Some people never learn. According to the CDC, “Every day, almost 30 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. This amounts to one death every 48 minutes.1  The annual cost of alcohol-related crashes totals more than $51 billion.” These accidents spike up during the holiday season, and this year is no different.

Please be careful, get a designated driver, and do the right thing, people.

    Sad for everyone’s losses.

Only thing we can do is blame the NRA. Only method that may teach these drunk drivers a lesson!

My thoughts always go to the frailty of human nature. How can anyone possibly deny there is a nasty fault line in the human soul? Dare I say, original sin?

Millions and millions of people turn their lives over to alcohol and drugs. Their friends and families watch them die a slow death as they destroy not just their relationships, but many innocent lives as well.

It’s a good reminder. We Americans pride ourselves on being very self-sufficient, can-do people. But please be humble. Each of us has an Achilles heel, a weakness that can consume us and kill us.

There but for the grace of God, literally, go each of us.

    Please pray for these people.
