Bingo!

Obama sycophants Beyoncé and Jay-Z celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Cuba.

Yes, Cuba.

Some lawmakers are questioning how the trip came about.

https://twitter.com/SK_1991_/status/320871802618380289

Twitter users with a moral compass are disgusted that the trip took place at all. They give the couple the business, and rightly so.

https://twitter.com/quixotehamlet/status/319930062902263808

Rep. Ros-Lehtinen slams the couple, too.

Whatevs! “99 Problems” doesn’t include oppression, evidently.

Amen.

The disgust continues.

And an exit question for President Obama.

Is she still invited to perform for Michelle Obama’s next birthday? Stay tuned!

  • Jake Wilde

Beyonce is a “Super-spy!” That is how we started the coup on Qaddafi remember? She played at his birthday party two years before he was ousted for an exorbitant amount of money. Cuba is going down! lol Such role models they are….

    • $27789750

Yeah, well, say what you like…all kinds of spy stuff could lurk in that hair. :)

      • Miss Clairee

        …..and disease!

  • Mike W

Jay-Z did not even graduate from high school. Dumbo, do you expect him to know how to even think? Druggie loser from day one. Best thing he could ever do to redeem himself is find Jesus and go back to school.

    • RedSoloCup

Gay-Z makes the perfect Obama supporter.

      • TheOriginalDonald

        you mean LAY-Z!

    • Brad

Sarah Palin dropped out of college four times.

      • RedSoloCup

Glad to see she still lives rent-free in your head.

      • lillymckim

Since we are talking about the super dooper stars here and you are quoting Palin stats heres a stat for ya Jay shot his own bother.
A man who would shoot his own brother as a role model in the Obama White House?

        • Sscud

Why would Obama care? His brother is poor and homeless.

      • Conservativesniper

So? She at least accomplished the monumental task of graduating from HS. (sarcasm)

    • Guest

Loser? He’s worth 800 million. How much are you worth? LMAO

    • trixiewoobeans

Can’t think, and Cindy McCain asks if they can read? Hell no! Look at their song lyrics! Beyonce needed SIX producers to put out this gem…”Girls, we run this mutha! Girls, who run the world? Girls. We run this mutha. Girls.” And no, it doesn’t get better. They’re perfect tools for the govt.

  • Guest

Well, I guess we all know who the commies are now. They are coming out of the woodwork, right and left. They feel like they don’t have to hide anymore, because their Prez has their back. “We so got this”.
Celebs have always backed dictator-run countries. In fact they can’t wait until the US is the same. Remember Sigourney Weaver said “once a president gets a second term, the gloves come off and that a lot of us have sort of been waiting for that.”

    • Squirrel!

It’s just so strange how the Hollywood ppl are. It makes no sense to us normal ppl. I am constantly trying to understand why anyone would support communism, dictators and oppression and I can never come to a reasonable conclusion about it.

      • rivers

The whole industry attracts a certain type of person. People always speculate that the business makes for addicts and high divorce rates. It’s the other way around, the business attracts those types. And it’s nothing new. Norma Desmond and Sunset Boulevard as a type came out when the industry was still in it’s youth. No, they aren’t normal people. And they don’t exactly come from well educated stock. Pushing your kid to be a big famous star isn’t exactly the classiest move a parent can make, is it?

        • Squirrel!

          Good point.

        • Grumpa Grumpus

Which is, in a large part, why the “studio system” existed… the Studio acted in loco parentis — quashing the biggest excess, guiding the stars, providing “old actors homes” for those that peed-away their paycheck, and undertaking the actors’ education.

That last part is a large part of why actors & actresses beyond the base level could dance, act, sing (passably), and do humor (again, passably), how to give unembarrassing interviews, most could ride a horse and many could play some instrument but today to find any who are more than one-dimensional is a struggle.

When you have a woman whose claim-to-fame is shaking her fanny wearing only over-tight undergarments and a guy who thinks he’s a thug… the “Studio System” starts to look reasonable, hummm?

    • Brad

So if you visit a communist country you must be a communist yourself??

      • Guest

Why would anyone who isn’t a communist want to visit a communist country?

        • Brad

Because they’re still great places to visit for a holiday? Are you telling me that you can’t visit any country unless you agree with their politics 100%?

          • r07a23c

I’ve been to Cuba. Went when I was in the Coast Guard, returning 78 Cubans we had intercepted fleeing from Cuba via makeshift raft. Yeah Brad, I’ll bet it’s an awesome place to be.

          • Regina DeMarco Gaffney

I already posted this elsewhere, but it is illegal to travel to Cuba unless under certain conditions. What criteria did they meet, Brad?

          • TocksNedlog

They knew somebody — I don’t want to say his name, but his initials are Barack Hussein Obama — with connections.

          • Harry A

and you’re also aware that close to 100thousand americans still do it every year right?

          • Miss Clairee

Sasha Thunderthighs can do whatevah she wants!

          • $46661540

Rolling through a stop sign is illegal as well.

The only penalty to getting caught traveling to Cuba is something like $5,000 to the State Department, but it is legal if traveling for humanitarian or religious missions.

I didn’t know GWB, but I was also able to visit Cuba for a day. I’m also not a communist or Castro supporter.

          • TocksNedlog

Yes, it’s SO great, people are dying to stay there.

          • Miss Clairee

I love visiting places where people are oppressed and their rights violated on a daily basis! What’s not to love about that?

      • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

Bet you’d be telling us that about anyone who visited Peron-era Argentina.

    • $46661540

I’ve traveled to Cuba, are you suggesting that I’m a Communist?

For all the people saying that you need special treatment to visit Cuba, that is not the case. I spent a day there while on a trip to Jamaca. What I did was take a boat with a guide, and when you land in Cuba, you have to ask their passport control officer to not stamp your passport. 99% of the time, they oblige this request. The reason you have to do this is because when you get back to the US, if US customs finds a Cuba stamp, there’s a $5,000 penalty that’s payable to the State Department.

I found Cuba a very pleasant, albeit a little strange, place to visit. Their tourism is well boueyed from Canadians, Latin Americans and Europeans so there were services available to tourists (except credit cards).

Honestly, if you are looking for a unique day trip while in the area, I’d recommend it. It’s an interesting look at a society is basically still stuck in the 1960s, and the people are very warm and welcoming.

      • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

Interesting as Cuba sounds, being stuck in the late 50’s and early 60’s and all, could you imagine what would have happened if you’d gotten arrested while in Cuba illegally? I’m sure it would be a bit more that a $5k penalty to the State Department.

        • $46661540

That’s where the Rolex trade comes into place. I always travel with a fake Rolex as insurance if I ever need to get myself out of a pinch. Rolexes are basically an international currency that every knows and wants. This plan worked perfectly for me in Nigeria at a very threatening road block outside of Lagos.

Although in reality, Cuba needs Americans and more importantly they need American Dollars. They wouldn’t give an American any undeserved trouble. With that said, I was on my best behavior regardless.

          • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

I’m glad you bring fake Rolex watches to trade in case something happens but you’ve missed my point completely. I wish you the best on your journeys to countries on don’t travel lists.

    • Dan

Do you know how many people visit Cuba and are not commies? What a right wing tool you are

  • Maxx

Well, they would not be able to afford said trip, nor would they be welcome, were it not for the ignorant drones here in the U.S. supporting them buy buying the trash they put out and attending their “performances”. If y’all have a problem with these twits, just stop funding them. Really pretty simple.

    • CherDash

I in no way support them with my $.

  • JR48

Nothing says vacation fun like hanging out with people oppressed by a murderous dictator. Bonus points when the money that you spend there goes to fuel the regime. Someone pass Jay-z another hand rolled Cuban cigar, it’s party time.

Hollywood is a special kind of terrible stupid.

    .

    • Brad

Every year millions of americans travel to countries run by dictators. Do you hate them all?

      • Squirrel!

Many places around the world have sites that are of historical value, even if they are in slum countries, or are beautiful places regardless of those in power. These 2 are wealthy and of all the places in the world to go for your anniversary, why Cuba? For the cigars? I understand Cuba is a beautiful island, but I also understand Americans are banned from going there, so why is it okay for Beyonce & Jay-Z?

*Edited because I said they were guests of the gov’t & referenced that. Misunderstood tweet above. Haven’t confirmed for myself whether they were or not.

        • Brad

Jay and B weren’t guests of the government. Yes, Cuba is a beautiful island. You answered your own question. Where should they travel then? Should they only travel to western developed countries?

          • Squirrel!

Do you not find it questionable that they were able to travel there when no other Americans can do so? No, I don’t think they should travel to only western developed countries (lots of less developed places I’d like to see even this one) but find it odd that they were ABLE to go to Cuba.

          • Brad

I do find if questionable. That’s actually an interesting question. But I don’t understand why everyone is trashing them and saying they support communist dictators simply because they visit the country. How did they travel to Cuba? I don’t know. But it’s really stupid to say they’re “ignoring” all the bad things that have happened in the country. When you travel to Britain are you ignoring all the bad things British empire did centuries ago?

          • Squirrel!

Understand where you’re coming from about that except Britain’s travesties are past; Cuba’s are present. See my next reply to myself.

          • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

Show us. Take a trip to Havana and tell people how wrong they are about America and Castro and Communism. Let us know how it works out for you.

          • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

If you’ve noticed it’s Cuban’s who’ve fled to the US and those who are descendants of Cuba that are really questioning their trip.

          • Squirrel!

This all forced me to go get informed on travel to Cuba by American citizens. So in my uninformed ignorance I thought Americans could not even go to Cuba. Ah, but looks like we can with restrictions. Learn something new every day! Guess this was mine!

          • Regina DeMarco Gaffney

Under what conditions were they permitted to travel there?

          • Squirrel!

Rich & famous conditions? Pals & supporters of Obama conditions?

          • CherDash

There are plenty of other beautiful islands/countries to visit. Why pick one with a murderous thug dictator in charge?

        • RedSoloCup

You must excuse Brad, he only parrots what Tingles and Piers feed him.

      • TocksNedlog

One can visualize the wheels turning in Brad’s head: “Let’s see — Obama likes Beyoncé and
Jay-Z; therefore, I must defend any and all stupid things that they do, lest it appear that I’m dissing the president by proxy.”

        • Brad

One can visualize the wheels turning in tocksnedlog’s head: “Let’s see Obama likes Beyonce and Jay-z; therefore I must hate them and bash them for any and all normal things they do.

          • TocksNedlog

Traveling to Cuba as American tourists is a “normal” thing, is it? Since when?

          • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

@disqus_aVsqF6rgJx:disqus – just because they can go to Cuba doesn’t mean they should. Besides going on a vacay, enjoying a ciga cigar from Cuba (but it wasn’t for the look because it was lit by Jay Z) and snapping pictures from the balcony were they there to speak up against the abuse of Cubans? Nope, don’t think so. Being tactful and having a bit of class escapes many from Hollywood and this administration too.

      • Miss Clairee

Brad, you run around in a black leotard and pantyhose doing the ‘Single Ladies’ dance all day, don’t you?

      She ain’t the only one.

way to make this a racial issue troll.

      • Grumpa Grumpus

        The truth is the truth.

Statistically Ed’s correct, but anecdotally I can second it:

One of my Daughter-in-Laws is an American who happens to be of negro descent. She’s commented on it and how the WWII generation were anti-communism.

She says that she remembers the Proggie Do-gooders coming through the Projects in the late 1950s & 1960s (her highschool years) preaching the “Wonders of Communism” and how they (i.e, the people in the Projects) would get their place in the sun… given a state to run & rule.

A lot of her family fell for that, but she kept asking if being given things and told it “wasn’t ‘charity’ because they (i.e., blacks) deserved them by virtue of skin-color & long-past wrongs…” didn’t result in the giver buying them. None could answer her question and that scared her enough to keep her away. Digging for the answer led to a Conservative turn of mind.

  • nanoreaper

it disgusts me but doesn’t surprise me at all after all she desperately trying to shed her middle class upbringing to look like real thug and Jay-z well he is just a moron

60,000 Americans visit Cuba every year. Millions of Canadians and Europeans also like to spend their holidays over there. Just because you go there for a vacation doesn’t mean you support communism. If you visit France does it mean you’re a socialist? If you go to Saudi Arabia does it mean you support the oppression of women? Grow up.

    • Regina DeMarco Gaffney

Again, Brad, what requirement did they meet in order to be permitted to travel to Cuba?

      • RedSoloCup

Good luck getting a coherent answer. Brad is no doubt an avid Chrissy Matthews viewer judging from his ramblings.

      • Harry A

there is no travel requirement to get into cuba. you can catch a flight from toronto and the cuban immigration people are so used to americans that they already know not to put a stamp in your passport. i know many people who have have gone to Cuba.

Here are the 12 possible criteria under which an American citizen may apply for permission to travel to Cuba:
    1. Family Visits
    2. Official Government Travel
    3. Journalistic Activities
    4. Professional Research and Professional Meetings
    5. Educational Activities
    6. Religious Activities
    7. Public Performances, Clinics, Workshops, Athletic and Other Competitions, and Exhibitions
    8. Support for the Cuban People
    9. Humanitarian Projects
    10. Activities of Private Foundations or Research or Educational Institutes
    11. Exportation, Importation, or Transmission of Information or Informational Materials
    12. Licensed Exportations
    — Since neither one of them is performing, or has family there, or is doing any work on behalf of a human rights organization, your guess is as good as mine as to why they were allowed to go.

    • $46661540

As I said above, there are tour guides in Jamaica that offer day trips to Cuba, and provided you don’t get your passport stamped, no one knows you were there. The Cuban passport control officers typically oblige that request.

      • TocksNedlog

Is that what they did? Or did they request and receive permission from the U.S. government to travel there?

        • $46661540

I don’t know what they did, nor, did I claim to know, I only spoke from my personal experiences. If I had to guess, they took a private jet directly to Havana, and they (and their desired American Dollars) were welcomed with open arms.

Regardless, what does it matter if they received permission to enter Cuba? There are hundreds of thousands of Americans that enter Cuba each year, and I don’t see you questioning them. In my humble opinion, the government shouldn’t have the ability to tell me where I can and can’t travel.

          • TocksNedlog

What difference, at this point, does it make?
Rule of law, shmule of law?
            Everybody does it?
The reason behind the restriction is to prevent American tourist dollars from supporting a regime that oppresses its citizens. Some people think this is a good idea since those tourist bucks are unlikely to raise the standard of living one iota, and will instead provide financial stability to the government, resulting in the perpetuation of the underclass.

    • Anderson

I notice the whole vacay thing is conspicuously absent….

    • EastValleyConservative

Theyare “special” people who are favored by the Obamas. That is why. The rules do not apply to the “king” or his favored court jesters. Remember Carney last week complaining that “If Obama were king…… but he is not…” The emerging pattern is frightening. Why? Half the country has proven they are dumb enough to fall for this mantra that if they just make him king, he will move forward with all of their (ignorant) Utopian wishes.

      • TocksNedlog

For those on the left, abdicating personal responsibility — along with liberty — is a feature, not a bug.

  • Conservativesniper

This is the height of self absorbed ignorance. Well, except for the traitorous, lying bast*rd in the White House!

  • J.N. Ashby

Maybe they couldn’t find a good Dulce de Leche in America. (Guys and Dolls reference. Ha.)

    • Grumpa Grumpus

      Got it…
      Good.

      • J.N. Ashby

        It’s like a milkshake! What’s in this?
        Bacardi…
        Isn’t that alcohol?
        Well, yeah…but…y’know…don’t worry about it…

  • Cruz2016!!!

Jay Z is one ugly dude…what was Beyonce’ thinking…oh that’s right, she doesn’t think!

    • neoface

      Looks bit retarded as well.

  • TheOriginalDonald

Get over yourself, Mom! Jay-Z and Beyonce are on a humanitarian mission, not a propaganda junket for US!-Meghan Boo Boo

  • oneword

maybe they want to buy Cuba

  • oneword

Beyonce needs a bunch of fruit on top of her & she will really fit the part

  • ICOYAR

Hope they live there and get treated like every other citizen there.

Then they won’t be leftists anymore.

    • lillymckim

      Right on!

  • Grumpa Grumpus

I don’t understand why everyone assumes that the people who visit these places are unaware of the the oppression and mass murders that occur…

It has been plastered enough in every medium — including some of the dramas these low-infolife people have been in.

I have come to think that it is simply that they see themselves being in the same social class as kim, castro, etc — they’re all of The Elite of Humanity and the troubles of peons matter not at all.

    • Miss Clairee

And wouldn’t any NORMAL person who ventures outside the US at least read-up on the place they are about to visit? But then again, these aren’t NORMAL people so I will shut up now!

  • Anderson

They probably couldn’t tell the difference between hangin in Castro’s palace and Hanging in the WH. Although, to be fair, maybe Beyonce is planning on smuggling political prisoners out of Cuba in that thing on her head.

  • lillymckim

    #WhatsInBeyoncesHair

  • RedSoloCup

Beyonce must be trying out the “Marge Simpson Look”.

  • neoface

Do they know how to read? The answer is “NO”. Jay-Z is a high school drop out, Beyonce, not sure if she even when to high school. There you go, it shows that money does not buy degrees, nor intelligence. Oprah has a lot of honorable degrees but no college degree.

  • tonio

It’s not ignorant! Ex-president George Bush had a lunch with the Osama Binladen’s family before (911). Besides Havana, Cuba,
Was once a holding ground for African slaves!!

  • Elke E. Wilhelm

And the Left wonders why people call them unpatriotic!!! Because of stunts like this you morons. Cuba is our enemy. They have one of the worst records of human rights abuses against their own people in modern times. Shame on Beyonce and Jay-Z, not that they know any shame.

  • B E

Where is the “small government” cry now? Yeah going to Cuba was probably foolish, but they have every right to go where they want, whether or not anyone else likes it. Who are we to restrict their freedoms? Conservatives like doing that, though, if they don’t like what someone’s doing.

  • Red Fred

    They’re spies. :)
