Wow. But that’s not all! White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer hit the Sunday shows today. Pesky facts? Nothing to see here, move along! Want to know where Obama was and what he was doing during the Benghazi attack? What difference does that make, rubes? Irrelevant!

So said Dan Pfeiffer on “Fox News Sunday.”

Bingo.

Irrelevant seems to be his word of the day. He offered it up again on ABC’s “This Week.”

You see, the legality of the IRS targeting conservative groups is also totally irrelevant. We don’t need no stinkin’ laws.

More from ABC:

“I can’t speak to the law here. The law is irrelevant. The activity was outrageous and inexcusable, and it was stopped and it needs to be fixed so we ensure it never happens again,” Pfeiffer said.

Stephanopoulos asked Pfeiffer if he really thought the law is “irrelevant.”

“What I mean is, whether it’s legal or illegal is not important to the fact that the conduct doesn’t matter…

Evidently, the Department of Justice must investigate irrelevancy to find out if targeting conservative groups is legal. It is apparently above everyone else’s pay grade, including the acting IRS director.

Hey, according to David Plouffe, they had it coming anyway because they were “flourishing.”

But it’s OK, you guys. He totally thinks it’s outrageous anyway.

The lack of self-awareness is staggering. Legal shmegal: It’s all irrelevant.

      • Allan Hamilton

Wait…Do you mean he’s incompetent in his corruptness or corrupt in his incompetency? Or may corrupt AND incompetent? Ooo, this is making my head spin.

On the contrary, he seems to be extremely competent in his corruption.

This administration also thinks the Constitution is irrelevant. It’s just a pesky, old, archaic piece of parchment.

    • CatHerder

Maybe he’s onto something here. Since nobody in this administration knows anything about anything, it just might be ‘irrelevant’ where any of them were. After all, they weren’t going to do anything, right?

      • Clayton Grant

His appearance on the Sunday talk shows is nothing more than an attempt to get people to attack the administration. It’s straight out of Rules for Radicals.

Candy Crowley was spinning for the White House this morning on CNN. So the Sunday Morning “offensive” has been kicked off. Candy Crowley was calling what the IRS did “mistakes” the IRS has already apologized whatever DNC operative handed Candy her talking points left out that the IG has already testified to the Criminal and Abuse of power by the IRS. As far as Benghazi goes Candy Crowley kept up the DNC talking point it’s all about politics. So CNN is still in bed with the DNC. Anything that CNN reports can be IGNORED.

That is the line between Justice and Tyranny, Pfeiffer. When the law only applies to the people and not the governing there is no longer freedom. There is no longer liberty.
I pray that was a slip of the tongue and spoken hastily and in error as an angry child.
If it is what you really believe the American people will accept your resignation.

Look for Dan to get some big award soon, right before he’s relocated to under the Obama bus with Rice and the other sacrificed aides

      • ObamaFail

Obama is rewarding her with helping him lie to the American people about Benghazi.

  • kssturgis62

Pfeiffer should be press secretary. He is a Much Better Liar than Jay Carney.

    • nc

I disagree. He’s as much a true believer, but Carney looks like Mr. Smooth Operator next to this bumbling, incoherent fool. He looked merely nervous with Steffy et al (I was flipping back and forth) but when I finally settled on Wallace at Fox, I couldn’t believe they sent this guy out. What did they hope to gain with him?

Update: I’ve been trying to get a link to the entire Wallace interview, because the snippet above doesn’t include the end where Pfeiffer truly dissolved into a puddle of incoherent mush. I’ll keep looking, but if anyone else can find it, I’d appreciate the link. Thank you.

      • kssturgis62

Now, now; we must remember that the White House, Media Matters, MSNBC, and many other far-left losers are saying that we just need to move on and try harder so this doesn’t happen again. Let’s just reset and have a ‘do over’ because the past is the past-we can’t change it; and everyone’s tired of the conspiracy crap coming from FOX, talk radio and so forth.

Well, no; that’s not happening you left, lying losers. This will not be shelved. Truth will be seen and heard. Pfeiffer and his pals will soon answer as to the whereabouts of the prez on 9/11/12. No one’ lettin’ go of this or any other scandal that the WH has on their plate.

  • Steve

Pfeiffer says, “what is important is to fix it”. Apparently the legality of the IRS or how informed Obama was during Benghazi is irrelevant. Want to fix it? Throw the perps, the incompetents and those criminally negligent in jail!

    • Clayton Grant

      Hear hear!

    • BlahBlah

Apparently it is irrelevant to know who screwed up but we must fix it. Fix what when you refuse to say what/who is broken to begin with.

      It’s amazing. Simply amazing.

      • Steve

These guys, obviously did not take any courses in logic. Rather, they were watching a Keystone Kops comedy.

    • trixiewoobeans

It’s only “irrelevant” if they can’t get the stink off, and hey, this stuff is only getting smellier.

      • Steve

Then we need to keep digging!

It’s only “irrelevant” if they can’t get the stink off, and hey, this stuff is only getting smellier.

No one has to obey the law except, of course, conservatives. Because, they are lawless individuals whose only purpose is to work and pay taxes to fund benefits for others.

    • help_less

Locks on doors are for honest folk; likewise laws do not pertain to lawmakers

  • Steve_J

To the administratrion assclowns, where Obama is during a crisis is only relevant depending on the outcome of a given situation. Guaranteed, had the bin Laden opertaion gone South nobody woiuld ever have seen pictures of Obama, Biden, Clinton, et al in the situation room.

  • BigTBoom

“…it was stopped and needs to be fixed so we ensure it never happens again”

    Translation…

The Commander-in-Chief’s location during a terrorist attack (declaration of war) not relevant, eh? Is that any different than a sheriff being — elsewhere — during a riot?

Just another example of BO loving the power and perks of the Presidency, but none of the responsibility. Please, someone explain to me how this country voted him in TWICE? I still don’t get it.

    • nc

They cheated. I’m convinced more than ever.

    • beebop1952

  • MyrmidoNOT

This butthead should be forced to dig FOUR deep graves,

    in river-bottom clay…with a teaspoon. Remember Benghazi?!?

  • jenndee

That really should have been this administrations campaign slogan ” The Law is Irrelevant”. This White House should have it on their letterhead!

  • http://twitter.com/yahneverknowCB yahneverknow

    irrelevant + fact
    irrelevant + law

    Oh, the brain hurt.

  • Gramera

Pfeiffer “The law is irrelevant” and Clinton “What difference at this point does it make” went to the same school of criminal, Marxist, Socialist indoctrination. Birds of a feather, the Political example of home grown anti-American terrorists.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=7011573 Beth Lott

If the conduct is so horrible and inexcusable and he never wants it to happen again then why does he care if it IS illegal? (Clearly it is, but I’m going to play by their semantics for a moment.) If the WH and the DoJ are so committed to fixing what went wrong and happen to stumble across some broken laws in the process, then if they are so objective and apathetic to the fate of the perpetrators surely prosecuting law-breakers would be no skin off their noses. Aside from that being the whole purpose to their existence in the first place, that is.

So, if he really doesn’t care whether the law was broken or not, why not just say that it was? How hard is it to just say, “Yeah, somebody’s going to jail. We’re just tracking down who and how many right now.” It’s not going to be him in any case, so he doesn’t need to worry.

  • Taxpayer1234

    THIS:

Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed? We want them broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against–then you’ll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We’re after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you’d better get wise to it. There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted–and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt.

Oh come on. This is being intentionally inflammatory. Is everyone here just that stupid? We all know what he meant. Whether it’s illegal or legal, it SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. Simple enough.

Why are you making this man’s lack of eloquence an issue? This is just reaching.

If targeting groups by the IRS is somehow not illegal, it should be and most likely soon will be.

This is NOT about a law. This about intentionally targeting Conservative groups. Obviously those doing the targeting didn’t give a rat’s ass about legality.

Be outraged and rabid about the IRS and whomever was pulling the strings. Overreacting to some talking head not being a great orator? Seriously. Get a hobby.
