Before  Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s pathetic gun-grabbing theater officially got underway, she kicked off the proceedings with a politically charged prayer led by Gary Hall, Dean of the National Cathedral:

Uh, pardon? Libs are always up in arms over the need for separation of church and state:

Suddenly it’s OK to manipulate religion in order to combat the Second Amendment?

In other words, grant our leaders the strength to take ours away.

It’s sickening.

God won`t answer a prayer from heathens.

    God won’t be manipulated.

Liberal hypocrisy is to invoke the name of God only when it benefits them in some way and to ban the name of God at other times. #LiberalLogic – Do they have brains at all or is it as Rabbit suggested, there is only gray fluff between their ears?

Lord protect us from those who know what’s best for eveyone else.

No, Ms Feinstein & Gary Hall, it is NOT your “moral obligation” to restrict guns. In fact, it is immoral to try to diminish, whittle away, or infringe upon our God-given, natural, and fundamental Right to Bear Arms. Ms Feinstein, it is leaders like you that we should fear as you try to impose large government and legislate control. You are the very tyranny our founders spoke of. You will not succeed. You have met a formidable opponent. The will of the people is greater than your wish to rule.

I pray that my state and my country may one day be free of authoritarians like Dianne Feinstein.

Father God, please afflict our leaders with Your Righteousness, may they be brought low and replaced with men of wisdom and righteousness, in Jesus’s name, Amen

These people have me thoroughly disgusted now!

    God shall not be mocked…

The other day DesertLover had a picture that defined the difference between a statesman and a politician. In short a politician is one who does not trust you. Feinstein is not a statesman.

Washington National Cathedral is the one allowing perverted wedding functions now, right? So you know that prayer wasn’t going to anyone that mattered.

    “Defy the gun lobby…”

…ignore the wishes of the constituents the lobby represents.

The populist rhetoric against lobbyists is inane. Lobbyists are essential to a representative government. They not only represent voters’ interests (in many cases, anyway) but they inform legislators.

Sorry Dianne, God doesn’t get rid of God-given rights
