As Twitchy reported, the Gosnell judge dropped multiple charges against abortionist Kermit Gosnell yesterday. He reversed one of his own decisions today, but tossed out another charge.

Members of the media were flabbergasted as to how one of the charges could have been dropped.

A baby was born alive and, according to testimony, fiercely fought for life. Desperately struggling to take his first, and ultimately last, breaths. For twenty minutes.

He had no loving touch, no warm arms embracing him as he saw his first view of the world, while gasping for breath.

He was then tossed aside like trash.

The monstrous Gosnell?

And it’s not the first time. First-hand reports from the trial indicate it is a common occurrence.

Despicable. Speaking of despicable, an Associated Press writer found nothing wrong with his smile. In fact, she repulsively found the monster quite “elegant.”

No words. Newsbusters had more (emphasis theirs):

Gosnell, an elegant man who appears serene in court, smiled softly as he listened to testimony last week, even that of a young woman who said she was hospitalized for two weeks after a 2009 abortion.

May justice prevail in this case. A reminder: Those babies will never smile. Their lives were snuffed out before they ever had the chance.

Now there is. Hell had to create a special place for Tiller and Gosnell will join him there.

    • PilatesQuestion

As long as they’re alive, they can be forgiven.

      • Lady 12

I don’t think they want forgiveness

        • PilatesQuestion

Maybe somebody should tell them about forgiveness.

          • Lady 12

You have to make them aware of the moral law first, so that they know they need forgiveness.

          • PilatesQuestion

I totally agree. I believe that there are many people who need to hear about morality in our society, but they won’t listen if we are condemning them as a person.

          • Lady 12

True, but God’s promises are for those who are insecure/mourning/guilty, whatever. His wrath is for those who are comfortable in their evil. This guy is about as comfortable in his evil as Hitler was.

          • PilatesQuestion

I understand what you are saying, but I think we can all become comfortable in our own evil if we can justify it in our own minds.

      • Gary

There is an unforgiven sin. This approaches it.

        • PilatesQuestion

The only unforgivable sin is dying with Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. Jesus also said that hate is the same thing as murder.
Just some things to think about, I’m not judging anybody.

          • Chase C.

I hate liberals but I’m not going to murder any of them? So does that mean I’m as equally as terrible as this doctor that killed babies?

          • PilatesQuestion

All I can say is that Jesus said hate is the same thing as murder. I used to hate liberals too, but it didn’t get me anything but frustration and sin.

          • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

There’s no place in Jesus’ heart for demons. Period. There was/is no love in God’s heart anywhere for the wicked. “For it be better that a millstone were tied about his neck, and he be cast into the sea..”

          • PilatesQuestion

All humans are made in the image of God; as far as I can tell Gosnell is not a demon.
Don’t get me wrong: I think Gosnell committed heinous acts, but I don’t think bashing him is going to get us anywhere.
Jesus showed us to hate the sin and love the sinner.

      • mickeyco

You’re forgetting they have to be repentant first. See that happening, do you?

          There is always time.

      • teamfrazzled

They are not asking for forgiveness, have no use for it.

        • PilatesQuestion

Maybe they’ve never heard about it.

      • Chase C.

Fuck that. This guy doesn’t deserve forgiveness. I don’t care what religion you believe in. This guy killed BABIES. I’m not a religious person but I am a strong conservative both fiscally and socially. I hope this guy suffers a horrible death and if there is heaven or hell I hope he spends eternity burning in hell.

        • PilatesQuestion

How do you know that killing babies is wrong? I don’t disagree with you, I just want to know how you came about this conclusion.

          • Leslie Ward

Biblical – Thou shalt not murder. Secular – PA law – abortions over 24 weeks are against the law. A baby outside of the womb who is moving and breathing – is killing. I dislike people who twist the Bible and/or an argument back upon another person. I agree with people here – anyone who intentionally kills a baby for money and then seems so cavalier about it has no soul, no heart and no humanity. Forgiveness does not ever mean – ignoring the sin or the crime. And to equate holding one responsible for breaking a law – as ‘judging’ is so disgusting – as to be reprehensible. No one is God, but to have civil, safe societies and to protect the vulnerable and innocent – there must be laws. And they must be enforced.

          • PilatesQuestion

I agree that forgiveness does not mean forgetfulness or ignorance, but I just think we need to love the sinner while hating the sin. Moreover, I love the facts of law and justice.
Before his conversion, the Apostle Paul was very similar to Gosnell; they both cavalierly took innocent human life. But anyone can change.

    From the Wash Times:
“President Obama has canceled plans to deliver a keynote address at Planned Parenthood’s annual fundraising dinner Thursday night after critics decried his high-profile role at the abortion rights group amid new concerns about the brutality of illegal forms of abortion.”
The WH said the President was still speaking at the event, just would not be the keynote speaker. When was the last time a sitting President didn’t command the room?

Can you imagine being an abortionist and asked what you do for a living: I murder babies.

  • TocksNedlog

One wonders if that AP reporter would have characterized Gosnell as “elegant” if she had been watching him, with a smile on his face, cutting up babies and flushing the parts down the loo.

You mean the woman who chose to be there in the first place. The babies sure didn’t.

Newtown shooter smiles as he guns down schoolchildren = Left calls him a horrible monster (and tries to link him to the Right)
Gosnell smiles while the prosecution describes the cold-blooded, methodical way in which he killed newborns = Left shrugs, goes to talk about Reese Witherspoon making a drunken fool of herself.

    • shimauma

Remember, to the left those public school children were already well on their way to being indoctrinated into the commie clan, while the unborn are a drain on their resources. They have to make sacrifices on their altar of feminism and global state, donchaknow

Shouldn’t Gosnell’s office assistant be on trial as well if she participated in the murdering?????

Reports are that a woman changed her mind on abortion after hearing her babies heartbeat, then Gosnell drugged her and did abortion anyway. Am I wrong or isn’t drugging a woman who says “no”, then assaulting her anyway considered rape?

  • CO2 Producer

The Gosnell trial is going to further set the legal precedent and permanently define the accepted societal bar for when life begins. Each time the bar is lowered, it’s nearly impossible to raise it again. Dropping some of these charges this early is an ominous sign, and Gosnell’s arrogant, satisfied reaction only solidifies the pro-abortionists’ hope that they will continue to win more and more battles in the legal court system as well as the court of public opinion. The man should be worried sick for his very life, but he must now be feeling quite confident that he will be vindicated in the end. The ramifications of which way this trial goes are enormous. Justice must prevail.

    • nc

As long as the media is silent on this, your words will unfortunately come true. They have the power to bring this to the “court of public opinion” but for obvious reasons they choose not to.

      • CO2 Producer

Hence, the importance of raising our own voices. Though it’s no easy task, battles can be won if more of us would bother fighting…including myself.

    • Michael Anderson (WB)

I’m not so sure the judge acquitting him of these charges is as critical as it’s been made out to be. It’s much easier for the prosecution to re-introduce charges that have been acquitted by a judge than by a jury. I suspect that it is a means to expedite the trial. From what I can tell, the prosecution can ask for a mistrial based on a judge’s acquittal if they don’t get the result they want; if the jury hands down an acquittal it’s much harder to get a mistrial for it.

      • CO2 Producer

Hopefully you are correct in that the purpose of the acquittals is simply to speed up the case and won’t affect the outcome that much. I don’t consider myself all that experienced in legal procedures (and I’d like to keep it that way), so thanks for your response.

        • Michael Anderson (WB)

I’m not either (apart from serving on a jury) but I do know judges don’t like to waste time so it seemed like a reasonable assumption, then I looked up what a judges acquittal meant and for once it appears I was right. Just don’t tell my teenager.

          • CO2 Producer

As a former teenager myself, I would guess your kid wouldn’t believe you no matter the preponderance of evidence in your favor.

  • Sean Maloney

Makes you wonder who the bigger monster is: Gosnell or Minehart?

  • Torqued

I don’t understand throwing out the abuse of a corpse charges. If they were born dead, he abused them by cutting their spinal cords. If they were born alive, he murdered them.

    • mickeyco

Throwing their body parts down the toilet surely sounds like abuse of a corpse to me.

      • Michael Anderson (WB)

Actually they didn’t throw the body parts down the toilet from what I read in the grand jury’s report. They had the mothers deliver into the toilet and just flushed the babies. The problem with that was they bodies tended to clog the drains.
Apparently one larger baby was swimming in the toilet trying to stay alive.

  • daPenguin

ok I know this is not popular today but it is the truth. None of us can escape judgment forever and he will someday realize this.

Once again, we see the consequences of letting about 3000 of them run 320 million of us.

  • jb

I’ve got a sickening question to ask: If he is found innocent of all charges, do those people who pled guilty in this case (the people who worked under Gosnell’s direction) to avoid trial, do they go free?

  • lainer51

why do I think this judge is a democrap?

    • Michael Anderson (WB)

It may have nothing to do with politics and more to do with being expedient. A judge’s acquittal doesn’t carry the same weight as a jury’s acquittal. Therefore if the other charges fail to provide a conviction the prosecution could ask for a mistrial and recharge him with the previously excluded crimes.

  • 912er

Everyone is condemning this doctor as if he is a bad guy caught in a system of otherwise humane ending of human life……This festival of slaughter is going on all across the country..Thats the reason why the media isn’t covering it…They know its just the tip of the iceberg and they don’t want their ideology and agenda exposed.

  • Leslie Ward

Apparently – public exposure is what is needed as the Judge re-instated the charges for Baby C (notice that it’s Baby not Fetus) and the Defense Rested. He smiles because he has no soul, no heart, no humanity at all. Never did.
