GOP Rep. Steve Scalise was perhaps overly optimistic in advance of Donald Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki. It didn’t turn out to go as well for America as Scalise apparently thought it would.
But that doesn’t make Scalise’s stroll down Memory Lane any less damning. For Obama, that is:

Well, Trump did choke. Hard. On his own words, if you believe his “would” vs. “wouldn’t” explanation. But Trump’s spinelessness notwithstanding, Scalise is right that Obama and his administration completely dropped the ball with regard to Russia.
