Boom indeed! Governor Jindal’s tweet blasting President Obama for the Obamacare delay has been retweeted over 300 times and counting.

Yes he is. He took President Obama to task on Twitter:

Boom, bam and blam!

Awesome. Keep boom-tweeting, Governor Jindal!

The GOP should be screaming from the rooftops that Obamacare along with the IRS needs to be discarded, but no they are patting themselves on the backs for immigration legislation that will effectively kill them politically for the foreseeable future. Congratulations morons.

I doubt the House is going to pass the criminal worshipping Gang of 8 bill.

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Probably not the Senate Bill as it stands, but I wouldn’t put it past them to pass a watered down version and go to conference and still get amnesty passed.

        • nc

          That’s the plan, Stan.

The thing that fries me is they KNOW we, the base, is on to them, and they’re going to play it out anyway.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

The GOP thinks they can win the hearts of these illegals by passing this legislation so that they won’t need the base anymore to get elected. Never doubt the stupidity of the Republican establishment.

          • Zane Henry

It’s exactly the same as with the Civil Rights Amendment. Who wrote it? The Republicans. Who fought it to the bitter end, for 20 years? The Democrats. Who got the credit for it? Apparently it’s the Democrats. And the Republicans have stood back and taken this nonsense for better than 50 years. It’s insane. And they’re poised to do it all over again with this amnesty crap.

Ben, I drove right past you on Monday. I went out to get a new (used) riding mower I got from EBay, in Benton. 26 hour round trip from southwest Virginia. I don’t make long trips like I used to. Hope you guys get dried out soon. All the farms I saw from I-64 were under water.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Wow, that is a long drive. Yeah, I live about an hour and a half north of Benton and we have had about 8 inches of rain in the past week. It is probably going to be another insurance year.

Where you been Ben…They have been screaming from the rooftops to get rid of both…and no Ben…The immigration bill wont be going anywhere until the borders are secure, that’s been the GOP stance from the onset. Maybe you should stop watching MSNBC.

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

You need to look again, I’m a pissed off conservative not a liberal and I’ve been here the whole damn time. The GOP gave up on repealing O-care and there are only a handful of actual conservatives like Ted Cruz calling for abolishment of the IRS. Border security or not if amnesty passes us conservatives are screwed because we will have around 40-50 million more Democrat voters to contend with and support. Border security has been promised several times and all we have to show for it is 36 miles of a border wall so pardon me if I am not thrilled that they are lobbying for more money to be spent on something that will go nowhere again. On top of all of that we have morons in our own party like Graham, McCain, and Rubio all pushing for it and the destruction of their own party. The GOP does not stand for conservatives anymore.

        • squeeze127

Sarah Palin mentioned leaving the GOP to the RINOs and DIRTs (Democrat In Republican Togs) to start the Freedom Party for Conservatives.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

As enticing as that is the sad reality is that we still need voters that vote based on that ‘R’ behind the name in order to win elections. Change needs to happen within the party and during the primaries, the Tea Party people are a lot more energized than the RINOs and that is our best chance to win. The Tea Party is still in it’s infancy and it needs a chance to grow some more and it grows with each elections.

          • CDUB

Right on Ben!! Rush had a great segment today. Why didn’t the R party embrace the Tea Party, regular people who got involved in 2010 and schellacked the D’s in 2010. Why didn’t they embrace the sheer size of TP, passion and willingness to get involved for the first time in their lives to save our country?

The R establishment passed on embracing millions of us, feet on the ground regular people, small or large $ to spend, with lots of passion, for fear TP type folks are hayseed hicks etc etc with the usual name calling, and would hurt the R brand.

Had TP and regular folks been embraced, how different would things be now.

No, Romney was not ideal, but man, was he the right guy to stop/slowdown the destruction of our country.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Yeah, I just heard that on his podcast as I was mowing just now which oddly was after I said that last comment. Also Romney was still an establishment authoritarian guy and I doubt he would have done much to change the status quo in Washington. He would have definitely been better than Obama but only would have been a band-aid on the problem. Now we have a chance at real change if we play it smart and circle the wagons around one actual conservative candidate.

          • BeautifulAmerica

Why? Because the “Repub” bureaucrats couldn’t get their socialist agenda passes if they accepted the Tea Party.

          • BeautifulAmerica

Ture but I agree with Ben, that’s not the way to go. Too complicated for most people to think about. Why is it OK for her to say it but it’ wasn’t for Ron Paul?

          • squeeze127

Ron Paul is a Libertarian at heart, Palin is a Conservative at heart. Big difference there. I voted for Paul but I didn’t agree with his foreign policy. GOP will go nowhere with Rove and Priebus calling shots, they are the cause of the split in the party! Tea Party candidates will go nowhere in the GOP as it sits now.

The immigration reform is just their attempt at pretending like they have done something correctly, while keeping the negative public opinion quelled with nonsense legislation, which will never even go into effect.

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

I believe that was the original plan, yes, but too many normally level-headed conservatives are buying into this nonsense that it will somehow save the party(namely the almost non-existent Hispanic vote) which the opposite is true. When you see the level of obvious corruption and dishonestly on both parties, you almost wonder how far off are we from some Orwellian novel we really are. Especially when you see blinders most of the general public have to the big picture. I mean do people really think destroying the 2nd amendment at this point in time is just some happy accident. I feel like we may genuinely be getting ready for a civil war. Maybe that’s crazy.

          • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

I think things are painted to be by the media as everyone being progressive and are ready for Big Daddy government to take over. If that were true though then you wouldn’t have seen the backlash you did from both sides about the NSA and drones. I don’t think a lot of Democrats know what they are voting for and things like these scandals wake them up slowly but surely. Distrust in government and the media is at an all-time high. The GOP are led by idiots and Romney was not an ideal candidate so I don’t think we should go by what happened in 2012 but I do think 2014 will be a good gauge on how far gone we are.

There’s no point. It doesn’t matter if the republicans are rightfully fighting for the everyday American because all that translates into according to our lib-run government is “oh, the obstructionist republicans are at it again”. And it doesn’t help that 95% of the news and media outlets are in obummer’s pocket. No matter what republican politicians do to help the public, whether passing new laws or blocking liberal laws, it will ALWAYS be spun as the republicans who are the cause of why we can’t normalize as a nation. f*ck the liberals, they’re the true obstructionists – they demand free speech! Yet attack freedom of speech/expression when conservatives, pro-NRA people, etc express themselves. They demand the right to choose abortion, yet call the 2nd amendment a means to murder people and are trying to abolish our right to choose a gun over “Scissors”. This entire government and all their liberal constituents are seriously f*cked in the head, everything now a days seems to be completely upside down and it makes me sick. Evil is celebrated while good is deemed as bad.

      • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

As I said in a previous comment that is the picture that the media is trying to paint. They prop up the fringe left as if they are the norm. They want us to be discouraged, give up, then shut up. The truth is they are ratcheting things up because they are terrified of us otherwise you wouldn’t have things like today where they push certain parts of Obamacare until after the election. That is not the actions of a party who thinks they can win the 2014 mid-terms. Most people, good people, try to stay away from politics and are not well-informed then they listen to the media that tells them the GOP are evil bast-rds. We MUST keep trying to reach these people. Most have bought into the Obama hype but with everything happening they are starting to wake up slowly. We can’t give up or lose hope otherwise they really have won.

  • ObamaFail

The individual mandate needs to be completely abolished. Repeal the whole damn thing actually. If Democrats think people aren’t still going to hold the individual mandate against them, they are mistaken. As expensive as it’s going to be on people, especially those who have already fallen on hard times, they will be angry enough to hold the Democrats responsible in 2014. I know I sure as hell will.

And postponing the employer mandate isn’t exactly going to help them either. Because 2 months after the elections, it hits employers as well. Meaning that for quite a few months before 2015, employers will be cutting back on employees. And those employees are going to be taking notice of WHO is shoving this crap down our throats and causing economic trouble for all of us.

    • nc

” And those employees are going to be taking notice of WHO is shoving this crap down our throats and causing economic trouble for all of us.”

Never underestimate the GOP’s ability to shoot itself in the foot. This (and the numerous other scandals) should be the focus of the 2014 election.

But as Benghazi and Fast & Furious should have been the focus of Romney’s campaign. And The Won’s total lack of practical experience and his devotion to communism should have been the focus of McCain’s campaign, it’s very possible if not probable that the GOP will again fail to take advantage in order to “take the high road”.

He pretty much opposes O’s other policies. When O had the stimulus package going (shovel-ready jobs) and and several billion dollars were spent to make signs, in LA most project signs showed how many state dollars were being used and the federal funds were usually $0.

      • SkyePuppy

The level of federal spending in various states on those “shovel-ready jobs” appeared to be dependent on who the state went for in the 2008 presidential election. LA: Zip. IL: Gazillions.

Cruz/Jindal 2016 – or the other way around, either one would be fine.

    • Tess in Texas

Marta, BOTH my fellow Texan Senator Ted Cruz and Louisiana’s Governor Bobby Jindal are incredibly OUTSTANDING leaders; HOWEVER…

…Ted CRUZ, Bobby JINDAL and now not-so-popular Marco RUBIO are NOT “NATURAL BORN CITIZENS” and are NOT ELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR OR HOLD THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Regardless of WHERE a Presidential hopeful is born, BOTH PARENTS must have been U.S. CITIZENS AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH to qualify as a “natural born citizen” under our U.S. Constitution. (This is VERY
different from any other category of citizenship, i.e. “native born”, “naturalized” or “citizen by statute”.)

At the time of Ted Cruz’ birth in Calgary, Canada, his American-citizen mother and Cuban-citizen father RESIDED there. Ted Cruz was born a resident of Canada with dual-American/Cuban citizenship. No one with dual citizenship at birth is eligible for the presidency.

…For a tutorial on “natural born citizen” and a comprehensive “study” of Obama visit Beckwith’s and Mario Apuzzo’s websites:

      http://www.theobamafile.com/ObamaNaturalBorn.htm
      http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot.com/2010/12/attorney-mario-apuzzo-natural-born.html

WE NEED TO STOP PROMOTING CONSTITUTIONALLY
INELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS AS POSSIBLE CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT IN 2016!!!!

Presidential elections are NOT popularity contests and should not be treated as such. The Constitutional “natural born citizen” eligibility criteria was put there by our forefathers to protect us from being “presided over” by an individual with potentially dual allegiances. Our abandonment of the “natural born citizen” criteria has resulted in precisely the dire consequences our forefathers foresaw, and “Exhibit A” of those dire consequences currently ILLEGALLY OCCUPIES the Oval Office, has
little or no allegiance to America, and goes by the names Barry Soetoro aka Barack Soebarkah aka Harrison Bounel aka Barack Hussein Obama.

Assuming their respective wives Heidi, Supriya, and Jeanette were themselves American citizens at the time they gave birth, then Cruz, Jindal, and Rubio can take great comfort in knowing that THEIR sons and daughters WILL be eligible to be President of the United States one day.

Ted CRUZ, Bobby JINDAL and now not-so-popular Marco RUBIO are NOT “NATURAL BORN CITIZENS” and are NOT ELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR OR HOLD THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!

Um, this is mostly incorrect. Only Ted Cruz was not born in the US (he was born in Canada). Gov. Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, LA, and Marco Rubio was born in Miami, FL, both of which, last time I checked, were US soil, so Cruz IS ineligible for the Presidency, but Jindal and Rubio are both ELIGIBLE.

        • TocksNedlog

          You’re wrong about Cruz.

          • Stephen Speck

I may be. The source was Wikipedia. Grain of salt to be taken. My apologies.

        • Tess in Texas

Merely being born on U.S. soil does not constitute “natural born citizen” status, as explained in the links included in my original post.

All three of these gentlemen — Cruz, Jindal, and Rubio — were born to non-U.S. citizens. Because BOTH parents were not U.S. citizens at the time of their birth, these gentlemen are NOT “natural born citizens” .

Bobby Jindal and Marco Rubio… http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/12245-are-marco-rubio-and-bobby-jindal-natural-born-citizens

          Bobby Jindal…

Amar and Raj Jindal were only here in the United States a few months prior to the birth of their son Pujib “Bobby” Jindal
in June 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA. According to Mr. Jindal’s press secretary Kyle Plotkin, “both of his parents were permanent legal residents and not naturalized
U.S. citizens at the time of his birth”. So, at the time of his birth, Bobby Jindal’s parents were NOT U.S. citizens; they were Punjab, India citizens enjoying U.S. residency.

          * * * * * * * * * * *

          Marco Rubio…

According to Marco Rubio’s press secretary Alex Burgos, Senator Marco Rubio’s parents “were permanent legal residents of the U.S.” at the time of his birth in 1971, NOT naturalized citizens of the U.S. Rubio’s parents did not become naturalized U.S. citizens until four years later.

Right now, I’m supporting Senator Rand PAUL (R-KY). He is a bright, young 2016 Presidential hopeful who appeals to a very broad base, including independents and libertarians… AND he would not burden voters with Constitutional eligibility issues!

Senator Ted Cruz would make an AWESOME ATTORNEY GENERAL !!!!

Not enforcing the law equally is an impeachable offense. The HOR should send up impeachment to the senate. Get all the donks that voted for cACA to backpedal. The ads would be some kind of awesome.

    Yeah. Splain that Obama!

  • nhbuckeye

Just let ObamaCare do its thing, and Dems will lose elections for the next three decades.

    • Armando

Not the 2014 one, since Obamacare will be delayed to not affect that election.

I know, but the longer game is more important.

how long do u plan to live? The ACA will virtually destroy the greatest medical system the world has ever known. Rebuilding the economy and the medical system will take decades. Be sure you dont get sick in the meantime, there will be no help for you, unless you are part of the ruling class

They only delayed the business mandate, not the individual mandate or anything else. Folks like you and I are still on the hook this October. (Though I wouldn’t put it past them to try another delay tactic.)

I dont think it is safe to count on lifelong Democrat voters to wise up anytime soon. There is a great video about the knowledge of Obama voters, something like, howobamagotelected dot conn. They really view voting as similar to rooting for a favorite sports team. They dont understand how their actions affect their own lives, and the lives of others.

  • Joanne13

Their willing to hold up some of it because (IMO) the frauds in the administration want something…. ANYTHING to get started (the individual mandate in this case). Their hope is that if some of this UNLAWFUL farce is started up, it’ll get entrenched enough to make it impossible to be undone. It’s them ‘getting their foot in the door’ and not letting it close again. I imagine they believe that it’ll break the system so critically that normalcy won’t be ABLE to return, thus keeping the way open for true (one payer) socialized medicine to take over in every state… sooner rather than later.

As a Louisiana resident, Jindal has been a huge disappointment. Please don’t be fooled by his snappy comebacks or comments. He is constantly campaigning, saying what he thinks we want to hear. He is a typical politician and cannot be trusted!

Oh, I didn’t know that? Is he not conservative enough?

      • Lydia

He says he’s conservative, but he’s a big spender of our money. Too many things to list, but is a big liar and inaccessible to all but his inner circle. Our treasurer says he hasn’t been able to speak to him for at least 18 months. I am sorry I voted for him.

O’care unenforceable, except selectively, because of law’s absurd size and scope; plus “…as HHS Sec. shall determine” throughout. Power-grab, as we’ve always said. All by design. Obamacare, as the law of the land, survives. Tyranny thrives. Nothing really new here.

Wow coming from Bobby Jindal who is bent on destroying Louisiana, not to mention the numerous times he tried pushing laws that the courts found to be unconstitutional. He really has nerve tweeting about anyone until he starts doing his job in the state he governs instead of spending all his term kissing butt with the Republicans in the White House . Why doesn’t Jindal go by his real name Piyush instead of adopting the name Bobby from little Bobby Brady from the Brady Bunch yep i can take him real serious………(NOT)

    • SPCAndyJ

Elections have consequences, deal with it — I don’t live in Louisiana so I don’t have to worry about the job Jindal is doing — unfortunately the entire US has to deal with Obama because you helped elect a failure to the White House…

      • Jindalisajoke

wow guess this site only allows post against President Obama beings my second post is missing even though it had nothing in my post warranting taking it off…. Can we say this site has chosen to take my constitutional right away to Free Speech …… Just another example of Republican backed does not believe in the Constitution they so claim to fight for … Thanks Twitchy for nothing .

Hold on a sec while I look that up.

          Stupid liberals.

          • TocksNedlog

What ‘proof of knowledge’ would you like for me to share? I’M not the one who falsely alleged that “this site has chosen to take my constitutional right away to Free Speech.”

    • rickg62

“Spending all his term kissing butt with the Republicans in the White House”? Last time I looked the White House was filled with left-wing radical Democrats. So much for the credibility of your criticism.

      • Jindalisajoke

Do you live in Louisiana? if not then you have no idea what Jindal has done or should I say not done in Louisiana.Ask Jindal where he’s been since Romney was running for President, not in his state he has forgotten his job here. Also while your at it ask Jindal how much time has he actually spent talking to his legislature here in our state since he took office his first term , I believe the most was about 5 minutes wow thats working hard for the folks who elected you to govern them. Just to clue your little mind in I do not associate myself with either party as their both fricked. Many from both parties in my state do not support Jindal as he has done nothing to progress our state, the laws he tries to push through here have all of late been found unconstitutional considering you right-wing glubs are so fearful the Great Obama has come to take away your constitutional rights, thats right its okay as long as its a Radical right-wingnut taking them away …. I guess Jindal can count on your vote if he makes it as a choice for the Republican party to run in 2016 and you can watch all your precious rights be ripped out from underneath you ………….. as for me I will be backing a candidate who actually believes in the constitution.. have a great day as your opinion has no bearing on me.

        • rickg62

Your answer shows exactly where you stand, despite your claim of backing a Constitutionalist. It becomes obvious when you start insulting anyone on the right. Speaking of little minds, you still didn’t answer where all the Republicans are in the White House. Go back to kissing Obama’s ass and leave the rest of us alone.

          • Jindalisajoke

I have replied to your question or do you need me to lead you to it geesh I love it , your wanting me to go away shows i struck a nerve in you , you don’t like the truth or anyone who disagrees with you .Guess what I’m not going away i have just as much right as you to be here so like it not deal with it . I would rather suck Obamas ass before even considering sucking anything on a Fucktard like you asswipe. Got anymore insults ……… bring it.

          • rickg62

Typical illiterate. No, you haven’t responded to my question as to where all the Republicans are in the White House. Going back further in you rants, it would be nice if you actually knew a little about government. Republicans hold a majority in the House, not in Congress, and the Democrats a majority in the Senate. Congress is composed of the House and the Senate. Yeah, you continue to suck his ass.

        • http://foxnews.com Larry Miller

You just proved yourself a liar. ‘you do not associate with either’? that was obviously a lie.

          • Jindalisajoke

the difference between you and I are that I can see the wrongs and rights of both parties. Whereas you only see the wrong doing of the left, and whatever the right does is alright by you no matter what laws they push. I don’t condemn Jindal on the fact that Obamacare may or may not be a good thing, I condemn him for or should I say the intern he pays to do his tweets as assuredly you do know since you are all so smart on here he’s not doing his tweets himself. Anyways Jindal has been to court several times in the past year trying to push unconstitutional laws in this state that even his own courts found were not right. He is great when it comes to reacting to tragedies such as hurricanes and the such but when it comes to bettering his state in all other areas he is by far a great failure. If he does decide to run for President in 2016 I can almost guarantee you he will not carry his state as the people here are very upset at how he is conducting himself as Governor here. People see his true colors , he is not worried about the people here which would explain why Louisiana is one of the poorest states , for that reason alone I don’t support this man and won’t support him in a Presidential Election.

        • Marjorie

Try Colorado with Chickenpooper…but at least he doesn’t claim to be a republican.

          • Jindalisajoke

Thats ok i’m just praying Jindals last 3 yrs in office goes quickly and we in this state can still survive after he’s finished trying to push his crazy laws through.

    • http://foxnews.com Larry Miller

What Republicans……………..in the White House?…….you been in a coma?

    • DrJanet

Your screen name–and message–suggest you may be irrationally obsessed with Bobby Jindal.

      • Jindalisajoke

Really , you mean like the majority here who are obsessed with Obama to attack him for everything he tries to do , then guess your right. To the poster who says elections have consequences I guess that’s true so stop your baby whining and suck it up because Obama isn’t going any where. As for Jindal as I stated in the post that got removed people of my state in both parties disagree with the job he is doing in Louisiana. I don’t hate Jindal I think he’s a joke and an invisible governor his priority right now should be to do his job here where he’s needed not spending tax payers money to fund his political ambitions trying to get the Republicans to accept him. Try googling Jindals name it’s no secret .

    • TocksNedlog

WHAT “Republicans in the White House”?

      • Jindalisajoke

Last I checked Republicans hold the majority of the seats in Congress and enough seats in the Senate to keep anything from being passed even if its to better the people of this country. As for Obama i like him as a person but he is very weak as a President .

        • TocksNedlog
