Aching. Sides. Was Sandra Fluke, who draws crowds numbering in the tens, the headliner?

But there’s more! There was an anti-NRA, gun-grabbing rally in McPherson Square in Washington, D.C., today.

He might be the only one there!

If it is, they need to learn how to put the “rally” in rallying.

Washington Examiner’s Charlie Spiering was on the scene and reported on the pitiful protest.

He also posted these hilarious pictures on Twitter.

Twitter users gasp for breath.

Beautiful.

Joe is probably still licking his wounds after being righteously smacked for peddling the bogus “90% want stricter gun control” statistic. If that is 90%, you are totally doing it wrong.

Here is a shocker (not): Guess who did attend?

Huh. More media than at the start of the Gosnell trial. For a crowd numbering around a hundred.

Telling.

  • independentjones

    Heh.

This must be the 90% Obama’s poll refers to.

    • Thought Criminal #1

Yeah, 90% of the employees of MSNBC

      • Elaine

Oh, look! Mother Jones reports thousands showed up to protest, unlike the 9.12 DC protest, where only a few hundred made it. LOL

        • Adam Johnson

This made me want to see how Mother Jones handled it. They didn’t. They never once mentioned participation size. They did call it a “crowd” once, saying a “handful of the crowd raised their hands”. Wouldn’t a handful of the crowd be the whole danged crowd?

        • r_coplin2001

Elaine where were the thousands of people at this rally as it looked In the picture that their were less then a 100 people.

The Subway closest to my office has a larger amount of people waiting in line for a sandwich at noon. Pathetic.

    • r_coplin2001

Yeah Subway in my neighborhood has more people then that during noon and their is at least 3 or more Subway in the downtown Sacramento area.

  • Rabid

“Creative Editing”…er Photoshop job by gun grabbers in 3..2..1..

  • FFlintstone

Sandra Fluke will always be the posterchild for embarrassingly small crowds.

    • Paul

unless you are talking about the crowds of guys tapping her skank ass

      • Mike Peterson

Apparently, I wish i had more than 1 up vote for that.

  • http://twitter.com/die_mich_zwei Spatial Awareness

OMG!!!! Look at the tens of people! >:^)

  • Alarms & Discursions

More media than at the 500,000 strong March for Life.

  • Jack Deth

    Jeebus!

    Epic Fail writ large!

Fellow FReepers and I helped make up much larger crowds welcoming wounded warriors to Walter Reed opposite Code Pink on any given Friday evening during 2006 and 7!

  • NCRelite

the “protests” have gotten lazier and lazier. i guess when you’re a pampered libster it’s hard to work up the energy to do stuff

  • Slapweasel

The media are like dogs. They define “newsworthy” by sniffing a$$holes.

  • Herman LaClair

    was the police escort packing??

    • TocksNedlog

Yeah, but if the protestors got rowdy they’d only need 7 bullets to take all of them down.

  • rippersnort

MSNBC – 3…2…1…Crowds in the thousands at NRA rally…hehehe

  • Steve_J

Are those the 90% Scarborough was talking about?

  • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/YJ5G3N25JBSWDNFKBTXEVLR4NU Walt

The rest of the 90% of gun safety experts were busy meeting behind closed doors with Biden. Did they even need a permit for that small of a gathering? I’ve seen a bigger line at the 7-11 slurpee machine.

  • Jim

What were they expecting? OWS isn’t even about gun control, it’s about wealth redistribution. Did they really think a single-issue protest would carry over into something completely unrelated on a dime?

  • Right Wired

If that’s 90%, then entire population of the Earth is 37 people.

  • Lamontyoubigdummy

At any given time there are more people at a Luby’s Cafeteria than were at that protest.

And that crowd is mostly old folks what don’t go out much but Sundays.

  • grais

The good news for DC drivers : they weren’t terribly inconvenienced.

  • Chris Mitchell

I didn’ t see Peirs Morgan? Maybe he was getting his butt waxed.

    • Secede

      Or lubed…….

  • Grant

So the people the police were stopping? Did they even miss the light? Crowd looks pretty small… Just sayin’

  • Guest

I just got back from the gun shop to pick up a new AR and there were more people waiting to pick up their new guns than they had “Protesting” the NRA lol This is just hilarious! I am crying im laughing so hard LOL

  • Coffee

Is the gun on that poster a mix of an AK and an M-16 while being child-sized?

    • Secede

      It’s a Liberal Fantasy gun.

  • Rodney Brungardt

WOW, guess this goes to show where the people stand on gun control. Shows Obama’s 90% is in fact a lie!!!

  • gjsmith_62

More media than “protesters”? LOL! Maybe they should have hired some SEIU folks? Promised free beer?

    • http://www.facebook.com/richard.jefferies.96 Richard Jefferies

Even union types have standards. They don’t want to give up their guns either. Since the president comes from Bizarro Earth, I assume when he says 90% he really means 10%.

      • Chrissy the Hyphenated

Or point 90. Those decimal points are tricky. Easy to miss, you know?

  • Jedd McHead

Yo, muggers/thieves/etc.! Take a good look at those attending the rally — easy marks, to be sure. You KNOW they’re not packing — ripe for the picking. Enjoy.

Why did the police have to stop traffic for them to cross the street? They probably could have done so with one green light change. I’ve seen that many cross a Manhattan street on one green.

  • froggy19510

There are longer lines at the local Dairy Queen than at this protest.

  • lainer51

I’ve seen bigger crowds when cleaning up after my dog in the front yard.

  • http://www.facebook.com/richard.jefferies.96 Richard Jefferies

These comments look ripe for a “more people were at” hashtag to get trending.

  • Bob Honiker

    Was Schmuckie there?

  • digitalPimple

I think I went to a few birthdays that had more people.

  • Oschlama

about as joyful as a relapse

  • Guest

Comrades had no money to pay homeless people to swell the crowd,
    blame the Sequestration…

  • MaddMedic

Reblogged this on Freedom Is Just Another Word… and commented:
    Fluke like!! Heh…

  • Just Another Guy

The number of people from the media probably outnumbers the number of protesters.

If we factor out these media people from the pictures, I’m sure we’ll get down to a reasonable number of idio…um, protesters…maybe 15!

  • jenajosh e

Thanks Michelle for keeping it straight.

  • liberalssuck

It seems there was more media, then protestors, oh I wonder if Obozo told them to protest too, roflmao!!

  • TocksNedlog

    “We are the ninety percent!”
    “Psst!” *garble, gabble, jibber, jabber*
“Uh, correction: We are the ninety people!”

  • RedSoloCup

Liberals, prospering at failure as always.

Ya! Because the NRA has so much more money and influence than their opponents! Oh, Wait. http://www.opencongress.org/bill/113-h437/money
