That Twitter user is not alone. As Twitchy reported yesterday, President Stompy Foot let his angry out. Today, is he back to full-blown ego? President Obama spoke at the interfaith service in Boston earlier.

While we all whole-heartedly agree with that sentiment, many Twitter users noticed that President Ego seemed to make the interfaith Boston memorial service all about him. As usual.

Some disagreed, including actor Drew Carey.

Memorial service or Obama rally? You decide:

  • Corey Spofford

Drew Carey and Obama are doing something in common, huffing and puffing but going where? NOWHERE!

  • Obamaroid_Ointment

If Obama had a son he wouldn’t look like Martin, & his daughters don’t look like Krystle or Lingzi.

    • Rightturn

Are there those claiming that the three were killed due to their appearance?

    • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Well, not THAT Martin, anyway. The other one. The Trayvon one. Gotta keep the Martins straight.

    • StopHurtingPeople

      Your point?

  • Saar

I had to turn the tv off, it really was about him. Crocodile tears, it was very methodical and robotic — in how he would speak— in these blocks– of words— because that conveys—-emotion—– from the heart—–but in reality—-i could care less—-if i had cared—-i would have said—–on the very first day of the bombing—–that it was a act of terrorism—–and not have waited till the second day——to actually say it was.

    • Rightturn

Not knowing why something happened in the immediacy of an event does not denote a lack of care. By comparison, George W. Bush waited until September 12th, 2001 to call the attacks of the previous day “acts of terror,” but that does not by any means imply that did not care about the lives affected that day.

      • journogal

Bush isn’t President, Obama is, so I don’t understand the constant comparison. Are you trying to excuse Obama’s actions by saying, “b-but Bush!” Thought Obama was suppose to be better than Bush.

      • KayGee

You speak poorly of the past glory and then further defile his legacy by comparing and even using him to defend the traitorous actions of the current Failure in Chief?? Heresy, i say, HERESY!

      • mike_in_kosovo

Incorrect – he mentioned it less than an hour after the attacks.

Today, we’ve had a national tragedy. Two airplanes have crashed into the World Trade Center in an apparent terrorist attack on our country.

He mentioned terrorism again later that day:

Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts.

      • 364NKL

Don’t let facts get in the way libtard.

    • IceColdTroll

      Maybe he–
      took voice coaching from —

      Shat —

    • Seriously?

That —– was funny —– until —– I ——- and my family —– and all the experts agree with me here —– realized that you —- and Matt Drudge —- were making fun of —- me.

    • Jack Deth

So. Obama does a really bad William Shatner, too?

    • Tom Anderson

The only time Ive seen real emotion was during the hissy fit tantrum nationally televised presser.
While I appreciate a President who can remain calm in the face of turmoil….monotone dont cut it!

  • overboosted

    King Barack indeed……….

    • beebop1952

If he had gone to Thatcher’s funeral he wouldn’t have been able to TALK. So there it is.

  • Clayton Grant

A lot of people like it when Obama makes it personal. I’m not one of them.

  • Brian Roastbeef

Not to nitpick about the “ego Obama” headline, but it’s really just “angry mode” and the default setting.

  • Sakemoto

What a disgusting display by the Pretender-in-chief. It was AWFUL. It actually made me ill.

  • neoface

Heck, I mute the TV, or switch station if I hear Obie’s voice. He is rather lecturing someone or something(when he doesn’t get his way) or lying. The eight years of Obama will be deleted from America history books as lost years.

    • Rabid

No…It should be help up high as an example of what NOT to do.

      • Ricki Ryan

You would think this country would have learned from the Jimmy Carter disaster, but apparently not….

        • Orlando Cee

Many of the low information voters today weren’t around that far back, so they don’t remember the pain the rest of us felt during Carter’s term.

  • jojofido

but 90% want to hear him…

    • Rabid

Maybe in those extra seven states…

      • jojofido

      • TexSizzle

        10 states.

  • PatriotGlory

If he weren’t so transparent, this false flag wouldn’t be so obvious. Now he’s trying to take out guns, next week anything that could possibly be used in a bomb (household goods included), in a month we’ll be a socialist utopia, and in a year we’ll be Rome.

    • StopHurtingPeople

Sounds like your tin hat is picking up a very clear signal there Patriot.

  • Cruz2016!!!

Do people still listen when Obama speaks?

    • Pat Loudoun

      No. Just progressives.

    • pajamakat

      Never did, never will.

    • wwbdinct

No. I can’t watch him at all – ever. The very sight and sound of him makes me want to puke.

      • Louise Uznanski

Same here. Ugh. Can’t stand to listen to the egomaniac in chief.

      • Sons Thunder

You know, I was no fan of GWB but I knew he was the president and I was able to listen to him without acting like a spoiled 6-year old.

        • wwbdinct

Barry is the one who behaves like a spoiled 6 year old. That’s why I can’t listen to him. That and his total and complete phoniness. Anyway, if you don’t like my opinion of him feel free to go back to your lefty sites where you all worship at the feet of your Messiah.

          • Sons Thunder

I’m not into hero worship either. I just said I’m able to act like an adult.

        • StopHurtingPeople

Maybe it’s because he spoke like a 6-year old.

        • 364NKL

George Bush never acted like the narcissist pig that Obama is. He actually loved America and didn’t pit Republicans against Democrats. I hope our country recovers from the devastation that this idiot will cause.

      • LilliaNinTX

        Me too!

    • Fredddd

All of the media. The rest of American citizens, not so much..

    • beebop1952

    • PilatesQuestion

      God does.

  • Karl Morey

Going to have to start referring to him as President Beaker. Only other muppet I’ve ever known to speak exclusively as “Me me me.”

    • Garth Haycock

The difference is that the real Beaker is sincere.

    • TheOriginalDonald

no no no it’s President VERUCA SALT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #DaddyIWantHigherTaxesForEveryone!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Miss Clairee

He’ll probably pull out the fake mustache he saved from his Israel trip, slap it on and go out barhopping “incognito” in Boston tonight!

  • Ron Morisseau

AHH AHH AHH OBAMA…He should have just played that on a loop in the background while he read that PREPARED speech

  • RblDiver
    • IceColdTroll

Oh, that’s good! Thanx for the chuckle!

  • capisce

The only place or event he cant find an “I” is Benghazi.

      • BlueGood

I heard part of SPOTUS’s (“Sock Puppet Of the Untied States”) speech on Welfare Radio ~ aka CBC~…Just about had to stop my car & toss my

“Me ME ME ….uh, um,……ME ME ME…Boston…..ME ME uh, um….ME ME my wife…..ME ME ME….MEEEEEEEEE”!!!!

        WHAT A MAROON!

    • Koker

He would have made that about him but what happens in vegas stays in vegas!

    • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

The ‘I’ is at the end of Benghazi.

  • Ron Morisseau

Even Barney Frank said OBAMA makes everything about himself while eating a sausage sandwhich in the background

    • StopHurtingPeople

Is sausage sandwich funny because he is gay? Classy.

      • Jack Deth

For someone with seven (7) whole comments. You do get around a lot.

        Yet accomplish so little.

Jack Deth: “Get out of our ideological comfort zone and stop trying to make us consider alternative points of view!”

  • Michelle

I watched a clip, it was a great pep rally for the next Boston Marathon. But I’m curious, since it was a memorial service for those killed and injured, did he talk about the victims and their families before he went from pep rally mode to I, Me, My mode?

    • Rico Alexander

You obviously didn’t watch the speech.

      • Michelle

Definitely obvious, as indicated by my stating, “I watched a clip” You get a big ole’ gold star for your stellar observation skills!

      • Jack Deth

i didn’t watch the speech, either. Seeing and hearing him speak makes my teeth itch. But I can give you the Cliff Notes.

Me. Me. Me. Me, Me. And those evil Republicans.

        • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

          You forgot ‘Shameful Congress’.

          • Jack Deth

            True, K:

Because everything (all three bills) died in the Senate yesterday. None can go back to be killed in the House by those evil Republicans.

So, Obama loses a whipping boy and LOT of political collateral and cache for 2014.

  • Garth Haycock

Did Dear Leader make the Boston service about him?

    Is that a rhetorical question?

  • Jodi Paige

When Christ is not the message from the pulpit, we must observe what that church holds up as their object of worship. Today, Obama provided that object: himself. And a thinly-veiled political/social gospel message about immigration. Despite our egomaniac-in-chief, I do pray the peace of Christ upon the people of Boston.

    • Jason Call

Thank you, sincerely, for this post. Amen.

  • nc

Well, they did have the Wellstone Memorial, so this isn’t exactly new…

  • IceColdTroll

“We may be momentarily knocked off our feet, but we will pick ourselves up. We will keep going. We will finish the race.”

Is it me, or does that seem hideously, grotesquely, inappropriate?

    • Michelle

Considering the number of victims who lost their legs, it’s astonishing inappropriate and insensitive.

    • GreenEyedGal

I thought I heard someone laugh loudly when he said that. I thought it was completely inappropriate.

    • Orlando Cee

Which race is he going to finish off?

    • Meshell

I have to admit- I thought so too.

  • therantinggeek

I must be in one of my odd moods…I got to reading through the Tweets, watching the video of him, and this song came to mind…

  • Booker

Keep it up Obama. Jimmy Carter is looking for a replacement for worst President in history. Don’t stop now! You’re getting to Andrew Johnson territory!

    • Rico Alexander

      You mean Bush territory.

Flashback to the disgusting spectacle of Senator Paul Wellstone’s memorial service for such disgusting political propagandizing. Ugh….nauseating…

  • Rico Alexander

You knew the loons here would criticize this great speech. Such pathetic individuals, the lot of you.

Harvard isn’t in Boston Mr Obama

  • Guest

The emperor is an attention whore,
not enough love as a child.

  • Drdr Jojo

I didn’t get to watch Obama at the The Boston MErathon MEmorial today.

  • Justin Williamson

The tweet from Laura Ingraham points out exactly how absurd his remarks were. I doubt she was sincere in her saying that the president made nice remarks, but was very sincere about wanting to uplift the good people of Boston. Only she recognizes that she should show some grace and dignity and made it about them and not her feelings. She may very well have been moved by his words, but I find that hard to believe. He reminds me of an old sales manager I had, when we sold a lot of cars over the weekend and me and the other guys were busting our hump 8am-9pm Friday to Sunday and anytime we needed anything from him it was pleading to tear him away from his emails and computer games, then watching over every move to make sure he didn’t mess up our deals since he wasn’t at all qualified to be in that position, but was hired because he charmed the owner, then when the owner shows up on Monday and asks about the good weekend, he says I, Me, and My more times that I can count. Only mentions us to say “I had MY guys out there, and I was watching over everything to make sure MY guys didn’t slack off. I, I , I…” Then if a weekend went poorly, it was “THEY seemed to come up short on every deal. THEY couldn’t get customers to budge, THEY weren’t on THEIR game…” He just reminds me of every bad manager I’ve ever had. Except he lacks their business experience and the understanding they had that you CANNOT operate on massive deficits forever. Sorry, that was a bit of a tangent. Like talking about your time at Harvard and yourself when people have lost their lives and limbs.

  • neoface

Too bad you couldn’t mute the mic as the TV volume. People really need to hear from this gasbag??? You know its just a photo op for him.

  • BadGirloftheNorth

Mr. President, there is no “I” in BOSTON, well, at least until you come to town….

  • KayGee

Obama said something?! What a jackbutt he is! Did you hear him using all those first person pronouns AND possessive pronouns?? THE NERVE he has, using our English like it’s his language!!!

    • Corey Dennison

Reading. You should try it sometime.

  • andross1

Jeez, these people on twitter sound so angry with life. Obama this and Obama that. Sounds to me like they’re so obsessed with the guy. Get a life people!

    • Corey Dennison

Well, he IS the presdient, you jackass. If he didn’t have such negative effects on my life, I might be able to ‘ignore’ him.

As it is, your comment is stupid.

  • BryanB61

President Obama to Boston: You will run again, and so will I as soon as I get the stupid constitution changed…

    • Jack Deth

      Nice Roald Dahl reference, Don!

      • StopHurtingPeople

Too bad it doesn’t make sense. Quite the intellectual.

        • Jack Deth

You’ve obviously never read Roald Dahl. Or have seen any of his adaptations of his children’s books into films.

Veruca Salt was an obnoxious little girl who met a diastrous, though fitting end in ‘Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’.

          • TexSizzle

            She was a bad egg.

        • Michelle

It actually makes perfect sense and you just showed us how ignorant you are.

        • StopHurtingPeople

Love Roald Dahl, just don’t think it is all that clever an analogy to warrant two comments in one thread. I imagine the line of thinking is… Obama is such a whiney spoiled little girl. Who is a whiny spoiled little girl… Veruca Salt! I will go and use that twice in a single comment stream. It’s just not that clever an analogy. What makes him a whiney spoiled in Boston today?

  • StopHurtingPeople

Anyone who says he as making it about him does not understand the point he was making about Boston. Boston IS in all of us. It is the birthplace of our nation! It is a unifying city in a divided country. Boston respects the role of US President and it means something that any President understands the city. It rings true to us. He was right on and this was a non-partisan memorial, not a rally. Stop politicizing everything and remember that we actually have to live and stand together sometimes! The divisiveness is so absurd. Stop hurting people. peace.

    • Corey Dennison

So…we’re not smart enough to understand what we’re hearing?

Yeah…go with that. THAT’S the way bring people over to your way of thinking.

      • StopHurtingPeople

Discourse is dead here. Where is the debate Corey? It sounds like a lot of sour grapes on a day when our Pres actually had something inherently good and virtuous to say.

        • Corey Dennison

Well, let us know when he eventually DOES get around to saying something “virtuous and inherently good.”

          • StopHurtingPeople

If you can watch Obama’s speech yesterday and find no virtue in it, then you are pretty coldhearted. He will be remembered for it. I think maybe that is what bothers you most of all.

  • syvyn11

I am shocked by Laura Inghram’s comment. She rips Barry a new one every day. Not too shocked about Drew Carey. He’s a Libertarian and pretty much politically agnostic.

  • StopHurtingPeople

Where is the logic in finding weak arguments against a speech that was all about unification in the face ignorance? Let’s forget politics and LISTEN again. The tone of our national response to this terrorism is different this time around. It is about strength, love, and unity not politics, hate, revenge and vitriol. Don’t be a sore loser, when your personal enemy has a shining moment.. Respond like Boston did. That is how we will win against a faceless coward of an enemy.

    • wwbdinct

I realize that this week is spring break and Mommy and Daddy couldn’t take you to Disneyworld but you really should get off of the computer and get back to your juice box and crayons.

      • StopHurtingPeople

Is that the best discourse you could muster? You would have faired very well at the continental congress my great debater wwbdinct!

  • Lisa Dean

Why is everyone surprised at his speech for the Boston memorial? He did the same damn thing in Newtown, CT, in HI for Sen. Daniel Inouye’s memorial and in Tucson, AZ. And other speeches honoring Lincoln, Rosa Parks, in Germany etc. “I wanna to talk about me, Wanna talk about I, Want to talk about number 1, Oh My, Me, My”….

  • tops116

I’d be more surprised if he didn’t do this.

  • Tina Sergent Seward

I guess it was a good thing I decided not to watch the speech.

    • StopHurtingPeople

You might want to watch it before you comment. That is how you form a real opinion.

  • Justin Mars

He did the same exact thing at the Hawaii Senator’s funeral a few months ago. He is a egomaniac. I hate that little jog he does. You know the jog going to the stage or the jog coming off the plane, as if his name has been called out for a basketball game. It annoys the crap out of me how he struts around like he is something special. He is just a imbecile

  • Krash1313

I remember the memorial speech he did in Tucson after the shooting there. I was so ashamed watching that.. It was like a pep rally with people cheering..Just no class!

Along with the def of marriage, have they changed the def of Memorial Service? You’d have to be deaf to think that was a “good” speech. Maybe if he was speaking in front of the bomb blast area it would have been okay, but a Memorial Service?

  • Obamaroid_Ointment

Teleprompter programmers should have had Barry do a Slick Willy bit lip bit. That might have made him look authentic.

  • GiannaMolly

Barack, always the phony. I enjoyed the various clergymen, until he came along. He kept repeating lines that got applause, typical narcissist. At the end when he was leaving, flashed his megawatt smile, as if this was a giddy moment. Jerk!
