Great photo. As Twitchy reported, President George W. Bush attended the Nelson Mandela memorial Tuesday, where he displayed his usual class (while disgracefully being booed). President Obama? Took a funeral selfie. Funeral. Selfie.

But what else happened aboard Air Force 1? This:

So awesome.

We would have loved it too.

Agreed.

Yep.

Never change, President Bush.

GW took up painting after leaving office, curious if BO will be taking up basket weaving after he’s left?

One has to have some coordination and skill to weave a basket…

You too and the rest of the decent Americans on board here.

I’ll bet anyone here that President Obama goes on to do very worthy humanitarian work, just as President Clinton has. Hey, what a coincidence…they’re both Democrats!

No one has done more humanitarian work in Africa- in getting anti-retroviral meds to those nations and helping to stem the tide of HIV on that continent- than George W. Bush!!

      • robert anthony

That’s why hardly any leave office…Pelosi might have to get rid of her illegal alien laborers if she hopes to compete….but then who would look bad next to a boy-king who cause millions to lose insurance and destroys the middle-class? Maybe he could donate his used underwear for tax credit.
Nothing says ‘service’ like charging hundreds of thousands for speaking engagements.

        • Paul V Sutera

Please, Ann Romney used illegals to groom her horse. Of course it was a temporary arrangement. I know the where and when of this. She did not personally hire the undocumented worker. It’s just where she boarded her horse temporarily used them routinely. This is common across the political spectrum.

          • Bill Hensley

why did you foolishly say “undocumented work” the truth is illegal alien and I do mean alien

          • robert anthony

Pelosi added an amendment to a Bill which would relieve employers of illegal aliens from having to pay for medical, and especially emergency . care of illegal aliens. That’s a little different than having an agency send out illegals, sight unseen, isn’t it now, genius? That’s like comparing a man who hires a roofing contractor, who is American, to fix his roof and then finds Mexicans are doing all the work the next day with a President selling guns to Mexican drug cartels in an effort to use the resultant violence as an argument to ban long-guns. You liberals are really bad at the apples and oranges idea, aren’t you? But you go ahead and let me know when Ann Romney is writing tax laws, regulations, and laws aimed at you, genius.

          • Paul V Sutera

Mr Romney was there with his wife between governorship and running for presidency. You also do not see Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona going after employers and fining them do you? Of course not. The only get tough on illegals talk you hear is just for show. You actually seem to believe that your side is against illegal immigration, but really it’s pure political posturing. Same for Democrats… who are in reality deporting FAR more illegals in 2 years than Bush did in 8 years of the presidency. As far as the guns for cartels, Fast and Furious started under the Bush regime. More illegals crossed the border under Bush than before or since. Many Republicans favor H1B visa extensions that cost American I/T workers their jobs. Follow the votes.

          • disqus_qpG5Cs1ouE

The difference in Bush and obama in gun running is the mexican government was involved with
            Bush on it.

          • Classic Conservative

Paul seems to have his head so far up his ass that he is long gone. 1) Ann Romney had NOTHING to do with any illegals that may have been hired where her horse was taken care of. 2) Brewer passed a law punishing employers who hire illegals. Holder’s DOJ fought it and the SCOTUS agreed with Brewer. 3) The GOP does FAR more in combating illegal immigration than Democrats. You think it’s Republican mayors and city councils that create “sanctuary cities”. Was it a Republican VP who said that when an illegal immigrant graduates from college that a green card should be stapled to their diploma? Nope.

Oh, and Donks are NOT deporting “far more illegals” than Bush did in 8 years. This was debunked long ago. The fact is less illegals are crossing over because our economy sucks and there isn’t as mush opportunity. You need to STOP DRINKING THE KOOLAID.

          • Paul V Sutera

A program similar to Fast and Furious did go forward under the Bush administration in 2006 and 2007. That program, called Operation Wide Receiver, also attempted to track suspicious weapons. Allowing gun sales to go forward even when the ATF had probable cause to believe the sales were unlawful has come to be known as “gun walking.”

The two operations — Fast and Furious and Wide Receiver — had some similarities, and both were run out of the ATF’s Phoenix Field Division. The inspector general explored both programs in depth and found similar problems.

“The risk to public safety was immediately evident in both investigations,” the inspector general’s report states.

The White House told us that Obama was referring to the general practice of gun walking, which happened in both administrations. “The President was referring to the flawed tactic of gun-walking, which despite Republicans efforts to politicize this issue, began under the previous administration and it was our attorney general who ended it,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz.

          • http://www.facebook.com/sstephaniew stephanie wilson

Now let’s talk about Bush’s THIRTEEN Benghazis.

          • robert anthony

Sorry, I’m not playing this game..it’s worn out and all you idiots do it. Now, you’re going to drop those points where you failed, like FnF and try a different angle?…sorry. Your only defense of Obama is to point and say ‘So and so did it…”? What happened to change in Washington? I thought that’s why you fools voted for him. Now, Obama doubles down on corruption and malfeasance and your excuse is, “Meh, other people are criminals too!”. Obama leaves Americans to die and your excuse is ‘Hey, he’s no different from that guy we all hated for 8 years, but we like the black version.” That’s f**kin’ pathetic. Sorry, my days of casting pearls at libtarded swine or playing the stupid liberal game ‘let’s compare criminals’ moral relativism are over. How many more different contrasting ‘points’ you wanna jump to? From Ann Romney’s horse to Benghazi…what’s next? Seek help.

      • robert anthony

Bush serves military families…Michelle tried to hop on that train, but then her husband closed food commissaries for struggling military families, cut out hot meals for servicemen in Afghanistan, un Constitutionally cut their cost of living raise for next year, attempted to deny them insurance benefits,….

        • Paul V Sutera

Wow, the koolaid you drank is fermented dude. When Obama took over the VA hospitals were in shambles. We wouldn’t have so many veterans in need in the first place if we didn’t enter so many ill-advised wars under the previous president. These people don’t go away once they are disabled for life at age 22.

          • robert anthony

You mean that previous President who spends his retirement working for veterans, the one who was IN the military? Now, we’re back to square one…Obama does nothing for anybody but himself. Period. Tell me he does.
‘Ill-advised wars’….3,000 American civilians murdered, you know how many terrorist islamic attacks have occurred since 9/11?…22,000. Bush is not the war-maker here…guess who is? Oh, BTW, your Mr. Hope and Change was ready to start another war, where our troops would have died FOR the same islamists radicals who cheered 9/11. Piss off.

          • Paul V Sutera

He was ready to start another war? Well if you are going to count “saber-rattling” as actual battles, GWB had many wars going. The one who was in the military fighting a war? That would be John Kerry, not GWB. You have your opinions, and 13 embassy/consulate attacks under GWB that resulted in fatalities were cited as terrorist acts. We rallied around our country and didn’t attack the president for these attacks even though Yemen and Pakistan had TWO attacks each both resulting in fatalities. Benghazi was clearly a failure too, but we blame terrorists. We didn’t put FDR on trial for Pearl Harbor either.

          • robert anthony

Remind me…I must have missed the part where Bush lied and blamed attacks on ‘criticism of islam’ and had film-makers arrested. I must have missed the part where adequate security was denied, and BUsh then went to bed to travel to a fund-raiser in the morning…despite the unfolding of a 9 hour attack. Apples and oranges again…you sure you don’t wanna bring up Reagan and Lebanon too? I ,mean, you’re obviously not listening when you continue with the ‘So and so did it…”…so it’s okay for Obama to be a scum. because ‘other scum’? I ask again, where’s teh Change? You libtards don’t get to get away with ‘rallying for Change’ and then point fingers at history when your ‘man’ turns out to be more corrupt and politically ‘entrenched’ in the Swamp then most. Sorry, that’s a fail.

“Benghazi was clearly a failure too, but we blame terrorists.” – No, barack doesn’t blame terrorists…that’s the whole point, genius.

How sad that the only defense for the ‘brilliant messiah’ you people have is to compare ‘failures’. LOL!
            Here’s you – “Obamacare’s a failure..but Ann Romney’s horse!”.

          • Joseph Bentz

John Kerry he was the hero who tried to demand a purple heart for a scratch to his hand.

          • Paul V Sutera

Wow, don’t use so many big words, it frightens me.

        • Paul V Sutera

The Congress made those changes. It’s also called winding down 13 years of warfare. Bush listened to no-one when going into Iraq. Dang college-edumucated types, always over-thinking a simple thing like war and killin’!

          • robert anthony

Wrong again, if I knew you weren’t a waste of time, I’d prove it to you…here’s one hint for another reading comprehension challenged liberal, what part of ‘unConstitutional EO’ to reduce troops cost of living increase is giving you the most trouble? Look something up once in a while, beginning with your false and debunked claim of ‘Bush did Fast n Furious’ too, then grow a brain, absorb facts, and wonder to yourself, “Where’s the ‘Change'”, genius…For Pete’s sake, I get tired of repeating the same facts to you ret*rds over and over. Reagan was right, “It isn’t that liberals don’t know anything, it’s just that so much of what they know just isn’t so.”…so far you’ve been wrong about just about everything. truly, you are the perfect example of the low-info voter.

BTW, just to be clear…because I know you miss the point..Ann Romney is not a lawmaker knowingly and willfully breaking US law by hiring illegal…Pelosi is…and she’s a lawmaker who wants citizens to prove they have insurance so she can, in her words, ‘punish the freeloaders’, while she hires illegal alien foreign invaders.
And as far as Jan Brewer, Obama sued her to keep her from enforcing immigration law, remember? I guess that’s just another well-known news item that escaped your keen view.

          • Paul V Sutera

I consulted the National Review and their beef about the deportations is that more illegals are being rounded up at the border and these are being counted as deportations. Even the conservative National Review points up 2011 as the high-water mark for deportations. For the record also, I could find no administration official bragging about deportations. This kind of: “well it’s technically not a deportation if it’s border patrol initiated”… is more hyperventilation by the conservative media. The National Review is a mouthpiece for the Wall Street fraudsters who have no credibility in my book. Although they have obviously fooled a few people.

          • robert anthony

Can you do anything besides move goal-posts?…is Nancy Pelosi, a sitting Congresswoman breaking immigration laws? The answer is yes. Thanks for playing.

          • robert anthony

Wall Street fraudsters? Like Obama’s buddy, the vulture capitalist, in whom’s house Obama vacationed at the Vineyard for 14 days? Those guys your ‘warrior of the working class’ pals around and plays golf with? Wait…don’t tell me…’Bush!”. LOL!

Let me tell you something, genius. What you’re doing right now…we could do all day. We found out today that Harry Reid went to INS to get passports for some shady Asian businessmen who were denied entry to the US EXACTLY BECAUSE they are shady, financially, because it benefits Reid’s lawyer son in a transaction over a Casino. We know today, Ed Schultz, who ‘happened’ to come to the ‘rescue’ with his news cameras during Wisconsin’s Union battle was PAID $177,00 to do so… Charlie Rangel, tax cheat, gets his portrait hung in the Capitol building. We could go back and forth like this all day. Your problem is…rather than be outraged, you make excuses for them. Rather than be a Man and an American fed up with corruption and lies, you scream ‘Bush’ so you can maintain your all-important ‘ideological purity’, so you can ‘stay in the club’, even if it means maintaining the ignorance level of your brethren in this club of servility, champions of the elitist political class!!…you must be so proud. You liberals ahould be out their demanding ‘consent of the governed’, of, by, and for the People, an honest government, or at the least, a government that’s actually afraid to get caught in the wrong by the People. Instead our corrupted, lying government knows it can count on the excuse-making and ‘shielding’ from pathetic so-called ‘citizens’ like yourself. While it also knows it can count on you to ‘go sic ’em’ whenever some TeaParty type dares to ‘get out of line’ and question the wisdom and authority of this same corrupted political class, that laughs at you…that thinks Americans are neanderthals who want Obama to pay for, and who only think about, their beer kegs and condoms. Speak truth to power”? You don’t know the meaning of the words….you think offering ‘talking points’ and insults to ordinary citizens, ones who actually see and recognize petty tyranny and criminality, is some version of ‘victory’ for you. Yes, you make excuses for villainy, theft, corruption and lies and pat yourself on the back at your ‘cleverness’ of knowing the details of Ann Romney’s f**king horse and how you might ‘take a jab’ at some working class stiff on the internet with your exemplary ‘wit’. You’re such a coward that you would actually say, “I’m sorry your pet group (edit;the military is not my ‘pet group’ idiot, it is defense of the United States as commissioned and outlined in the Constitution, unlike healthcare and Food Stamps,…fitting and typical of a liberal though, that you view these things through the lense of ‘separate ‘pet’ groups, rather than American as a whole.) was affected by cuts. My pet group was affected by cuts too…” ..knowing those in Washington you ‘defend’ from me, have no ‘pet groups’ affected by shortages at all…ever, they are not ‘sacrificing’, on the contrary, they live in opulence…yet, you readily roll over in submission, even knowing this…your only ‘strength’ and ‘fighting will’ is in making snyde comments to citizens on the internet… F**king pitiful, man really f**kin’ pitiful. May posterity forget you were ever our Countrymen.

          • robert anthony

Oh….denying affordable food to the children of our troops is just a case of ‘winding down war’? You, sir, are an idiot. BTW, Congress didn’t authorize those closings of military commissaries either…try paying attention to the Country sometime…get off your Obama knee-pads.

          • Paul V Sutera

At this time no final decisions have been made on the DOD’s 2015 budget submission. The budgetary growth for Defense has been reduced, and part of this is due to the sequester. So ummm, lets revisit this in one year. Plenty of people who worked for decades are living on $800 a month. I’m sorry your pet group was affected by cuts. My pet group was affected by cuts too. And that group includes children as well as retirees.

          • robert anthony

Final decisions are besides the point, still being, Congress does not recommend particular ‘pain’ be felt among citizens and the military, Obama does…..I say again, for the stupid,… OBAMA wants the soldiers’ raises cut, OBAMA wanted to deny them insurance benefits, OBAMA closed parks and released 2,3000 illegal aliens from jail over a tantrum regarding ‘budget cuts’…NOT CONGRESS’ ‘BUDGET’! ..Are you learning anything yet, daftness?..the point is Obama’s ideology and what he wants…defunding troops and aiding and abetting radical islam. the subject was ‘service to the County’, not line-item budget cuts…’service’ being an area where Obama is sorely lacking. Nice attempt at deflection though.

If all Carter did, was swing a hammer for Habitat, well enough, but he still writes books trashing the existence of Israel… so he gets no special pass for having been a raging failure.. Clinton, has been better than most..

George Bush, is still fund raising and helping with African AIDS relief..

so you can’t say it’s just democrats..

but before Carter, no president spent any time on big projects.. after leaving office. You shouldn’t assume anything with Obama, he’s not shown any particular fondness for private charities.

        • Zach Brewer

And don’t forget how rich people associated with the Clinton Global Initiative are getting. I think they are the real recipients of the charity, not anyone else.

        • Bill Hensley

you may be right, but odummer’s private charity is lining his own pockets with OUR tax dollars for HIS future

      • David Mitchell

What the Dems do after office is more about photo ops more than anything else. They just find what gets them pics and in the news. GWB is being quiet and staying out of the news as much as possible. He’s been there and done that and now is his ME time! I wish the Arkansas Hillbillies would do the same! Obama will probably move to Nigeria and send e-mails out asking for money! After all, he was born in Africa!

        • Paul V Sutera

I think Jimmy Carter is for real and his Habitat for Humanity is more than just a photo-op for him even today – and the man is hello, ancient.

Well, at least Carter is doing something worthwhile nowadays, because he was f_ckin useless as a President.

Because of his ineptness in handling our economy, a new word had to be created to measure the damage he did: “Stagflation.”

I wholeheartedly agree because, IMHO, there is a difference between genuine coolness, which GWB had as president and still carries today, and the incessant need to be cool despite a total lack of said coolness, to be depicted as cool by the media, and to have the media define one’s coolness by a particular group’s idea of coolness. Obama postures differently before various groups, and attempts to project coolness to each according to its definition of coolness. He has a different persona when he speaks to the Hollywood crowd than when he speaks to a veterans’ group. He speaks “teleprompter” in stentorian tones when he’s speechifying before Congress at the State of the Union, but standing before a crowd of fellow racist liberals makes his ghetto side come out to play and he forgets to speak “teleprompter” (which makes for great soundbites). He projects a different vibe when he’s on a late-night talk show than when he’s at a memorial serv… Oh, wait…never mind.

My point is that GWB was, and is, GWB, no matter where you find him. He’s the genuine article. I didn’t always agree with his actions as president, but he’s as real as it gets. And that’s cool.

Eric Holder is probably thinking “i’ve seen all these before, thanks to our friends at the NSA”

seriously, i’m hoping that President Obama is learning something about how to behave once you are out of office. GWB has had numerous opportunities to bash Obama when Obama publicly blamed Bush for all of our ills, but didn’t. Let’s hope that Obama shows some maturity when it’s his turn to be the ‘predecessor’.

you can hope all you want that O will change but……first I want to make sure he actually LEAVES…I am not convinced he is just going to gracefully, quietly get on his personal vacation mobile (AF1) in late Jan 2017. I see more of a kicking screaming refusal to leave the WH myself. He likes being the emperor and I dont think he is gonna give up this gig without a fight.

      • glassiecurio

If he actually leaves you can be certain he will NOT be quiet.

there are people who conjure up conspiracy theories as a hobby who believe that the bottom will fall out of the economy, there will be riots, Obama will declare a police state and by some uh.. i don’t know..presidential order or whatever, will suspend elections until further notice.

Probably not very constitutional, but hey, Obama doesn’t allow himself to be burdened by that document anyway.

      • Lana Leitner Butler

Sadly, Kelly, I agree with you. Would love to see him leave before 2017 myself, but then would we be stuck with the buffoon Biden?

Jarret in the back ground big smile… so Bush ISN’T the source of all evil like you Obots have been saying for six years?

Cynicism 101…. they don’t really believe what they said about him, never did..

It was all a lie to sell to the MSNBC mouth breathers and low/no info voters..

If they believed a tenth of what they said about him over the years, they wouldn’t be happily hanging out with him as he dazzeled the room.. they be in the private suite sulking like every other leftist would… or heckling him from the sidelines.

      • LisaG

Actually, I believe all of their smiles were plastered on because they knew there was at least one member of the press in the room and they fear the lens, especially Valerie Jarrett. If only Obama had been as aware of the ever-present cameras at Mandela’s memorial service as ValJar and Hillie are in this photo, we might not be as embarrassed for our country today.

I used an Android tablet that I LOVE. So I have an Android app that I use but if you use an Ipad I’m sure they have an app too. I use Sketcher. I bought the app for maybe three bucks. Honestly don’t remember. Then I use PenGo pens and brushes for tablet but there are lots available if you search Amazon. Those cost 30 bucks. Once you get used to it it’s amazing how much fun it is. You create layers, mix paints, use different pen widths. I like to think I’ve gotten pretty good at it.

However if you want to really see what you can do on a tablet you need to see some real geniuses on the tablet. Go to YouTube and search for things like “drawing on my tablet” something like that. Honestly that is what inspired me to take the time to learn how to do it. You will be amazed at some of the videos you watch.

        • BenInNY

Resting your hand on the tablet while drawing doesn’t mess things up? (I’ve always had issues with touch-screens)

          • mtshark

We get outraged? Then why are you posting erroneous points
on a different thread than the one about Obamas selfie? Could it be obsession? Never mind the fact your point is mistaken, it’s in the wrong place. I didn’t agree with a lot of what Bush did as President and will readily admit it. You seem blinded by hate of Bush or love of Obama or both. My points to you were simple, your post was in the wrong thread and a third party photo is different than three World leaders acting like stoned college kids. You can’t get more consistent than that.

          • Mango

Again, this isn’t a selfie, 3 world leaders looked like silly teenagers cramming together to get into the shot of a smart phone held by one of them while they were bored in the stands. A photographer took a photo of GW and Bono. You can pretend that you’re somehow much wiser than the rest of us but you need to understand the language you’re using in order to be consistent, if you don’t, of course no one is going to understand what you’re saying.

          • Corey Dennison

But you guys keep getting outraged out of silly nonsense.

Actually, not really outraged–but your constant idiocy come close to engendering that feeling.

          • Calcat36

I believe this troll is high on choom.

        • robert anthony

I don’t see a ‘quote’ from Bush taking the place of one from the person actually being memorialized, as we’ve seen with Obama over and over. A tribute he sends out regarding Mandella, inserting his own speech,….pathetic.

    • brainy435

Bush must have reallllllly long arms for that to be a selfie.

      • http://www.facebook.com/sstephaniew stephanie wilson

that was good!! great comeback. hahahahaha

    • Calcat36

You guys? Do you have gerbils in your pocket? Still blaming Bush? Get you some free ozerocare, pre-existing Bush Derangement Syndrome is now covered. Get help before you hurt yourself.

    • http://www.nleomf.org/officers/ FlatFoot

You wish George W. Bush was actually President (still). It would feed your famished head starving for the good old days. That’s not a “selfie”, slapdick.

      • Calcat36

That is a Chris Matthews copyrighted photograph. You are reported to DCMAA.
Do I have to type (sarc)?

    • Winter

      That’s not a selfie moron!

    • Corey Dennison

Jeez…are you STILL spamming this irrelevant pic? You are pathetic–even by troll standards.

      • Determined

I know! How many times is Twitchy going to blog about Obama’s “Selfie”? It is getting kind of funny!

        • Corey Dennison

Actually, your continual posting of an irrelevant non-selfie from a non funeral is kind of funny. Other than those facts, your post makes total sense

          /crosses eyes

          • Determined

I know – isn’t it weird how Twitchy keeps calling it a funeral! Boggling.

          • Corey Dennison

Yeah, because acting like a preening middle-schooler at a memorial is A-OK for the pResident of the USA.

            Moron.

        • robert anthony

Let’s not forget how important Christine O’Donnell reading a book on witchcraft at the age of 18 was…and Perry hunting on ground that, 100 years ago, used to have a rock on the ground that read ‘N**gerhead”. At least by Twitchy standards, what is relevant is what’s being tweeted by real people, as opposed to Dimocrats handing out talking points to Andrea Mitchell, et al. You are sad.

    • LisaG

I know that this is off-topic for this thread, but I feel the need to address it. If that’s a selfie, than GWB has the longest right arm in the world. Clearly this is not a selfie. There is no arm shadow across their chests. If it WERE a selfie, Bono would have been the likely photo-taker, as he is nearest to the camera. This is more than likely prior to the start of the service anyway, as there are several empty chairs behind them, (or is that really Obama?), and completely appropriate behavior for the setting. Who says they have to be mopey, somber, and/or teary-eyed before the service has even begun? This is simply a classy photo of two well-known men seated near one another at a memorial service, and a good photo op for a journalist. I’ve not seen any pictures of them flirting with PMs from other countries.

I believe that a memorial service is usually more of a celebration of a life than a tear-filled mourning of a death, and that it’s okay to smile for a photographer’s photo. We smiled for family photos at my grandfather’s funeral (not during the actual service, but prior to it and afterward) because we saw family members that lived far away, and it was completely appropriate to take pictures that showed we were happy to be together again, despite the sad occasion. What is NOT okay is to get silly and act like a little kid, making your wife scowl with displeasure and change seats with you to get you to behave. /descends from soapbox/

  • BlackLesnar

I think Bush can take him.

  • brainy435

He wasn’t showing off his paintings, he was showing them what a working website was supposed to look like.

  • Orson Buggeigh

Nice to see so much hatred being on display, merry Christmas to you too. Now you can rush out and perpetuate the “Obama hates Christmas” theme.

    • Calcat36

When was the last time he wished America a Merry CHRISTmas?
Last Night, continuing a White House tradition, President Obama hosted his fifth Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan. The Iftar is the meal that breaks the day of fasting during Ramadan, when Muslim families eat together after sunset. During his remarks, the President thanked the Muslim community for the sacrifices they’ve made for the United States.

Throughout our history, Islam has contributed to the character of our country, and Muslim Americans, and their good works, have helped to build our nation — and we’ve seen the results. We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants — farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities. Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped to unlock the secrets of our universe.

Every day, Muslim Americans are helping to shape the way that we think and the way that we work and the way that we do business. And that’s the spirit that we celebrate tonight — the dreamers, the creators whose ideas are pioneering new industries, creating new jobs and unleashing new opportunities for all of us.

President Obama also wished Muslim Americans and Muslims all around the world a blessed Ramadan.

moo-slums have done nothing for America and they in NO WAY shape American thought or the way we do business, since they do business which CONTRADICTS American ways. Smarten up idiot.

Obama ain’t called the “Liar in Chief” for nothing!

And still you play the sycophant, even while you wallow in your pain.
All my promises are pandering lies, professed love really hate,
I am “Preezy of teh United Steezy” — and I decide your fate!

      Happy Ramadan, sheep.

      • Bill Phillips

Don’t mean to brag …but I was the one who originally put that acorn atop the already Photoshopped cigarette smoking Obama! Turns out it became a big hit based on all the people using it as their chat ‘icon’!

        • Calcat36

Aw crap. It is an ACORN. I thought it was some rasta headgear mixed with a turban. Now, ACORN makes more sense! +1

          • Bill Phillips

LOL ….sorry my friend! Here’s a few of my ‘other’ Photo-shoped creations:

        • Winter

Did you use the acorn to symbolize his close ties with the group ACORN or did you use it to symbolize that he’s nuts?

          • Bill Phillips

It was early on, during his first ascension to the “throne” when his close ties to Acorn (and it’s scandals) were being exposed to all but the willfully ignorant!

          • Winter

Great job BTW! And, he is nuts so it can work either way.

      • Calcat36

        I…. MUST….. O-B-E-Y…..

    • Winter

Hmmm……I don’t know if Obama hates Christmas because he thinks he is Santa Claus but I sure as hell know that 99% of so-called “progressives” hate it!

      • Orson Buggeigh

No, you do not know that. You are perpetuating a wishful thinking sort of lie–not quite in tune with the season, but since hate and anger is your thing, go ahead.

        • Calcat36

He does love him some ramadan, Iftar celebrations!

          • Orson Buggeigh

I agree. We really need to go back to the blissful ignorance of isolationism, one language, no foreign devils, no outside books, nothing outside our borders… just the slow decay of braindead hateful truth distorting people. Yes, indeedy, Obama is the first president to ever acknowledge any of the customs of other countries, religions, or cultures—and you would keep it that way, right?

          • Calcat36

WE really need to get back to the US Constitution, which you socialists are trying to destroy. Recognizing different customs and (*AHEM*) RELIGIONS to the exclusion of others is anti-American. Since you failed to get the talking point Bush celebrated/acknowledged those holy days as well. Jewish, moo-slum, and Christian.

Do not forget, socialist, issslam is a RELIGION! You should be moonbat crap crazy that ozero is spending TAXPAYER MONEY to recognize their holy days!

            Hypocrite much?

          • Orson Buggeigh

Uh… Christmas is the only religion-based holiday in this country. What is it you are getting at? Are you getting a bunch of days off for religious beliefs that the public doesn’t know about?

          • Calcat36

The only one that seems to twist your tights into knots. How about Easter? You know, half a day Thursday and Good Friday off? Thanksgiving? Day and following day off? Halloween? Just a Holy Day, followed by All Saints day?

Your public knows very little about religion and is more than happy to take my Holy Days off. You are an idiot, troll.

          • Orson Buggeigh

Easter Sunday … I am always off on Sunday. I had no idea Easter was a holiday. Where?
Thanksgiving… what religion are you giving that one too?
            Halloween is a holiday?
            What, exactly, are you smoking?

          • Calcat36

Thanksgiving? Not religious? You were indoctrinated in a pubic screwel sewer, right?

Thanksgiving Proclamation Issued by President George Washington, at the request of Congress, on October 3, 1789. By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and—Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me “to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:”

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favor, able interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquillity, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful
knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other trangressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National
Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with
good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.
Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.
            Go. Washington

          • Orson Buggeigh

What “religion” is being referenced by the proclamation? That proclamation was for a single celebration in 1789. The idea of a national holiday doesn’t come until 1863–fellow by the name of Lincoln, again without a particular religion in mind, just the spirit of giving thanks.

          • Calcat36

Thanks to whom, and for what? And professor, what was the religion of the time? Hint: Not Secualr Humanism, NOT atheism, not isslam, not buddah…

As if the post just below here didn’t slap you silly enough!

            Keep trying socialist agitator.

          • Orson Buggeigh

Sugarplum… it was a proclamation of thankfulness to and through God, not to and through any religion. Quit adding your hateful wishful thinking. It was for all to recognize something to be thankful for, not for all to find a reason to hate.

          • Calcat36

What is the belief in God called? Maybe you forgot, or were indoctrinated to think that this Country was NOT founded on Judeo-Christan beliefs? No matter how much BS you socialists come up with, the TRUTH and HISTORY are not subject to revision. I am not your sugarplum, you socialist agitator.

          • Orson Buggeigh

History has been revised for centuries. Silly boy, you need a bigger cave.

          • Calcat36

Silly bitch, only turds like you attempt rewrite history in order to fit your socialist agenda. You need a bigger beach full of sand to bury your fat, empty skull in. I notice you failed to answer what belief in God is called. No talking point on that yet, arsehat? Dodge and duck, agitator. Get in touch with Martin Bashir. He can help you out.

          • robert anthony

You’re wrestling with a pig, my friend. Orson is a waste of time. His stench wafted through from his first post. Idiot doesn’t even know Easter is a religious holiday..thinks the birth of Christ is about him sucking Obama’s d**k.

          • Calcat36

Yeah, I got that already. Notice the lack of replies since the warrior for ozero deflects when smacked with facts! The beeotch just doesn’t know when to DIE!

          • robert anthony

Christianity being an integral part of this society is why you’re permitted to be the level of idiot you are…freely…without losing your head. Yeah, you’re welcome.

          • robert anthony

LOL!!! Yes, how would us ignorant Americans ever know of French films, Mexican tacos, the fascism of islam, Japanese art…unless for Obama’s ascension in 2008?? Are you f**king serious!!? You’re a joke! I feel bad that anyone could be this insane. I really do…I pity you.

        • robert anthony

Actually, Obama’s not in tune with the Season, giving that every speech he’s made so far on the meaning of Christmas is about ‘a day of service to government’.

          • Orson Buggeigh

and the idea that we should in any way, form, or fashion be grateful for our country (created/maintained by that government)… like, you know, maybe giving back with a day of voluntary service is just abhorrent to you, right? You’re wrong about his speeches, but don’t let facts get in your way. It is an interesting thread amongst Obama haters that you are so damned against helping others–screw the rest, just so you get yours. Merry Christmas indeed.

          • robert anthony

Charity stems from the heart, not the dictates of government, genius. Charity and service are to citizens and neighbors, not the State. They get enough of our ‘charity’ from January to May each year. They work for us…maybe if they actually remember that sometimes they’d garner more respect..’consent of the governed’ remember? Not ‘what can I do for you, Obama?’. You confuse charity and altruism to brothers and sisters with service and labor to the ‘system’. Wise up.
You, and Obama, wanna piss and moan, as usual, that some average American waitress or laborer isn’t ‘giving enough’ while giving a pass to the Pelosi’s and Obama’s, milionaires, who give back nothing but ‘orders for what the peasants should sacrifice’. I don’t need lectures on ‘giving’ from a millionaire who leaves his Aunt wallowing in public housing, jack-a*s.

          • robert anthony

Yes, I’m just so greedy and uncharitable opposing Obama giving 1.4 billion dollars to Christian-killing fundamentalist islamists…how crazy!
My Church collects money and gifts for the poor in the Appalachians every year, for one example, what has Planned Parenthood done lately? Oh yeah, millions for Obama’s re-election. I wonder how many could have been fed with the money Pelosi spent flying back and forth, flying illegals to Washington and inviting Sandra Fluke to demand the ‘charity’ of free condoms. Liberal voter at Town Hall quote, “This elections about ME!!!”. Keep talking.

          • robert anthony

No answers from you, genius? Thought so…maybe, remind me what the birth of the Saviour has to do with ‘giving back’ to government, damn’d fool!

          • Orson Buggeigh

robert — I think, you can check me on this, that the tenet of serving is an old idea, maybe as far back as Christ. You probably have a very narrow range of giving, i.e., you only give to someone who will give in return. There is no intrinsic reward for you, only material gain is of interest. You will help no one unless there is visible reward, right?

          • robert anthony

That’s your argument?… to cast dispersions on someone you don’t know? To ignore everything I just said?…What am I getting back from the poor in Appalachia, genius? Tell me. The celebration of the birth of Christ is not about ‘service to government’, you idiot. The fact that I have to waste time throwing pearls at swine, expressing common-sense, that anyone with half- a-brain would realize, besides you. is a pathetic testament to the demented and retarded nature of liberalism and why we can’t share a Country. You people are phenomenally stupid. There is no reference to ‘serve government’ when Obama bows and acknowledges islamic holidays…why is that? You know nothing about me, sh*thead, you base your slander and assumptions on regurgitated talking points because you”re unable to think for yourself. I’ll tell you one thing about me, you stupid jack-a**, if I was a millionaire President, my Aunt wouldn’t be living off welfare in NY City. What have you done besides attack fellow citizens and cast accusations on total strangers, while excusing the corruption, malfeasance, and hypocrisy of your ‘leaders’? Oh, wait, I know…Obama ‘distributes your charity for you’…f**kin pathetic. Suck on that for awhile. I can’t believe a whole half of this Country is as stupid as the likes of you, That’s friggin’ depressing.

          • Orson Buggeigh

And the other half is as mean-spirited, hate filled, and ignorant as you? Can you really not say jackass here?
edit: Apparently I can… you, sir or madam, are a horse’s ass. Merry Christmas.

          • robert anthony

Sorry..it is you who are hate-filled, mean-spirited and ignorant. If the Nation relied on the ‘charity’ of liberals, we should all starve…but we’d have ‘free condoms’, wouldn’t we? To think you dare to assume I don’t give unless I expect something in return, but you call me ‘mean-spirited’? What did I get for my tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood?..the Obama campaign chest? What did we get from billions to the muslim brotherhood, while Obama cut funding completely to an organization that rescues trafficked child prostitutes in the US? .I barely have enough dimes to scrape together for my own family for Christmas and you dare to toss stereotypical MSNBC talking points against my character…as if I ‘want’ something from the poor…I AM the poor, you moron. YOU dare to slander my character, sight unseen? you..who have displayed naught but galactic ignorance and stupidity. If you were here,I’d show you ‘mean’ and knock your arrogant, proudly ignorant block off. So, I ask again…what does the birth of the Saviour have to do with servitude to wealthy, corrupted, elitist government? Why does millionaire Obama leave his Aunt wallowing in poverty? What have you given? Answer the questions..or don’t come back. In fact, try addressing any point without falling back on MSNBC false arguments and characterization, slander or worship of the almighty State.

          • robert anthony

Translation; you have no answers. Bye!

JACKASS, Christ did not use the Roman Government or the Sanhedrin religious fools to DICTATE SERVICE! Jesus asked those who wish to follow Him to give up their Earthly possessions of their own free will and join His realm of self sacrifice.

Have you donated all of your meager possessions to your almighty governmental god? Or do you only give with the expectation of return, professor stupido?

Do you pay taxes in excess of what is expected to your glorious government?

Didn’t think so Al Sharleton! So now you are in a jam, because I am no longer interested in your f*cked up failings about Christianity. Post quotes from Christ to back up your keyboard commando drunken bull shyte.

We Christians are not afraid to throw the flag at idiots like you.

          • Calcat36

The government is not God. The government does not provide our unalienable rights. Many people you do not know give back every Sunday, in Churches across the Nation of their own fee will, not by direction of the dear leader!

Remember when the dear leader shut the government down and one man VOLUNTEERED to keep the Washington memorials clean? What did your dear leader do to that selfless volunteer? He unleashed the jack booted government thugs to threaten him with arrest if he failed to stop. Your argument is nothing but agitation.

Take your BS somewhere else, idiot bitch.

The dim call stupid that which they have no capacity to understand.

    • robert anthony

Meanwhile, leftist twit writing at Salon says Santa Claus as ‘white’ is racist and we should make him a penguin to make everybody feel better…so what if it’s censoring a European cultural tradition?, they’re white…(she also writes that a penguin is a mammal and must publish a correction later, because, you know, liberals are Science!). Nah, no attack on Christmas there.

      • Matthew Greggs

what in the world are you babbling about now half-wit

        • robert anthony

One of your ‘half-wit’ brethren. I understand your confusion..libtard ‘ideas’ baffle me as well. Go see for yourself..before they remove it out of embarrassment..

Actually, you have revealed to us that the woman who wants Santa to be represented as a penguin (while thinking it’s a mammal), is smarter than you.

        • mike connor

Matthew Greggs, you still need to wipe the drool off of your chin. Also, clean your rage induced spittle off of your obama phone.

  • Bacchanalian

If you willfully forget the 8 years of destruction of democratic values not at only home, but abroad that we endured under George W. Bush, you’re hardly worth calling yourself a citizen of the U.S., let alone have any right to spew out your idiocy to the public, “Twitchy.” While we are considering Bush’s “class,” how about a trip down memory to with his grandfather Prescott Bush and his ties to Third Reich companies, even as the U.S. was fighting the Second World War. Oh, but “classy,” eh? Fuck off, Twitchy. A big loud mouth doesn’t make your words true.

    • Calcat36

Please remind me, history professor, about Joe Kennedy Sr and his admiration and support of HITLER during that war. You know, after he became rich from criminal activities.

Should you have forgotten, you do not define freedom of speech nor are you qualified to dictate who is worthy of the title of American. That is by birth, according to the Constitution. You socialist America haters define it as illegally sneaking across the borders.

      • onegoodnathan

absolutely true, in addition Kennedy also played a big part in the orchestrated collapse of the stock market in 1929 as him and his oligarch cronies silently left the market. it’s also a fact that Prescott Bush made a lot of money through his Union Bank ownership by financing Nazi supplying industrialist Fritz Thyssen. he’s also linked to the Consolidated Silesian Steel Company, which used Auschwitz slave labor during the war. Prescott then gave George HW Bush a cut of the profits to head to Texas to start in the oil biz.

        –point is they’re both garbage

        • Calcat36

Joseph Kennedy Sr. was one of the wealthiest men in the United States. In the 1920’s he reportedly made a fortune bootlegging liquor. He made five million producing low budget movies. In 1938 he was appointed U.S. Ambassador to Britain. He was involved in high society, associating with the Royal Family. But Joe Kennedy Sr. had other problems. He had an admiration for Nazi Germany, and advised the U.S. to remain neutral in the growing conflict. He made no secret about his admiration of Germany. As Hitler became more powerful, he announced that he could conquer all of Europe. Britain was feeling the pressure as Dunkirk was evacuated, and London was viciously bombarded. Hitler planned on Britain being the next to fall. Joe Sr. in his opposition to America joining the war had angered Churchill and Roosevelt. Even his two sons opposed their father. In Dec. 1940, he was removed from office and recalled to the U.S. Politically damaged, his admiration for Germany had been his downfall.

FDR and Churchill willfully conspired to get America into WWI just as Wilson did for WWI with the Lusitania.

No, I did not gradumicate from a pubic screwel.

          • Guest

wow, you’re real good at copy/paste. since you’re so smart maybe you could head back to the middle east and help the military figure out why they haven’t won a war in 68 years.

    • in_awe

@Bacchanalian – I searched and couldn’t find your outrage on line about the terrorist and murderer Nelson Mandela. You know, the guy people will soon want to name elementary schools after – the guy people are comparing to Washington, Gandhi and MLK. More like Lenin, Hitler in the 30’s, Castro and Che.

      • Calcat36

It is selective outrage and BDS. Both pre-existing conditions subject to free medication. I advise getting the mental help for that dude/ette.

      • Bill Phillips
        • in_awe

Exactly. I detailed his terrorist past in a letter to the editor of our local newspaper after having my fill of people singing Mandela’s praises over the past week. We’ll see if it gets published. The internet is seemingly being sanitized of any references to Mandela’s violent past and the ANC reign of terror and economic destruction. Gotta hand it to the liberals, they know how to rewrite history, then force feed it to the young who will never know what really happened.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”

    • robert anthony

Funny it took Obama to fully implement NSA spying, IRS targeting, and TSA irradiation of citizens, for some examples. Funny you talk of ‘democratic values’ while simultaneously suggesting those who differ from your opinion have no ‘right’ to it…”you’re hardly worth calling yourself a citizen of the U.S., let alone have any right to spew out your idiocy to the public..”. There you go again…deeming yourself ‘arbiter of rights’…Pssstt,..your intrinsic leftist fascism is showing.

Yep. He paved the way for his successor. What GWB did, Obama did bigger. More big bailouts; more drone attacks on ordinary civilians in the middle east; more trashing of our civil liberties. I don’t CARE if he is a good painter – this is the man who said “They hate us for our freedoms” and then proceeded to destroy them.

    • Walter Sobchak

Also, more Federal meddling in education, more socialized medicine, more criminally irresponsible monetary policy, more deficit spending, and more nation-building.

        • Calcat36

Democrat WAR CRIMINALS in their own words:

“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq
the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line.”
–President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

“If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction
          program.”
–President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

“Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face.”
          –Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

“He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983.”
–Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

“[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass
          destruction programs.”
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
          — Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

“Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.”
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

“Hussein has … chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies.”
          — Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

“There is no doubt that … Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of an illicit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies.”
Letter to President Bush, Signed by:
          — Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), and others, Dec 5, 2001

“We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them.”
          — Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

“We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.”
          — Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

“Iraq’s search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power.”
          — Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

          Your point, idiot?

          • onegoodnathan

umm..yaa, I agreed already. they all serve the same power structure. just bc I’m critical of Ted Bundy it doesn’t mean I think Charlie Manson is innocent. realize you are in a brainwashed R vs D paradigm. instead of being so belligerent consider who gains from having the majority of people in this country in a political trap.

          • Calcat36

Retard, this is what you posted:

“Saddam has WMD’s and was connected to Al Qaeda. the Iraq war won’t cost taxpayers anything because the oil will pay for it. the Iraq people will welcome us as liberators. mission accomplished!”
            —GW Bush/liar/war criminal–per geneva convention

but GWB is such a swell classy guy, bc he’s an R and can deliver lies in a folksy, aww shucks manner…suckers.

I fail to see where you were being so MODERATE. By the way, moderates suck.

So, like a linguine spined libtard, you come back with this:

umm..yaa, I agreed already. they all serve the same power structure. just bc I’m critical of Ted Bundy it doesn’t mean I think Charlie Manson is innocent. realize you are in a brainwashed R vs D paradigm. instead of being so belligerent consider who gains from having the majority of
people in this country in a political trap.

Idiot, you have no idea who I am, and you go and deflect with manson and bundy? Two completely different cases, neither involving National Security? Are you choomin bro? You failed to mention those democrats that supported the killing of soddomy as WAR CRIMINALS in your first rant. You are a biased idiot that got caught. Troll.

FYI idiot, I am for the R v D paradigm. The Republicans killed slavery. Th republicans killed democrat opposition to women’s suffrage. The Republicans will kill ozerocare.

          • onegoodnathan

haha..u don’t know me either dude, but u assumed that citing Dem liars would somehow get me? the Bundy/Manson was an analogy that u clearly missed. Obama and Bush are both war criminals per international law, both parties are raping this country. but continue on in your pathetic defense of the Bushy’s because they have class..ha. hopefully you twitchy people will get Christie or Jeb Bush in next so this site’s collective blood pressure can decrease.

          • Calcat36

Get you? I do not play that libtard game. Because you declare it an analogy does not make it a correct analogy. No, I do not know you. I can only go by what you type. You now fail to add Clinton as a war criminal for killing that innocent dude in the aspirin factory with a Tomahawk to distract from his Lewinsky affair. Now you throw Christie, who is no conservative and Jeb, ditto into the mix. Professor, how about naming the socialist candidate on the left? Your attacks are one sided.

          • onegoodnathan

um, I was critical of Bush because thats who this story was about, thats all. I didn’t know I had to comment on every politician past and present too. I’ll give you a tip, just because a person is critical of international law war criminal Bush it doesn’t mean that person identifies as a leftist, liberal, democrat etc.. I realize it’s a tough concept for people on a site like this to comprehend.

          • Calcat36

This story was not about GWB and GWI or GWII, so keep tap dancing. If you took it all the way backwards, you would have to call the Independence an illegal war, and the revolutionaries terrorists. Therefore America is not a legitimate Country. Do you want to go that far? Which is being taught in pubic screwels today, by the way. Obama and Hillary are in the article/photo as well. You did not rip them for Benghazi, or the illegal air strikes in Libya.

We did not pull out of Iraq immediately after zero was immaculated. Is he a war criminal too? We are still in Afghanistan for no reason. That makes zero a war criminal again, correct? We are supplying arms to moo-slum terrorists who want to kill us. Why are you not demanding investigations?

Yes, if you are going to rant in a biased way, be prepared to experience some push back. A tough concept for community agitators like you to understand. Your rants bring dishonor to the men and women who fought and died in those wars for your stupid little bubble world view.

Dare I ask, which uniform you served in?

          • onegoodnathan

hahaha…holy crap dude. the title of the story ‘what did GWB do aboard air force one’. wars are fought on behalf of corporate and banking interests and the taxpayer gets stuck with the bill. checkout Kissinger’s quote on soldiers. good luck on waking up someday to the system that enslaves us.

          • Calcat36

‘This photo has improved my morning!’ What did George W. Bush do aboard Air Force One? [pics]

You are drawing a connection where none exists, unless a painting shows GWI or GWII.

Again, notice your deflection on questions posed. So, you agree that America is illegitimate and you never served in uniform.

Your opinion smells like your stanky brown eye. And carries as much weight. Check out Nathan Hale’s last words, idiot. Time you move to the socialist country of your choice, America-hating fool.

          • robert anthony

            Um..it wasn’t a bank or corporation that murdered 3,000 on Sept 11th.

          • onegoodnathan

maybe not. but they sure have done well financing and contracting since 9/11–while the people lose freedom, liberty, and pay for the wars.

          • onegoodnathan

I agree with you about Clinton by the way. I think the greatest disservice he did to this country was selling military secrets and tech to the chinese. then when the press started asking about it he started an illegal war in kosovo as a distraction–treasonous.

          • robert anthony

I can at least give you credit for cutting criticism across the board…including recognizing Obama’s disregard for the Bill of Rights…many people brought out by Bush or Palin threads write hagiographies for Demorats. You’re not one of them.

          • onegoodnathan

ty for a sensible comment. I just find it fascinating that people can be so kind towards liar Bush and so venomous towards the lying psycho Obama. I wonder if we will ever realize that these power elites are just playing a game of divide and conquer with us.

          • Corey Dennison

            Yeah…his stupidity is bi-partisan.

Of course they’re “Relativists” and Relativism rejects the very idea of “Truth”, which by default makes the whole cult: DELUSIONAL!

      • onegoodnathan

what is delusional? Bush is on record saying those things? you don’t think he was lying or at the very least grossly negligent with his comments? those lies cost hundreds of thousands of lives and the taxpayer trillions of dollars, and everyone’s on here praising his class? –that’s delusional.

        • Allan Hamilton

Hey nate, ANSWER THE WOMAN! you ball-less meat sack.

        • Michelle ✓classified

Where is that quote from? You credit it’s source as “per geneva convention,” but the Geneva Conventions are documented International law, treaties…not a gathering. So how could he have possibly said that statement at the “geneva convention”?

          • spaceycakes

            LOL–typical troll behavior

the only way they’ll answer a woman is with misogynistic/chauvinistic/patronizing response

see: all trolls responses to me

            hahahahaha

          • onegoodnathan

I was unclear. the geneva convention was meant to identify the standard by which GWB is a war criminal not a location of quotes delivered. GWB is a war criminal per geneva convention, the UN charter, and international law bc of the torture, war of aggression invading countries, and using white phosphorus and depleted uranium in Basra and Fallujah.

As for the quotes, I found GWB saying that Iraq had WMD, ties to Al Qaeda, and that US soldiers would be treated as liberators in Iraq. I found Wolfowitz and Cheney(on meet the press) talking about oil paying for the war and reconstruction.

I realize I wasn’t precise in attributing each quote. but I think we can agree that those statements were the position of the Bush admin as they at the very least mislead the American people into a terrible decision—but not terrible for crony banks and the military-industrial complex of course.

–and yes, Obama is guilty of the same type of criminal activity. this farce of a 2 party system protects each other just like any good crime syndicate would.

          • John Rebori

In other words, you faked the quote.

            Got it,

          • Michelle ✓classified

Thank you for the clarification. Yes, the way you formatted your comment it appeared you were source the quote as something he said at the “geneva convention.” And also yes, the way you merged several statements into one made it appear as though you were claiming he made that exact statement. I now understand what you were trying to convey. I don’t agree with you on most of your points. Particularly since you referenced more than one war, I assume you are including Afghanistan? That was not an illegal war at all or by any definition. al Qaeda attacked our country and killed approx. 3,000 people (including my cousin). al Qaeda’s base was located in Afghanistan and they were being protected by the Taliban – our war there was in response to an attack. Bush didn’t start that war, al Qaeda did and the Taliban got themselves and Afghanistan involved by providing a home for and aiding and abetting murders. The war in Iraq will always be open for debate. If folks want to call Bush a war criminal, lump Clinton in there too – after all, he’s is the on who signed into law the authorization for the US to use military action to remove Hussein from his rule. You can also include Congressional Democrats as war criminals. From 2006 when they had control of Congress up through the middle of Barry’s first term , it was completely and totally within their power to end that war by refusing to fund it. Indeed, Dems got control of Congress in 2006 on the promise that if elected, they would end the wars. And they never did. But yes, let’s blame it all on Bush when in reality what went on with Iraq never, ever could have gone on as long as it did without the approval of the Democrats.

    • Michelle ✓classified

I’m having trouble finding that quote by Bush and I’m pretty skilled at searches. Since you put it in quotes, that indicates those were his exact words and yet, I can’t find the statement anywhere. Would you please provide the source of that quote, from a reputable source? I’d like to know where and when he said that. Using “per geneva convention (sic)” doesn’t fly.

      • Calcat36

That Geneva Convention comment was the dead give away that the troll has no idea what the heck the troll is typing. I know what the Geneva Convention is, and to what class I was under according to my rank. I also have some pretty good information and facts that the enemy does not adhere to the Geneva Conventions when US Servicemen/women are captured and the left says NOTHING. Yet they cry day in and day out about Gitmo.

To know what a war criminal is, one must have seen the face of war and all of the ugliness it reflects. Read the posts and notice how the troll tap dances. And I was being polite. The most offensive being that of the War for Independence challenge that the troll refused to reply to.

        • Michelle ✓classified

Oh he definitely doesn’t understand what he’s saying. Apparently he thinks the Geneva Conventions are an actually gathering of leaders. The Geneva Conventions, as you already know, are treaties…agreements on paper, International law adhered to by the countries whose leader’s signed them. So I’m not sure why he thinks W.Bush made a statement “per geneva convention (sic)” It’s kind of impossible to make a statement at a document. I tried to find where Bush made that statement anyway, can’t find it. This is how the Left #MakesSh*tUp

          • Calcat36

He is “moderate.” We are all sheep caught in the republican vs democrat big politics lie…

When challenged with the republican history and the democrat history, the lamb went silent.

There are also some countries that have signed the declaration, yet fail to abide by it, such as Iraq did with our POWs and MIA/KIA. Libtards constantly accuse the US of not complying, as the enemy hangs burned American corpses from bridges and beheads non-combatants with dull and rusty knives.

I doubt that the idiot knows who Michael Scott Speicher was and what happened to him. Good to meet you Michelle. Keep the faith! Semper Fi.

          • Michelle ✓classified

I have understood all along that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were especially difficult and deadly because our troops were playing by the rules of the Geneva Conventions to fight an enemy who did not and instead played by their own barbaric rules. Had the US troops not been constrained by the rules of the Geneva Conventions, there would have been a much swifter and harsher (_)_) kicking over there and both wars would have ended much sooner. Thank you for your service to our country, simple folks like me are deeply grateful for folks like you.

          • Calcat36

Geneva aside. The deadliest weapon employed against the US serviceman/woman are the American Rules Of Engagement. ROE. I enlisted under Reagan and was taught to kill people and break things until we could dictate the terms of surrender. Marines learned from Vietnam that politicians are the worst enemy. Now human shields are employed and Marines die from sniper fire from mosks (yeah, I will not give it proper spelling) where we are not allowed to level that enemy stronghold. All while liberal retards cry for the enemy, still. Before I digress, you need not thank me. You are far from simple having read your challenges to a libtard. Americans like you make the sacrifice worth the effort.

          • Michelle ✓classified

I gave some serious thought to enlisting when I graduated high school in 1985 under Reagan. Even went and spoke with a recruiter. My mom pleaded with and begged me not to do it – she equates joining the service with being killed since our family had experienced that in the past. She was distraught over the idea of me enlisting, so I went to college instead. Kicking myself in the (_)_) now, I really would have liked to serve back then, but I couldn’t break my mom’s heart. She also had a bit of a meltdown over a career choice I made after college, but I did what I wanted to do and told her to put her Big Girl Pants on. *snort*

          • Calcat36

You didn’t miss anything! And that was the typical response from Vietnam war era parents. I will not go into it any more here because of the trolls.

    DIVORCE AGREEMENT
    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, regressive, Marxists, and Obama supporters, ect

We have stuck together since the late 1950s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

    1. Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by land mass, each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy. Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides had such distinct and disparate tastes.

    2. We don’t like redistributive taxes, so you can keep them.

    3. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

    4. Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military.

    5. We’ll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar, and bio-diesel.

    6. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O’Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

    7. We’ll keep capitalism, corporations, pharmaceutical companies, and Wall Street.

    8. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless homeboys, hippies, druggies, and illegal aliens.

    9. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO’s and rednecks.

    10. We’ll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

    11. You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.

    12. You can have the peace-niks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.

    13. We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values.

    14. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness, and Shirley McLain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.

    15. We’ll keep the SUV’s, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

    16. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors..

    17. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is an earned luxury and not a right.

    18. We’ll keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The National Anthem.”

    19. I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute “Imagine”, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing”, “Kum Ba Ya,” or “We Are the World”.

    20. We’ll practice trickledown economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.

    21. Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our constitution and our flag.

    22. Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I’ll bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

    Sincerely,
    John J. Wall
    Law Student and an American

P.S.: Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin Sheen, Barbara Streisand, and Jane Fonda with you.

Classy President. Losers boo. Even the current one I wouldn’t do that to, sign of disrespect. Any truth to the story that Bush let the ladies go on Air Force one first while Obama pushed his way past?

    This “improved” someone’s morning?

  • scoosdad

What’s with these people who have to throw the acronyms FLOTUS, POTUS, SCOTUS etc. around? Is it too much trouble to write “the First Lady” or “the President” or are you just trying to show off what an uber-cool insider you are for being on a first-initial-only basis with them? Or afraid of using up your 140 characters too soon?

    • SineWaveII

Yes it’s too much trouble. They aren’t worth the bother, next.

I agree that this is the GWB I voted for – he did a lot of poor things while in office, which I believe had a lot to do with Cheney and the Republican Old Guard… but as Gov of Texas, he was a much more enjoyable person. I wish he could have maintained that in the White House.

      • Matthew Greggs

correct half-wit….bush only doubled the national debt in 8 years….its was the senile saint of repuke stupid….Ronnie rayguns Reagan that tripled the national debt in 8 years

        • mike connor

Aww. Look at mentally diminishing Matthew Gregg provide more insults than substance in his reply! What a LOSER! HA! What little substance he does supply is a bunch of crap he made up and claims that to be fact. What a loser! BAHAHA!

          • Matthew Greggs

and the half-wit aids ravished homosexual stalker says……..

          • mike connor

Oh no! Matthew is showing his extensive skills with internet commenting by calling someone a half-wit again!

          • Matthew Greggs

still obsessed with the fluffing and teabagging of the male private parts even as the aids virus destroys your mind and make you even dumber than the typical repuke

        • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

Obviously another nitwit liberal like Obama who doesn’t know the difference between an Annual Budget Deficit and The Federal Debt (read my word “deficits”). Obama’s budget **deficits** have averaged 2.7X higher than Bush’s highest deficit ever (in FY08). Do the math at http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/historicals

WRT change in the Federal Debt, Bush’s was 1.4X in 8 years (BJ Clinton’s was 1.4X too). Obama’s is 1.6X and skyrocketing in only 5 years (Bush added $2.3T in all 8 years, while Obama has added $6.6T in just 5 years or 3.5X more than Reagan — heII, Reagan adding his $1.9T sounds great now!!!). Do the math at http://www.treasurydirect.gov/NP/debt/current

          • Matthew Greggs

you really are stupid aren’t you…….the debt tripled under Reagan and it doubled under bush….you can’t change those facts with stupidity or repuke math

          • mike connor

Aww, Matthew Greggs, the ever vigilant Obama Fluffer makes yet ANOTHER attempt at trying not to come across as a moron! And again, he fails miserably! Keep cracking us up, you are doing to fine job at it!

          • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

You’re the dumbazz that didn’t read what I wrote. I never disputed Reagan’s 2.9X debt increase, and I even let you round Clinton’s and Bush’s 1.4X numbers up to 2X (you ever take a math class?). What’s actually important to intelligent people today is that Obama has doubled the debt in less than 5 years (using your math rules)!!! And as I said, Obama has already increased the debt 3 1/2 times more than Reagan and Bush ever did. Talk about stupid….

          • Matthew Greggs

bush’s number is much closer to 2 than 1.4 and much of the debt Obama is saddled with results from trying to clean up after the failed bush regime and restore the economy from the second great republican depression…
heres a question for you half-wit…has the debt doubled under Obama or has it not???….don’t twist and spin reality half-wit but answer the question if you have the brains and integrity

          • mike connor

Look at Matthew make stuff up to show his idol Obama in a positive light and then insult people who disagree with him!

          • Matthew Greggs

and the deficits are decreasing at a rate sharper than anytime since the end of WWII

          • mike connor

Awww, look at the simpleton Matthew Greggs flex his limited mental capacity by making generalizations and making crap up! Matthew, you certainly are an entertaining little Obama Fluffer!

          • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

What a freakin idiot lemming. Haven’t Obama’s lies taught you not to regurgitate his propaganda? You want to add the other usual lie that Obama “cut the deficits in half since he took office?” Here are the deficit numbers, nitwit:
            FY10 -$1.294T
            FY11 -$1.300T
            FY12 -$1.087T
            FY13 -$0.973T (est.)
So what’s that fantastic rate? And you don’t even want me to add the $840B that Obama flushed down the toilet in the FY09 -$1.412T deficit number before he even submitted a budget…

          • Matthew Greggs

are you not smart enough to see that the numbers are getting smaller half-wit???
hey half-wit….why don’t you post the number on the debt too….show us Reagan in and Reagan out….bush in and bush out….then show use the debt under Obama…….you are a bigger idiot than I think if you wont admit that half the Obama debt is a direct result of bush giving us the second great republican depression……although i’m betting you are the bigger idiot

          • mike connor

HAHA! Roto posts facts. Matthew gets confused, then he insults Roto! You have lost it Matthew!

          • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

BWAAHAAhaaahaaahaaaaaa!!! Typical loudmouth Moonbat. Get your azz kicked and then whine, “Duuuhhh, it’s Bush’s fault!! Post the numbers!!”

I GAVE YOU the deficit and debt links in my first post!! Where the heII did you get your numbers from??? Come on loudmouth, post that fantastic rate you had since WWII !!! Since you don’t have a freakin clue what you’re talking about, I’ll give you a hint — you have to tie the rate to GDP in order to regurgitate Obama’s lie.

I know you cannot handle that, because your toddler level rage shows that you are mentally breaking apart at the seems…and your demise us utterly entertaining!

and the half-witted homosexual stalker in the last stages of the AIDS from his earlier days behind the camera working the gay porn industries and seeing to it the actors were always ready to perform is still obsessed with the fluffing and teabagging parts of his former duties……a man that truly enjoyed his work with a passion the human poodle now says………

By Obama’s definition, there were over 1,000,000 tons of WMDs in Iraq. And Obama has killed TWICE as many of our troops in Afghanistan in 4 years as Bush did in all 8 of his years.

Barack “I’m good at killing people” Obama just killed 14 innocent people (injured 22, 9 critically) at a wedding with one of his Kill List drone strikes (5X more strikes than Bush). http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/12/world/meast/yemen-u-s-drone-wedding/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

You can say what you want about this man as president, but he is classy beyond belief. He’s surrounded by people who mock/mocked him relentlessly. They’d throw him under the bus right there if they had gotten the chance. A lesser man would have refused to be anywhere near these people, but George W. Bush? He greets them, smiles with them, shares what he treasures with them. Class act all around!

    • Roto ✓Intentionally Left Blank

Obama thinks a pressure-cooker IED is a WMD. So by his definition, Iraq had over 1,000,000 tons of WMDs.
