whatever nonsense is on their minds. WTF do half of those signs have to do with anything related to this? Forget about the fact that they make no sense. I somehow never got the memo that the butcher holds the cow down and screws it before he slaughters it for meat.

I really don’t see how Hobby Lobby can be mandated to provide these contraceptives “free” of charge. It’s not like they’re saying you can’t work for us if we find out you’ve used plan b. They just don’t want to be party to something they don’t agree with.

    • H50 ✓RAT

They already supply the contraceptives, they are fighting against being forced to supply the things that cause abortions. These idiots dont/refuse to get that.

      • ledzepp8

No I get it. Just that either way, women that work there aren’t being denied those types of contraceptives…Hobby Lobby just doesn’t want to foot the bill. Their employment isn’t contingent on them agreeing with Hobby Lobby’s stance. SCOTUS should rule in Hobby Lobby’s favor…but who knows what those people are thinking half the time.

        • H50 ✓RAT

Okie dokie, sorry need more coffee. ITA.
Another free market solution, if you dont like the benefits package at HL, go else where. If it were as important to their female employees as it were to these loons, HL wouldn’t have any female employees. Period.

          • ledzepp8

Exactly right. The minority opinion in these issues is always the loudest. As I said in a previous thread, we call employer provided health insurance a benefit for a reason. It’s a perk that employers started offering as part of compensation to lure workers to them rather than other jobs. This wasn’t something they were mandated to do, it was something they wanted to offer because they were in a position of being able to. Somewhere along the way we perverted that into some kind of requirement of a job.

  • Perry

Why is it always the ugly progressives telling people to stay out of their uterus? I mean, it’s not necessary!

          • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I like how you prefaced the link with “Not a parody,” BTW. See, we would be more likely to write it off as a gag meant to play to our “biases,” than some Lefties would be to write off a completely-incredible story about Sarah Palin from an avowedly-satirical site that engages in total fiction– which is what separates the sheeple from the goatle, I guess.

  • Terry West

I used to think that the people at these “rallies” were unemployed, but they’re not. They are in the sign making business. Not very good ones, but to each his own!

How many people posting on the Leftie blog comments section are mentioning how ridiculous and ragtag and nutjob-looking these idiots are, with their silly signs, crocheted uteri, and rainbow flags? Y’know, the way they consider “Teabaggers” to be ridiculous with THEIR signs, Gadsden flags, and tricornered hats? And how many Lefties are pooh-poohing the turnout by saying “They’re all bunched up in front of the camera to look like there’s a lot more than there really are, there!”?

These “people” can somehow decide that its okay for the govt to decide what their health insurance covers, what doctors they can see, and whether or not they can even have the healthcare they pay for,
and at the same time scream that Hobby Lobby is “in their uterus” when they don’t want to directly pay for their choices.

Wouldn’t that make you out of their uterus if you didn’t want to pay…?

  • mrspinky85

Vegans make me sick with the eating animals garbage. If you choose to not eat meat that is your choice. From biology class, I learned plants are living organisms too.

Below is my pro-choice response to the pro-life sign above
    Pro-Choice
    32 oz soda. Nope
    Trans-fat. Nope
    Submissive to Husband. Nope
Not want to pay for your birth control. Nope
Not wanting to send my tax dollars to foreign
    countries that hate us. Nope
    For traditional marriage. Nope
Not to serve people that are in a gay wedding. Nope
    To exercise religious freedom. Nope
    To own a gun/Rifle. Nope

    • Ms. Abigail van Beagle

They object to being submissive to a husband, yet they preach submission to men as part of their pro-abort gospel. They seem to think that it is their duty to sexually please any man who asks, without concern for whether they get pregnant or not. If they don’t want to minimize the guy’s pleasure by insisting on a condom or inconvenience the man by saying no, that is subservience to men on the lowest level.

      • mrspinky85

I never thought of it like that. But, I do love how they say men shouldn’t get a say in the abortion conversation unless it is a pro choice man. I wish I could find, but there was an article that talked about how women are actually giving power back to men. The get to have sex with women more disguised as freedom and support or not having to take responsibility for the children they make under the guise of women’s rights. I still can’t understand why to be empowerment mean we do like men.

Victor claims that when he confronted Johnny on these issues, Johnny would lavish him with purchases and beg forgiveness, only to repeat such conduct. Libs believe in evolution. Mammals, dolphins for example, will gang rape other members of their species. By these people’s logic, anyone who believes in evolution supports rape.

Well…male bottlenose dolphins will murder young bottlenose dolphins and porpoises. I guess pro-choicers could change their name to aquatically-challenged dolphins?

    • Cheryl Webb Clair

Now that’s funny when you consider most Christians don’t believe in evolution. It’s completely lost on the left. They just have to be angry about something all the time. It’s what pumps the blood in their cold little veins.

        • Cheryl Webb Clair

LOL I can understand that. Good for you for using Hobby Lobby. They are good people. I use to live in Texas and used them way more than Michaels. I always enjoyed shopping there.

      • tedlv

Cheryl, Tom may have been referring to the protesters, not to posters on this site.

        • Cheryl Webb Clair

Yes, he and I have talked.

  • Cheryl Webb Clair

The thing is, Hobby Lobby owners are not against birth control, they are against that little pill that causes abortions. They are against abortions. Too many youngsters out there using abortion as a form of birth control. They lack responsibility. Taking birth control or using a condom is way to hard for them. Easier to just get an abortion if they get pregnant. That way, they don’t have to take any responsibility for their actions. They don’t recognize they are committing murder. And yup, that’s the word I used, murder. The taking of a human life.

    • tedlv

Too many people can’t see the difference, unfortunately. Some see a 3 year old child as a thing that can be aborted.

      • Cheryl Webb Clair

How do you abort a 3 year old child?

        • Lou Bator

Post birth abortion, the latest rage for libs. Just ask Nancy Pelosi.

  • Tom Winegar

Almost as bad as abortion is my youngest son fathering a child with a woman that already has three being raised by strangers and they are both meth heads. My son was just arrested after a high speed car chase and will be going back to prison but the girl carrying and brutally drugging her unborn child gets a free pass so she can continue addicting that poor kid. Can’t violate her rights by locking her up until the child is born I guess. A little off topic but when my tantrums occur I can’t control where they happen.

    • nc ✓s & balances

But we mustn’t talk about these issues, no, better to talk about the wonders of legalizing drugs and glorifying mindless hook-up sex. Never mind the consequences. My heart goes out to you, Tom. I’ve seen these things too, and I weep.

      • Tom Winegar

Thank you, I also have joined the ranks of grandparents raising grandchildren now that I have his six year old daughter living with me. My other three kids excel and he excels at fathering children that he has no intention of caring for. In America today kids have gone from being the center of the family when I was young to an unwanted appendage.

  • W Randall

I cannot wrap my head around this whole back-assward (liberal-progressive) way of thinking… If they seriously belive the statement “keep their boss out of their personal health care decisions” then they SHOULD be getting free birth control, so they are not breeding more stupidity. They are literally pushing that their employer be MANDATED into being involved in their personal health care decisions and the Government too! Have they really thought this through, or just following the herd of sheep? (That last part is a rhetorical question BTW)

  • JoeCasepack

It’s funny that libs always talk about “pro-choice” when there is no choice involved. And certainly no choice to the baby being killed. I think the baby would choose to be born.

The evil liberals should call themselves anti-life instead of pretending there is a choice.

    • Tom Winegar

Anti-life, I like that and it describes them perfectly.

  • F the Left

What a bunch of bottom feeding hags. The smell outside the court must have been horrendous. Where did these witches park their brooms?

  • Vicki

There’s the strategy! Just rename aborted fetuses as abused mammals, toss $100 to PETA coffers and stand back and watch the circus.

  • Hugh_Jass

Get your uterus off my lawn…

  • Orson OLSON

‘If you don’t support my COERCED needs, then YOU OPPRESS ME!” seems to be the emotional fascists claim. God save this nation! (And I’m an atheist.)

  • Tom Winegar

Employer provided health care is a privilege, not a right. I can understand why an employer might provide at least basic health care but if their sense of morality makes it impossible to cover certain areas then they have the right to say no. I also believe a business owner should be able to refuse service to anyone for any reason. The market will decide if he or she is is wrong or too puritanical. The Bill of Rights, why do libs have such a hard time understanding that they apply to everyone.

    Profiles in Stupidity!

  • Jimbo

I got a kick out of the scrawny old hag with the “this uterus for you” sign. She hasn’t had to worry about “reproductive rights” since Jesus was a pup.

    • Perry

This picture makes me think (hope?) somewhere someone must be very disappointed.

      • APW

Ick. Somehow, I don’t anything is going in or out of that uterus.

      • Major

        And doesn’t see the contradiction.

  • Pamela K. Cahoon Laub

Do those signs mean the pro-choice people rape animals? Hmmmmm!

  • http://www.algoreisabidfatidiot.com/ “Rev Jim Jones”

Never ceases to amaze me how unconventional the human thought process can be when left unchecked. Ruling out severe cranial trauma sometime between middle school dependency and adult independence the thought process for some individuals assumes inexplicable detours from conventional processing which seems to explain the existence of such oddball characters and radicals.

Not that I’m advocating herd mentality but where do these nut jobs come from? Is it viral or decrease?

  • Hans Switzer

It still baffles me to see their ‘logic’ that wanting to prevent a fetus from destruction is bigotry, homophobic, and a women’s health issue. Most women with a fetus are pretty healthy, and the real health concern is the abortion itself. Killing an already established fetus is NOT contraception.

  • Trudy Hill

If you need to undo what you did the night before ask the guy to help pay, unless you don’t even remember his name. But surely you at least got his number????

  • Laughing at you

Insurance companies pick and choose what types of treatment they cover plus what prescription drugs they cover and always have. How is this any different? These people are fools. They no not of what they speak. So sad what has happened to this country. The SCOTUS should throw this out and should never have taken this case to begin with.

  • Bill Burns

I had no idea Hobby Lobby felt that way about this issue. I will be sure to do ALL my gift buying there.

  • Marvin Nelson

Don’t these idiots understand that Hobby Lobby employees are free to BUY their own contraceptives? If they can’t afford them, then they are not spending their income wisely. The sum of the IQs of all of the a$$holes above doesn’t beat a bag of hammers.

    • rickg62

They already cover sixteen forms of contraception. They object to paying for the morning after pill which is a form of abortion. Of course these protesters don’t want you to know that.

  • nozebleed

interesting how the “get married” box isnt checked on that “before i have a baby” sign, i’d think that would be near the top somewhere. guess i’m just “old school”

  • sadlyso

These pro choice people are like beggars. Going around crying foul if nobody want to buy them lunch or give them a penny. Shame, shame.

  • Indynana

Why do liberals always expect someone else to pay their way in this life ? Why do they all expect someone else to be responsible for their actions , needs , or vices ? They are all the same. Low morals , and no accountability !

  • RedSoloCup

Annoy a libtard.. go shop at Hobby Lobby. Which is what I might just do today…

  • Lou Bator

    I support Hobby Lobby!

  • Keyna

If a girl wants to be sexually active; she should pay for her own contraceptive.
    FYI – to destroy an eagle egg costs $250,000 in fines and 2 years in jail;
    – to destroy a fetus costs nothing (paid for by govt/taxes)
There’s something desperately wrong with human logic in this country.

  • mzk1_1

Get your laws off my business!

  • mzk1_1

Why is our side using “pro-choice” when the other side won’t use “pro-life”? How about “pro-murder” or “pro-death” or “anti-life” or “pro-femicide”?

  • Charles Keith Wilson

first nobody wants to touch their (box) second they sound a little BOSSY telling other people to pay for their (sh!t )

  • Phillip Burdine

Does it surprise anyone that Pro-Choicers equate the life of a cow to the life of a baby.

  • https://www.youtube.com/user/JayJay3Fifty7 JJ357

    These signs are liberal genius.

  • Storm Saxon’s Gall Bladder

If you work at Hobby Lobby you cannot go to Walgreens and buy birth control. The Hobby Police with stop you. True story!

  • elizabeth31

The real question is why we aren’t still fighting corporate personhood? This worries me faaar more than some idiots with signs.

  • LadyGreenEyes

If these idjits want the “boss” out of their business, then they should pay for their business themselves.

  • CrossHugger

And satan smiled and said aren’t they so cute.

  • The Crying Boozer Tangerine

Didn’t your mentors give you anything to say about what that long list of lawsuits is supposed to mean?

  • The Crying Boozer Tangerine

It’s against my religion to pay benefits to Republicans.

    • Casca

It’s against my religion to pay taxes to support lazy democrats

  • The mom

This is some sick crap on these signs. I am ashamed to be a woman looking at this stuff. What happened to being a lady? Putting all your lady parts out there for the world? Can’t we take responsibility for our own reproduction and get back a little class American women were once known for ?

  • Casca

They forgot ” Racism” , because, you know……….

  • Rob Erta

Liberty would be a meaningless term if it were defined by the whims and ever-changing will of fleeting majorities and their elected agents.
