Earlier this summer, Fox News announced that Megyn Kelly would be moving to primetime when she returned from maternity leave. Many speculated as to where she’d fall into the schedule.

This morning, Matt Drudge reports that Kelly will take over the network’s plum 9 p.m. slot:

Wow.

Many people are now wondering what how this will affect Sean Hannity, whose show currently airs at 9 p.m.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how this develops.

‘Bring it on, Megyn Kelly’: Piers Morgan readies for ratings battle

***

Update:

Via Deadline Hollywood:

FNC CEO Roger Ailes, being interviewed by Fox Business News anchor Neil Cavuto at a 21st Century Fox investors confab this afternoon, said, when asked about the report Megyn Kelly was getting Sean Hannity’s 9 PM timeslot:  “All of our stars will be back.” Ailes gave Hannity a ringing endorsement, calling him a brand loved by viewers.

Gretta will be moving too daytime.

    • philips66

Greta says she has a contract for her show with FoxNews, which specifies “in prime time”

      • http://gingerandcoblog.com Laura Elizabeth

Yeah, there’s no way she’d let them drop her to day time.

        • JohnDanforth

Her ratings are down 23%. Never know…

          • ChristCrusader

yeah, contract could be pegged to certain ratings threshold requirement

          • Randall Williams

well , she’s kind of an air head . did you see the interview she had with trump a few weeks ago ??? it was sad . I felt sorry for the ole girl .

        • Larry Conner

Daytime would be fine as I work and would not have to change channels……..

      • fletro

My understanding is that she requested to go to a daytime slot.

        • TocksNedlog

          And you heard this WHERE?

        • William Hildebrand

It was a daytime slot at CNN.

          • theboss1230

This is what I understood also

        • breezygopher

          Thats what i heard too

        • DinaSews

I heard that Gretchen Carlson was moving to a daytime slot. I assumed it would be Megyn’s but I guess that was an assumption on my part.

          • CHHR

They actually announced that she is taking over at least one hour of Megyn’s time slot… They haven’t announced yet, but it seems they may be breaking up that three hours.

          • Melissa Olson Tate

Just hope they don’t give one of those slots to Jamie Colby. She is so fake!

      • IMPEACH_BOBO

I wish Hannity would get Shepards spot at 4 pm & Sheps 7 pm slot, I would watch that !!!! Shep is a FLEEBAGGING [email protected], he isn’t fooling anyone, he is a prime example of a RINO ( Republican In Name Only ) !!!!!

        • Robert Patrick Moscato

Shepard leaned more to the Right in his early years at FNC. After Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast, he began to move more to the left. He has his moments but he’s definitely more liberal than he once was.

          • mawmawd

Shepard needs to stay away from New Orleans and the subject of Katrina which he knows too little about and is so biased! I live in the area and don’t need him spouting off on the subject!

        • journogal

Hannity has his radio show at during the 4 p.m. hour.

        • Melissa Olson Tate

I like Shep, it’s time for Hannity to go!

          • Jill

Hannity’s ratings are far better than Smith’s, which have tumbled in recent years.

          • Melissa Olson Tate

I’m just posting a personal preference. I don’t really care about ratings. No offence intended. I think Hannity is starting to go the way of Glen Beck…same thing night after night. I’m just tired of him.

          • Jill

Same way as Glenn Beck? I doubt Hannity would see owning a very successful and innovative network and surpassing Oprah in terms of media wealth as a downgrade.

          • ocviewer

I agree. At times his show is good but so much is such a rehash and I don’t think he interviews very well either. Oreilly’s the best!

          • Pamela Buder

            No way.

        • planotxAmerican

          SO AGREE!

        • ocviewer

That’s what I always thought!! Glad to hear someone else say it too. Can’t stand him and always change the channel.

      • JuliaSherrill

Greta’s career catapulted @ Fox when the OJ Simpson / Nichole Simpson murder debacle began. It started on her watch. So, who’s to say she couldn’t go back to daytime? I do watch her in the evening. Maybe Hannity’s running for President! :)

        • kryp44

Greta was on MSNBC in 94-95 during the OJ mess. Fox didn’t take off till late 90’s.

          • Charlotte Green

            MSNBC or CNN?

          • TrishJensen

Greta was on CNN during OJ. I know this because I didn’t yet have CourtTV (which is now a joke as TruTV), and I watched the trial religiously. At that point I despised her because she seemed so pro defense. I’ve now grown a new respect for her because she books the best guests. But my respect will return to zero (just like with the POTUS) if she returns to CNN. I’ll never see her again, as I would NEVER turn to that channel

          • Charlotte Green

that was when I first saw her as well. No CNN for me as well. Thanks Trish <3

    • Robert Patrick Moscato

Do you think the rumor that she was thinking of returning to CNN a tactic to keep her in Primetime?? Maybe they’ll extend Primetime through the 11 O’Clock hour??

      • Cat Rintalan

WHAT IF ITS IN THE ENEMIES CAMP??

    • Judy Reinhardt

I read that Greta would not be opposed to daytime because her husband is battling cancer.

      • ChrisinOregon

oh, that is sad to hear, Judy. I was not aware of that….

      • ocviewer

Very sorry to hear that. Did not know.

  • CHHR

I love Megyn and I love Greta… excellent line-up at 9 & 10 for FOX! DVR is ready to go!

    • TLC

I think it’s good to have strong Conservative women in prime time to show the world that women aren’t inherently liberal, like the other media would like to make everybody think.

  • Richard Wayne

Please get rid of O’reilly and move hannity to 8….

    • obamaiscarter

Yeah, something tells me they aren’t going to get rid of the guy who has had the highest rated cable news show for the past decade.

    • Pilgrim22

Isn’t O’Reilly the number one news show. I doubt he’s going anywhere.

      • Phakt

It is. He represents the Conservative mainstream. Freedom of personal finance and economy but government control of your personal lives.

        • jb

” Freedom of personal finance and economy but government control of your personal lives”. that’s not the Conservative mainstream.

          • Ryan Kelly

You bet it’s the mainstream for people that call themselves “conservative.” O’Reilly doesn’t even like being called conservative to begin with, so there’s that.

          • ocviewer

            True.

          • Phakt

Then you are not a Conservative. You lean more Libertarian. Just like there are not may Liberals anymore. They are all Statists.

          • jb

statists want government control of your personal lives — not conservatives.

          • Phakt

Main stream Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates “traditional values.” They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

          • danbeerzilla

            Pretty accurate

          • CHHR

Yea, that’s why conservatives want gun control, food control, higher taxes… etc…oh wait…

          • Richard Wayne

Don’t forget how we want to control what light bulbs they use, control over the smallest of amateur farming, and even the types of toilets people use…

          • CHHR

Unfortunately this blog is not conducive of the exhaustive list of controls we conservatives are being blamed for and had nothing to do with… amazing how they can call us the “sleeping giant” and yet have so much time to actually push liberal think.

          • AmericanLass

Conservatives want dirty air and dirty water don’t ya know.

          • journogal

And children and elderly to starve.

          • Charlotte Green

            poor thing 2.

          • CHHR

oh wait, control, you know everyone of any “intelligence” knows it begins with the so called Conservative War on Women. FOX must be covertly sticking them out on the front lines to be shot at by Piers, MSNBC, and other ‘tough guys’.
have to admit THAT’s a war worth watching! Like they’re saying… “bring it on!”

          • scooper1028

Sadly, that’s true. Conservatives in the House have introduced bills to completely abolish the EPA as well as bills to defund its enforcement mechanisms.

Historically, conservatives have mostly been on the wrong side of history. Conservatives were the loyalists – fully opposed to the American Revolution. While 56 patriots signed the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, over 720 conservatives signed the Declaration of Dependence in New York. Conservatives were pro slavery, insisting that it be included in the Constitution. Southern conservatives attempted to destroy the nation, sparking the Civil War. Up until Germany declared war on the USA on 11 Dec 1941, most conservatives were pro-Nazi, threatening FDR with impeachment if he attempted to enter the war on the side of France and England.

Conservatives fought against child labor laws, a minimum wage, and supported yellow dog contracts. They opposed public education, social security and medicare. They championed Jim Crow segregation and opposed fluoridation of the water supply.

They are on the wrong side of history again with an almost insane obsession to repeal Obamacare. Never mind that American is the only advanced nation without universal healthcare. Never mind that America is the only advanced nation where tens of thousands of citizens every year are bankrupted by a single medical event. Never mind that American healthcare is ranked 37th while we pay over twice as much per capita as other advanced nations.

Fortunately, Obamacare will not be repealed. Two generations from now, our grandchildren will wonder out loud why the conservatives ever thought that it was somehow beneficial to the nation to have tens of millions of citizens without healthcare.

          • CHHR

your points are so laughable and silly they’re not worth responding to other than to say I’m Still laughing you actually believe CONSERVATIVES want to “abolish the EPA.” Tears in my eyes prevented me from reading the rest of your bloviating.

          • scooper1028

Rep Michele Bachmann – “And I guarantee you the EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) will have doors locked and lights turned off and they will only be about conservation…”
But don’t believe me. Watch and listen to half a dozen Tea Party Congressmen call for the abolition: http://tinyurl.com/kla7pba

I almost agree with you. My points should be laughable, except conservatives in congress are living in a parallel universe where destroying government is the whole point of holding government positions.

          • CHHR

Interesting you point to a person not running for office again… seems though, her penchant for flame throwing worked – she got you at least listening… but rather than laugh at her absurdity, do yourself a favor, prove her wrong that the EPA doesn’t need a radical shake-up… just a thought.

          • AmericanLass

Oh I see, public education ? You should sue !

          • Yumpin Yoda

Two generations from now, our grandchildren will be literally choking to death on the spending and taxes it took to put OPukeCare into fruition. Never mind that 76% of Americans don’t want this trash.
I’ve seen major Kool-Aid drinkers before, but you are a Kool-Aid junkie. Good luck with your life – you’re going to need it!

          • ocviewer

Love that OPukeCare!! Gotta use that myself!

          • rae palmer

Don’t see how you can say conservatives supported segregation when it’s the liberal Democrat’s who were the KKK members, who opposed Lincoln, and who voted against the civil rights act. You need to read your history on that one, and by by history, I don’t mean listening to MSNBC.

          • scooper1028

I specifically said conservatives. There used to be conservatives in both parties. Southern Democrats were NOT liberals. Which is why they all fled the Democratic party when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act. If you have to twist the facts to make your point, you really don’t have a point.

          • ocviewer

For Christ sakes, you remind me of the blacks that are STILL complaining about slavery!! Oh my God, shut up already!! You bore everybody!

          • scooper1028

Where’s the complaint? I stated facts. Prove me wrong and I’ll shut up. You’re exactly the problem with conservatives. You think you speak for everybody. Except you only listen when you’re talking to each other. Which is why you clowns thought that Romney was going to win, even though all of the real polls said he wasn’t even going to carry his home state.

          • ocviewer

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Typical stupid Lib. Your mind set along with your idol Obummer is what is the most destructive to this country. Go to Europe to live-you won’t be missed.

          • Charlotte Green

            poor thing.

          • ocviewer

Yes and don’t forget we want the old and sick TO HURRY UP AND DIE!!

          • Phakt

You guys are still missing the point and are cherry picking issues. “frequently support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates “traditional values.” They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure.”

          • CHHR

No, you are… reduced government involvement includes personal behavior… I don’t agree with Abortion, but do recognize it is legal. What I do disagree with is ANY action that murders a VIABLE life such as with late term abortion… how anyone can suggest murder of an otherwise healthy and viable baby pre-natural birth is not a baby is beyond me and completely immoral.
Regarding morality… my total disdain for the left is in the re-writing of “morality” to the exclusion of those that disagree… good to be spiritual as long as your not Christian or Jew… good social justice just as long as facts don’t enter the discussion. Good to consider social welfare just as long as you never mention waste, fraud, or abuse of such programs thereby limiting the good the programs are designed to deliver… or how about, good to tout increased taxes for more government spending on any program that’s proven to have the opposite effect, like more spending on education when our children are failing at alarming rates…
So sick of the supposed righteous talking about nothing of substance other than to blame or shame the discussion off of the national square.

          • ocviewer

            EXACTLY. Well put.

          • ourlibertyrocks

No you are missing the point the Majority of Conservatives are not Zealots…. and they have lived their whole life choosing to Err on the side of conservatism which was Mainstream. Liberals like to push the envelope with everything from classifying groups by sexual preferences to blurring where personal responsibility ends and government starts. Nothing is too far fetched and they treat every under represented group during elections like it’s their flavor of month. As for restricting behavior, If your talking about taking the life of a viable child, that should be a behavior we restrict. FYI Proponents of Traditional family structure aren’t asking for anyone else to be restricted, It’s asking that people that have chosen other lifestyles at least take responsibility to define themselves. Don’t try to change or restrict what is already established as the Traditional family structure to, in order to mirror THEIR idea of what people should now call it. When you March for rights of individuality and demand recognition and acceptance of your lifestyle and proudly proclaim who you are and what you believe, and in the same breath protest what others have always believed about themselves and their lifestyles just so the different groups don’t feel they are different, isn’t that hypocritical ? Its like saying Traditional home decor is now Art Deco …….It’s simply not.

          • Laurie Davis

Wait is right….the libs also want control of your healthcare, toilets cars, trash, thoughts, and of course your telephone conversations and e-mails. Other than that liberals are for freedom of choice.

          • aztectrumpet

Like not wanting to allow people to murder children, right?

          • Holly

Phakt is right. Also, I believe the Libertarians are worse than some of the Dems when it comes to social issues. They go way to far with Liberty.

          • CHHR

the opposite of a total government freak is a total lack of government freak… both lead to complete anarchy

          • Holly

Phakt is right. Also, I believe that many Libertarians are worse than some of the Dems when it comes to social issues. They go way to far with Liberty. Of course the Dems are getting worse and worse as the years go on.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

If you think that government shouldn’t make rules based on morality(aka abortion – which is murder) then you are not a conservative, you are a libertarian. Libertarians are completely anti-government while conservatives are for limited government that doesn’t ignore morality.

          • ocviewer

            Sounds good!

          • mike_in_kosovo

If you believe that government should control your personal life, then you are NOT a conservative.

            Fail Moby is fail.

          • TheSwamp

It kind of is. Elected officials only pay lip-service to personal freedom and finance, then do the opposite when in office.

          • ocviewer

Yeah, didn’t get at all what you meant, Phakt??

        • Margie Albano

Are we talking about the same O’Reilly? He is an old blowhard whose only claim to fame is his ability to talk over his guests. Go away, Bill your time has passed.

          • ocviewer

            Not a chance.

        • ceemack

O’Reilly is only a “conservative” to people who don’t know anything about conservatism.

          • Dan

Those who have actual knowledge of “people” understand that O’Reilly is just as narcissistic as n0bama ever dreamed of being. In my book, O’Reilly is the Prince of the O’Idiots of talking heads.

          • ocviewer

He’s accomplished more for the good of humanity than you or I ever will.

          • CHHR

O’Reilly is all about O’Reilly…too focused on reminding everyone how smart he is to think through his positions which are often conflicting.
Remember the underwear bomber? He first called him a rogue nut…when it was obvious otherwise.

          • TLC

O’Reilly is not convincingly Conservative! And CHHR is correct. It’s ALL about him. He never lets his guests speak like Gretta does.

        • Mark Rogers

He is a strong advocate of personal freedoms. Perhaps you’re confusing him with someone on a more liberal network.

          • CHHR

excuse me? You mean like a personal freedom of a national database to register bullets? Oh please.

        • Jason Wade Prater

He is not conservative. Ask the conservatives if he is, ask him. He is quite liberal on many issues, and I know some of his stances make the right mad as wet hens. To say he reps the “conservative mainstream” just shows you don’t really watch him, but instead you must be listening to the haters, who happen to be people who do NOT watch his show.

        • gator871

O’Reilly has never considered himself a conservative by his own admission.

      • MikeB

And Hannity is number 1 at his time as well…Doesn’t make sense unless other major changes are in the works.

      • Wendy Krehbiel

I LOVE O’Reilly. My husband thinks Hannity is obnoxious, but O’Reilly is awesome. My dream lineup would be: Hannity at 8, Megyn Kelly at 9, O’Reilly at 10. Sounds like a winner to me! Greta in the morning. I always thought she was boring.

        • Pilgrim22

O’Reilly, Hannity & Greta all tend to talk over their guests….O’Reilly in a somewhat condescending way and Greta sometimes gets so excited about an issue she gets really loud.

        • ocviewer

Unfortunately she has become SOOO boring.

      • Butch Mulligan

he sure is. plus id rather see him than hannity

        • peggypie

gotta be hard to do a radio show from 3 to 6 and then a tv show at 8 .maybe he just wants to do radio for now and spend time with the kids at night for a while

      • LInda

If only he wouldn’t take so much time off!

        • CHHR

well, the more folks become informed, the less impact he has… may be he’s ferreting out other opportunities more conducive to his (eh hem) expertise…?

    • Audrey Merrell

I heard O’reily might be gone from the 8 pm spot.

    • Lewis Finch

O’Reilly has the highest rated show on cable TV! No way he’s leaving! From a cable news perspective, both he and Hannity’s numbers eclipse their competition’s combined numbers by almost 2-to-1!

    • Andy Thomas

      I agree

    • Lynn DeRae Nace

      I watch Bill over Sean…

    • Barb

Are you nuts? O’Reilly is the #1 news show in the country. The only way he is gone is if he wants to start his own network :)

    • Jerred Johnson

      Exactly!!!!!

    • Richard Wayne

Sorry to the O’reilly fans. He is almost the definition of low information conservative. He is late to the big stories and he dwells on nonsense waaay too much. From his opening finger pointing lameness to his crap trivia, the guy is a joke. Just because it nets ratings it doesn’t mean it is quality.

      • Lucy

I will never forget the first time I watched O’Reilly. I was thinking to myself, “who in the H is this cocky man?” And, then, I listened to what he had to say. He has brought many issues to the front and has more resolves in a column than unresolved. Meg brings so much to FoxNews. I heard Greta is going to days. Meg will go to 2100, O’Reilly will stay the same. Hannity might come to days or the 22:00 time slot?

      • AlmostaCowboy

        A-MEN!

      • CHHR

couldn’t agree more! But then arrogance must mean one doesn’t actually have to keep up with the actual news and issues… especially when pontification and bloviating is your real game.

      • pajamakat

He is late to the big stories. I noticed that too. If something big happens during the day, it is not mentioned. He tapes his shows too early

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

I look at O’Reilly as an entry-level conservative. He can grab the attention of some of the low information crowd while not offending liberals. Now that I understand conservatism a lot more than I did when I watched him around a decade ago he seems kind of spineless and I disagree with him a lot since he agrees with RINOs quite a bit but I see his value since he has a knack at grabbing the attention of people who normally wouldn’t listen to us and isn’t afraid to go on other talk shows. If anything he at least gets these people to get interested in conservatism and ask questions about it.

      • ocviewer

Uhhh noo…you are completely wrong. Intelligent people watch Fox news and stupid ones don’t. O’Reilly brings the best to TV news and his viewers.

        • Richard Wayne

With all due respect, don’t put so much faith in any news outlet. Progressives infiltrate and destroy from within. O’reilly often shows signs that he is willing compromise values for the sake of being considered a moderate.

          • ocviewer

My feeling is that O’Reilly gives everyone the benefit of the doubt unless there’s facts to prove other wise. There are times when I’m frustrated by his “attitude” towards someone or something that in my opinion is completely wrong and I want him to take a stand and argue about it. He wants to be the guy who keeps his mind open to all sides. Annoying at times but that’s the Fair and Balanced part of his program. I LOVED his sound off to the black community-and he was pissed!- about the REAL problem in this culture/community. He’s the first guy who had the balls to call it like it is.

    • Jason Wade Prater

You are silly. Bill O isn’t going anywhere. FNC is the house HE built. Besides you cannot get a more reliable source of fact.

    • TLC

      Well said!!!!!!!!!!

    • usaman

Hannity is the most annoying dweeb on TV. Screaming and bullying people is his way to make up for intellectual retardation. I would be happy if he just went away. Every time he comes on, the TV goes to another channel. ANY channel. Please bring Megyn in ASAP.

      • luv2dive

I stopped watching Hannity when he started sounding a little like Glenn Beck.

    • Juanell Touchstone Hollingswor

No! Bill don’t take no crap!! Keep him going.

    • MikeTX62

Bill O’Reilly’s show is the #1 cable news show. Why would they move him??

    • FAS1

Get rid of O’Reilly???!!! And what are you smoking???

    • rickmcknight

I agree. Bill is getting to be, and has always been obnoxious. And some times even rude. I find myself talking to the TV saying”Let him talk O’Reilley!”

  • Coop

Interesting changes! Greta’s contract specifies prime time, but that can be [$$$] taken care of. Guess Hannity might move back an hour…his show is too widely viewed to be taken off..

    • danwalsh1

Hannity and Greta will move back an hour and bump the O’Reilly rerun.

  • Mariann Mc Dougall

When will Megan be back from her maternity leave? We love her show and she’s so good at what she does.

    • JuliaSherrill

I think Megyn said Sept. ’13

  • maafla1

Drop Shepherd Smith. Move O’Reilly to 7:00, Hannity to 8:00.

    • [email protected]

I hope she doesn’t go back to CNN…She is the only one who asked hard questions….I like Hannity and O’Reilly, but Greta is a little better n getting to the bottom of things

  • Scott Burress

I agree with Richard. Get rid of O’Reilly. He sucks. Move Greta to days. All she is , is a repeat of Hannity.

  • BluesDude

Hannity at 10. Greta is going back to CNN.

    • Michael Barberree

      Let her go.

      • ocviewer

If she goes to CNN she will forever lose her credibility.

    • TLC

      No way!

  • david99696

as long as I can TiVo Megyn somewhere. She’s hot

    • JuliaSherrill

Hot and married w/ children David99696

  • lesterwink23

This would certainly be an interesting move. Hannity is almost always the 2nd highest rated cables news show on a daily basis after O’Reilly. I certainly don’t have a problem with Megyn Kelly, but I think she’s just fine where she is.

    • Roxiecolorado

me too, I will miss my noon time with her smile and wit and intelligence!

  • Insubordinate

Moving Megyn Kelly to prime time would be a smart move for Fox News. Megyn is smart, funny, witty, and attractive. Giving Gretchen Carlson her own one-hour show is a big mistake.

    • Lynelle Hullsiek

I disagree about Carlson. She certainly doesn’t belong with the dimwitted cohosts she has now. I hope and certainly think that she could make a go of it.

    • felicityva

I don’t understand why they gave Gretchen Carlson her own show as well. I couldn’t understand it when they gave her the center of the ‘curvy couch’. If they’re going to give anyone their own show in the afternoon, my money would have been on Alison Camerata.

      • Mollywashington

Gretchen is highly over-rated, and this is one move I don’t understand.

        • CHHR

oh, she’s easy to understand… a liberal with enough sense God gave her to smell a rat… quite interesting to watch her transition into government waste, fraud and abuse causing a huge issue regarding our debt. I appreciate her for talking about something everyone else seems to want to ignore.

          • ocviewer

FOX news talks about it ALL THE TIME!! Where have you been?? She’s not a Liberal, either.

          • CHHR

Hate to say this, but you do know she was a HUGE Hillary Clinton supporter, don’t you? She’s not a “flaming” liberal… in fact, based on some of the things she’s discussed, I’d call her more of a “traditional” democrat… but then, she’d be the best person to actually tell us. I simply make assumptions after more than 10 years of religiously watching her show. Given that, I don’t think she’s moved more right, more like her party has moved so far left.

        • Barb

          DITTO!

        • danwalsh1

They had to gracefully move her out of the way for Hossilhoff then they can dump her when she can’t match Kelly’s ratings. Notice they only gave her one hour to screw up!

        • JuliaSherrill

Seems all of Fox women employees on air are attorneys. We need that now for the sake of freedoms according to the law.

      • DinaSews

I would have chosen Shannon Bream. She has been filling in for Megyn and doing a great job.

      • ocviewer

Alison is so much more interesting! Gretchen is utterly boring. Her voice puts me to sleep and the other two guys are GREAT!

    • Pam Weaver

I have heard plenty about how hot Kelly is. I haven’t heard anything about her as a news person. Sexy women on FOX does not mean good news…I would rather they leave the sex behind, get people who are intelligent and good news people. Dress the women in a more business attire and leave the leather and skin for other shows. I’m not impressed with the way FOX is moving towards selling sex rather than important news. We need the truth and since the administration went after them, they have gone soft…I am so disappointed! It is so sad! Looks like Hannity needs a new home along with Bill. Shame on FOX news!

      • TYPE O NEGATIVE

She’s pretty poor in my opinion. She has a bad habit of talking before her guests/experts are finished. Once or twice is fine, but she cuts them off every time. Not worth watching.

        • CHHR

…. sometimes yes, but then people with opposing positions tend to filibuster the time, so I don’t blame her for cutting them off. She is very strong with cutting through the BS with a continual focus and I like that. O’Reilly on the other hand…

      • Walter W

I agree with Pam! Fox News has changed but not for the better. first, they hire Juan Williams for $2M/year. that guy gets fired fron NPR, has nothing going for him, but he gets a job at Fox for 2M? But he is a regular on Hannity (of couse, they are friends)! Then, what about tamara Holder? A total liberal idiot. She goes on Hannity and spews insults, that’s all she does.. If I would be Hannity I would have shown her the door immediately. But, no, she is back on his show the next day! I no longer watch Hannity, because of these “guests”. I do not think that they are worth watching.
and now, the ever so arrogant Megyn Kelly gets prime time? I need to find another news channel to watch!

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Sex sells, always has and always will. If it gets people to pay attention to conservatism then I am all for it.

        • Pam Weaver

Yes it does and the more they sell sex, the less good news we get. They have gone soft and I am not so sure they are “conservative” anymore when men will tune them in just to gawk at their women anchors. I believe the administration got to them and they don’t have the courage to continue with probing the issues like they used to. Very sad! And disappointing!

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

I don’t believe that just because news comes from a pretty face that makes it any less intelligent. I think it is kind of unfair to marginalize people based on their appearance and especially since Megyn and the rest of the ladies on Fox seem pretty intelligent. Also, Fox News itself has never claimed to be conservative, just fair. The only time they promote conservatism is by giving opinion shows to Hannity and Beck in the past(I’m guessing Megyn will also have an opinion show). I’ve watched them on and off since 2000 and I honestly haven’t seen that much of a difference since I started. I just think the people who watch Fox have become more conservative so they think things have changed.

          • ocviewer

WHAT SEX ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??????????????? I think you are just plain JEALOUS. Your comments are ignorant and unfounded. You gotta be one of the fools who watch msnbc.

      • ocviewer

WHAT are you talking about?? The conservative women on Fox are NOT dressed in leather nor do they dress sexy. YOU obviously have never watched her. She’s a brilliant news person so good in fact she is now prime time!! You don’t know what you’re talking about. FOX does not sell sex…that’s just a plain stupid comment. Bet you’re an MSNBC lover.

    • Jason Wade Prater

are u kidding, Gretchen is a pro.

    • radicallyalyssa

I loved watching her during my lunches! She’s awesome!

    • Sharon

I agree on the Gretchen Carlson move…She is the most annoying person on FNC…she is a know it all and it is always about her. Why they make her to be so important is beyond me. I stopped watching Fox and Friends because of her!

    • wayne strong

I like all the legal panels (i really like arthur aidala) she does on her afternoon show. She’s very knowledgeable about the law as well.

    • ocviewer

Gretchen Carlson is getting her own show?? It will not be successful, I’m sorry. It won’t. She’s boring.

  • Vic Hunter

Megan is one of the most BRILLIANT hosts in the business. I love that she holds her own against the big O :-)

  • TacomaConservative

    Get rid of oreilly…

    • TocksNedlog

      Brilliant!

Oh, wait. What’s the opposite of ‘brilliant’?

      • Catchance

        Tsk.

        • TocksNedlog

I down-voted because, in additon to the fact that Bill is okay, it’s just plain ridiculous to suggest that a network should cancel its number 1 show.

          • CHHR

I get your point… but I have to say, his lack of knowledge and background into the stuff he touts as fact is amazing..
Like Bush not getting Congressional approval to go to war both times… that would be 100% approval… how could one forget that?

          • $4077546

He is as low-information as is his Crossfire roots.

          • wwbdinct

            O’Reilly was on Crossfire?? Really?

          • TocksNedlog

            You don’t remember that?
            😉

          • mike_in_kosovo

Speaking of “touting stuff as fact”…. your claim of 100% approval is incorrect.

AUMF (Afghanistan) was *almost* 100% for both chambers, but a few abstained from voting in each chamber and there was one “nay” in the House.

For Iraq, House voted 297/133 (yea/nay), and the Senate 77/23.

          • CHHR

I stand corrected for the way I positioned that statement… when I said 100% approval, I was referring to Congressional approval for both wars contrary to the wing nuts that say otherwise… BTW: I found it quite interesting that even Kucinich opposed Obama’s Libyan action… filing a law suit as a result.

          • mike_in_kosovo

            Re: Kucinich/lawsuit

But but…that’s impossible – EVERYONE knows that everything 0bama does is perfect!!

          • CHHR

LOL perfect…. hummm… yea, well that’s first dependent on what you define as perfect and in reference to what (such as his rather frequent discharges out of his rear view blow hole)

          • mike_in_kosovo

(such as his rather frequent discharges out of his rear view blow hole)

That’s priceless attar of roses… just ask Tingles Matthews!

          • CHHR

ROTFL yea, and neither can say anything that would even remotely resemble the fragrance of a rose… LOL

          • mike_in_kosovo

Dude…don’t *make* me pull out the Romeo and Juliet stuff in regards to Tingles and Zero… LOL

          • CHHR

STOP I can’t breath! You’re killing me over here! :)

          • mike_in_kosovo

Just noticed your avatar…makes the discussion about roses even funnier!

      • AlmostaCowboy

        TocksNedLog.

      • TacomaConservative

LOL… It looks like I am not he only one… Oreilly is as irrelevant as his interview with the president.

    • Catchance

I know you got a couple of down votes, but I’m with you… O’Reilly is not a conservative, and he’s extremely abrasive. It’s always all about him, and he never lets his guests say anything without constant interruptions. I finally gave up on him. He’s a sanctimonious twit.

      • Bralgar

You stated my thoughts exactly! He really lost me on his diatribe on the immigration thing… He is turning liberal

        • Michael Barberree

          Liberal ..yes

        • Buckhuntr

One must realize that O’Reilly is born, raised and educated in the liberal northeast……He is NOT a conservative. He is a left of center “moderate”.

          • TocksNedlog

One’s center-point must be in an interesting location.

      • Elva Garza

Agree about O’Reilly! Laura Ingram should get on that slot..Love her!

      • TheSwamp

So because you disagree him on one issue, suddenly he is not a conservative? Ridiculous.

      • peggypie

but he’s #1- can’t mess with those stats whether you like him or not.

      • Free2B

I agree! His constant interruptions to his guest is annoying. He thinks he is the stuff and tries to be so sanctimonious and it just makes him look all the more uncredible. They could cancel his show and I would be perfectly cool with that.

  • crazywater

I still think its gonna be Megyn at 7PM, Shep gets an extra hour for Studio B. Gretchen gets the other hour from Megyn’s daytime show.

    • AlmostaCowboy

      Another hour of Shepard Swish?
      AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!

      • TacomaConservative

        LOL… Swish..

  • mark

What about the Sean Hannity show? He has a fantastic show and his ratings prove it

  • maafla1

Drop Shepherd Smith! Move O’Reilly to 7 pm and Hannity to 8 pm.

  • Jan

My guess is Greta will move to 7pm unless O’Reilly wants to change to 7. I like to watch Megan and Greta but Bill has the highest ratings so I am guessing he will have the time slot of his choice.

  • Tom Eckonen

nice girl but can’t replace Hannity.

  • Amy Perry Smith

Well, Shep said on his program when they showed a picture of her baby that she would be a night. It is definitely not a rumor!

  • UrDumber

Hopefully next they will move Sheppard Smith to midnight or later. What a doosh

    • TheSwamp

      Boo Shep is awesome.

    • TLC

Well, he actually gives “news” and not “commentary”. We need Fox to keep reporting news. That’s the only way I hear about any news, because I refuse to turn on any of the mainstream channels.

  • zachlen

bad time slot. There is some good TV around that time. She is better later.I kike her a lot. Hope motherhood is making her happy.

  • Sharkteeth

Se is the sharpest knife in the kitchen and very easy on the eyes. Thanks GQ

    • usaman

Photoshop is a marvelous thing. It looks like the Oswald photo with the paper and the gun where his head is obviously too large for this body.

  • http://blog.cyberquill.com/ Cyberquill

Sean Hannity will keep his regular time slot except he’s signed with MSNBC, where he will be cohosting a new Hannity-and-Colmes-type show titled “Hannity and Maddow” at 9pm weekdays.

    • TocksNedlog

That show is called “Hayes & Maddow”.
MSNBC saves money on it because even though there’s two names in the title they still only have to pay one host’s salary.

  • Sheldon Ziro

Megan should stay right where she’s been! She’s really not all that! O’Reilly and Hannity are the best two shows they’ve got in the evenings! If they must “bump” someone, let it be Gretta!!

    • nibblesyble

No way, I love Greta, Hannity can go!

      • Sheldon Ziro

She’s no comparison to Hannity! Moving Megan to the night time slot is ridiculous though. They should leave it alone! But if somebody’s got to go.. See ya Greta!

        • nibblesyble

No way Sheldon, she brings on the best interviews..Hannity is o.k…I would not mourn his loss as much as Greta’s!

    • TocksNedlog

Got a problem with female hosts, there?

      • $4077546

Just liberal RINOs who think the world revolves around NY.

        • TocksNedlog

Your other screen name was better.

      • Sheldon Ziro

Not at all. She’s just a little too dorky/blonde at times!

        • CHHR

Dorky? O’Reilly pontificates his smartness and Hannity cries and whines… can’t stand how he rehashes the same crap every night… Proves blonde is not the prerequisite to dorky.
I want someone willing to talk about the things that aren’t PC, not gagged, and covers the entire spectrum of thinking. I want questions to be asked from a reasoned position and when BS is answered, I want it called out. For that you actually need someone that actually knows what the heck they are talking about BEFORE they go on the air… O’Reilly. I also want someone that would dare to consider opposing views and not low ball that view with the scheduling of idiots so need to prove how stupid their opponents (Tamara for example) are… Hannity.

        • TocksNedlog

I was just noticing that you like O’Reilly & Hannity, and you spelled both of their names correctly; while you misspelled both Megyn & Greta, and you dislike them both. Coincidence?

[Oh, and referring to Megyn as “blonde” isn’t exactly helping your case.]

    • Studogg64

Will not speak for cable, as I don’t watch it, but Hannity’s radio show is boringly repetitious. Can’t and won’t support him!

  • http://OccupyBawlStreet.com OccupyBawlStreet.com

O’Reilly has REALLY been boring me lately… I RARELY watch him anymore>>> move Hannity 2 8:00pm (guess we gotta keep shep @ 7 for “news”??) AND give Bill & Greta 1/2 hr each starting at 10?? (greta 1st?)

    • AlmostaCowboy

Look up “pompous” see O’Reilly’s picture.

  • SWwife

I like Kelly, but if Hannity leaves I’ll turn off my TV

  • dhl55

Get Shep out of the line up – he drives me nuts!!

    • Michael Barberree

I concur that Shep is old news now. Get him out of there.

    • jolexie

Shep already has 2-hrs. in the afternoon. He doesn’t need an additional 2 in the evening.

    • nibblesyble

      Amen!!!!

  • ceemack

Fox will now have the hottest primetime lineup in more ways than one.

  • JustMyOpinion

    why not move out Greta

    • Richard Wayne

Greta is the most fair newscaster in the lineup, I probably watch her show more than the others. She probably could do well in the 7 pm timeframe.

      As a sidenote:
As a redblooded american male, I never thought I’d say, but I’m getting tired of all the tarts/emptysuits on the news. Ailes needs to quit over-farming bikini island.

  • ramubay

FNC has the top shows and the best shows of any of the news networks. Run the four shows and reair the first show at the end.

  • Jack Deth

Megan Kelly gets a prime time slot. Opens the door a bit wider for Katy Pavlich, Mary Katharine Ham, The Boss Emeritus and other Fox Femmes to add their perspectives and get well deserved air time.

  • Barbara Cyrus

Hannity better still be on, he is my favorite

  • HWarrior13

For the love of God, PLEASE get rid of that obnoxious Democrat, Shepard Smith

  • Hoss471

I cannot stand M Kelly, when Odumbo was elected the first term she started talking in broken sentences just like their black messiah

  • Jeff H

What’s the over-under on how many days it takes for CNN/MSNBC/CNBC/ABC/CBS/NBC to start running stories touting the “desperate moves by Fox”?

    • journogal

As soon as it is live in Drudge…the announcement is still developing.

    • Richard Wayne

I think the ‘days’ time metric assumes they can show restraint.

  • Raymond Smith

Good for her. She’s the only real conservative there anyway.

    • AlmostaCowboy

      Definitely NOT a “conservative”.

  • Ginger Orick Barritt

    She is one smart cookie!

  • James Walter Christie

There was a report a few weeks ago that Greta had been in discussions with CNN and the front office was not pleased. Maybe we have the answer…Megyn to 9pm..Sean to 10pm and bye bye Greta.

  • Hoss471

Megan should move to Court TV, she sucks as a news caster

    • GaryTheBrave

Considering that you don’t know her name is spelled Megyn your opinion carries no weight.

      • Hoss471

goes to show how much i think of her, garwy

        • GaryTheBrave

Which makes your first post even less valuable to the discussion.

    • AlmostaCowboy

She isn’t “conservative” but she does not “suck”.
      😐

      • Guest

as a news caster she does, local back woods talent is better at the news than she is

      • Hoss471

BTW, what the heck is an “almost a cowboy”? Like a drugstore cowboy, or arm chair cowboy when watching john wayne? Either your a true dyed in the wool cowboy or your not. just sayin, Cowboys either work the ranch and /or RODEO……………………….spit

        • AlmostaCowboy

Really? You’re as much an expert on “cowboys” as you are on newscasters.
For the record, we have ranch, we have horses. I know real cowboys, but I’m not so arrogant as to think I’m in their class.

          • Hoss471

I stand chastened and rebuked then, my apologies to you sir, I was just wondering what almost a cowboy was. I too live in an area with a lot of cowboys, they work hard and play hard,We own a bar , and have many friends that are cowboys.

    • $4077546

and her law career was a joke too. I get a kick out of her spouting off on her lawyer experience.

      • journogal

Really? How do you know this?

      • Hoss471

I’m sure as a lawyer , she is probably pretty good, this is based on the fact that she really loves the court cases by keeping them in the nations ears constantly. I personally do not care about all these court cases that fox follows. Fox is supposed to be a NEWS station, yet they prefer to divert attention away from true news and follow court cases that has little to do with the nation.

        • emsinmd

Court cases and their outcomes set precedent for later cases and the criminals. They’re very important.

          • Hoss471

Question, With a precedent set, how many viewers will need to know ? I as well as most, would hire an attorney to handle any legal matters and only need to know what actually affects us. This is just junk to fill your brain, and most likely will never be needed by a common person.

          • jacrlsn

Well maybe a common person has a better understanding of the subject matter.

        • jacrlsn

You are so gullible so as to believe the Zimmerman case had nothing to do with the nation? It’s no wonder you post what you do.

          • Hoss471

All We need to know is the outcome of a court case, not the daily court actions spoon fed to us as news. sorry , I just feel more important things should be pursued such as pressure on this administration over Benghazi, The Mexican border issue, the federal gun running, the middle east in general, so lets just disagree with what is an important issue.

          • jacrlsn

I apologize, I must have misunderstood you. On the other hand, I felt the Zimmerman case was a government frame up and I don’t think it started with the local government. The original officer on the scene saw no reason to arrest Zimmerman, The police chief ditto as well as the first prosecuting attorney. The doctored 911 tape and many other things made one with common sense wonder why the man was even charged. The defence demolished the prosecuters evidence. I just believed it was worth all the time Fox gave it.

      • TocksNedlog

You know all about her law career, do you?

        Pray, share!

      • wwbdinct

        Oh Piers! Grow up!

    • TocksNedlog

And when it comes to “suck,” no one here should question your intimate knowledge and expertise.

      • Hoss471

only while standing in front of you, alter boy

        • TocksNedlog

I didn’t mean it in a sexual manner AT ALL. Feel free to add that misinterpretation to your inability to spell “Megyn” — or “newscaster”.

          • Hoss471

Yes, try to cover over that comment, you really must be a true progressive. I’m only sorry my fingers and hands have been broken working in the oil patch and can only type with two fingers, otherwise I would really give a s##t about my spelling.

          • TocksNedlog

            Sorry. Strictly a conservative here.

          • TocksNedlog

Relax, buddy! Kick back and listen to some Django Reinhardt.

  • JACK BARBER

no one has life here only opinions that mean nothing to anyone ,not even themselves, like this one TOO FUNNY …She is going to the fox and friends show

    • wwbdinct

Your post is incoherent. Please decipher. She is not going to Fox and Friends. Before she left for maternity leave it was already announced she would have a primetime show. I seriously hope that avatar is not a real picture of you.

      • JACK BARBER

Ok I’ll make it easy for you……you have no life….only opinions of the future that mean nothing!!!!! only means you think you know what is real and not real….. I know she Had a Baby I watch Fox news.. I made up that she is going to the morning show Fox and Friends ! Yes It’s a Non story just like the rest of this thread, and thats my real picture ,and my real name..not a fake suit ,and fake name like you have … Is this a good answer? you can grade my grammar, I used spell check, so I know that’s ok….don’t forget to make fun of me, it will make you famous in your own mind

        • wwbdinct

I use my real initials. I’ll be sure to look you up “JACK”! Can you explain what you mean by “I only have opinions of the future”. Spellcheck doesn’t fix an incoherent statement.

          • JACK BARBER

LMAO she is taking over Hannity’ show 9pm spot , thats NEWS not esp…I think your making this way to personal , It was a joke…if you read my first post…everyone was trying to guess were she was going ,I only made a post saying nothing meaning nothing, so liberals could read into it , what ever they wanted to….. you being a liberal, took it to mean I was talking about you, and made fun of my looks , JESUS CHRIST made me look like this ,and His Father GOD made him rise from the dead……woot woot

  • http://www.cafepress.com/nottexas unionssuck

dont get it. Greta is doing great, she is an open minded Lliberal . She is not a radical lesbian. She has great ratings. Oreilly? Hannity will no be gone. whos on after greta?

    • CHHR

O’Reilly of course… then they start the programming over again… O’Reilly, Hannity, Greta, then it’s a replay of The Five, then Red Eye, then well what do ya know, they removed the replay of another good program, Special Report and replaced it with… wait for it… O’Reilly of course!
      Insomnia, what can I say.

  • Richard Wayne

A Leno late show wouldn’t be too bad….

  • NOBAMAZILLA

I think Hannity is looking at this as a breather before 2016 comes around the corner….he has been in the hot spot for a time now, i am sure he is all over this in a good way !!! Could be he follows, or leads….

  • $4077546

This woman is arrogant. Good luck with that. She is one of the reasons I stopped watching Fox. I don’t need some NE progressive to tell me how to think.

    • TocksNedlog

So . . . where DO the ones that tell you how to think live?

      • CHHR

        Oh snap!

  • TLC

That’s a bummer! That means 11 PM my time, and I’m in bed by then! I always watched her when she was on at 11 AM my time. :( But, I’m happy I can watch Gretta in the daytime! However, I think Gretta’s better in prime time, because she is sooooo good!

  • william Moss, Sr.

I loved reading down through here and seeing a liberal trying to explain conservatism. As usual they have no ideal what it means to be a conservative or a liberal. LOL

  • http://marcwinger.com Jupiter C.

Mr. Hannity is the only admitted conservative on Foxnews. They had better not disturb him. I mean it!

    • Richard Wayne

There has been a bit of a shift at Fox it seems of late. There is alot more Rove type of conservatism now…

    • World B. Free

Sean is strictly an RNC party guy. He goes along with whatever the Republican Party wants. I’d rather watch someone who leans libertarian like Judge Napolitano or Stossel.

  • usaman

Hannity is a whiny, sniveling spoiled child. He reminds me of Obama. All he does is hang around and rehash what he picks up during the day from the other right wing commentators. Megyn Kelly would be so refreshing. She has poise and class, plus she is very intelligent. Piers Morgan would still be DOA in that time slot.

    • ee1774

“She has poise and class, plus she is very intelligent.”
      Most definitely!
And when she gets her dander-up…WATCH OUT!
That woman does not back down!

      ………and those legs….Good-Godddddd!!!!!!

  • Nelson

Somebody is taking that 7 pm slot. It should be Greta and Sean to 10 pm. Fox wants total supremacy of the evening! No need to see Shep so many times in a day.

  • spepper

FNC should get rid of Shlep Smith by replacing his time slots with Megyn. Hannity would keep 9pm slot. They could reduce “Shlep time” by offering him to join Geraldo’s Sunday-only slot since they are “2 peas in a libtard pod”.

  • Ann Del Toro

Love Megan but where is my Hannity going? Love his show.

  • ChristCrusader

I’d appreciate it if they bumped Shephard Smith’s Fox Report. That guy’s self-absorbed attitude annoys me to no end. I’d much rather watch/listen to Megyn Kelley than him, and with much more respect.

The five would be improved and become worth while with Charles Krauthammer and Tucker Carlson (for insightful, no holds barred commentary), Napolitano (for Constitutional comments), Greg Gutfeld (for comedy), and Juan Williams (for the other side, but ending up being a rhetorical punching bag)

oh yeah, Geraldo can retire too.

    • Richard Wayne

I wouldn’t expect substance in that timeslot. They have their established schtick that gets ratings. Throw in some legs and plenty of moderates who think themselves conservatives, and voila instant appeal to many.

Eric Bolling is the only consistent good one on there.

    • Karin_A

I can’t stand Shep, and won’t watch him. He’s always tripping over his words anyway. Unprofessional for a broadcaster.

      • wwbdinct

He seems drunk most of the time. He’s unwatchable!

        • World B. Free

He seems high to me, with the glassy red eyes.

    • World B. Free

I agree, not because I don’t care for Shep (which I don’t) but because it’s kind of redundant to have one hard news show (Bret Baier’s) at 6, followed by another hour of news at 7.

I usually switch to Seinfeld reruns at 7 rather than watch a rehash of the same stories I just saw minutes earlier.

    • Dirty Harry

Shep kills me with his pompous act. He pretends to be so cultured & refined.

  • David Johnson

    Works for me!!!

  • https://twitter.com/fit4posts Fit Forpost

Hey Fox – please move Red Eye to 10pm.

  • stan25

Bob Beckel and Alan Colmes should be axed entirely from the Fox lineup. That includes Fox Radio

    • PJemmott

Beckel can at least at times be entertaining with his liberal lunacy but Colmes should be no where

      • CHHR

Have you noticed… he’s reluctantly starting to question lately… this Treyvon stuff really got to him it seems… much like Kirsten changed after the DNC last year.
Oh, they’re still liberal they say and in Kirsten’s case, I really see her immaturity some times… but gosh, they’re both starting to talk from a more reasoned and less partisan position. Quite interesting to watch.

        • PJemmott

Even a die hard liberal can only deny whats really going on for so long and thats what is starting to happen throughout the liberal side. Even some of Main stream Media is starting to turn. Well like I said some is the keyword

        • Sakemoto

Just wanted to compliment you on your analysis of Kirsten Powers. You nailed it with “immaturity.”

          • CHHR

Thank you… immaturity can be fixed, willful ignorance… well…

  • Hoss471

Fox news needs to bump out Bob Beckel and juan williams

    • TocksNedlog

They have their own shows, do they?

      • Hoss471

Yeah, she has had her moments, some good, some disappointing.

She has more courage than O’Reilly. Put her in his slot!

  • Bryan Durio

Another welcome change: I’d love to see Harris Faulkner take over Shepard Smith’s Fox Report. She’s such a classy professional, whereas Shep’s just a pretentious ham.

    • Hoss471

What is it with you people and eye candy feeding you the news, Get married, love the woman you are with, and quit drooling over female newscasters , It is the NEWS , not a beauty pageant , sheesh

      • Bryan Durio

Interesting. I made no mention of anything approaching eye candy. Please reread my post. I said, “[Faulkner]’s such a classy professional.” Grab some comprehension skills on your way out the door, Hoss.

      • Cal

Bryan’s right, you know. Not a word about her looks. 😛

  • Joanne13

I don’t watch Hannity every night but when I do I’d highly prefer him over Kelly any day. If they do this at least one viewer will be watching something else (all the time)… just sayin.

  • Dirty Harry

Megyn will replace Greta. This has been rumored for weeks now. Greta’s husband reportedly wants her home at night. Regardless, Fox will dominate in prime time…

  • _Dennis_

So… now Fox News has the liberal Shepard Smith, the vainglorious unhinged waffler Bill O’Reilly, and the social liberal Megyn Kelly…. Roger Ailes has taken the phenomenal ratings that conservatives gave his network (because there was no option for them on any other media outlet) and turned FNC into a caricature of its former self in primetime as progressivism slowly solidifies its entrenchment there.

  • google

I sincerely doubt that Ailes will move Hannity from the 9pm slot for Megyn Kelly..Don’t get me wrong, love Megyn, but I just don’t believe she could fill Hannity’s shoes.. I have a hunch that Ailes, the master manipulator of the media, has conjured this idea by leaking it to Drudge for more ratings..As if FN needs any more an edge of their pitiful competitors…Ailes surely knows what he’s doing…

  • llellc

Yeah, Mr. Morgan. it is time to shudder! “Bring it on?” He won’t be so cocky in about two months into the change. Should be good. I do wonder where Hannity might be going. I heard he may follow Beck to other realms. But, Greta just recently won an award for her show, didn’t she? So, I don’t see her leaving. Who knows?

    • AlmostaCowboy

Awards do not compare to viewers. After all, Odumbo has a Nobel.

  • JuliaSherrill

Megn announced on the air that when she returns to Fox she’ll be coming back in an evening show. And, the woman that replaced her is staying put. Megyn to me needs to keep it professional. Her jokes are not funny. In fact, she’s too silly. Very unprofessional…

  • Spike Bement

    Hannity & Colmes…….maybe Hannity & Kelly?

  • Carol Thompson

now don’t let Hannity take one slot of shep and wont loose any.

  • http://discus.com yourmamatoo

They should have given her Shep’s 7PM slot.

  • Pulmon_de_Susan

Could there be a “Hannity and Kelly” show? Maybe????

    • Richard Wayne

Larry Flynt would have a field day…

  • http://annadonahue.com Anna K Donahue

Gretta is the only blond with a real brain on Fox. Hope she stays prime time. Best interviewer in all of news.

  • johncv66

That 9pm eastern time?? if so, who getting bumped, Hannity or Greta, I want greta, no offense sean

    • AlmostaCowboy

      Sean’s numbers drown Greta’s.

  • Steve in Katy

Hannity will probably take over Shep’s spot.

    • AlmostaCowboy

Never. Hannity has his radio show during Swish’s first spot and he’s doing prep for his slot during Swish’s second.

  • Jens Christian

I am not than fond of Kelly, don’t like the fact she took Erik Ericksen to task because he thought children were happier with stay at home moms, she showed her true colors that day. If she feels guilty about having kids because she is not home to raise them that’s her problem. I doubt her show will do well, all I know is I won’t be watching her. She ain’t all that.

  • Al Roberts

Fox should have plenty time slots open. It all started when they removed Beck for this sorry” The Five program”. I’m getting tired of all the opinionated talking heads, lets get back to the real news programing.

  • Lamadave

Hockey season can’t come soon enough.

  • Exodus2011

I think it’s possible that there have been a flood of complaints this year concerning Hannity … his regular viewers don’t like the way he has promoted McRubio and
the amnesty BULLSCHMIDT, and his support for the em*sculated GOPe in
    general

so FOX could be moving Kelly into that slot to strengthen it

quite a bombshell really, because Hannity has hosted the 9pm
primetime slot on Fox since that Network started up …. (originally
with Colmes … 13 years ago?)

Sean, I reckon you misread the meaning of the R/R loss, and the
Conservative Electorate completely, and have bought into the BULLSCHMIDT
spouted by the racketeering GOP Consultancy Class

Conservatism didn’t lose in Nov 2012 Sean, because Conservatism wasn’t on the ticket.

  • Reasonable Insight

I think Megyn will move to 7p and pull Shepard smith out. M.Kelly would be a great lead in for O’Reilly!!

  • ThomasCollins1

Greta is the best on TV.

  • Debbie

I think Gretchen will take one hour of Meygns old time slot, and Shep will pull two hours together. Currently his schedule is 1 hour at noon the other at 7:00. Hannity will keep his slot or Meygn will take the 7PM or 9PM & Hannity will take the other slot.

  • John Mullins

I think Sean moves to 7PM and Shep is downsized.

  • Dolores Aguirre Johnston

Am I the only one who sees Megyn Kelly’s reporting as childish and obnoxious at times?
There are many other women on FOX who are much better than Megyn’s style of reporting.

  • TocksNedlog

Some “update”. We were told — back when the announcement about Megyn moving to prime time was first made — that everybody else would be back.

[Try telling that to some of the less-than-well-informed commenters on this thread, though!]

    • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

      Amen to that! The first rumor (Made jokingly, I guess by Shep) I heard was that O’Reilly was fired. As I thought… JUST A RUMOR! Jawamax 8<{D}

  • ELC

Lets just say I’m happy I’m not Roger Ailes. Why would he knock off Hannity at 9 pm when he has a golden goose In that time slot? Looks to me they have too many people and not enough time slots to keep everyone happy. This way you are giving everyone their hour on tv. They could leave Shep at an earlier time, followed by “The Five,” Bret Baer, Megyn, Bill O’ Reilly, Hannity and then Greta. Shep doesn’t have to be on twice in the afternoon and early evening. Knock him off at 7pm and fit in Megyn. I can’t see them putting Sean Hannity anywhere else. Unless of course he’s happy with a time schedule move?Good luck to Roger, I wouldn’t want his job. This one is one big headache.

  • bkeyser

    Guess:

1-2pm, new women-only roundtable (McCallum, Green, Lee, etc)
    2-4pm, Shep
    4-5pm, Cavuto
    5-6pm, Five
    6-7pm, SR
    7-8pm, Hannity
    8-9pm, BOR
    9-10pm, MK
    10-11pm, GVS

  • Jeanne Carbone Devitto

    So how will it go? 8-Bill O, 9-Megyn, 10-Hannity, 11-Greta?

    • Melanie Ashby

      I was thinking – since she has a newborn – Megyn 7; Bill 8; Hannity 9; Greta 10.

  • Elysse Hamilton

I really hope this is true. So tired of hearing Hannity repeat himself and repeat himself. :-) Megyn is smart, informed and very articulate. Not to mention she’s interesting and witty. She could actually draw in viewers who will otherwise not give Fox a chance.

  • Fredddd

Greta will soon enough be back at Clinton Nonews Network(CNN)…

  • nhdunk

push someone to 11,maybe news?Shep?and pull in red eye to 12.then start the repeats.

  • Robert Olechnowski

I’m for kicking Hannity off all together. He is too biased and doesn’t fit in with Fox’s “Fair and Balanced” mantra! Megyn is a much better fit at 9.

  • nmfd72

who gives a rat’s arse? I sure don’t, these creeps have signal handedly destroyed the GOP with their far right nonsense! One of the main reason why my wife and I left the GOP and became independents!

Don’t respond, it only feeds the troll.

        • nmfd72

Obviously you were never true Republicans anyway—so good riddance. We don’t need RINOs choosing our candidates and your independent status is just another way of saying that you’ll vote with a wet finger in the air.

      • nmfd72

You apparently aren’t old enough to know what the true Republican and Democratic Parties were all about. Your ignorance is very evident based on your response. You are about to witness both parties becoming more and more marginalized due in large part to people who think like you. The two party system we knew years ago have died a violent death. We on the other hand will continue to support TRUE conservative candidates regardless of party afiliation. Good Luck to you.

        • $38343398

You wouldn’t know true conservatism if it smacked you in the forehead.

          • nmfd72

Let’s see how your “brand” of conservatism holds up during the next few election cycles. Hope you have a metal jock strap on, you’re gonna need one!

  • Melanie Ashby

Happy to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck is going to a ‘friend’lier environment…lol Sorry to say if Fox bumps Greta .. so sad, too bad. Her show irritates me. Mostly because her leads of 50 minutes move into “beefy” segments of 30 seconds that can be summed with Antarctica is cold… Ya think? Needless to say (STFU Greg), it was a waste of DVR space so she’s been off my list of favs for 2 years now. I’d like to see Megyn get a shot in her stead.

  • fireandreamitchell

Obviously Fox isn’t moving BOR because of his ratings. If Hannity gets the 4pm/7pm slot, BOR, then Megyn and Greta it’s a good move. Less Shepard Smith = win.

  • keith

I will watch less when elizabeth hasselback starts just cant stand the site of her

    • Joe

I just mute her, she is nice to look at.

way to give someone a chance

  • gpearl

Lately, I have been turning the channel when Hannity is on. I don’t know why, but there is desperation in his voice and it turns me off. On radio, I am a big Wilkow fan. I would be a Rush fan again if he would go to satellite radio. I could never get tired of Rush. But lately, I have been backing away from Hannity and Mike Church. I am a big news/talk show junkie.

    • makeupdiva

because the entire nation is desperate – do you see where we are? I desperately wish Americans would say enough and do what we need to do to get our country back before it is too late

      • gpearl

We are all desperate, but Hannity’s approach makes you want to turn the station. He was my favorite from 2001 to about 2008. After that, I would rather not watch him more than a few minutes. If you’re insinuating that we all do not think we have a desperate situation today, then you misunderstood my evaluation.

  • Bowser

I hope they cut Shep to one show a day – the afternoons. Let Hannity follow Brett at 7pm. Let Obama follow Grover Cleveland into obscurity. Let God return to our schools, military, court rooms, and our churches. Let Bill and Hillary return to Greasy Corner, Arkansas.

  • AZWarrior

Could stand to see Shep replaced by Harris F. She is excellent.

  • ShawnLaverty

I hope takes his radio show too! Enough Hannity

  • Franklin P. Coltrane

I really am sick of Oreilly and Hannity both. Love Fox, share thier viewpoint, but man is it about time for something NOT stale.

    • makeupdiva

oreilly has been an ORINO as of late

  • Michael Hernandez

    maybe she will replace Shlep

  • http://yeehee.com/ Yeeheecom

Not really news. If you watched Megyn Kelly on a regular basis you would have known this was coming. She said a few months ago she was moving and the boss gave her own show. I love watching her. Smart lady and doesn’t take crap from no one .

    • jimb82

I remember before she was on in the daytime, she was one of the newsbreak infobabes, and at about 2 or 3 in the morning I was up and North Korea did their nuclear explosion, so she was the only one in the studio live. She interviewed an expert on North Korean nuclear weapons and the way she was having a conversation with him demonstrated that she really knew what was going on. I was amazed that any news reader would be able to interact with a guest at no notice on a pretty esoteric topic, so it’s no surprise she has risen to the top. Megyn’s just getting started, folks.

  • Kristy Patullo

    Wow, big news! Congrats, Megyn!

FOX is not the home of “Conservative” news anyway. It’s a ruse contrived as a mild palliative for conservatives while they watch their country and their rights slip away.

  • makeupdiva

I love Megyn , she’s a sweetheart for sure , but I don’t want to see Hannity , Cavato , or the five to go nor do I want to see anything happen to fox and friends and all the gang ! whats that elrado, he can go and o riley , he’s too controlling .that’s my opinion though.

    This is great News… O’Reilly & Hannity repeat at 11PM AND 12AM…
