Evidently, gun-grabbing ghoul David Frum was only getting warmed up when he cracked jokes about the Newtown tragedy. This morning, he once again donned his “thinking” cap and showed off his douchenozzlery:

He could have stopped there. He should have stopped there. But since when has Frum demonstrated he has the integrity to exercise that kind of restraint? He kept going:

Absolutely despicable. Gun rights advocates were furious, and they lined up to give him the throttling he so richly deserves:

Or, put another way:

What a vile creature.

He is arguing from emotion. Like an adolescent.

It would be just another sad fact except that Mr. Frum and others like him are elevated in our political media.

Which is why I don’t read it or watch it. Frum confirms my worst suspicions about the quality of intellect in that line of work. There are exceptions to be sure, but the common pundit is a jackass in my opinion.

    • TheKingJAK

Almost every leftist liberal I’ve ever met argues from pure emotion sans facts, and without real world understandings. Essentially, leftists are kids who never matured. Fortunately, they can sometimes be good people, but their comprehension of the world is naive at best.

  • Fire and Adjust!

HJ Resolution 114 includes Max Baucus, Joe Biden (now the VP), Hillary Clinton (now the SoS), Tom Daschle, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Diane Feinstein, John Kerry (soon to be SoS?), Mary Landrieu, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer (Among others) ALL voting YES to enter the Iraq War………… which consequently resulted in the deaths of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians and 4,287 American soldiers……………………….. By David Frum’s logic, these elected officials who voted YES to enter Iraq are guilty in the deaths of over 104,000 people………..Will David Frum emphatically state that these politicians put 104,000 people in their graves and demand they be held responsible?

He’d never say that. He’s still blaming only Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

And don’t even mention to him that twice as many US warriors have been killed in Afghanistan in 4 years of Obama than during 8 years of Bush.

Don’t over-think yourself on this one. You don’t want to heat up and have to go outside to stick your head in the snow!

Those despicable conservative republicans! Circle the firing squad, ready, fire, aim!

    • rivers

Are you being ironic or did you just make a “joke” that all conservative republicans should be shot? I would like to know, because as a mother I really want to be able to honestly educate my kids as to what kind of world we are living in and just how dire some people like you think the “punishment” should be for those who hold beliefs that differ from your own.

      • $30158943

I’m being neither ironic nor advocating violence. Only noting that conservatives have a penchant for attacking their own if they step outside of strict conservative dogma

        • GaryTheBrave

It’s been a very long time since David Frum has been “one of (our) own.”

          • $30158943

As I say, circle the firing squad. Member of AIPAC, GWB whitehouse, and conservative groups. Maybe its the right that has veered so far right that even a conservative is disowned. Keep it up and you will be a party of one.

          • TocksNedlog

HE is the one that is wrong, as are you if you agree with his position.

        • TocksNedlog

Oh yes, the “David Frum is a conservative because he says he is” argument. By that logic, Andrew Sullivan is president of the John Birch Society.

        • michael s

I’m glad you noticed on how republicans get attacked if the have free thought. They must stay on the CONSERVATIVE PLANTATION .

  • GaryTheBrave

I just realized that both David Frum and Sandra Fluke have last names that contain F and U.

  • Penmar

Libs just don’t want the finger pointed back at them for refusing to do anything about Mental Health issues, they are so concerned that people with seriously dangerous mental issues don’t have their rights trampled on that they have effectively passed legislation which doesn’t allow an avenue for a spouse or parent or concerned relative/friend/teacher, etc., to get the person with homicidal mental issues the help they need before they go out and kill innocent people. And frankly don’t think they care all that much as long as they get to control more of the population via constraints on our liberties granted by the Constitution.

  • TocksNedlog

    Pure unadulterated garbage!

And what he said isn’t very cool either.

This guy also recently complained about the US health care system. It is not a suprised to many of us that this guy is basically a leftist.

He showed who he really was on same-sex marriage. *Every time* one of these guys goes soft on that, we invariably find that they are not really conservatives on a host of other issues.
