Bingo! Hume links a Daily Caller article, which calls the poll “farcical“:

The poll is comically biased.  Here is the first question:

There is bipartisan immigration reform
legislation being debated in Washington. The
bill would secure our borders, block employers
from hiring undocumented immigrants, and
make sure that undocumented immigrants
already in the U.S. with no criminal record
register for legal status. If a long list of
requirements is met over more than a decade,
it provides eligibility for a path to citizenship.
Would you support or oppose this proposal?

Good grief! Farcical is putting it kindly.

Other Twitter users have noticed the particularly shameless bias in a recent Public Policy Polling poll on immigration.

Ding, ding, ding! Because looky here!

A Democratic firm indeed.

Public Policy Polling’s latest Obama cheerleading, cry-baby blocking and Rubin slam spark hilarious mockery

  • CO2 Producer

    tl;dl yeah sure whatever

PPP polled seven Congressional districts–three from CA and one each from NV, MN, NY, and CO. Out of 435 total districts. Republicans hold a 33-seat margin.

Even if this poll was accurate for those districts, it’s still irrelevant on a national level.

    • Clete Torres

      PPP: Pretty Pathetic Polling.

7 out of 435 districts polled? Yeah right. Anyone familiar with statistics will tell you that’s not even a valid sample size.

  • RblDiver

There’s bipartisan legislation that’ll actually do all that? …Where? 😛

    • Spinmamma

  • forgetyoutooo

I can’t find one person that thinks providing amnesty is more important than jobs.

  • CO2 Producer

PPP is certain that the bill would do what it says it would.

    PPP must have ADD.

  • Sons of Reagan

So if they are a “Democratic” firm that means they vote for what projects they work on? Idiocy! Call them what they are: Demoncrats! Brit is an old washed up inside the beltway cocktail party RINO get along Bushie numbskull!

Nah Sons…they are a progressive aka democrat nee marxist firm….and you just wish you had a a nano bit of the class, experience, salary and education Brit has…jealousy get’s you nowhere…works only with progs.

  • The Penguin

Passing this could possibly be the death of the GOP. Period

    • V the K

If the GOP passes this, it deserves to die.

  • DrSamHerman

7 districts out of 435? That isn’t even a valid sample.

  • John_LC_Silvoney

I was contacted by the PPP- Kos outfit on the phone a couple of years ago.Just like this illustration,on most of the questions, the only options for responses are ones that support Dem-left positions.
    It was indeed laughable.

A glaring example of the typical push-polls that saturate the media,

    • sharinite

Shhhhh….don’t let PPP know…they think Americans are stupid and easily led…well, they are, but only the Democrap ones!

  • Clete Torres

  • Hiraghm

PPP = Point to Point Protocol. What does Brit have against serial modems and the internet?

  • smartone

  • ZombieDachshund

I actually was contacted and participated in the poll. Rolled my eyes the whole time over the crappy biased questions.

  • Rulz

What is it with liberals and sample sizes?

    • Zane Henry

because they know that size does, in fact, matter.

  • nc

“Are the Republicans prepared to lose all future elections if they block this immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship?” has now replaced the classic question: “When did you stop beating your wife?”

    • sharinite

nc…there will no longer be an America as you know it when Obama and the progs get through with us! Obama does as he pleases as do his 37 czars, DOJ, HHS, HHH…he doesn’t care about our laws…the DOJ ships supporters for Trayvon, protects them with security and Obama spies on each and every letter and number we use for our lives. But, hey, you love him and his minions….right? When things get ugly, you won’t complain will you? You’ll take it on the arse without nary a word..right? You went to public schools where kids are not taught anything but indoctrinated, right?

Hey! Aren’t these the same people that said that the ONLY person that could beat Obama was Romney?

I’m sure they have our best interests at heart… why not listen to their concerns AGAIN!?

  • Scorpion

Even if the R’s do pass any bill, when the next election comes up, what are the odds that the liberal media will remind the new democrats that if it wasn’t for them fighting the Republicans, they would not be legal? So much for gaining the Hispanic vote.
By the way, what’s going to stop the prez from ignoring parts or even the whole bill?
Just like our current deportation policy and the voter intimidation issues in Philadelphia and of course our great health care laws.

  • RK59

Same propaganda used now by both sides. Remember..80% of Americans wanted that gun control bill!!!

  • sharinite

And, that, ladies and gentlemen is the reason kids can’t read, do math or comprehend…the teacher’s unions need dopes to vote for their trash!!

  • Neil Leininger

Change pathway to citizenship to permanent resident, and I would support the bill. I don’t believe people that have openly broken our laws should ever be rewarded. If they want to be a citizen, then follow the laws.

  • Catchance

Shorter PPP: “Evil immigrant-hating Republicans are against this bill. Would you be for or against it?”

  • Kaya Hund

PPP should read Tom Cotton’s (R-Arkansas) editorial in the Wall Street Journal on 7/11/13 — he describes what the bill REALLY does (and doesn’t do) — it’s not at all what the PPP question purports.

  • chetnapier

    Polled 1000 dems . 1500 support obama

  • Dale Russell

PPP: there is a bipartisan bill being debated in Washington that will ensure world peace and end hunger for ever. Are you in favor or opposed? Duh!
