Presidenting is hard! But, hey, it involves sanctions or something.

Fox News’ Ed Henry questioned President Obama on the Obama Doctrine during a press conference in the Philippines.

Whatever, rubes! It’s too time-consuming and all. Plus, you wouldn’t understand the nuance-y nuance and stuff.

Citizens graciously help the president out.

ABC’s Jonathan Karl offered up his summation of the Obama Doctrine.

And this Twitter user summed it up in one word:

Here is a follow-up exit question for the media:

Well, according to our Constitutional scholar of a President, the “Obama Doctrine” is like the Constitution– it’s a living breathing thing, subject to constant revision. After all it can’t possibly mean today what it meant yesterday, nor can it tomorrow mean what it does now. We’re constantly faced with new situations no formulator of any doctrine could have foreseen, and as such we cannot allow ourselves to become hidebound. In other words, the Obama Doctrine is, whatever Obama feels like on the given day:

“It’s a living thing, what a terrible thing to lose! It’s a given thing, what a terrible thing to lose! I’m taking a dive (*dive*dive*)…”

    • Donald-Now2x/Sarc-w/0calories

“Politics And The English Language” (essay, George Orwell, 1946) has the famous Biblical verse of Ecclesiastes 9:11 translated into modern Contemporary English as opposed to its rendering into Early Modern English of the 17th C.:

“Here is a well-known verse from

‘I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor
the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to
men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance
        happeneth to them all.’

“Here it is in modern English:

‘Objective considerations of contemporary phenomena compel the conclusion
that success or failure in competitive activities exhibits no tendency to
be commensurate with innate capacity, but that a considerable element of the
unpredictable must invariably be taken into account’.”

I am the only one that is allowed to lie and say that it isn’t a lie, and tell another lie to say that that was the truth, that I didn’t lie―
I was assigned to be the Marxist Communist Dictator to all of America, that is why I was elected twice―
I am your judge and jury―
I bankrupted and spent more money than any president in the history of all of America , because I could, and it is all good for those that I choose to have some of other people’s hard earned taxpayers money―
There will be no individual thought process for anyone, I only know what is right for anyone, anywhere in America or in the entire world―
Your child will be raised by my dictates, as all children belong to the village―

I get to decide what is right or wrong about you, you have no say in any matters, what so ever―
The difference you can and will make in your life is me and only me assigning those differences to them―
Just follow me, vote for me and my party affiliates and you will be just fine; however if you I (my team) we have a DOJ/NSA, and others on my team that will see to it that you will wish that you did think the collective utopian thoughts through the first time around and will fix you up for not doing what we demanded you to do―

Stay Tuned for further, dictates and mandates as I have a pen and a phone, and I have all NSA/DOJ abilities to prove that I am right and you are wrong and I will banish you from the earth, if you go up against my totalitarian authority what so ever― move or say the wrong thing that I think is wrong and I will excoriate you, or coerce you, or ruin you in some way shape form or fashion―

Your precious one and only and I do ask, “What’s not to Love about me?”

If Obama doesn’t know his own doctrine (and these comments are based on the premise that he has one – that premise being worth a post of its own), then it would likewise be impossible for other nations to know it. Therefore, other nations would be incapable of acting to help us (if they were our allies), or to be deterred by it (if they were our enemies). The best our allies could do is shrug and do what they want, and the worst our enemies could do is take advantage of the vacuum of leadership and do whatever they want. You cannot lead without a clear purpose.
