It isn’t. Then again, when it comes to constitutional matters, Musket Morgan doesn’t have a clue.

This morning, he’s throwing in his unsolicited two cents about Phil Robertson’s suspension from “Duck Dynasty” over Robertson’s religious beliefs regarding homosexuality. And it’s clear that in light of recent events, Morgan is as big a jackass as ever:

Constitutioning is hard!

He won’t tolerate intolerance!

What a colossal dolt.

While we’re not gonna comment on the nickname, we can say without reservation that Piers is most definitely a bigot — a very, very stupid one.

You wouldn’t think.

Be careful what you wish for, Piers.

I’ll give you “shouldn’t protect vile bigots” in exchange for “shouldn’t protect British blowhards,” deal?

    • conservativechick

He doesn’t mind the 1st amendment protecting his vile bigotry!

      • Newtie and the Beauty

Not at all–it’s other people’s “bigotry” he clutches his pearls over.

        • JeffyTheQuick

Piers, Piers, Piers… let me explain something to you:

In 1787, after the Rebels in that backwater colony outlasted you in an 8 year war, from 1775 to 1783, they found that the Articles of Confederation weren’t working, so they drafted a Constitution to detail how the new government should work.

As a deal for ratification, the Federalists promised the Anti-Federalists that they would, if ratified, propose Amendments to that new Constitution, and in the very first Congress, 12 amendments were proposed to protect the people and the states against tyranny. 11 of these were ratified with 10 becoming part of the US Constitution in 1791, the 11th (technically, the 2nd Amendment proposed in 1789) in 1992.

So, to be nice, you exercising your first amendment right protected by the US Constitution shows that you are a modern day car owner: You know how to operate it, but have no clue how it works.

I wish you luck on getting your 100,000th viewer. If you don’t get it in 2014, there’s always 2015, 2016… or maybe you can have a television give-away, so your viewers can double-up!

          • hankrbradley

Or maybe 100,000 in all those years combined if he’s lucky. Hey he only has 99,995 to go!

        • BAW

If it were “other people’s bigotry” it would be different. But it’s his intolerant, narrow minded, hateful, elitist sense of what “bigotry” is that makes it disgusting. He’s the hater, he’s the bigot, he really needs to have his little bubble popped.

We weren’t allowed to tell other Americans (in the 60s) Love it or Leave it but can’t we tell our “guests” if you don’t like it here, you are more than welcome to leave. I’ll get the door.

I say we get a petition together to send this WANKER back across the pond where he belongs !! Peirs should love it there, since they aren’t allowed to have guns there but the crime rate is still high because criminals are trading one weapon for another, like beating people to dead with baseball bats & clubs or knifes & kiII people with machetes !!! Take one form of these criminals ways of hurting & kiIIing people away & they will just find another & Britain is a prime example of this !! Thats something Peirs doesn’t like to talk about when discussing his former homeland, its not CONVENIENT for Peirs & his FLEEBAGGING [email protected] view of the world !!!

The bigger question I have is when is Peirs Morgan going to be cancelled, you guys at CNN have to know he is dragging you down in the Neilsen Ratings !!! Now I will give CNN a little credit for getting rid of the two RAClST Soledad O’Brein & Roland Martin but keeping Peirs on the air, it seems that CNN has just sh0t themselves in the foot with all the good work they were trying to do !!!

By the way, those two jihadis who murdered that soldier a few months back were just now convicted of that heinous crime. Say this for the Brits– they didn’t waste a whole lot of time getting ’em tried and thrown in the slammer for a good long time.

There needs to be a national campaign, that every time Piers goes in public people throw food at him. He’s a disrespectful twit of a guest. Americans have a natural aversion to being lectured by foreigners and Piers needs some motivation in his return to his side of the pond.

I don’t know if it was in the GQ interview, but he spoke about his Own experiences working alongside blacks as a farm laborer. He said he never saw any of them abused, and they seemed to him to be happy.
        This was “pre-entitlement, pre-welfare.”
Of course the knuckelheads call that ‘racism’.
And it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Piers thought all white American Conservative males are racist, ‘assault rifle’ loving, homophobic bigots. He’s an extraordinarily idiotic foreigner.

In the past lefties have tried to mock those of us who have pointed out that someone willing to take one of our rights (as in the Second Amendment) from us, would also take other rights from us. I didn’t say he hates Americans more than Piers (I’m not sure what exactly you mean by that – more than Clarkson hates Piers? or more than Piers hates Americans? I doubt there’s anyone lower on his list than Piers Morgan).

I’ve never heard Jeremy Clarkson express anything but contempt for Americans (not just American cars). I used to watch Top Gear all the time (it can be very funny, something the US version lacks, painfully), but the belittling became too commonplace, and too obvious for me to continue.

          • Clete Torres

I thought you meant Clarkson hates us more than Piers(1) hates us.

  • Mark Jackson

This isn’t really a 1st amendment issue. No one denied Mr. Robertson the freedom to state his belief or opinion. The 1st amendment is designed to keep government from denying our right to speak. A&E is a private company and as such they have the right to associate or disassociate with whomever they choose and for whatever reason. Sometimes speaking your mind comes with consequences. This is no different then MSNBC firing Alex Baldwin and Martin Bashir a week or so ago. Both of them also spoke their minds and ended up being fired for it as well. Is this a case of Christian bashing ? Yes. Is it a case of A&E caving into a fringe group of intolerant haters who simply can’t abide with disapproval ? Yes. Will A&E face their own consequences from their cowardly act in the form of lost revenue and viewership ? Hopefully so. What this isn’t is a case of anyone not allowing Phil Robertson to speak his mind. He spoke his mind and, in America today, that is enough to be persecuted for if you don’t agree with the politically correct, intolerant, easily offended liberal victims and Christian bashers.

    • CLEmom

Except that A&E is a joint venture with ABC/Disney…whose execs just happen to be major Obama bundlers/donors.
So I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss any possible intervention from our trustworthy, honest, un-corrupt US government.

      • Mark Jackson

But still his interview wasn’t edited, the mag wasn’t banned. he had his say. His freedom was upheld. I’m not saying that A&E and the powers that be at ABC/Disney didn’t have political motives for reacting as they did.

  • Tigerspike

    • carolina mama

I was just wondering the same thing.

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Sadly, it doesn’t work that way. Everyone (not just citizens) has Constitutional protections, when there is no other limiting factor allowed by the Constitution. Remember, the Bill of Rights is there to restrain the Government.

      • Tigerspike

Ah, yes. That sounds about right.

        • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

The primary limiting factor on the rights of non-citizens is in the main body of the Constitution, and that is that Congress can pass laws relating to “naturalization,” i.e., set up an immigration department to determine who gets into the US in the first place, how long they’re allowed to stay, and what they’re allowed to do for work (or not) while here. But if you get in, you have pretty much the same rights, while you’re here, as any American would, except the right to vote (legally, that is).

The Brits had a need for firearms, not to mention Lend Lease, so U.S. citizens loaned their privately owned rifles, shotguns and sidearms to the cause. Those arms were shipped, with the consent of the British Government, to the CIVILIAN COMMITTEE FOR PROTECTION OF HOMES, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND.

Piers is douchebag. He got his journalism ethics from Brit tabloids…caterwauling rediculous headlines. The fact MSNBC payes this squawkbox speaks volumes of the type of viewers they want to keep. No wonder their ratings are in the loo.

  • Jake Bradford

The PC Nazis are in an absolute FRENZY this Christmas.

  • Dennis the Dreamer

Piers should be deported to North Korea.

  • Cal

You know, of all the wonderful British people living here who love America for its freedoms, this nitwit ended up with a TV show. How is that fair?

  • FreedomFighter

The Pope holds the same beliefs as Robertson, and hes man of the year.

  • VerminMcCann

The right feels the way it does about the 2nd Amendment because the left feel this way about the 1st.

  • BAW

The “vile bigot” I see the 1st Amendment protecting here is Piers Morgan.

And I’m okay with that. It’s the left that suppresses speech, and beliefs, and ideas, and thoughts. And people need to know that.

Duck Dynasty’s success and Piers Morgan’s failure proves why they suppress opposing views. When both views are freely expressed, the left loses.

  • tjp77

At least he’s honest. Most liberals just pretend they’re in favor of free speech. Piers just comes right out and says that he doesn’t think people who he disagrees with deserve the same rights as him.

  • cloudshe

the fact that robertson gets fired for harmless but non-PC comments in response to interview questions, and piers still has a job after this insulting, obscene, offensive drunk tirade on twitter just shows you how far up their asses the people that PAY piers have their heads. conservatives for decency over our airwaves should DEMAND this A-hole get his visa revoked and a don’t-let-the-door-hit -you-in-the-butt invitation delivered.

  • Jack Deth

    Memo to Mr. Morgan:

    Americans are Citizens.

While you, sir. Are a Subject!

And you wonder why so many mock you at ever turn?

  • MrApple

Morgan seems to have forgotten that he recently said this; “It’s not my country, it’s not my constitution, but I’m a resident here, and I’m therefore governed by the same constitutional rights as anybody else.”

  • Hawkfighter

Let me see, Someone speaks the truth about the Gay society and he is a bigot?
Piers Morgan needs to be taken off the air today. He is the one that needs to be censored, today. We need to also write A & E in force and tell them to put Willie back on the air, today or WE THE PEOPLE will shutdown A & E. Do it now, Do it today.

  • $24960955

Morgan shud not have any protection. is he a citizen? go back to Britain you bigotted intolerant weeny man.

  • Clete Torres

Talk a long walk off a short yourself, you silly berk.

  • VL123

I think it should be called the Piers Morgan Constitution. LOL

  • Dane Gunderson

No one needs to ‘protect’ popular speech, but @piersmorgan doesn’t know what ‘popular’ means

  • Dane Gunderson

Dear RedCoat those amendments were to a Constitution made possible by shooting @piersmorgan forefathers

  • Dane Gunderson

Congrats Redcoat @piersmorgan you actually compounded stupid… go back to photoshop smears of the troops OK?

  • Dane Gunderson

Clearly @piersmorgan is a child molesting racist bigot as proven by the photos I just edited like @piersmorgan does

  • Jesse Aranda

“Calm down, everyone. I’m merely exercising my own 1st Amendment freedom of speech rights to say Phil Robertson’s a racist bigot.”

Hm. Using your own 1st amendment rights to advocate for taking away someone else’s 1st amendment rights. And people think this guy is smart and not a tyranny-loving hypocrite?

  • CarolinaGirl3

I don’t recall Piers getting his silky panties in a twist over either Baldwin or Bashir. Hey Piers – more people watch Duck Dynasty in one night that watch your silly show in a year.

  • CrossWinds

    Matthew 12:30
He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

  • CarolinaGirl3

Dear Puss – you can rant and rave and act like the silly jackass you are till the cows come home. NO ONE is going to watch your show.

  • Thale Taxurfeet

Mr. Morgan, Delta is ready when you are.

I’ll chip in a C-note towards the transportation costs necessary to ship this vacuous talking-head back to his native land. And I’ll add a roll of duct tape so his fellow passengers do not suffer any extraneous babble on what’s wrong with the U.S. and/or our Constitution/BoR while Monsieur Blow-hard is in transit.

    • ScottyPotty

That would start a war with England–they hate him as much as we do.

      • Thale Taxurfeet

A brief skirmish might be worth it to know he’s no longer on our soil. Admittedly, that may just be the Scots-Irish in me speaking.

  • descolada9

Please stop feeding the Twitter troll who is in desperate need of attention.

  • Laura Hudman

Heh Piers, can’t imagine WHY you are still on the air, do you even have a following? You are a boil on the butt of society, go F yourself. And go back to wents you came!

  • pbtruth

If not for vile comments hate speech and bigotry, Piers Morgan would not have a job. Everyone knows he is a no talent worthless bigot who never had an independent thought of his own, and was so minus of any kind of talent he had to flee his country to find work. He must thank his lucky starts their is a network that is so hurting for talent that they would even give him a job.

  • Rick Caird

Just a thought, but Piers Morgan, being an Englishman does not have a Constitution so it would be a bit much for him to understand ours unless he wanted to be bothered to do so. Clearly, he can’t be bothered. He must be too busy tweeting one liners and trying to overturn the second amendment.

  • mac7692

That is funny considering that Piers Morgan is a vile bigot.

  • jjcassidy

Perhaps there’s some Constitutional amendment that shouldn’t necessarily protect all nationalized citizens against being deported as well. It could apply to former immigrants who don’t seem to understand our Constitution and advocate to undermine it.

    Just throwing that out there.

  • bill_a_bob

Oh Piers, there you go shooting your mouth off again! God Bless your heart . . .

  • bill_a_bob

Piers, Don’t play the laughing boy. There’s only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and religion and Piers Morgan.

  • ceemack

I’m starting to think Piers Morgan is more French than British. He’s so eager to surrender freedom…

I love how a smarmy leftist brit can tell us all about the ins and outs of the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

  • tops116 ✓Quipper

Translation: “Free speech is only okay if I agree with what you’re saying.”

So, when’s Piers getting fitted for his brown shirt and red armband?

‘Course, should we really be surprised by Piers’ complete disregard for free speech. After all, he banned Dana Loesch from his show for expressing an opinion on British gun laws. (Yep, not only doesn’t he grasp free speech, but Piers also doesn’t grasp the concept of irony.”)

    • MoonBeamWatcher

I have the same problem in Brookline, Massachusetts.
I can talk as long as I agree with them. Have a thoughtful
opinion . . . like think it poor taste to feature a Lesbian family
on the front page of local paper at Christmas time.

  • Beth H

Mr Morgan claims that Phil is racist. Has Mr Morgan seen the family pictures? He has an Asian American granddaughter and an African American Grandson. Since he hasn’t fired or disinterested Willie, we can assume that he approves

  • LawrenceO

Morgan uses the appropriate social media to share his stupidity on. He’s a twit who tweets on Twitter. His speech is protected by the same document as the one Phil Robertson’s is. So Morgan’s opinion carries as much weight as Obama’s does. Both need their passports revoked and sent home.

  • JoeMyGodNYC

Liberal Martin Bashir says something vulgar about Sarah Palin and the
right screams for his head and gets it. Liberal Alec Baldwin says
something vulgar to a photographer and the right screams for his head
and gets it. Conservative Phil Robertson compares tens of millions of
Americans to people who have sex with animals and the right screams
“freedom of speech!” The teapocrisy is almost just too hilarious to bear.

    • old_ogre

Where do you get “tens of millions” from???

    • Guest

Robertson does not single out any individual, he talks about his faith priavtely and what it tells him. Bashir on national television singled out Palin and encouraged the use of violence against her.

Robertson was just stating his beliefs. He didn’t call gay people any names or wished them harm.

      Phil Robertson also said this:

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me.”

    • ScottyPotty

Joe, don’t be an idiot. He didn’t compare homosexuality to bestiality. He lumped in a list of sins (that are in the Bible) when asked about what his thoughts on sin were.

He didn’t call for people to defecate in Sarah Palin’s mouth (woman hating Martin Bashir). He didn’t call anyone a c**ksucking f*g (homosexual hating Alec Baldwin). He didn’t call anyone a c*nt (woman hating Bill Maher).

Nope, he simply explained what he believed to be sin as spelled out in the Bible. HOW DARE HE QUOTE FROM THE BIBLE! WE MUST CRUCIFY HIM NOW!

      • JoeMyGodNYC

So…freedom of speech isn’t absolute and is only applicable to some people in some circumstances, depending on whether you like the person saying it?

        • ScottyPotty

Wow are you really that dense?

There was nothing hateful or negative in his comments. He was merely expressing his opinions on sin. This hate from the left is feigned because he’s a Christian conservative. Trust me, everyone would be singing Barack Obama’s praises if he had said the exact same thing.

Now folks like Bill Maher, Alec Baldwin, Rachael Maddow, Martin Bashir and Piers Morgan use hate-filled rants in their speech. Nothing like that at ALL in Robertson’s words.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

So your answer is “no”, freedom of speech is not absolute. I understand.

          • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Well, there ARE such minor transgressions as libel, slander, sedition, incitement to riot, perjury, fraud, false advertising– so yeah, speech isn’t absolutely free, you CAN be punished for speech that has criminal results.

The difference is, that the Government is telling you that if you engage in these things, and something really bad jumps off, you’ll wish you hadn’t said it. But these are specific instances stemming from a specific incident. This ISN’T the Government telling you in advance, don’t anybody say anything, because if anything anywhere happens to anyone else, anybody can get locked up at any time.

Besides, Phil wasn’t being a bigot. He was quoting scripture (which causes liberals to snarl like a vampire at the cross!) and offering his personal opinion…

The idiots like you that try to compare this to Martin Batshit or Alec Baldwin are pathetic. This was a puff piece interview in GQ where the questions were baiting him to say what or how he feels. Guess you can’t deal with REALITY. What business does this person have to say anything about what someone else says??!! I can say what I believe and give my opinion on what ever subject is up for debate. Unless I am threatening someone’s life or threatening illegal activity then I can say what I want to. That is the great thing about living in the US. Now if you honestly say what you really think you are labeled in one way or another. I am glad that this horrible magazine did this because now the entire country can see just how bad it has gotten. Now people may wake up and realie just what is going on.

This might be a clue to why Piers is so touchy on the Duck Dynasty statement :

    “…quoted a Bible verse
that essentially said anyone who is an adulterer — which according to
Matthew 5:32, includes “anyone who marries a divorced woman” — is going
    to hell.”

So Piers is going to hell for adultery, but we all knew he was going to hell anyway – because he is an Arsenal FC fan.

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

As the Tottenham “Chutzpah” (Hotspur) fans used to say about players from that team, “He puts the ‘arse’ in Arsenal.” (Those two teams are like the Yankees and Red Sox, in terms of the heat of the rivalry.)

A couple of friends and I stopped at a gas station, just outside of Memphis some years back, around 11:30 at night.
As soon as my buddy gets out of the car to start pumping the gas, the pump goes dark. Mind you, it wasn’t waiting to be activated so the actual pumping mechanism would come on. It was shut off entirely.
The attendant is standing in the window the entire time, as my buddy is motioning to him like “what’s going on”.
We sat there for a minute then said screw it and drove off.
As soon as we started to pull away we can see the attendant make a motion and boom, the pump is on.
Did I mention the three of us are white and the attendant was black?

Funny how the same right that allows someone to burn a flag in front of a veteran-doesn’t seem to allow that same veteran the right to fly that very flag in front of his own property. The right to endorse gay marriage is the same right to oppose it, as it is the right of those who we disagree with to voice their opposition to our points. It seems though, that-especially since Obama took office-those that oppose the ‘popular” points of view are to be silenced, and their rights to espouse their views negated. That’s not liberty, and it’s not freedom. If “hatred” is the intolerance of other points of view, do those that would silence any dissenters not practice “hatred” every day? If we call all those who disagree with us-as the left does on a daily basis-“haters”, does that not violate the very “right” they claim to champion? This has gone beyond ridiculous.

No one on the left would dare speak of Muslims the way they do about Christians. Doing so would violate the liberal orthodoxy of multiculturalism, but, more importantly, such behavior might invite retaliation from some in the Muslim community. Apparently, there is nothing like a savage history and a continuing, credible threat of violence to immunize a group from liberal animus, to focus the liberal mind, and to encourage liberals to attend to their own affairs. Muslim societies, even those relocated in Western nations, remain immune to liberal criticism despite traditional, institutional toleration of misogyny, honor killings, pederasty, brokered and arranged marriages of children, and genital mutilation, among other distasteful practices. One suspects that if Christians were to hack off a few heads in response to the treatment they receive from liberals, they’d face far less liberal hostility — at least openly.

Sadly, liberals will not consider, much less accept, that their shabby treatment of Christians is as ugly, ignorant, and offensive as the behavior of those who resisted the integration of blacks into American society. Though they are frequently both, liberals do not see themselves as either hypocrites or bigots.

Oh Morgy is a silly one. I wonder if he even bothered to read the story at the link to the tabloid magazine he posted. It reads:

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once,” he said. “Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field … They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!… Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

There is not one single racist comment in there. Someone oughta explain to Morgy that Robertson was not talking about black people in general, he was sharing his personal experience and what he saw/didn’t see when he worked with black people. FFS – Robertson calls himself what trash, not the self-assessment of a racist.

It is not surprising that Morgan’s tiny limey brain is unable to grasp the idea that if somebody who he hates is deprived of freedom of speech, then someone he supports can have their right to speak freely taken away as well. This dolt’s pathetic ratings should have gotten him canned months ago.

I hope someone asked this clown how he feels about Alec Baldwin’s homosexual rants! GLAAD gives Baldwin a pass for all of his offensive rants and raves. There was nothing really offensive about what Phil Robertson said. Yet the idiots at GLAAD roasted him. Do as I say not as I do. That’s the liberal call to arms!

    • Richard Jefferies

Remember, always, liberals believe in liberalism first, and stated causes second. Code Pink defends Islam and attacks Christianity as hateful to women. NOW circles the wagon on Clinton and says the kind of hateful and derogatory things about his victims that they complain are used again victims of sexual crimes. It is a mental disorder.

      • 5465vick

This is true. I sent a message to NOW. I asked them why they haven’t condemned Islam due to the terrible way that they treat their women, They must have ignored it because I got no response. Liberals are such hypocrites when it comes to free speech, wealth, and anything else you disagree with them about. They are always right even if you give them proof to the opposite of what they believe.

When it is one man’s feelings; expressed in words to state his strongest thoughts; born though years of bible study from his church and faith in god, How can anyone say they are not a bigot when They are attacking this countries freedom of religion, speech and right to bear arms. People of other countries leave their country, come to the US for a better life, and try to CHANGE this country to more like the one they left behind. Piers should go back to his own country if ours is so bad. If ours is so bad why did he come here in the first place??

  • Richard Jefferies

So, Free Speech doesn’t cover things you find morally reprehensible, eh? How do you feel about Larry Flynt, Piers? Seems when liberal judges were championing pornography rights against the wishes of the vast majority of the American people, it was about Free speech, but now, now that lunatics run the asylum, well, now Free Speech doesn’t exist.

  • Hoosier Daddy

This is yet another example of “the emperor’s new clothes.” EVERYONE knows that homosexuals are perverts….but the left has declared it politically incorrect to SAY so.

Disgust with homosexual acts is hardly “bigotry.” The vast majority of Americans believe that homosexuals should not be oppressed, but they also believe that what they do is disgusting. What normal person thinks that a man poking things up another man’s hairy a n u s is fine??

The only “vile bigots” in this situation are Piers Morgan and other leftists of his ilk.

If we had fewer people like Piers Morgan who has no brain, and says whatever he regards as politically correct to boost his ratings, and more people like Phil Robertson who has the guts to express his correct moral views, this would be a better world. Now, the media seems to require celebrities to pretend to have an opinion that appeals to select minority groups. I admire and respect a person for stating their views rather than lying to please certain people, Phil gas courage and convictions. Piers is nothing more than an empty talking head.

The fact that this is an issue is sad. Some guy on a TV show thinks that it’s wrong to be gay. Is he forcing his belief on anybody? Is he running for office? No. Yet it has attracted national attention. I could care less about issues like gay marriage because it doesn’t effect me.

    People need thicker skin.

  • kebozarth

Sin is the transgression of Torah – YHWH’s Instructions in Righteousness. Those who transgress the Torah, of the Almighty YHWH Creator and Possessor of Heaven and Earth and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob our Heavenly Father, are transgressors and lawless.

When a people accommodate and pass a law contrary to the Torah of the God of Avraham, Y’saac and Ya’acov, those men establish lawlessness in the land.

Our God given unalienable Responsibilities and Rights derived therefrom for all men are only secured, guaranteed and protected by righteous laws. For in this matter, all men are created equal under God the supreme and righteous Lawgiver, King and Judge of the Universe.

Our American Founding Fathers understood that our Constitution and Bill of Rights was made only for a moral and religious people who believed .in the God of the Bible.

BUT, When men rebel against God’s righteous commandments and thus his God given unalienable responsibilities toward his fellow man, those men show that they do not believe in God Almighty and their neighbors’ natural unalienable rights derived therefrom are destroyed by those who hate God and His righteous instructions – Torah. The result is death, for the wages of sin is death.

For example, death to Phil Robertson’s free exercise of speech by and the predictable consequence of his God given rights of life, liberty and property threatened by those lawless men.

Unlike sin, Love does no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the Torah of YHWH our Heavenly Father.

All sexual immorality, including homosexuality, does not fulfill the Torah of YHWH our Heavenly Father and therefore is not love.

Therefore homosexuality is not an expression of love but fornication and an abomination – exceedingly offensive and disgusting in the sight of God.

Phil Robertson is the latest Paula Deen. That’s what the media does, destroys anyone who won’t agree with them. His family adopting nigggers won’t save him. He’ll have to do an apology tour, and I don’t see Phil doing that.

  • interestedobserver2

The best possible argument against Piers Morgan’s thought is the mere fact that he is allowed to express it. The First amendment protects all speech everywhere, or it protects none. Likewise with the Second, and every other amendment. They are either protective of the rights of the people or they are not. There is no “exception” just because you don’t like the person, or the opinion, or the gun, or the sexual orientation, or the religious conviction. Piers Morgan should carefully reconsider what he thinks the Constitution is all about.

Phil is a Christian just like millions of us all over the world. That means that the bible directs and dictates our being. The Bible is clear on homosexuality. It does not state to hate the sinner, but to hate the sin. Watering the word of God down will not change anything. The word is the word. If you do not believe in the Bible and believe some other form of religion, I tolerate your rights to do so and to voice your religious convictions. As Americans, we deserve and demand the same!
