Hmm. Curious, huh? As Twitchy reported, some Democrats joined Sen. Shaheen in calling for an Obamacare delay.

Citizens answered the question posed by Fox News’ Martha MacCallum.

But one word really just sums it all up:

Reality. It’s so hard! It takes Democrats a while to get up to speed, evidently.

Sedition! Some Dems reportedly join Sen. Shaheen in calling for O-care delay

They have to get reelected or they might be forced to go on Obamacare and they cant afford that.

Lost in all of this is that it’s Marco Rubio who apparently thinks it would be a good idea for a horse trade– “Some of you Dems come over on Obamacare, and some of us Repubs come over on immigration…” and for the same reason– elections; not necessarily in 2014, but possibly to take the issue away in 2016 during the down-ticket races in the Presidential election year.

Last week: “Those anarchist Republicans are holding us hostage and putting a gun to our heads by wanting to delay Obamacare.”
This week: “Hey, we should delay Obamacare. I don’t know why anyone didn’t say so earlier.”

  • Marcy Cook

They are so obvious….why don’t the voters see this and get rid of these traitors?

    • Eric D. Mertz #NeverTrump

Because of the vote pump. They keep taking OPM and giving it to their constituents. And as a result, their constituents keep voting for them.

    • walterc

Because the local party establishment types pick who the voters get to choose from. The system is rigged from top to bottom.

It can only change if the Tea Party gets involved at the lowest possible level and convention (the way Utah did with Senator Bennett) or primary the RINOs so the public has a Conservative to pick.

  • Paul C.

Odumbocare is part on the agenda and Odrama will say anything and has to get the law implemented.

  • HeavyMetalPolkaMonkey

Now they have to fight a war on two fronts. Deny their role in shutting down the govt. (and the hilarious theatrics of fencing off public areas, etc.) with the demand CorkyCare be saved (and they exempt from it’s effects), and try to stop states like TX from implementing voter ID laws thus depriving the dead/repeat/non-resident voters of a voice. 2014 is gonna be fun.

  • ahunteranderson

A month ago, they were so strongly opposed to a delay they were willing to shut down the government, and wouldn’t even have a conversation with Republicans about this.

  • jeanie6

In all NH’s years with Shaheen in various roles, this is one of the very few times she has ever shown initiative. She is up for re-election in 2014 and much of our population does not like local fall out from the ACA. Nearly half of our hospitals were dropped by Anthem, our only ACA provider, and folks are not happy. How this will play out I cannot say, but she is running scared.

  • Axelgreaser

THEY SEE THE SPECTER OF THEIR FAT, BILOUS, GREEDY, OVER-PAID BODIES SWINGING FROM THE MID-TERMS HANGIN’ TREE…and they’ll have plenty of Republican RINO’crat company. The Obama Coup must end. The beginning of the end has to be the mid-term elections with people turning out in such force that our already crooked voting system cannot deny the wins.

  • rambler

There is a price to pay for ignoring the will of the people and the Constitution. The dems deserve all that is coming to them. Boot them from office and make they stare into the face of that bill they had to pass. Deprive them of their fancy SC social life and make them be just as pedestrian as the rest of us.

  • Joe

Of course it’s self-preservation — it’s the same with any parasites. Weaken the host almost to death, while fattening oneself. Hell, that may be on a plaque at the DNC somewhere.

  • Vennoye

I was wrong about ObamaCare. I predicted that it would take 18-24 months to become the most hated piece of legislation passed in the history of the US. It hasn’t taken nearly that long for the Democrats to feel the furnace of reality!! Chris, quit thinking about the Temple….start thinking about the Fiery Furnace!!

  • Justme

    REELECTIONS, that sums it up.

  • JustLikeAnimals

The same Dems that rode this Obamacare bomb into the ground can now go home in November 2014 and claim they recognized the problem and delayed the implementation. What a crock of $hit.
