As Twitchy reported, Fox News’ Chris Wallace revealed that he was sent unsolicited oppo research on Sen. Ted Cruz. By “top Republicans.”

Sarah Palin, who recently told GOP senators to “woman up” and stand firm on Obamacare, continues to have Sen. Cruz’s back.

At least someone has a spine. Fight like a girl? You betcha.

Will Chris Wallace reveal the names? Stay tuned.

Exactly! Step up and take credit Karl Marx Rove!

    • Richard Wayne

I don’t see the problem in taking credit for a shutdown if it gives the majority of the people what they want… No Obamacare!

      • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Same here, but I think Rove is the coward sending the dirt to Wallace.

        • Rosalie

It wouldn’t surprise me. We not only have to fight the other side, we have to fight our side. Our side have become enablers. They need the 12 step program.

          • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Step 1: I’m a politician and powerless to stop spending other people’s money, and America has become unmanageable.

        • Elaine

Did someone prove it was Rove? I’m not up on this story yet?

          • Worship Dancer

rove, mccain, graham, christie take your choice of RINOs.

          • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Not that I know of, but Karl does not put grudges aside for party unity.

        • Worship Dancer

i agree. Ted Cruz is not who Rove would pick and since he didn’t pick him he doesn’t want him to become popular. We The People “just might disagree” with rove’s pick. NO ROVE WE DON’T WANT YOUR PICK. WE WANT OURS.

      • Ron Flanders

It’s a tenuous majority. They may not want Obamacare, but not at the expense of another downgrade of our credit or a shutdown of our government.

        • Richard Wayne

We need to make the case that getting a credit extension to pay our bills or we are broke is the definition of deadbeat. We should also be pointing out that each dollar spent by the government is a fraction out of everyone’s paycheck and savings via devaluation. People striking over minimum wage not keeping up with the cost of living? Conservative reply should be to lower the cost of living with actual government budgeting and paying down of our debt. Watch the dollar buy more things then…

          • Ron Flanders

I agree with you 100%. But how do you make that case in 15 seconds or less? BTW, it’s no coincidence that now that fast-food workers are striking, the answer by the special interests is to push harder for amnesty. Mexicans and Central Americans will happily work for $8/hour. The amnesty bill is a favor for the National Restaurant Association and other big industry (meat packers, agriculture, etc.)

          • Richard Wayne

I agree, hard to make an educated economic argument via soundbites. Not impossible though.

In 15 seconds: ‘We want people to be able to buy more with their paychecks and not have them taxed through irresponsible budgeting and debt.’

          • Ron Flanders

Not bad. Sadly, the Chicago machine will come up with something that sounds better to the sheeple.

    • Elaine

Maybe the left is making it up? Wouldn’t be the first time they lie to change public opinion.

      • Chevypowered

True but our side have a knack for stabbing us in the back as well.

        • Elaine

Only the true Rinos and they just may be sealing their fate!

        • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

We keep a circular firing squad on call 24/7.

  • Richard Wayne

‘Fair and Balanced?’ They played a clip of Rand Paul on the potential government shutdown and then had 4 on the panel trashing the idea and spewing the same old, false stuff about it costing republicans in the long run.

It isn’t about the uninsured at this point, it is about everyone’s free choice in what coverage they want.

Why isn’t Mark Levin and Governor Palin on to present their views on Fox News’ shows – Fox continues to bring out the same tired, boring and expected comments from these retreads
The Governor is the #1 Pundit per Mediate Power Grid – put her on not just on Football Sunday and give her time, multiple segments and she needs to be on during prime time, stop with excuses put her on

      • descolada9

Levin is pretty introverted to begin with and we are lucky to get him on television as often as we do.

    • Elaine

The reason no one watches their BS in the first place. All these progressives talk OVER everyone and try to monopolize the conversation!

    • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

On The Five, everyone except Eric Bolling was trashing Cruz’s effort to defund Obamacare. Greg Gutfeld rarely disappoints me but he did on that subject.

  • WhoDat

It’s so great watching the GOP destroy itself from within.

    • FreedomFighter

Its liberalism in the republican party that is being destroyed.

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Is it as pleasing to you as watching the Democrat Party destroy America through the economy, energy policy and immigration?

      • J. Cox

dang…should have scrolled down before I made same reply.

    • Guest

Yeah, it’s much better being lockstep with your leaders. How refreshing to see the GOP employing critical thinking as opposed to all y’all brown shirts.

    • Guest

      Small minds are easily amused.

    • gman213

It’s easier to root out the bad element of the GOP….your party is nothing but bad element.

    • Guest

Yeah, it’s so much more satisfying to be in lockstep for your leaders. How refreshing that some GOP are finally employing critical thinking as opposed to all y’all brown shirts.

    • SandyLester

It is great watching obama being Putins bitch.

      • Billie Slash

        BOOM!

      • Elaine

Yah, the BO has strings attached to Soros, as in ‘PUPPET’ too!

        • Worship Dancer

wait i thought obama was soros’ POOPet 😉

      • Aitch748

I can see Putin’s giant boot print on Obama’s rear end from my house.

      • Pat

Wow. Rooting for Russia. Not good nor patriotic to the USA.

        • http://1389blog.com/ 1389AD

The USA and Russia have exchanged places in recent decades. The USA has become totalitarian and Russia has ended totalitarian rule.

        • SandyLester

ah, What in my post led you to that conclusion? Did you not understand it?

    • J. Cox

As compared to the democrats destroying the Nation from within? You are indeed lost.

      • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

They are a simple book to read. Just 2 or 3 pages and all pictures.

    • Tama

The Dems don’t need to destroy their party. They did it in 2008

    • I_Vote

LMAOOOOOO….. says the party of Weiner, Schumer, Pelosi, Reid and they guy who thinks Guam will tip over….. ad nauseum.
See you at the polls in 2014, chump.

      • Guest

Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, Mark Sanford, David Vitter. Any of those ring a bell?

        • Billie Slash

          Yeah. SO?

        • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

Yep. But we also remember Barack “I’ve been to 57 states” Obama, Joe “Stand Up Chuck” Biden, and Nancy “We have to pass it to see what’s in it” Pelosi.

    • LegalizeShemp

We’ve been hearing that for 40 years, we’re simply trying to get all the Marxist Republicans out of office, similar to our same attitude towards Marxist Democrats.

    • Mike Welborn

and …..It’s so great watching Libard ass clowns like yourself giggle like school girls and try to spell at the same time too.

    • Billie Slash

You’re gravely misreading the situation. We’re trying to kick out the R’s who vote like D’s. The Tea Party will take the GOP more to the right. Be careful what you wish for…….especially in 2016 (no more free rides)

    • Elaine

HAHA Like Democrats who tell the country Obamacare is a train wreck? I call this entire discussion just another “DIVERSION” from all of BO’s FAILURES!

    • Chevypowered

Rather watch them fight to weed out the cowards then willingly walk off a cliff over some BS ideology. Don’t forget your parachute.

    • mainelysteve

And what do you think Obamas’ 40% approval rating is doing for the democrats?

    • cajun_2

Pelosi and Reid destroy their credibility just by opening their mouth. Did you hear Pelosi today?
” Getting your work hours cut to 20 hrs a week gives you a great change to follow your passions!!!..”
Too bad one of those “passions” is trying to feed your kids…R’s can fight on differences about solutions to protect americans. Dems are only interested in more power over YOU.

    • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

Say, figure out who the Democrats are going to run in 2016 yet? Obama can’t run again under the Constitution. Biden is an idiot. Hillary still has Benghazi to deal with.

      That leaves you with…nothing.

  • FreedomFighter

I actually can see light at the end of the tunnel. The enemies in the republican party will be identified.

    • AlmaAlma

      1. John McCain

      • Clete Torres

        2. Lindsey Graham

    • Worship Dancer

they already are and there are STRONG CONSERVATIVE contenders to replace those useless RINOs.

  • http://www.leaguelineup.com/docs DocBarry1

Wallace, unless he said he gave them privacy, has no privilege to get things without assuring that their names will remain anonymous – but these cowards should come forward and stand up for what they are saying – if they can’t resign and go away

  • http://greyenlightenment.com/ (new site) Economics Institute

    cruz chickened out..no shocker there.

    • SandyLester

      huh?

    • thetreyman

      how so?

    • Marvin Nelson

What the eff are you talking about, liberal idiot troll?

    • Elaine

HAHA You people are too cute and so predictable. We are STUCK with OCARE since BO spent his ENTIRE first term shoving down our throats when no one could oppose it. You can’t force voters to LIKE it. We hate it and BO’s policies. We just won’t fall in line with you weak minded followers.

  • Clete Torres

And like a good pav-Rove-ian, Wallace will protect his ‘top source’ and shield him from any repercussions.

  • Michael Hampton

He owes you nothing you pathetic washed up shrew!

    • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

And since you’re commenting on that “pathetic washed up shrew” what does that make you exactly?

      • Michael Hampton

        Intelligent.

        • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

So, let me get this straight. You’re intelligent (allegedly) because you’re commenting about someone you say is “washed up”?

How many best-selling books have YOU written?

  • smorkingapple

Watching you guys follow that buffoon down the toilet is fantastic entertainment. Only bested by watching demographics eat your party alive. Getcha popcorn ready!!!!

    • SandyLester

Please, provide one example of buffoonery? Or do you beleive the Constitution is as you say buffoonish?

      • http://twitter.com/Cody_K/ Cody

Oh yeah… “Leader of the Suicide Caucus.” http://bit.ly/1bnfdTa

Yes..because Krauthammer is not another washington elite..move along failtroll.

        • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

“I have no proof, Sandy. I just like throwing out snide comments.”

There. Fixed it for you. You’re welcome.

    • J. Cox

Speaking of buffoons…how is the economy?how about that 1.8 trillion O-notcare?How about immigration? How about them 23 million un/under employed?Ya..Destroying this country is the buffoonery you love right?

      • stuckinIL4now

        O-notcare–excellent description.

      • Suzyqpie

Pres 0bama can have 0bamaCare or a thriving economy. He can’t have both. To the detriment of our economy and our country, he chooses 0bamaCare. Odd thing about 0bamaCare, it is hurting the people that it was ostensibly designed to “help.”

    • I_Vote

LMAOOOOOO….. says the party of Weiner, Schumer, Pelosi, Reid and they guy who thinks Guam will tip over….. ad nauseum.

      • Suzyqpie

The Guam guy is Hank Johnson. Admiral Robert Willard, recipient of HJohnsons question, deserved an award for his stellar performance. He didn’t crack a smile or fall out of his chair ROFL. He displayed great dignity in the face of congressional idiocy.

    • Mike Welborn

Still trying to get that poster of Weiner unstuck from your ceiling Mr. Wizard?

    • LegalizeShemp

The American people are behind us not you, which spells disaster for you next year. Oh, despite the demographics you’ve produced by breaking our immigration laws, Andy Vidak, a white Republican defeated Leticia Perez in a predominately Hispanic district in CA. Looks like your demographic angle is a lie too.

    • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

By the way, who do the Democrats have to run for President in 2016? Figure that out yet?

  • http://greyenlightenment.com/ (new site) Economics Institute

mike lee wants home owners to pay for welfare precipitants families; another GOP hypocrite that wants to soak the middle class.

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Home owners already pay for welfare leeches. Where have you been the last 60 years?

    • thetreyman

      “precipitants”?

      • Clete Torres

Yeah. He’s yet another child left behind.

    • LegalizeShemp

What Democrat run public school did you flunk out of?

    • LegalizeShemp

You should know all about “soaking the middle class” since you’ve been blocking fracking, which has lowered the average American’s energy bills by $1250 per year. If we’d listened to you Chicken Littles, they’d be getting soaked even more.

    • ernst1776

Must be raining in your neck of the woods Econ.Inst. and the weatherman confused your thoughts.

    • Clete Torres

Precipitation is the formation of a solid in a solution or inside another solid during a chemical reaction or by diffusion in a solid. When the reaction occurs in a liquid solution, the solid formed is called the precipitate. The chemical that causes the solid to form is called the precipitant.

That what you meant? Mike Lee wants home owners to pay for chemicals? I already do – in the form of fertilizer.

  • Michael Hampton

Why? Why would anyone do what this moron says? She is merely trying to capitalize and make money from this by throwing her two cents (literally) into the hat.

    • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

Because you don’t have two cents to throw into the hat?

      • Michael Hampton

I did. I threw my two cents into the hat about her.

        • Thomas, Snarkmaster General

And you get 10 cents in change.

  • Zathras11 @B5

Of course he won’t reveal the names. Doing that would mean no more insider information from those people.

  • JD Olson

I think the names on the list all start with Karl and end with Rove.

Have I said I love Sarah Palin? Yes? OK, just checkin’.

Come out of the shadows and let the voters know who you are.

  • Man Drake

I love it when things become clear. Sen. Cruz is blowing away the fog that has surrounded us since Reagan. God bless you!

Who cares if the government shuts down. We don’t have the money to run it anyhow. And not like they are doing anything in DC.

    Sorry/not sorry.

Well, Peter King and John McCain are probably leading this attack against Cruz – both of them have been trashing Ted Cruz non-stop since he took office – THEY, and all GOP “progressives” fear Ted Cruz most of all.

Fox gets its talking points from the GOP?

    • Exodus2011

      yup

Brit Hume and the rest of the Fox Pundits are the mouthpieces of the GOPe and are desperately trying to counter the influence of the grassroots, who are fighting with Cruz/Lee for DEFUND and have their REPs and Senators on speed dial

LOL .. Brit .. so sad, too bad … the **FIGHT** on it’s own, irrespective of outcome, will produce the desired outcome:

a separation of Senators into 2 clear groups:

      1. The Senators willing to put the welfare of *WE The People* first,
their constituents who for FOUR YEARS have consistently REJECTED this
Obamacare BULLSCHMIDT … Senators willing to put The People first,
BEFORE the ‘party’, before the interests of the CRONIES in the
      Healthcare Lobbyists posse

      and

      2. The Senators who won’t. The Senators who choose to put their ties to CRONIES and LOBBYISTS ahead of *WE The People*

      The good thing is this:

EVERY VOTE THEY EACH MAKE will immediately be transmitted via the new and social media like WILD FIRE

      YEAH
