The White House Twitter feed was up to some lie-pushing antics Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Sigh. You do realize that no one believes the bald-faced lies anymore, right? Citizens gave the White House the business:

Yep. Purposeful lies.

The ludicrous photo that was tweeted is a proven lie. But, did the White House actually inadvertently admit the truth in the tweet itself?

Bingo. Is it any surprise his poll numbers are plummeting? No one likes a president whose pants are on fire while he sneers in contempt at those who are hurting.

Dear President Pants on Fire, meet Americans who have one question: ‘I like my plan, why can’t I keep it?’

you got it. these people touting his sliding poll numbers, etc.. it does not matter one bit. he doesn’t care. the redistribution of wealth from whites to blacks is well on its way, the diminishing of the white, working middle class is happening.. America has lost much prestige, internationally. etc., etc.

      • Smokey

I have three people that are so wrapped up in this that they were telling me last night that the Insurance companies are doing this on purpose to undermine the Obamacare. The reason for the site problems is that the republicans are hacking into the site to prevent Americans from getting insurance – and these are senior professional people and two work in the medical field. I gave up trying to explain the hypocrisy – they do not care and neither does the public and as far as the story about Obama being a bully, that was evident and publicized in 07 – 08 and no one cared ……….

        • forgetyoutooo

This is only the beginning. Watching and listening to Dem talking heads…they are worried. Their snarkiness has been replaced with seriousness or a very odd attempt to laugh their way through an interview.

          • Vickie DHaene

Very bizzare interview on Kelly File last night. Drunk or Insane?

        • RICK

          • Smokey

I am an independent and I love the discussions from ALL sides – from the ridiculous and the insane to the spot on regardless of their affiliations – resolving any debacle is to first understand their is a problem and then discuss all the alternatives from inside and outside the box if you ever want to be able to fix it ……..

          • 1389AD

Besides that – it’ll continue to fail, no matter who they try to blame it on.

        • 364NKL

You should say to these same people, “If the Republicans can hack into this website, anyone can and our identities will be stolen by criminals”. How is THIS a good thing?

          • Smokey

From past experiences with executives is unless it affects them personally in the pocket or their perception of how they project themselves to the public they could care less. Only two things are important to this group of people – ego and money – anything else is your problem …………… and they WILL survive because they capitalize on the ego’s of others as well as the apathy of those around them

        • SturJen

You know what’s going to be fun? When your Senior Professionals get hurt in some minor way, end up in the hospital and under the new ‘Detroit Care Pathway’ end up being denied water or food because some panel of experts has decided they are not worth keeping alive.
So instead of getting great care, they are shuttled to the same dingy closet and plopped next to those babies who are left to die if they survive an abortion. It’s going to get real crowded in there.

        • Linda Dye

So the website is so full of security holes that Republicans are all up in there? If so, then maybe Barack Obama should not have used taxpayer funds to hire his wife’s college roommate’s corrupt and incompetent company in order to launder money for his own purposes and those of the Democratic Party. It was a no-bid contract, and they turned around and GAVE IT BACK for his campaign. Money laundering. Chicago mob-style. It is bee-yoo-tee-ful. (NOT.) I was a Ron Paul supporter, by the way, and I do not believe Republicans are to blame for this. They tried to get him to stall the opening act, and he actually had the chance to save face and not shut down the government. Amazing ego trumped welfare of the American citizens once again, as well as wanting to say the Republicans did it, and point the finger, which he does so well. I wish Dr. Carson, or Charles Krauthammer, or Ron Paul would run next time, but I know we will get Hillary, whose falling down head-bashing days saved her from Benghazi questions long enough to distance herself.

Just last year he greatly expanded the list of offenses, and broadened the definitions for the use of armed drones against US citizens outside, but more importantly, inside the US.

        • squeeze127

Why do you think he fired all those Generals and Admirals? Why order all those hollow point ammo that aren’t for target practice? Why do you think the U.N. is doing practicing riot control in all those U.S. cities? Can a five year old connect the dots???

          • Bonicushead

I wasn’t aware of the UN practicing anything anywhere in the U.S., despite the probable comparison to a 5yr old (unnecessary in that I was adding to another’s point, not breaking new info), do you know what cities they’re in? Nothing wrong with watching the festivities, though I guess watching men who are destined to die is sorta macabre…but it’s Halloween, and they are training against us…so F them in the neck, I’ll go check out some dead men walking.
And dead men they most certainly are. What Egypt’s military did in stopping a coupe by an elected president gone rogue, is nothing compared to what our military will do. Our 100% voluntary military is made up of corn fed, God and country, type A personalities so entrenched in patriotism that they do unthinkable things like…volunteer for service during two wars…routinely disobey orders to protect their own…expose themselves to enemy fire to retrieve a piece of cloth, because this cloth is our flag…take jobs as cops and firemen after discharge…because that’s who they are. Foil hats and liberals share only one thing in common, both underestimate the length these people are willing to go to for their countrymen. These people run towards gunfire for strangers, and even highly disciplined super soldiers like SEALS disobey orders to protect. Have any foil hatters or liberals even met a soldier? Do they think for a second an Egyptian will fight harder than our soldiers for their flags? It doesn’t matter what generals they replace, the result is the same. The greatest evidence of this, is UN training to do what our military won’t, or they wouldn’t be training them. At least they’ll die better trained than they lived. Our military is made from our neighbors. But the NSA, FBI, Secret Service, etc see themselves as not being part of us. I have no doubt they’ll follow orders to shoot.

I respectfully slightly disagree, Suzqpie. Obamacare is the name that will stick and we should never let the Dems and the Media forget their shameful behavior because of this man. Actually, to set the record straight, Pauline Kael , the movie critic, was the one who said it, and her point wasn’t so much, how could Nixon have been elected at all, as that, why was it that he won so resoundingly, voted for by everyone else in the country except for the sort of people she came into contact with all the time; more of an “I’ve got to get out more often” lament, as opposed to a “No! I can’t- I WON’T– believe it! Say it isn’t so!” sort of shriek.

When they stopped making Doritos Locos Tacos, everyone who used to eat them died of starvation, right?

      • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

That argument is as stupid as one about the fish riding a bicycle. Blindly throwing darts is not having a point. But to actually address your nonsense, they stopped making Doritos Locos Tacos precisely because people were not eating them. They did not eliminate these insurance policies because the customers were not buying them. It’s called a free market; you should research it.

        • bupalos

I don’t know the argument about fish and bicycles, but the point of this one is that a lot of people are equating not having exactly the same plan available with “losing your insurance” or the 47mm uninsured. That’s as dumb as acting like people lost their source of food when a particular flavor chips goes out. The vast majority of people never ate those particular chips anyway, and most of the ones who did will be getting something better to replace it.

Healthcare is a naturally distorted market for all kinds of reasons. Unless you favor letting people short on cash die, you don’t favor a free market here either.

          • Stephen L. Hall #NonquamTrump

It is not dumb when your policy is cancelled by government mandates which double the costs and the deductibles. To use your analogy, it would be like forcing Taco Bell to discontinue tacos but replacing them with meatless tacos raising the price to $2.50 each while insisting that the taco you wanted was substandard and bad for you.

As for your assertion that Healthcare was previously a distorted market, you are correct, but the solution is never to distort the market further. Unless you favor letting people short on political connections die you don’t favor more government regulation here either.

And, yes, I do favor a free market here, having studied economics extensively.

    President Lied, Media Credibility Died
On Monday evening, NBC News reported that President Obama wasn’t just wrong, he was willfully lying when he said that if Americans liked their insurance plans, they could keep them under Obamacare. “(T)he administration knew that more than 40 to 67 percent of those in the individual market would not be able to keep their plans, even if they liked them,” NBC News reported. To clarify, that’s some 7 to 11 million Americans.

But just as importantly, the Obama-defending media knew all of this years before the 2012 election … and they downplayed it or ignored it altogether.

In June 2012, PolitiFact, a supposed nonpartisan fact-checking site, said that Obama’s “if you like your health plan, you can keep it” language was “half-true.” The media routinely ignored President Obama’s provably false promise.

  • bupalos

I think when you talk about “losing your healthcare plan” that kind of implies you don’t get something as good or better. A lot of plans will be cancelled or altered. The vast majority of people will end up with something as good or better, and no longer be healthslaves to their employers. Quite frankly, untethering health insurance from employment is a good in and of itself, one that should be pursued outside of the other benefits that accrue, one that conservatives always favored before the COMMIE MUSLIM AFRICAN LIAR IN CHIEF actually helped put it through.

Honestly, if you people really cared about this you would bother to make an argument about the actual structure of the law or why the existing system is better or it’s a bad idea to go to larger state and national pools than piddly employer pools. It’s just a bunch of fainting couch hysterics about how oppressed everyone is now that some politician uttered something that isn’t 100% true for 100 percent of the populace but only 97% true for 96% of the populace. Here is my argument. We had a plan we loved. It was a responsible plan. It covered all but TWO of Obamacare’s mandatory items. Our plan did not included drug and alcohol treatment because we do not NEED or want drug and alcohol treatment. Our plan also did not have maternity coverage for my HUSBAND and SON because we did not want or need maternity coverage for my HUSBAND and SON. We even maintained a health savings account to cover the deductible. But because our plan does not cover the two mandatory items it is being canceled. You can be snarky and reduce me to an impersonal percentage, liberals are great at that, but you cannot turn the steaming pile of crap that is Obamacare into gold. These are real peoples lives that are being played with here and we are angry!

The actual structure of the law is bad because it A. causes people to lose their healthcare coverage (the whole point of the law was to insure the uninsured) B. makes young healthy people buy health insurance they don’t need in an economy with rampant unemployment and part time work C. raises premiums for many people

If the goal was to insure millions that were too poor to get insured we should’ve expanded medicaid instead of screwing up everything for everyone else. This is a problem inherent to liberalism

      • Perplexed

I think this proves the goal was not to insure poor people, but that poor uninsured people were used as a prop for this power grab.

        • ObamaFail

That’s all the poor is to Dems, props that can be exploited to trick liberals into thinking that Dems care about the little man. When in reality the rich are the only people thriving in today’s economy, which kind of makes Obama everything the Libs accuse Republicans of.

You do know you’re replying to a “private activity” troll, don’t you? It couldn’t care less what anyone of us think.

        • Perplexed

All the more reason to respond and post the truth over and over again. Look at all the Obama Spin Minions that are out in full force spewing disinformation. We are fighting back and it is working. Even the msm isn’t able to ignore this any longer!

They won’t get anywhere here on Twitchy.

“The vast majority of people will end up with something as good or better, and no longer be healthslaves to their employers.”

Do you get paid to be stupid? First, you have to prove that “as good or better” proposition – simply repeating endlessly what you’re told isn’t good enough. If you accomplish that, then you have to show that the cost is lower. Then you have to show how being restricted to one state is so much better than being restricted to one employer. (That’s right – O-care didn’t fix the fact that you can’t buy health insurance across state lines.) THEN, (not done yet!) You have to explain why being FORCED to buy these products isa good idea. Do you support the use of force when it’s used against you, in service of someone else’s interests?

You’re right about one thing – splitting health insurance from employment is a good idea. Unfortunately, that’s only a part of this idiocy.

  • Howzah123

Obama said everything is cool so everything is cool now guys

    He didn’t lie or something

  • ObamaFail

Turns out in 2010 the Obama admin found out that anywhere up to 97 million people will lose coverage, and once the employer mandate hits that could very well happen.
Turns out Obama claiming that reports of people dropped are “misleading” and “overstated” was (not surprisingly) ANOTHER LIE.

    • Perplexed

I am hoping we start hearing from businesses soon. They delayed the employer mandate to keep it quiet a little longer, but the thing us, many of the paltry insignificant 5% that are getting their private plans canceled and being dismissed by the administration are business owners.

  • DrSamHerman

No more insurance that meets your personal needs. No more coverage that you can afford. No more physician that has cared for you for years. No more care.

  • AcecardZ

If I’m a Catholic, I’m not but play along, and I was very anti-abortion for religious reasons couldn’t I argue that forcing me to pay into bummercare is unconstitutional because my dollars will in effect be used to help women have abortions?

    • WhoMeToo

Yes. Bring suit in a court of law.

    • Perplexed

Sure, start arguing. I’ll slip you some money during your audit and visit you at least twice in your reeducation camp.

  • AcecardZ

If the Republicans are smart they can get a lot of mileage out of the “if you want to keep your current insurance you’ll be able to” lie. The next time a debate pops up and the dumbocrat makes any sort of assertion the Republican say “just like you promised us in the last election with our health coverage right?”….

    • Perplexed

No doubt. The challenge is to find republicans who will not only slam this disaster during election time but actually fight for we the people once they are in office. One of the most disheartening things to me personally has been how much cowering and backing down I have seen from those who Scream the loudest that they are against Obamacare.

      • AcecardZ

I couldn’t agree more. Romney killed bummer in the first debate then in the second debate he wasn’t nearly as aggressive for some reason. At the time it made no sense to me. It still doesn’t make sense to me. Benghazi was fresh and Romney did not take full advantage of the information that was available to attack bummer. It may not have matter but to not even try.. Very sad. :( (all of the voter fraud too. If we can’t force people to show ID when casting ballots it’s only going to get worse and I’m afraid it will force the Republicans to do the same thing come election time.)

        • Perplexed

Obamacare mandates everyone have health insurance which requires everyone to have a photo ID. Therefore Obamacare mandates the same photo ID they have been bemoaning for years. Not sure how they will get past that, but I am sure they will try.

  • AcecardZ

Now here’s a million dollar question if there ever was one. How about all of the people that work for minimum wage in this country but earn tips? Bartenders, waiters and waitresses etc. Their W2’s often represent far less than what they really make so are they going to be able to get subsidized coverage or is their coverage going to be based on what they make combining tips with their W2 wages? I know bartenders making $500 a night in tips, this is no joke, and their actual wages are far greater than what’s reported to the government.

Was it Goebbels who said that if you say the lie enough times, it becomes truth?

  • The_Questman

The REAL scary part is the same People who said you can keep your insurance AND the website will be ready on Oct1 are the same people telling you your information is safe.
