That’s our POTUS! Makin’ the ladies swoon!

During this morning’s Rose Garden presser, The Lightbringer’s sweet words about the magnificence of Obamacare nearly brought one piece of prop-aganda to her knees:

Let’s go to the videotape:

This means something. This is important:

Serious metaphor:

Perfect.

Bring on the gifs:

Someone haaaaaaalp!

https://twitter.com/Matthops82/status/392319341795889152

Snort.

But no paralegals necessary this time. President Obama was there to save the day:

POTUS has to be used to the knight-in-shining-armor routine by now. After all:

https://twitter.com/Will_Antonin/status/392319511388753920

We know! Right?

Anyway, while President Obama’s catching women in his manly arms, tweeters are busy trying to diagnose the fainting damsel’s problem:

We can definitely relate.

Editor’s note: This post has been updated with additional tweets and video.

  • Republicanvet

    Oh Julia…

  • Republicanvet

    Get that girl some ObamaCare?

She looks like she was taking advantage of the free birth control provision all night.

  • BoscoBolt

Well, maybe if she cut back on the DWS hair grease, she would feel better.

  • Richard Wayne

She must have eaten a Michelle Obama approved Breakfast….

    • ObamaFail

Yeah, it’s a known fact that not eating enough can cause you to become light-headed, and if she’s eating a Moochelle approved breakfast she didn’t get much food on her stomach before going out there.

  • World B. Free

Barky looks so clueless while it’s happening.

Heck, he looks clueless ALL the time.

  • JoeMyGodNYC

She was wearing a transdermal morning sickness patch called Scopolamine. Also prescribed for severe motion sickness. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zBawpLmT378/UmVZd5_gw8I/AAAAAAACnWI/GQbBKjcNAJc/s1600/patch.jpg

    • therantinggeek

Must’ve worn off during the speech.

By the way, Joe, how ’bout dem Giants? Will Owen pay them another visit tonight?

      • JoeMyGodNYC

The Giants being 0-6 is the joke of the town. The Post is being especially brutal with their headlines. I had a ticket offer for tonight’s Viking game, but turned it down a month ago because I didn’t think I’d be in town. Regretting that now…

        • ObamaFail

Speaking of the Giants, what the hell has happened to Eli Manning? Last year people on Bleacher Report were calling him “Elite Eli,” now he’s throwing more interceptions than touchdowns.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

After that disastrous Bears game, the Post went nuclear on the front page.

          • therantinggeek

So, will Coughlin be on his way out at the end of this season?

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Yeah some are already calling for his head, but there’s also a lot of sympathy for him after his brother died from falling out a taxi on the way home from the Broncos game. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/giants-coach-loses-brother-freak-taxi-fall-article-1.1460563

          • therantinggeek

            Hadn’t heard about that…

          • TomJB

Nah, whenever these fire Coughlin rumors come up, the Gints win the Super Bowl the next year…

          • ObamaFail

My brother has been flooding my Facebook home page with the “Eli Face.”

          • John W.

The woman who fainted also had the “Eli Face”.

        • therantinggeek

At least you caught the joke about “Owen”. :) Bonus points for that.

    • Republicanvet

Wow. That was fast. Did the lapdogs report her shoe size too?

    • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

and your info is thought up or fact?
if fact who told you this? HIPPA violation!

      • JoeMyGodNYC

The “mommy bloggers” recognized the patch over on DU. My sister wears them on cruises. They last for 72 hours versus taking Dramamine or whatever five times a day…

        • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

          so speculation is Joe’s rule.

        • GsGirl

You’re referring to scopolamine patches, and they have nothing to do with diabetes or pregnancy. And Dramamine is taken once every 24 hours.

    • William Kent Jenkins

Is that what you have on your head ?

    • Tyler Lindemann

She’s wearing a Dexcom G4 Platinum continuous glucose monitor for her Type 1 Diabetes.

    • ashjo85

Actually she’s Type 1 diabetic. That was her infusion site for her insulin pump. I know, because I have those myself.

  • Republicanvet

Ok, I only looked at the animated .gif, but I call BS.
She didn’t even hit the floor, but Barky turned around and knew immediately which person was supposedly fainting. She was waving around a little, but it wasn’t obvious who it could be in the short time Preezy Kickass turned around and sprang into action.

He didn’t look up or left or right, but right at her as if she kicked him in the ass on cue.

    • Hiawatha_Laughing_Water

      My thoughts exactly.

      Can you say “Rehearse much?”

    • Rightturn

There are people all about him who could very easily have been looking right at her as she’s causing a distraction. It happens all the time, the concentrated gaze of many people can draw the gaze of others to the same spot. Crazy, huh?

    • thohan

The president seems given to histrionics. While what you say is speculation, you know you couldn’t put it past him.

  • TYPE O NEGATIVE

Obama is so long winded, she couldn’t take it anymore

    • nc ✓s & balances

He even joked about that, saying that’s what happens when I talk too long. Ha ha hardy ha.

      • Rosalie

        He’s so darn clever.

    • Andy from Beaverton

“This is what happens when I talk too long,” Obama joked before wrapping up his speech.
That explains why I’ve been feeling sick since he has been elected. I wonder if someone gave her some Obama-Aid?

    • John W.

The speech would have taken less time if it had not been interrupted by applause so many times. Since this Rose Garden appearance was billed as a press conference, evidently the reporters were the ones doing all the applauding (as usual).

  • https://youtu.be/h82D5ZvcALM CrustyB

She passed out from an overdose of bullsh*t.

    • Hiawatha_Laughing_Water

Being right behind and downwind of the pile sure didn’t help matters much… 😉

  • ObamaFail

That last tweet has it right. Obama was spinning so hard out there that his figurative spinning made her literally dizzy.

  • Hiawatha_Laughing_Water

    Drah-ma School Dropout…

Didn’t anyone ever tell you that, when someone is either on the verge of fainting or has fainted, the LAST thing they want to do is smile or manage to remain steady enough to be walked away by one person?

And then there’s the smiling friend holding her hand in the line-up…doesn’t even look at her, doesn’t really show concern…

    • Marcy Cook

Bingo! The smile is what got me too. FAKO!!!!!

I’ve fainted before. I know how it works.

      • Hiawatha_Laughing_Water

Ditto,Marcy. Been there, done that…hated it.

      • Emily B

Yeah, and how could she just walk away? I’ve fainted before too, and I certainly wasn’t walking for a few minutes.

    • TomJB

Ive passed out before. One thing that happens is you certainly don’t stare straight ahead; once you start getting splotchy vision, your eyes start blinking and moving around -a lot- and you don’t focus on anything as all your attention goes internal.

On the bright side for this lady, I near MSNBC has already signed her to a prime-time slot.

  • John

it was all the wind coming out of POTUS’ ass

  • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

  • CarlottaVonFun

Actually, it was that hairstyle affecting her equilibrium.

  • DaMello ®

I’m willing to bet it was all staged.

  • John

Can’t wait for SNL this weekend!

  • Jack Deth

How does a woman “faint” in the middle of October?!!!

    Sloppily staged and pathetically executed.

  • Walter Nash

It’s all that oil in her hair. Standing directly in the sunlight, it started frying her brain.

  • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

In all seriousness– no joke– square biz:

That lady appears to be going through a petit-mal epileptic seizure. (Sorta like “zoning-out-on-steroids.”)

I’ll grant, it looks way too convenient for it to have happened the way it did.
Perhaps she simply “forgot” to take her medication this morning– possible?
Told, “You’ll be in the front row”?

Still a put-up-job, to be sure— but after many will question the “theatric optics,” will we now hear, “You cruel heartless people, making fun of the afflicted!” as they produce her medical history?

    Stranger things have happened.

    • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

It occurred…And they showed up and said how cruel and heartless we are…The sheeple!

  • Brett the Brit

More than likely she was overcome by the fumes of all that BS.

  • John Bibb

    ***
The woman seemed to have a spaced out look on her face. Like a 7 decades old Bob Hope movie where one of the actors said, “…walking around with strange looks on their faces–like Zombies!” At which point Hope said, “Like Democrats?” Way ahead of his time.
    ***
This woman may have been one of the “preexisting condition” props for Comrade Obama’s (PBUH!) “stay the course” speech. Just keep trying to log in, phone in, mail in, or have His Acorn “navigators” sign you up. For far more costly insurance with far higher payment threshold limits.
    ***
Titanic lookout, “Captain–iceberg!–dead ahead! In the fogbank! Recommend full reverse, hard left full rudder!”
    ***
Titanic captain, “Belay that! Full speed ahead! Brace for impact! This ship is unsinkable! We’ll just cut through the berg.”
    ***
CRASH!! Epic judgement fail. Fox Cable TV News cut away before the end of the speech. I was waiting for President Obama’s “hard pivot” to go back into the friendly confines of the White House. Before any American Pravda Media “reporters” or people in the hand picked audience could ask any questions of Him.

If the Titanic HAD hit the berg head-on, it wouldn’t have sunk nearly as fast, and all those other than those in the fo’c’sle who’d be killed on impact would have been evacuated.

      Bad analogy.

      • tobsters777

Really? “wouldn’t have sunk nearly as fast”… hmmm… but the point is it would have STILL SUNK!

“Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!” — Adm David Farragut

For those of you who need an interpretation of this phrase… (idiomatic) Used to dismiss the risks of a dangerous action.

        • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

By the time the lookout was able to see it, they had about a little under a minute to do something. They tried avoiding it, but it was the way that move exposed the ship’s side below the water line that caused the damage that literally sunk her.

And a head-on collision need not have sunk her– cf. the Stockholm, 1956– but even if it had, the Carpathia would have arrived long before the Titanic went down, and would have helped evacuate the ship– and between the both of them SOS’ing, other ships would have come to relieve some of the shipwrecked-passenger load off the Carpathia.

The girl has an insulin pump on her arm. She was fainting from low blood sugar.

    • nedsatomic

It looks like a Continuous Glucose Monitor sensor to me.

Please stop with the snarky comments about this woman. She’s a well respected diabetic blogger. She very clearly had a serious hypoglycemic event today. Cut her some slack.

Could that “event” have had anything to do with standing for a long period in the sun to be used as a political prop?

I’ve had to listen to my President call me one of his “enemies” for the last 5 years. If that’s the case, everyone on his side is my enemy. No slack here.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MM.

  • Kelly / Diabetes

She happens to have type 1 diabetes, is pregnant & was experiencing a low blood sugar. She’s also a respected Diabetes Advocate & Journalist and is my friend.
The “patch” on her arm was a continuous glucose monitor sensor and as far as the “smiling,” when you’re battling a severe low blood sugar and trying to keep it together, you’re nervous – all bets are off in how you’ll look or act – Your Diabetes May Vary.
Your jokes and comments aren’t funny – They are incredibly tasteless & mean spirited.

    • brightfartbanned me

If she has that good a job, what the hell is she doing signing up for that sh*t ??

“Your jokes and comments aren’t funny – They are incredibly tasteless & mean spirited.” I hope you remember your statement when Cruz or another conservative is ripped apart (or even have their home address along with death threats) on Twitter and throughout the media; however, I doubt you will.
      Thank you for the lecture.

    • Nedsatomic

As a mom of a kid with Type I diabetes, I urge everyone to stop the snark. Hypo events are no freaking joke. Get it together, Twitchy. You are better than this! Why are folks personally attacking this woman? Get some class. Good lord, I’d rather hang out with Nancy Pelosi than listen to the likes of you guys today.

    • therealguyfaux ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I had guessed unmedicated epilepsy, but my point, made before, still goes– when there is a chance that, with certain health protocols not observed, a person can put themselves into a particular position, one which redounds to another particular person’s success image-wise, a put-up-job is not out of the question.

And sure enough, I was right— all the “How-dare-you’s” came out, as if on cue.

I scare myself sometimes with my knack for “lucky guessing.”

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil ✓Mate

Allowing oneself to be used as a political pawn is not the way to avoid jokes and comments.

You know what else is tasteless and mean spirited? Hearing the President that is supposed to be the leader of the country, refer to half the citizens as “enemies”, “hostage-takers” and terrorists” because they disagree with him on policy.

My dad had diabetes and had to give himself a shot every morning when I was a kid. He’s dead now. The Pity Train doesn’t stop at this station.

      • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

        Well said Tug!
The polarizing on a demise regardless the “label” of the demise, harms a person; and in facts can and does paralyze them in to or onto a path of gloom and doom, you live the demise and you don’t learn anything else about your body, nor do you learn anything else about what to put in your body, and when. Learning to eat right because we’re always in a hurry and drink water (about a teaspoon every 15 minutes) does do a body a wealth of staying alive or not fainting. 😉
There is no organ in the human body that will function without food and water.

        ….

Govern/ment systems of Health Care create Demise, after demise, after demise, after demise…and God they are NOT!

        Govern/self as God sees fit!

      • bluewaternavy

        Damned right!
My niece Charlie Foxtroted her glucose monitoring some years back, nearly died from it as well. when her friends told her how sad it was that it had happened, she told them that SHE was to blame-and no one and nothing else. Her words: “I f**ked up, lesson learned”

    • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

Hopefully you got her some food and water.
Polarizing on her demise, does nothing for her. She needs to pay closer attention to what she has had to eat, and when, and whether she is hydrated as well. Your lecture was very unnecessary.
Friends come in all shapes and sizes.

      • Kelly / Diabetes

Blood sugar can go down at the drop of a hat – So apparently my lecture was necessary.

        • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

No your lecture is not necessary. Blood sugar can go up at a drop of a hat. And apparently you may go Preach to some other choir. You are Not God! Bye!

          • Kelly / Diabetes

Never said or implied that I was God. Not quite sure where that came from, but whatever.

        • mike_in_kosovo

“Blood sugar can do down at the drop of a hat”

Only if you take your insulin and then don’t eat.

“So apparently my lecture was necessary”

No, not really – and neither was the disinformation.

          • Kelly / Diabetes

Hate to break it to you, but that’s not the only thing that causes low blood sugar. Being nervous can cause blood sugar issues. So can pregnancy, hormones, sickness, increased physical activity.

          • mike_in_kosovo

Maybe she should have thought of those issues before agreeing to be a human prop for his speech.

My money is on a ‘parade ground pass-out’. Nervous, locked out her knees…. lights out.

          • Kelly / Diabetes

I’m sure she did, but diabetes doesn’t always behave, regardless of how many precautions a person takes to keep it in check.

          • GsGirl

Bulls#it…two bulls#its even…I work in medicine, and have for 30 years…and it’s not a matter of diabetes ‘behaving’…it’s a matter of living a lifestyle to keep things stable. And if what you are saying were actually true, then again, they should have been prepared for that. You’re talking in circles again.

          • Kelly / Diabetes

You obviously don’t know much about diabetes – especially type 1 diabetes, because if you did you’d know that shit happens when it comes to living with diabetes- no many how many precautions you take. And it’s quite obvious have deep seeded issues that run much deeper than the ACA if you believe that a person with a chronic disease can’t attend a Presidential speech.

          • mike_in_kosovo

And it’s quite obvious have deep seeded issues that run much deeper than the ACA if you believe that a person with a chronic disease can’t attend a Presidential speech.

Projection, thy name is Kelly / Diabetes. Nobody (besides you) is saying that a person with a chronic disease can’t attend a Presidential speech, what they’re saying is that maybe your friend should have passed on being a human prop if she was having that much problems controlling her sugar (and the attendant problems therein).

          • Kelly / Diabetes

I don’t believe she thinks of herself as a human prop – that’s your belief, not hers

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

So, who sends you here to spout for you and her. Kelly / Diabetes…Just happen stance, you say?

          • mike_in_kosovo

            That’s your belief, not hers

Pro-tip: It wasn’t *ME* that decided that being on a stage for a speech was more important than managing my poorly-controlled diabetes and ensuring the safety/wellbeing of my unborn child.

          • Kelly / Diabetes

PRO-TIP: Stop being such an assuming asshat.

          • mike_in_kosovo

Indeed, maybe you should given all the assuming you’ve been doing in this thread.

          • GsGirl

LOL! It’s come to this now, huh? When you’re called on the carpet for your posts, you start insulting? Why does that not surprise me.

          • GsGirl

Of course she doesn’t think she is a human prop – most people who are innocently used don’t think along those lines.

          • GsGirl

Thank you, Mike…makes me feel a lot better about the 10 years I spent studying to be able to use the title of “Dr.” In front of my name…oh, and Kelly? If you’re going to insult me, at least use the proper insult. It’s “deep-seated”, not “deep-seeded”. I don’t have potatoes growing out of my ears. And again, as Mike pointed out, I never said your friend couldn’t go to a function. I said if she has issues, they should have prepared for the worst…would it kill them to out out a chair for her, ‘just in case’…poorly planned…just like Obamacare.

          • bluewaternavy

            Bingo!
worry about health first! Fame and being used of a prop is secondary.

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

You obviously care only about spewing what you Think! And all that you think is and is just that Your Think! Again, You are you, you live inside of your body, not someone else’s. And your drill and grill “lecture” is only a sympathetic position and we are not needing, wanting or desiring your medical Merck Manual prognosis, nor is it factual for anyone else. Repeat diabetes, 4000000 times and it will consume you, and that is an estimate that you have probably said Type 1 Diabetes for 30 years.

          • Kelly / Diabetes

Clearly you have so many issues – Good luck getting the help & peace you need – I’ll pray for you. God bless.

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

And help all people need. And prayers to you! God Bless!
Live Your Life, not in a demise! We don’t have scars on our palms nor on the tops of our feet. You are alive, live it!

          • nedsatomic

Goodness, I sure hope I never run into your medical practice. Perhaps you need a refresher course.

          • GsGirl

Don’t misunderstand. My point was that diabetes can be controlled. And my bigger point was that they should have planned to have a chair for her if they thought there was a possibility that she might have issues with fainting, low blood sugar, etc. Obviously she’s had these issues before, so why was there no plan to make her comfortable, ‘just in case’…Kelly / Diabetes is screaming about that all over this thread. And if you were to run into my medical practice, with Obamacare in place, you wouldn’t be able to be my patient for many months.

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

            Diabetes doesn’t behave?
So, diabetes is an entire separate entity from your body?

          • Kelly / Diabetes

Well, in the sense that sometimes no matter how many precautions you may take with your diabetes it still does what it want – Yeah.

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

No Kelly. You are sadly mistaken. It doesn’t do what it wants.

          • bluewaternavy

Mike, judging by the way she was moving, she didn’t seem to lock her knees. She may have started doing so after she got light headed-trying to stay upright. wish we had a full shot to make sure. I well-remember Parade ground pass outs-which irritated our CC’s no end! 😉

          • GsGirl

I was in drill team in high school. The first thing they told us was ‘don’t lock your knees’ :-)

          • mike_in_kosovo

We had a girl go straight down on her face, still in parade rest…busted her chin up pretty good.

          • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

            Demise.

          • GsGirl

Then again, I ask, if she’s wearing a glucose monitor, it’s obvious that she’s had problems before. Why weren’t they prepared for that? Because she was being used as a tool. If they really, truly cared about her condition, they would have had a chair for her to sit in if she started not feeling well. I am hypoglycemic, and while lots of things can cause issues with that, I am WELL prepared no matter where I go so that I don’t have to worry about fainting, etc. And by the way, what was so important about her that she had to stand right behind Obama?

          • mike_in_kosovo

And by the way, what was so important about her that she had to stand right behind Obama?

Pre-existing condition (insured) and *Hope*-ing that she’ll have more options for coverage under ACA.

Oh – and the whole ‘human prop’ thing, of course.

Silly me…I should have known that, Mike! I guess I just keep hoping that maybe Obama and his goons actually have a heart.

      • nedsatomic

Wow. Do you have Type I? Do you know what it is like to have your blood sugar plummet and you can’t fix it fast enough? Why is everyone attacking this woman for having a serious hypo event? I’ve seen my daughter go from having a completely normal blood sugar to a complete crash in minutes. Have you ever had to pick your kid off the floor after a big crash? Have you?! If not, then STFU.

Don’t get me wrong. I hate Obamacare. I don’t hate the girl standing behind Obama. Get it together, people.

        • OLLPOH ~ OurLifeLiberty

Tell yourself to STFU! Your blanket statement is just that Yours!

          • nedsatomic

Wow. I wish Type I was just as simple as “make sure your child is following their treatment schedule!” Spend one day in my kid’s shoes and I dare you to ever say that again. My kid tests her blood sugar 8 times a day and she takes 6 shots of insulin per day. You think you could do that, tough guy?! You think you could do that with kidney disease and thyroid disease in addition to the diabetes? Nope, I didn’t think you could. I lost my dad to diabetes 11 days before my daughter was born. Screw you, diabetes.

What the hell…blanket statement? Nope, I’m just a mom of a diabetic kid…nothing more, nothing less. I worry that every night my kid is going to have a big bad hypo and not wake up. Screw you, diabetes. As for you, I stand by my original big wet wool blanket statement, STFU!

        • mike_in_kosovo

“Have you ever had to pick your kid off the floor after a big crash? Have you? If not, then STFU”

Maybe YOU should STFU and make sure your child is following their treatment schedule – you know, things like making sure they eat after their insulin so they don’t crash?

          • bluewaternavy

A lot of people don’t eat before a public appearance as they are often afraid of puking. Depending how far along she is pregnancy-wise, she likely didn’t eat because of morning sickness. That’s even more reason to avoid such a stressful situation. Those with her should have advised her to not attend.

        • bluewaternavy

I’ve seen my niece crash and picked her up more time that I ever want to admit-and she’s very prudent about what she does in the way of activity.
The point remains is that she should NEVER been at event like this pregnant AND type 1. That’s begging for a s**tpot trouble

No, inheriting years of debt cannot be fixed ‘asap’. The first thing you can do, however, is to level it off by stopping the spending. This boondoggle is adding TRILLIONS to the debt!

    • GsGirl

Then what the hell was she doing at a function like this? Why didn’t they have a chair for her if there was a possibility that this could happen? And stop talking down to us like we’re 5 years old. There’s no way I’m going to believe this wasn’t staged. As much as Obama thinks he’s the messiah, he does not have eyes in the back of his head to see that she was pre-syncopal.

    A couple of things:
    1. If you’re THAT diabetic, you know that certain situations will cause your blood sugar to tank or spike. Why would you put your body through that? Just for 10 seconds of fame? My health is more important to me than that.

    2. I’ve fainted from low blood sugar. I remember getting really, really fuzzy-headed then ticked off at everyone and everything…then the bottom fell out from under me. Mr. SturJen picked me up off the bathroom floor moments later. That’s when I realized the importance of listening to my body’s clues and keeping a protein bar in my pack at all times. It only takes 1 or 2 bites, but it keeps me off the floor.

    3. Not a snowball’s chance in Hades I’d sign up for this train wreck. Too intrusive, too expensive too wrong to fix anything. I’ve got a few doctors I know that take cash. That’s my go-to.

    • SturJen

      And pregnant to boot!

“Oh never mind that I might get sick, pass out and land on my unborn child and injure him/her. Or worse yet………end up in a coma…….I got to stand behind TEH ONE!!! Hail the messiah!!”

Some years ago, I happened across a story in which the “Rev” Al Charlatan publicized a photo, purportedly of a policeman beating a helpless elderly black man, at one of Al’s events.

This was well over the line for one of the news cameramen who had been there at the event, and had been taping for quite a while.

The tape showed that the man had deliberately taken a pratfall, and that the policemen was helping him up— not wrestling him down. The photo was taken at the instant that the man, lying on the ground, had the policeman over him, with the policeman’s hands reaching down.

Nobody held their breath waiting for Rev Al’s retraction and apology.

Why are you people such pathetic liars?

        • journogal

So says the bot who created an account (or a second account) just for this topic. This has nothing to do with “Steel Magnolias,” simpleton. Weren’t you screeching earlier about low sugar fall out?
If you have ever been pregnant before, you know there are certain activities you shouldn’t do – flying in the second and third are not recommended for anyone because of developing blood clots on long flights because of poor circulation from not walking. Take that and add in her Type One diabetes – flying and standing for long periods really isn’t the best decision to make for her and her unborn child (or as liberals referred to it “fetus,” “cluster of cells,” or “punishment.”)

  • Acethepug

Staged, fake as hell. Amazing coincidence that she was directly in frame, and even more coincidental that she doesn’t let go of her friend’s hand AND that Obama seems to know exactly when to turn — while the people to either side of her don’t seem to react until President Snake-Oil Peddler turns …

Once again it looks like our Illustrious Dear Leader has resorted to his version of Grand Theater of Distraction. In this episode, he seeks to assuage the angry villagers over the lack of a functioning so-called health care website, much less a functional new fandangled healthcare system. To add color to the cause, and to emphasize his point, he, once again, adds a bit of what might have surely been a potential crisis in front of the cameras, over his right shoulder (notice his RIGHT shoulder), we see the woeful sight of a fainting damsel. “Oh woe!!!” he cries in feigned surprise. He quickly offers a guiding and steady hand to her as she is swept off the stage by ready accomplices (from hidden positions no less).

This sounds like an outtake from an old silent movie and it is of that exact caliber. Here he is, facing yet another crisis. To dodge this one (just like all the others), he inserts a distraction to gain our sympathy AND to build up his image as the custodial and caring parent.

Sorry folks, we don’t buy this theater in the least. We hope that the woman is fine, but this theater doesn’t cut it in the least.
