William Shatner's dog to undergo surgery, actor asks for prayers

Sometimes we forget that those characters we watch on our televisions all our lives are real people too, dealing  with their own problems.

The legendary William Shatner asked for kind thoughts and prayers on his Twitter today for his dog Starbuck, who will have to undergo surgery.

I don't normally ask but my dog Starbuck is undergoing surgery today. If you could send positive thoughts I would be most appreciative. MBB
