Eh, what else is new?

As Twitchy reported, the CBO is out with a new report predicting that a minimum wage hike would cost half a million Americans their jobs. But if you ask Harry Reid, we’ve got to fight to raise that wage — for America! And what’s more American than blaming the Koch Brothers for your pathological ineptitude and lies?

Good. Lord. This is full-blown Koch Derangement Syndrome, and evidently it’s all the libs have left.

Enough to donate a crapload more than the Koch Brothers to political causes:

Funny, that.

Good idea. But first:

C’mon, Harry. Put all your money where your big, fat mouth is.

Twitchy coverage of Harry Reid

So Senator Reid….what do you have to say about Obama’s 100 Million dollar trip to Africa?…Oh nothing….that’s right, he spent OUR money to do that.

  • Chad Touchscreen

Thank you so much, Senator Reid, you have no idea what this means for my future and that of my children. The little calculators are just giggling with anticipation.

    Liberals are so stupid.

The Koch brothers made $18 billion last year? Good for them! What’s that got to do with me?

  • Marvin Nelson

So, Dingy, how much did you rake in last year? “Income inequality,” my ass. You need to retire now, you senile old goat.

  • QueenB

So Harry, how much did George Soros make? How about the top 10 executives of any given union?

    • Hey, That’s Pretty Good

That’s the thing, if they donate to Democrats, they are never seen as the enemy. Harry is whining about the Koch Brothers, but Soros is far worse of a boogey man than the libs paint the Koch Brothers as. And good point about Union Executives. They’re rich, and unions cause more trouble than they are worth, but I don’t ever see Dems complaining about that because union back Cronyism, which means they back Democrats.

  • Lord Foggybottom

what’s unbelievable is that people still get their panties in a twist over what this a**hole says. the mythbusters just did a show on shoving 10 lbs. of crap into a 5 lb. bag. All they had to do was look at Sen. Reid; he’s been shoving 10 tons of crap into a 150 lb. bag for decades.

  • JeffWRidge

These lefty hacks just don’t get it. A low paying job is better than having no job and no pay. That’s where I’m at right now – no job, no pay, and quickly running out of money and things to sell for enough money to keep eating. I’ve applied at fast food restaurants, for janitorial jobs, for security guard work, you name it, I’ve tried for it.

I occasionally get some grunt work like helping someone clean out a garage, or basement, but that’s about it. I’m one of those poor that the lefties claim they care about, while they keep legislating all of the jobs away. I don’t think I can survive much more of their help and compassion.

    Lefties are killing this country.

    • Al’s Annoyed Grandpa

All the best, Jeff. I pray that something comes your way soon.

      • JeffWRidge

I really appreciate that, thank you. I’ll get by. I always have.

    • thetreyman

North Dakota is booming. oil industry and everything else. good money to be made for those who dont put restrictions on themselves about where they work and what work they’ll do. what are you prepared to do?

      • JeffWRidge

As I wrote, I’m open to pretty much any kind of job that I can get. I looked up ND and see that the unemployment rates are low there. The lowest in the nation according to the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

The fact is, in the city where I live the unemployment rate is higher than the either the state, or national level. Idiots have run this city into the ground.

I’d been figuring on moving, even out of state, if necessary, once I could scrape together the funds. You’ve given me a place to think about going to. Thanks.

    • Humanary Stew

I am pretty much in the same boat. Moving is more difficult as my mom and stepdad are in their 70s.And my stepdad is wheel chair bound so mom needs some help. I also own too much on my condo to move right now. I am in a training program for A+, but might be out of money completely before the job actually starts. I literally cried for days and couldn’t sleep for several nights after Obama got re-elected because I knew exactly what it meant.

      • JeffWRidge

I understand exactly what you’re saying. The death of my mother severed the last connection I had with my hometown area. I couldn’t move while she was fighting the cancer that would eventually kill her. Now I have no reason to stay here, except the expense of moving, and having a clear destination.

The lefty Democrats and the weak Republicans have massively fouled things up. I wish you (and everybody in our situation) all the luck possible, because at this point, we’re all at the mercy of lunatics and cowards. Just keep fighting.

My best to your mother and stepfather.

        • Humanary Stew

Thank you very much for your kind words. I also wish you luck. I also have Aspergers Syndrome, which makes the interviews even more stressful. I usually don’t perform well in them either.

The area I am in is growing with a lot of medical related or manufacturing jobs. The problem is that you can’t get 90% of the medical related jobs without either a degree or certification. At 44 years old, that is not really an option anymore. Even the manufacturing jobs here are demanding at least two years experience. That used to be one job that you could walk in to right out of high school. Just another “benefit” of the economy and an employer’s market. Then, of course you have the job consolidation where employers are asking less people to do more than before.

I could go on but will leave it at that. Sorry for the ramble.

          • JeffWRidge

I know that Aspergers Syndrome is very misunderstood and can make it very hard to get a job, or even keep one. A lot of people just don’t know how to deal with it. That has to make it a lot harder for you.

I hear you on the requirements for certification or specialized degree for a lot of jobs. I’ve run into that problem myself. I will say that I returned to school and got my BA in my 40s. It can be done. My intention was to continue to law school, but for the time being, that hasn’t worked out. Never say die.

The big difference now is that we now have a president and Congress that don’t seem to care about creating jobs. They want to play politics.

Not that I’m a good one for giving advice, but please give some thought to talking to someone at a college near you. The worse that happens, is that nothing comes of it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But it could help.

No problem with the ramble. As you can see, I can run on a bit myself. Shoot, the only reason I wrote my original post was that Reid made my blood boil. Sometimes you just need to vent.

          • Humanary Stew

Well, right now I am in a training program through Goodwill. The local news did a story on it that summarizes it pretty well. Once I pass the tests and get the certification, I get an interview. The nice thing is that the company hiring, specializes in placing people with handicaps.

Here is the the link to the news story:

Currently there are four classes with a fifth one about to start. This happens to be the class I am in.

    • Perry

A lot of people where I live in similar situations. Lots of people in their 40’s and 50’s out of a job. Too young to retire, yet nobody will hire them.

      • JeffWRidge

That’s pretty much my situation. I’m in my 50s, and with so many people of all ages looking for work, it is extremely difficult to get a job.

        • Billy Bob

          Schneider National hires every day.

          • JeffWRidge

I had an interview with them a while back. I’m still waiting to hear back from them. Thanks.

          • Humanary Stew

My fingers are crossed for you and hope you hear something positive.

    Senator Harry Reid ✔ @SenatorReid
The Koch bros made over $18 billion last year, but middle-class families have watched their incomes stagnate for decades. #RaiseTheWage

So what Reid is saying is, the Koch brothers made almost as much money last year as Obama spent on vacation and golf……………..

  • skypilot77

Forget meaningful conversation and or debate with fools like this. All Reid cares about is power. It is so thoroughly pitiful. The system is beyond repair because half the people in the country are beyond repair.

  • $84598387

This is the same fascist who on the floor of the Senate in a Presidential campaign states as fact that Romney didn’t pay taxes for 10 years.

This type of attack on private business men by a sitting Senator has no place in this country.

  • $84598387

“Reid must have forgotten to mention his plans to attend a fundraiser Wednesday night at the home of Tom Steyer, an anti-bald eagle hedge fund titan with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion who is planning a $100 million ad blitz in 2014.

The Congressional Budget Office on Tuesday estimated
that increasing the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, as Democrats have
proposed, would come at the expense of about 500,000 jobs.”

  • Clarence Whorley

How could he know? It is illegal for the IRS to disclose their tax returns and their company is PRIVATE, meaning their tax returns are not public. If Harry got any info it came from IRS and that is ILLEGAL. Another IRS scandal

  • QueenB

I say we raise the minimum wage to $18billion per hour. That way, we can all make more than the Koch Bros. That’s how this works, right?

  • Perry

Harry’s worth $5 Million. I wants some of that. Income inequality. Racism, and stuff like that there.

    • Fire and Adjust!

$5 Million, of which he has supposedly made on a public servant’s salary, since all he has known virtually his entire adult life is working as an elected official……….. sounds like Harry is the one who should be excoriated and put behind bars………..

All you’ve done here is what Dick Smothers did in the movie– “Oooh, nasty-nasty, mustn’t touch!” because, well, the Koch Brothers are the Koch Brothers and, well, they “Koch-Brother”! And that’s “eeeeeeeee-v-i-I”! Admit it, you wouldn’t know either one of them if they walked into the Capitol Building right this minute.

2 days? More like 2 hours.

It may seem that way, but annual spending by the federal government is up to around $3.8 trillion. That comes out to $10.4 billion per day.

Harry Reid, You are a putz…
YOU live in The Ritz Carlton in a flat,
    You have Limousine Service,
    Secret Service Security,
    A fine retirement coming,
Rolls Royce HealthCare that gets you what ever Doctor, Hospital you need, along with your family and its all on the backs and Paid for by us the Taxpayer.

Tell us Harry Reid, what Business did you start, and own, and are you in?
C’mon, tell us, what is YOUR Business, where you have a Goods or Service that provides Jobs and Products where YOU make their pay roll and sign their checks, where you do provide them benefits, which helps people pave their own destiny, their Future for they themselves and their families? Hmm?

The Koch Brothers have a great business, fine products, we will continue purchase and use and they are proudly produced and manufactured by over 40K employees (approx.) and they provide a great service for our Wounded Warriors.

Shove it where the sun doesn’t shine, Harry. Please excuse us we misstated that you were a putz above, we are correcting ourselves, You are a megalomanical crony hack, and a crony thug, whose is destroying this once great Nation!

This is a distraction and a vote grab.

They don’t care if this hurts working class families, they know that they will still get their votes as long as the media lets them keep pointing at scapegoats for their failed policies.

This is a get out the vote campaign, a way to distract from Obamacare and rev up the base. Iif small, medium and large businesses and their owners and employees have to suffer to keep Dems in office, then so be it.

It’s time for this senile old Socialist to be bumped out of the Majority leader position. He hasn’t done anything worthwhile anyway, so it’s time we get him out of control of the Senate. The Brookings Institute did a study and they determined that Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats are to blame for gridlock in Congress.

Don’t forget, Reid also is the one who shut down the government, and he is directly to blame for us not having an actual budget in half a decade. It’s time for him to go, and he is proof that we need term limits for politicians.

George Soros net worth 2008: $9 Billion (Forbes)

George Soros net worth 2008: $9 Billion (Forbes)
George Soros net worth 2013: $20 Billion (Forbes)

A three billion dollar increase over eight years is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but it is nothing compared to an astounding 11 Billion dollar increase in just over half that time. THAT is how much better George Soros has done during the Age of Obama than during the Bush years. When America is hurting, investors like George Soros are making billions off of that pain, courtesy of manufactured, empty suit politicians like Barack Obama.

Obama has been a boon to billionaires, and a wrecking ball of economic destruction to the once great American Middle Class.

So the next time you hear someone tell you how Obama “cares” about people, shove this fact in their face. He only cares about repaying those who wrote the checks to put him into power in the first place.
