Many had hoped the staunch conservative would be named GOP Conference chair, and though he eventually lost out to Cathy McMorris Rogers, there may be a lot more in the cards for Price. RedState’s Erick Erickson has been lobbying for a primary challenge against perpetual GOP waffler Chambliss, and while Erickson himself may not be eager to throw his hat in the ring, Price may be just what the doctor ordered.
