Kentucky’s own Ashley Judd has been mulling a possible U.S. Senate bid for a while now. Can you smell the cinematic potential? Conservative blogger and Twitterer extraordinaire Jon Gabriel sure can, and to that end, he’s taken it upon himself to cast and outline the inevitable romantic comedy based on Judd’s humble journey to Washington.

Hollywood, brace yourselves:

Wow that was good. I can see that happening.

There’s got to be a job for Morgan Freeman in her campaign.

He could do another voice-over ad like he did for Baraka. You know, the one where he told us about the economy turning around and assembly lines humming again.

I’d roll choice scenes from Bug. That freaked me out.

A better role for Freeman is John Yarmuth. LOUISVILLE’S (self professed) FAVORITE LIBERAL! A man whose hatred for McConnell runs so deep, he’ll do anything to throw him out of the senate. But who knows that liberals from Louisville have no chance in statewide elections in Kentucky. So he drafts Ashley to fight his battles for him.

A true coward, if there ever was one.

Lots of opportunity for the pony to end up as horsemeat served at Ikea in the sequel. No, not Ikea, but instead from domestic Evil Cattle Rancher Guy. Who, of course, is a classmate of McConnell.

I don’t know which Katherine Heigl Jon Gabriel is talking about but the one I know already has a puffy face. No enhancements needed.
