When it comes to Anthony Weiner, there’s just so much material to milk. Now, The New Yorker’s getting in on the action.

Take a long, hard look at the cover for their August 5 issue:

Welp, there’s nothing remotely subtle about that. And that’s exactly how we like it:

King. Dong.

Oh, burn!

  • TocksNedlog

Should’ve had a tiny ‘helpless Huma’ in his other hand.

    • Clayton Grant

I understand your sentiment, but I don’t think she is helpless at all. She’s complicit in a power-play.

      • The Penguin

Agreed, I’m not understanding why this is not being seen by people.

        • Michelle

I think it’s pretty obvious to a lot of us. When this nonsense first broke, she encouraged him to not resign from Congress. When it broke again, she’s standing by him and pleading with the people to still consider him for Mayor of NYC. Clearly she just wants to be married to a person with an important title. My guess is, once he’s officially pulled out of the race and with that, has absolutely no chance of a job in politics again, she’ll be divorcing him.

          • Maxx

Indeed….only the speed of light will move quicker than the HUMAn Door Mat, once hubby is out of politics.

      • TocksNedlog

Okay then; she can be hanging on his arm, with a sign across her chest that says “BRAVE”.

      • Charm7

        She’s pathetic!

      • Jeremy

Yeah she is behind all of this. She worked under Hillary Clinton enough said.

    • angel_e

The crafty, little Muslima Sistah — with extensive family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda — is anything but ‘helpless’. She’s got plans for the US.

Weiner is her tool. No doubt, she’s very embarrased by him as he hasn’t been a very good, little tool — due to his freakishly obsessive pride in his own tool. But she is no innocent doormat. If anything, the US is her doormat, as it is for all of Muslim Brotherhood and Radical Islam.

      • Rocky Raccoon

        “weiner is her tool” lol

  • NixTyranny

    Is he sexting Lady Liberty?

John Cuneo has out-done himself, but why aren’t those helicopters strafing Senior Danger?

  • SansMercy

First official act as mayor. Lookout Mt. Rushmore.

  • Clete Torres

    SERIOUS projection there…

  • Rob

Awful lot of media helicopters. Shouldn’t there just be Andrew Brietbart?

    • thetreyman

  • Dexter Alarius

This guy’s ego is so big, I bet he’ll be autographing these covers.

  • http://davelucasmobile.wordpress.com/ DaveLucasNotes

    Heads up, Carlos! Boing!

  • MarcusFenix

The New Yorker cover is clearly erroneous, because it’s depicting him with his pants still on.

  • walterc

This is just free campaign coverage for the big weiner. I’m still thinking he’ll be the next mayor of NYC.

  • Teacher_in_Tejas

And this A**hole still has a good chance of being elected. I am amazed that a city with so many intelligent people continue to vote for idiots like Rangel, Dinkins and this guy, “Dickens” (did you see what I did there? Huh huh? :-) )

    • Markward

When you deal with a guy who sends picks of… well… Weiner’s wiener, the shame train left the station a long time ago.

  • JoeMyGodNYC

Remember just a couple of weeks ago when everybody here agreed that the New Yorker was “the vile puppet of Obama’s Communist plan to destroy Christian America”? (To quote one commenter.)

    • Michelle

You quote “one commenter” in the same sentence you also write “everyone here agreed” Joe, you are so fascinating.

      • JoeMyGodNYC

Go read the comments. They were universally derisive.

        • http://www.freedomreconnection.com CO2 Producer

Ironic cartoon of media coverage on cover of media is ironic.

          Feel better now?

        • Michelle

I don’t need to read the comments Joe. You wrote, “everyone here agreed…” I’m here, Joe. I don’t recall agreeing. There are countless people “here” Joe, (and by here I assume you mean Twitchy) and unless there are well over a few hundred comments and or up votes on the one comment you quoted, then you’re wrong. Flat out wrong.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

Unless you are much dumber than the average Twitchy reader (a roll of the dice, to be sure), you know exactly what I meant. Pedantism is very tiresome.

          • WilliamAmos

Some of our readers do drag the average down.

          • Michelle

“Dumb” is not an adjective I’ve ever heard to describe me. I can only go by what you wrote which was, “everyone here agreed.” If you meant something else, then trying using something else such as “A lot of people here agreed” or “many people here agreed”

    • WisconsinPatriot

      Joe, is everything gay?

    • Catchance

Just because they get it right once in awhile doesn’t mean that they aren’t tools for the Demwit party. By far the majority in the media are liberal progressives, and that includes the staff of The New Yorker. The cover depicting Bert and Ernie as a ‘couple’ watching SCOTUS is offensive to most conservatives. This new cover is offensive to only a handful of people; to all the rest it’s Weiner himself who is offensive.

  • Axelgreaser

OMG! BEST COVER OF THE YEAR, ONLY AUBREY BEARDSLEY COULD HAVE PACKED AS MUCH EROTICISM INTO THE SCHNITZEL WIENER’S climb to the top! Next week Elliot Putzer, please! (Gasping for breath and laughing thru tears) Can we ever look at The Empire State Building again without snickering!

  • StubbornlyRational

New Yorkers pride themselves on going against common sense on nearly every political issue. The city has a huge Jewish population, so naturally they vote for the party that undermines support for Israel. The city has outrageous taxes, so naturally they vote for Charlie Rangel, a tax cheat. So it makes sense that New Yorkers will elect Carlos Danger as their next mayor.

  • Dane Gunderson

    Best cover ever.

Still wouldn’t ever buy that piece of sh!t leftist trash however.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    WIN!! Except it should be called ‘KING WONG’ (Shorter Weiner… See what I did? XD ) Jawamax 8<{D}

  • Lyle Petersen

While we’re all lavishing praise on the New Yorker (who are very late to this party, fantastic cover aside), we should remember that it is thanks to the late Andrew Breitbart that this man will never be given a position of authority again.

    • Worship Dancer

i wouldn’t hold your breath on that one. it IS New Yuck after all.

  • right_on

Carlito dangle…married to Ima Weiner, too! Someone please ask Hum-iliation if she’s planning a run for office! Who could trust a woman so willing to ignore basic trust issues? If you can’t be loyal to a spouse, why should anyone think you’d be loyal to the concept of fiduciary responsibility. AKA: Trust?

  • Marty Luther

Well, at least it isn’t the cover of the Rolling Stone.

  • Magnifico

I have nothing snarky to add. This is the best…..in the presence of greatness. I’m not worthy.

  • andycanuck

I’m sure they didn’t mean anything by it. Sometimes the Empire State Building is just an erection in NYC.

  • AZfederalist

Definite evidence that The Party has decided Weiner needs to go. Probably not because of moral outrage (The Party has no such standards) but due to abject stupidity on Weiner’s part — he is no longer deemed useful to The Party. Also may be a subtle message to the Clinton wing by way of an attack on their toadie Huma. Tis in no way The New Yorker “getting it right”, it is The New Yorker, as propaganda arm of The Party, delivering a purge notice to Weiner.

  • Blargette

No Kilroy was here? He could have been jammed in.

At least they drew pants on him. Those diaper panties he wears have no whiff of danger (unless you count #2).

  • American-By-Choice

Well, I think we can all agree, Wiener truly bespeaks the nature of the Democrat Party.

Wiener sez: “I am so hot to $!ck you.”

We get that. But, we’re gonna have to say: “No Thanks”. We’re already in a relationship with others on your team, so there’s no room.

  • Al_the_Fish

What a knob! Well done New Yorker.

  • Shawn Fifield

Mr Danger will probably win they NY mayor seat…. woot.
