Lefties are freaking out at the prospect of election monitors who won’t turn a blind eye to fraud. Terry McMillan is no exception. She embarked on a rather paranoid rant last night in which she warned her followers about the dangers of election integrity and valid IDs:

By the way, Republican poll watchers and the horrific burden of voter ID aren’t the only things Terry hates:

TMI, honey.

Her silver hoop isn’t the only thing she’s lost.

I live in South Carolina and I have ALWAYS been asked for my Driver’s License when voting. I hand it over with pride. When in your life does showing proof of who you are matter more than voting?

    • Jugstopper

I live in SC and have never, ever had to show anything more than my voter registration card. Not sure if the law has changed this year.

    • bird2322

@twitter-18509680:disqus @Jugstopper:disqus I’m an SC girl, too, and am always asked for *either* my voter reg. card or my license. I believe it’s either / or. Further, for this woman to imply that the volunteers at our SC polling stations are “vampires” or bullies or whatever…is just highly insulting. I’ve never been bullied here and I’ve never faced any sort of problem in SC. I’ve also not seen anyone around me face that kind of foolishness. I have lived in another state, however, and *that* is where I was ridiculed for my politics. But not in SC.

I hate it when a nitwit publicly complains about things that a deceased soldier would LOVE to be able to experience if he/she were alive…………I hate it when a nitwit publicly complains about things an unemployed person would have no problem enduring on their way to a new job…………. I hate it when a nitwit publicly complains about trivialities when there are countless people in the NE with no homes, electricity, running water, etc……………

    • Shawn Smith

But didn’t you hear from OWS how much better those people’s lives are without those evil products of capitalism? Evil, evil electricity that lets people preserve and cook their food and heat their homes.

Was she the poster child for the origin of “H8er” that can be seen on blogs, twitter, etc.

  • Jack Deth

This woman sure likes to see herself tweet.
I wonder where the responses and re-tweets are?

Irrelevancy, they name is Terry McMillan!

I live in Texas. I just voted, was asked to show ID, and I did. Gladly. Also glad I bought “Waiting To Exhale” at a thrift store.

barb, did you use too much of the male hormones again?

  • Colleen Kelly

I honestly find it weird not to be asked to show an ID when voting. Unfortunately some people in PA see it as no big deal, and we’ll have to wait until 2013 to see if the bill can again pass. In the meantime, poll workers can ask for ID, but they can’t turn down anyone who doesn’t have one. But in PA getting an ID for voting is free, so there should be no issue come 2013…I would hope. Is it really an inconvenience to spend ten seconds of your life taking out the ID and putting it back?

“Take their picture with your cell phone and watch them act like vampires & you just held up a cross.”

I think she means “act like a liberal.”.

  • Catherine

All that hate in just one day…wow. Must be pretty miserable.

  • Bill

just (early) voted in sunny Florida. Not only did they require a photo ID but you also are required to sign for your ballot – AND – they match your signature to your photo ID. Very organized and very honest. ps – voted for the 45th President of the United States Willard Mitt Romney!

  • Right Wired

I’m not sure if the Black Panther thugs will let me photograph them.

  • stuckinIL4now

What no advice on how to handle bloodsucking Democrat poll monitors?
And if you’re going to make a big stink on Twitter giving advice about something like taking cellphone photos of poll monitors make sure you give accurate advice: Some states prohibit the use of cellphones inside polling places.

  • Sarah Korin

There should be no problem showing your I.D. unless you are doing something you’re not supposed to be doing…. There are tons of things in this country that require showing your ID to do… Showing and ID is only a problem if you are doing something illegal.

  • exdeminNC

Just voted in SC and had to show ID, signs everywhere. Also everywhere: lots of minorities who were neither suppressed or bothered by having to prove who they were. Hmmmm….

  • Scott

I hate when you bra is to tight also. TRY PUTTING IT AROUND YOUR NECK AND SEE IF THAT HELPS.

  • medicinewomantwo

Da mn this child has no friends or life………..what a waste of good organs.

  • SuperFash

Tell Terry Obama was filmed showing his ID when he did early voting in Chicago. And he smiled at the poll workers.

  • Jer

I hate when I accuse the other side of using our favorite tactics and nobody believes it.

  • littleones

I hate it when non-citizens vote twice!

  • Hello Jerry (D)

Was thinking about this loudmouth the other day… was hoping she had fallen off the face of the earth.

  • detroit19

OMG! Did she have a stroke? WTH is she babbling about? I also live in SC and proudly offer my SC driver’s license and voter I’D card. I wouldn’t’t have it ANY other way.

  • Dan Thorpe

I hate people that bring this up. You have to show ID for so many things but people think its unconstitutional to show ID when you vote? GTFO

  • lillymckim

This lady lives the life of her fantasy characters in her books..
Since when does voting legally in the United States of America become a crime?
Legal voting in the Unites States of America “IS THE NORM” its what makes this county exceptional!
I guess if you live in Venezuela it could be a problem… lame excuse for accepting illegals voting for Obama and she knows it!
She’s not a dumb lady but her comments are.

  • lillymckim

    Me me me me me me me me me me I I I I I I I I I
Good grief lady you have way too much time on your hands do something useful today and volunteer to help those “Poll Folks” aka volunteers at your local precinct to ask people for their FREE Voters Registration Cards and their FREE Photo ID’s!
It’s what we do in the good ole’ USA and thats what has always set us apart from communist countries with dictatorships thats how why we will continue to have LEGAL VOTING!

Sesame Street word of the day LEGAL!

  • tt11

I’ve voted in TX and KY and always just had to show my driver’s license. You also need ID to set up utitilies and rent property and buy property and buy a car and buy liquor and spray paint and open a bank account and cash a check and the list goes on. The argument that getting an ID is too burdensome is just silly.

  • orringtonmom (D)

is what she just tweeted case book voter supression? so she is fighting for the right for people to vote by denying people the right to vote.
