“1600 Penn,” NBC’s new “comedy,” premieres on January 10. Tonight, TV viewers were treated to a promo ad. Well, “treated” isn’t the right word. “Subjected” or “tortured” seems more appropriate judging from the response. The overwhelming Twitter verdict?
“Just awful.”
Here’s why “1600 Penn” was trending on Twitter this evening:

What's the over/under on how many episodes it takes 1600 Penn to be canceled? It looks miserable. Just. Awful.

Is there a show being promoted with less appeal than 1600 Penn? I give it 4 episodes.
