Hey, it’s only a matter of time.

The Colorado group responsible for the über-sophisticated ad campaign encouraging bros who like booze to sign up for Obamacare is out with a fresh batch of ads targeting the female empowerment crowd:

The roller derby demographic is important, but it’s the Sandra Fluke contingent that will really benefit from Obamacare:

https://twitter.com/ThanksObamacare/status/400088804431646720

Sweet! Obamacare means consequence-free sex with hot celebrity beefcake!

https://twitter.com/ThanksObamacare/status/400298605497417728

Susie likes her men like she likes her birth control: Free and easy.

Where do we even begin with this? Why don’t we start with the grammar?

Perhaps this would be a good time to plug school choice, which is good for grammar.

Ugh. Is this real life?

Clearly not.

Ain’t feminism grand?

Guys and dolls should be diggin’ these ads!

Aw, don’t be such buzzkills, ladies! If you’re a woman and you don’t love those ads, clearly you’re just uptight or something.

Only fitting, considering that Team Obama has been pimping out young people since the beginning.

And the ads are misleading, to boot:

Heh. True story.

And it only cost us $21 million:

Money well spent.

And on that note:

Update:

Those bros and hos who don’t got insurance might have to wait a little longer. DoYouGotInsurance.com is down at the moment:

I’m so glad not to be young now.

    • pinupartist

Drew Carey said something in an interview years ago that’s always stuck with me–something along the lines of if you don’t at least like a girl you’re sleeping with, you’re just using her parts to “please” your parts. Now we have the government encouraging girls to cheapen themselves. Sickening.

    • Mark81150 Never/Trump/Hillary

Oh I don’t know.. you have to figure the young people these douches are trying to reach, are mostly looking at it going… “huh.. what?”..
Most of the young aren’t lost, so much as tuned out, and parroting what TV says.. once they start paying mortgages, having kids, paying bills… they wise up remarkably fast.. Life will do that..

  • schveiguy

Words truly cannot describe how absolutely insane this ad campaign is.

It’s like they took Rush Limbaugh’s (purposefully) outrageous hyperbole about Sandra Fluke, and turned it into a PROMOTION! Like “Hm.. that Limbaugh guy makes people laugh, but he has a good point! We need baby-free sex! Why not?” and around some table, a few people who were probably busy texting to their bros and hos absent-mindedly nodded in agreement. And this is what we got (and that’s correct grammer right there).

Where to begin? How about the line about STDs. “Hey Hos, time to bed down the next hottie you see. But remember only common sense (such as NOT bedding down the next hottie you see) can prevent STDs.” Super-informative!

Guess why the girl on the big ball is overweight. BECAUSE SHE F***ING DRINKS WINE WHILE WORKING OUT! That’s why they have full-service bars at gyms, right? (?????)

Guess what that free birth control is for ladies! That’s right, masturbating to cardboard celebrities! WITH YOUR BFFs. AS IF THAT EVER MADE SENSE TO ANYONE WITH A SINGLE BRAIN CELL.

    OK, I’m done. insane.

    • Kevin Gallagher

It seems as if lawmakers are the only people in which liberal woman want to keep out of their vaginas.

    • trixiewoobeans

They haven’t read the fine print. Being overweight, drinking and the like is a BIG No-No with OCare. It’s all fun-and-games in the ad, not so much when you go see the doctor and they report your “high-risk” behavior, then they lower the boom on you.

      • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

“Yeah– it’s all fun and games, until somebody has to go and lose a ton of weight…”

        • trixiewoobeans

    • lcky9

their mothers are SOOOO proud their daughters are advertising they are hoes ,, even in the 60’s and 70’s the hoes had MORE self respect,, well except for HILARY the only way she could get any was to go to Woodstock and make sure the guy was high,,

  • jcf

That one add says they work hard to stay smokin’ hot. They need to work harder. Seriously, we are doomed.

  • journogal

I saw these being retweeted in Twitter, and thought they were spoofs. Who really thought this was a good idea? If anything, it’s demeaning. This is what the feminist movement was about? Who cares about breaking the glass ceiling as long as there is free bc. This is what I am suppose to pass along to my daughters, especially my oldest who is very strong in math and science – tell her to bypass becoming an engineer and focus on getting free BC from the government b/c they think you aren’t any better than that?

    • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Yes, this is exactly what “progressives” want you to teach your daughters. Being used as a doormat is all good as long as you get free bc! (See Hilary Clinton and Huma Weiner)

      • carolina mama

I absolutely cringe when I hear a young female say that they look up to Hilary Clinton.

Although, if your life career goal is to be an opportunist of the first order….then yeah, she’s an excellent role model for that.

        • Ryan Schneider.

Man may behold what ugliness he likes if he is sure that he will not worship it; but there are some so weak that they will worship a thing only because it is ugly. These must be chained to the beautiful. It is not always wrong even to go, like Dante, to the brink of the lowest promontory and look down at hell. It is when you look up at hell that a serious miscalculation has probably been made.” GK Chesterton

      • Calcat36

Speaking of doormats, has William Jefferson Blythe “Slick Willy” Clinton vetted all of these female “models” to ensure them that their birth control works?

        • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I’m sure he’s tried, but it seems the stuff he really likes doesn’t end in pregnancy.

          • Calcat36

That is why the disclaimer on all of the ads! STDs! Once a woman is slapped in the mouth by Hillary’s hubby, that woman feels the sting of all of the other women Slick Willy has slapped in the mouth!

Remember now, Ozero’s hero preacher racist did say that the Slickster was ridin’ Monica dirty! I concede your point. Pregnancy OUT. Urinary tract infections IN!

Why are men still forced to buy condoms? Shouldn’t they (condoms) be a RIGHT as well for MEN? Women OBVIOUSLY can forget to take their pills in the heat of their, well, heat, as demonstrated by these ads that depict brainless broads!

Democrats have a war on MEN!

    • HanaFiveO

Yea, the message here seems to be don’t bother with using your brains when you’ve got free birth control and your coochie.

    • Dana Church Lady

This douchebag is the brain child of these misogynist @ThanksObamacare ads: https://twitter.com/alanfranklin

These ads are particularly offensive to me as someone who takes birth control pills to treat Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and Fibroids (or at least I used to until I recently needed a full hysterectomy because my womb and nearby organs were destroyed by illness). The majority of hormonal birth control medications are taken to combat serious, sometimes life-altering diseases, many of which leave women infertile anyway.

I resent that Democrats think that women are sex-crazed sluts who can’t wait to get their hands on free birth control pills. Women are more than just their vaginas. And we don’t think with our vaginas either.

      • Calcat36

Yet, republicans, or more correctly, CONSERVATIVES are accused of having a war on women! It appears in these very ads that democrats/liberals see women as unable to think for themselves as well as wanting to “get HIM easily!”

Where have all of the feminazis gone? Where is the NAG Gang and their opposition to this stereotyping of women?

        • Scott Lanway

Remind me again, which side has actually backed bills that would curtail womens’ rights to control their own bodies?

          • Calcat36

The democrats, via Margaret Sanger, who was a racist and led liberal/progressive idiots on a crusade to believe that killing a baby in the womb is a RIGHT. The fetus is not their body according to you liberals. You all call it a parasite, remember? Confused liberals! “No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child without a permit for parenthood”. And “Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.” ~Margaret Sanger.

Tell me about controlling women again? Your Planned Parenthood is doing so today.

Women should control their own bodies and keep their legs closed if they do not wish to become pregnant. Men should control their own bodies and not willfully and carelessly impregnate women who use abortion as birth control.

Besides, no republican EVER opposed birth control. Your buddy snuffalupagus brought that straw man argument to Mitt-stake, who said, NO ONE IS PROPOSING BANNING BIRTH CONTROL.

Try again, troll. I would remind you of the shameful history of the democrats and their 42 year refusal to support women’s suffrage! Wilson had NO CHOICE (ha!) but to support the 19th Amendment after the republicans won the majority of the House and Senate, which according to senate.gov, Wilson did RELUCTANTLY! Remember all of the pickets (women that protested him) that he threw into jail and work houses where he starved them, beat them, stripped them naked and oppressed them? Yeah, the same Woody that segregated the White House and the Post Office!

            http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/02/22/romney_we_found_out_why_stephanopoulos_asked_about_contraception.html

“Frankly I had thought that at that time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we (WE???) don’t want to have too many of.”
~7/2/09 Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
~ Liberal tool affectionately appointed by Slick Willy, the rapist/impeached president who really declared war on women!

You are reminded. Your party made these sickening ads portraying women as sex crazed sluts in the name of independence and your man-child stutterer in chief.

    • Ryan Schneider.

What use is there in breaking the glass ceiling, when the effort has sawed through the pillars of common sense, and rotted the foundations of morality? The house of civilization is about to collapse.

    • 3seven77

These ads and the “vote with your lady parts” campaign employed in 2012 are exactly how the Democrats view women. To Democrats, women are nothing more than walking vaginas willing to trade their votes for a $9.00 package of contraceptives. Women aren’t just easy. They’re stupid and cheap.

Got Milk? was an ad series paid for by a government fund generated by a tax on milk interestingly enough

  • Zach Smith

How embarrassing for the Democrats and the country.

  • https://www.facebook.com/libertyNvrsleeps Thomas Purcell

The war on women has now taken an ugly turn. Apparently Obamacare is defined as being a way for women to become alcoholic, overweight sluts that seek to gain a man by spreading their legs.

    • Cellec

Actually, Obamacare is for women that have already decided they’re “alcoholic, overweight sl*ts that seek to gain a man by spreading their legs“.

      • Calcat36

A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle! So went the liberal/progressive rally cry! Where are they NOW?

What is happening to liberalism founded on women rejecting everything about men, and settling for metrosexuals? The men in these ads wear more product than the heffers! Think John Edwards. The Breck Girl who is so pretty!

What real MAN would fall prey to these self-admitted sperm burpers?

A woman should be a lady when in the parlor (WITH her HUSBAND who should be a gentleman!), a cook when in the kitchen (WITH her HUSBAND who should be the sous-chef!) and a harlot when in the bedroom (WITH her HUSBAND who should be equally indulgent to her desires!).

  • journogal

Take a good looks at a few of these ads, and if you have any extra money, invest in companies that produce vaccines and medicines for STDs. Heck, if the government is pushing BC, shouldn’t we all benefit. By the for the LIVs out there, contraceptives prevent pregnancies (assuming that it is taken correctly, because with the pill there are many caveats), but not STDs.

    • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Oh, there was a disclaimer at the bottom for the truly stupid.

      • journogal

And I must be one of the really stupid who didn’t catch that. Still, though, I think I’ve found a good investment.

        • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I agree it would be a good investment. lol I do love how they must put the disclaimer. You just know someone would have seen that ad, got an STD and blamed the damn ad.

          • journogal

“But the government didn’t tell me that I would contract syphilis from happily sleeping around! I thought the pill would protect me.”

      • schveiguy

The disclaimer said to use “common sense” to prevent STDs as you bang the hockey team.

        • journogal

And we are assuming LIVs have common sense. I remember years ago, a college friend of mine worked in retail and she told me a story of a woman paying for her clothes and while she was waiting for the transaction to be completed, she took out her pack of the Pill and took one right there.

          • schveiguy

It’s not so much the idea that LIV have or don’t have common sense, it’s that it’s advising common sense AT THE SAME TIME as advising whoring. Like those two go together.

        It just boggles the mind.

On the upside, if there was any doubt about what progs think of women, this has eliminated it.

        • journogal

I would love to see female conservatives and even independent candidates come out and point to these ads as examples as the true War on Women by democrats/progressives.

          • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Oh no, the only way you are “for” for women is if you think they should have sex with anything that catches their fancy and if you think they should be able to kill their own children. Thinking women are smart enough to be able to pay for their own birth control doesn’t figure in to it.

          • HanaFiveO

Apparently not. I can already hear the progs lining up to cry misogyny for the backlash about these ads.

        • $31790545

          • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

            Fridays are better. lol ;-D

          • HanaFiveO

LOL you little nut bar, you!

          • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Sometimes you feel like a nut……

          • HanaFiveO

Not to worry me, there are legions of us. In fact Ive had this discussion about demeaning ones self with one of my nieces when her mother failed to do so.

          • Vitiosum

Thank you! I have a daughter as well and she in no way was raised to behave in a manner unbecoming a young lady. Not that she hasn’t had her moments, but her humility and moral compass are miles above what is portrayed above in the ads.

    • Ryan Schneider.

Unfortunately, some of the TNT being used on the ceiling was dropped on the pillars or reason.

    • trixiewoobeans

Ditto. I fought hard for respect for my abilities, and now women are right back to square one, and have been dumbed-down so much they don’t even know it.

      • HanaFiveO

And they don’t understand that they are throwing away our hard fought gains with both hands, I’m so disgusted.

      • Spinmamma

Actually. having fought that hard fight myself, I think we are in a much worse state than before. All my life I have been working toward having women viewed as much more than their lady parts, and now so many young women seem to want to be viewed primarily as lady parts, including young female lawyers. It sometimes makes me want to curl up in the fetal position.

        • trixiewoobeans

It’s the quick and easy way. Why bother being excellent when you can just be available? What they DON’T see is, so many are available, they’re used and thrown away as casually as Kleenex.

  • Griswold

    Here’s more of the ads.

    http://www.doyougotinsurance.com/

Can’t believe that they think this is great advertising.

  • schveiguy

Anyone notice how “Making it in the real world” = “waiting tables”?

    • Baba Ghanoush

That was my first thought too

    • SkyePuppy

Yeah, but can they afford EVERY flavor of ramen?

    • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

They’re gonna be super famous actresses someday. In porn, yea…but still, that’s acting.

  • Baba Ghanoush

How in the world do we lose elections? Are the people who vote for the other party really this stupid?

    • journogal

It is hard to compete when the other party promises freebies. LIVs don’t want to hear about personal responsibility, hard work, saving, etc. They want it now and want it free.

How embarrassing. This is an ad campaign totally bereft of talent. Wonder which WH employees family member runs the ad agency that was hovering near bankruptcy prior to this injection of government largesse.

  • TheDarkHelmet

Hey, if those girls are under 26 aren’t they supposed to be still on their parents’ plan anyway? Why do they need ‘help’ to buy a policy?

And “all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers?” Really? This is a government sponsored ad? Just when you think our society can’t sink any lower . . .

    • Vitiosum

The Titanic has officially left the dock. The iceberg is very close.

My version and yes I tweeted it out

    • Corey Dennison

      Nice! lol

  • Christian Orpinell

So Obamacare should allow us to have money to spend on what will shut down out livers, and cause more health problems? No. That should come out of your pocket if you wish to bang your head on a wall.

    • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

But you will notice it is red wine. Red wine is good for you, so…..

      • HanaFiveO

These are not women. The are following the “Girls” model laid out by Lena Dunham and fellow travelers.

      • HanaFiveO

Real women value them selves beyond their vagina.

        • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Those giant vagina costumes are just soooo cool though, don’cha know?

          • HanaFiveO

          • QueenB ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Some conservatives should show up in giant penis costumes at the next giant vagina rally. They think we’re d**kheads anyway, so might as well have some fun with it.

Before making statements like that, you should always ask yourself, “who should get the “free” stuff, and at whose expense?”

      • WhoDat

Free at point of use. Surely, there’s enough tax money around to pay for it all.

        • World B. Free

I guess I’m not getting through….. this is typical of the left to believe that the government has an infinite supply of money to spend on whatever whim comes along, without giving a thought to where that money comes from.

        • journogal

Why do I have to pay for other people’s birth control? And how much more taxers should I pay? Tell me, what is “fair” to you? At what point should people take responsibility for themselves and their actions?

        • disappearing moderate

Free condoms have been available at health departments and Planned Parenthood for quite some time.

I don’t need BC or maternity coverage any more, but I will have to pay for it anyway. I could use one of those “lifestyle lifts” like Debbie Boone hawks on TV. Why isn’t that covered? It’s discriminatory and ageist!

        • Corey Dennison

And where does all that magical tax money come from?

          • Arkuy The Great

By taxing the rich, Big Oil, Corporations, Banks and Big Oil, obviously. They can afford all my free stuff!

The fellow in the picture is an actor named Darri Ingolfsson. He was cast as a serial killer (whose sobriquet was “The Brain Surgeon”), in the series Dexter, primarily for the uncanny resemblance to Gosling. It’s a promo shot, from the show itself, that I cut and pasted. No trickery involved.

  • Lamontyoubigdummy

    Where to start.

Are you a skeevy sleazy whore bag? Is your feminist super empowered va-jay-jay a filthy petri dish? Well get covered with Obamacare today you dirty skank!

Then…the fat girl on the fat ball.

Well, at least there’s enough wine in front of her to get you drunk to the point you’d maybe ride that mo-ped. If the skinny “work out partner” (I adopted a fat kid!) gives you a paper bag, you’re all set.

    Good grief.

No, Bryn, I’ts NOT “you”…I agree with you. And I’m a female doggie. Dems accuse the GOP of waging a “war on women” yet continue to paint us as nothing more than stupid Miley Cyrus sex toys with no sense of self control and no ability to take responsibility for our actions.

And thank you Hillary, winner of the Margaret Sanger award!

  • teamfrazzled

How can any self respecting woman take this kind of offensive ad campaign seriously? Women -REAL feminists-spent decades demanding society take us seriously as major contributors because our most valuable asset wasn’t between our legs -only to be told “progress” means seeing despicable leftists once again reveal their contempt for humans in general and women in particular by portraying women as shallow dim witted sex objects whose raison d’être is servicing men looking for cheap, impersonal sex. There is a reason they deliberately used poor grammar and it sure wasn’t because they have respect for the intelligence of their target audience.

    • Bathing Suit Area

I have a former work colleague who fits this to a T. New Year’s Eve 2009 even though she didn’t have much money, she went out drinking and got so wasted so wound up sick to her stomach. Instead of Pepto Bismol and at least going to a free clinic, she used the Emergency Room to pump her stomach. Days later she wrote on FB complaining that her hospital bill was around $4,000 dollars. She whined, “Waaa why won’t Americans pay for health care?”

One person had the audacity to post about personal responsibility and she accused them of not being sensitive and hoped that he never got sick enough to need the Dr. No responsibility on her part whatsoever. I’m sure she”ll freak out and complain once she gets the bill for the “free” healthcare she feels she deserves.
Oh, she ‘unfriended’ me because I was a meany pants Conservative not long after that.

    young and healthy.

Obamacare will need young people to enroll in big numbers to ensure it’s future.

My god! American women are whores! Who knew? All they want to do is get laid courtesy of universal health care. Are we sure this isn’t a tourism ad campaign. Seems like the place to go for sex tours under obama care is now the U.S.

Seriously, what sort of disconnect from reality do you have to have to pass these as acceptable?

This will play well with the fundamentalist islamics who have been calling western women whores for decades. Lets give them more free ammunition for the propaganda machine.

  • Bathing Suit Area

Is there something really terrible here that I’m missing? The mangled grammar of the url is clearly an affectation, and sure, the whole thing is kinda tacky in the way that all advertising is, but beyond that…?

      • therantinggeek

Damn liberals, making people want alcohol and sex and expecting to avoid the consequences*

*Consequences include being arrested for drunk driving, cirrhosis of the liver, contracting STDs including HIV, unwanted pregnancies. ’cause, hey, we want you to have a good time, and still demand that you’re covered in all cases under the Affordable Care Act. Especially these. Thanks, Obama!

        FIFY. 😀

if that big bertha girl spent less money on big macs and twinkies, maybe she’d have enough left over to pay for her own birth control, instead of sticking the bill to you and me.

  • forgetyoutooo

Liberals sure do know their base and aren’t afraid to make them look like the fools WE know they are. Embarrassing.

  • sally Ride

I feel so sorry for my kids . . .

  • happyscrapper

Me and my family thinks them idiots need to go back to skool and lurn grammer and spelling. Then, on to church to lurn moral valus. We are in bad truble hear people!! By the way, that was sarcasm, not how I talk or spell!! Just in case you think everyone in this country is brain dead. By the way, wasn’t there a big flack and a bunch of lawsuits against the birth control provisions they are forcing on the people who don’t believe in that because of religious beliefs? So…what happened with that? They are now FLAUNTING the fact that they are stomping on the First Amendment? These people are beyond stupid and in the realm of pond scum evil.

Hey, thanks for the vapid insights, happycrapper!

  • goolia

wow these ads purely show how delusional the left and liberals are. something’s not right with their minds.

When is the fat chick going to the Mooch’s food re-education camp? She is obviously eating more than her “fair share” and refusing to “Just Move” as commanded!

Question is: Is that a pre-existing condition?

Not to mention drinking alcohol while “working out!” Twisted liberalism on display.

  • 1irishdell

I absolutely CANNOT believe that the people that created this campaign are defending it so solidly, claiming that “People get upset when you portray women as independent.” -ProgressNow Colorado executive director Amy Runyon-Harms” Keep shooting yourself in the arse, lady. You won’t have a pot to piss in soon. We need a SERIOUS change in DC!! Kick out everyone and start the f over!!

    • Calcat36

Independence? Does that idiot celebrate Sluts Day on July 4th? Since when is independence defined as casual and/or reckless, uncommitted sexual trysts?

That idiot sounds like a REGRESSIVE with respect to women.

  • Vision Rider

Keep every one busy between the covers and they won’t see what is under the covers of Obamacare.

  • Basset_Hound

Hey Seniors – once the people in these ads figure out that their premiums will skyrocket because of people like YOU, watch them turn your existences into a living Hell so that you’ll be more than ready to go to the Jack Kervorkian Memorial Assisted Suicide Center in your home town. In fact, I’ll bet they wheedle you, threaten you, abuse you, and even insist that you get in the car so they can drive you there.

    • Calcat36

Just like Boxer! Off to the knacker! While Napoleon Ozero tells your family that you are going to the hospital! Once you fall, seasoned citizens… you will not be getting back up on your feet! How soon y’all forget:

This is my favorite part of the ads: PP even thought it was a joke, and condemned it… before they realized it was a real ad!!! I’m not joking

And I borrowed some of the material from the “How to convince your GF to get an abortion” piece somebody on LA dug up.

  • Robert Matthews

It’s good I have easy access to birth control because men have easy access to me.

  • Greg Pettijohn

Lets see…Obama pushing sex and hard alcohol….Great message were sending…

  • Scott Lanway

So y’all oppose abortion, yet you also oppose easier access to the best method of *preventing* abortion. Totally reasonable. Makes about as much sense as an “anchor baby” railing against immigration reform…oh wait, one of those helped start this site. My bad.

    • Keninmo

Surely you can’t really be as stupid as your post implies. But then again….

  • Calcat36

“If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny.”

  • lcky9

we can all hope that enough liberals take enough birth control they can no longer reproduce..THINK of all the votes the left will be losing by these morons taking birth control and having abortions because they aren’t having kids.. BTW do these hoes know that STD’s are NOT prevented with birth control?? Must say the left is making the 60’s look prudish,,
